Called these guys to take a look at a gas leak as the gas company had locked the meter. I was without hot water and they knew it was an emergent situation. The scheduling and the technician were friendly but that's where the good experienced stopped. They gave me a quote for 3 times as high as other quotes I received that day. We aren't talking hundreds of dollars, but thousands. They wanted to charge $4,000 higher than the next person and the other two quotes were from national chains with a great reputation. Additionally, I came to find out that I was charged double of what a normal leak detection test would have cost. $500 vs $250 from anyone else. If you do call this company, please make sure you call around because you're likely going to get taken for a ride.

Quick and professional response to my home plumbing disaster. Pleasant on the phone, promised to arrive within the hour (and did), fixed everything in 40 minutes and left it all cleaned up. Sergio was top notch. They came recommended and I am fully comfortable recommending them to anyone else. If you're in Los Feliz/Silver Lake area Nautilus should be the only plumber on your list.

Valencia's Plumbing came out the same day I called. They gave me a reasonable quote and did the work 2 days after that. Some issues were not resolved and I called them again and they came out the same day to check it out. I appreciate the prompt response and their dedication in trying to resolve the issue as well as their honest assessment of the situation. I would highly recommended them.

I give my thanks to Santiago and his team of Dino and Johnny. These guys braved the underworld that I dare not breach, and they discovered and exorcised the fear I felt to be true.

What I thought was going to be simple snake whipping due to some careless grease handling ultimately uncovered the true health of the house, and the outlook was severe. I was told of a whole host of issues that went well beyond my initial reason for calling. I didn't completely understand it at the time, but when Santiago runs a high powered snake through the lines, then comes back with a commercial grade snake and still can't make it all the way through the system, paramedics were needed. Enter Dino and Johnny. After a careful tag team mapping of the landscape, a medical plan was set and supplies needed to be gathered.

On the next day, I wished them luck on their underground adventure. Come to find out that if this house was a person, it would have been in cardiac arrest ten times over. These guys cut and sliced and chopped whole extensions of pipe that had been encrusted what I can only describe as 'gutter cheese.' At one point, I went out to check on them as I heard some discussion. Admittedly, I felt a bit underdressed in my Hawaiian shirt and shorts while these guys were in full body onesies and gas masks. They were fine, and I let the pros do what they do. The pipe transplant took a whole days work, and in the end, I'm back to being able to do those simple things that I take for granted that are so important in daily life. When water starts filling your sink while using the washing machine, one cannot help but to freak out.

The task at hand looked to be the result of deterioration and build up over time, and no amount of baking soda and vinegar was going to clear that mess.

Was it expensive? Yes. It ended up becoming a major project.

Was it overpriced? Absolutely not. It was worth every penny.

Victor from Speedy Stephens Plumbing Company came to my house and did a phenomenal job in a very short amount of time. His attention to detail and expertise was remarkable. Beware--their street address is only a mailbox store. I will be coming to protest outside their phony street address on Westwood Blvd later this week. Chriscame out to relight my water heater for my tenants. (The tenants found this plumber) I'm not surprised they have locations in Chicago. Wink, wink. They are quite organized So Chris relit the pilot & 2 days later it went out. When I finally got the receipt from the tenants, I saw that Chris had written that my water heater was 15 yrs old. Total.lie. it was installed new in 2010. So when I spoke to Chris, he screamed at me that my water heater was 15 yrs old & he would only come out to put in a new $1400 unit. He was extremely rude and condescending. He even referred to me as, Dear, in a demeaning tone. He also hung up on me. The owner ( person posing as the owner- I believe he is just the front man to deal with customer complaints) offered to have another plumber, Jose, take a look. I waited a week for Jose to come. Of course he backed up Chris's story that my water heater needed replacing. He pretended to try to.light the pilot. Bad acting job. I found an honest plumber that was going to replace my water heater, but when he saw my unit, he told me I did NOT need a new water heater. He serviced my unit & gave me a warranty. It's good there are some honest people around, but don't bet on finding any honest people at Rocket Plumbing. They are out to get the most $ they can out of you. Warning they have locations all over Southern California. Avoid Avoid Avoid

The washer drain was unclogged quickly. The service technician Michael Thierry was very courteous and friendly and even cleaned the washer and dryer after the work was completed. Thanks!
