Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

The plumber was able to clear our main line and he was very pleasant. That’s the positive part. We originally scheduled the appointment between 5-7pm. I said I was going to be home closer to 7pm which they said wasn’t a problem. The plumber ended up coming just after 10pm. I understand that a few things happened that held the driver up, but all in all we received good service. Just be prepared to wait a bit

Had a major clog. Water backing up into both toilets and bathtubs. Plumber came quickly. Was polite and thorough. Also found that the toilet was improperly installed. Fixed that as well. Explained everything and walked me through the service. Great experience.

Called these guys for a clogged shower drain…they did a great job—professional, respectful, and efficient!

The low rating is purely due to the exorbitant cost…they were here for under an hour, and RR charged us $467. To snake a drain!

Will absolutely NOT be calling them again at those prices!!

Roto-rooters charged me $800 for a clogged pipe only for it to have problems again the next day. Someone else from roto-rooters came back and said it would cost $11,000 only to fix with hydrojet etc, but with no warranty and no guarantee that it wouldn't clog again. He pressured me to make the decision to order the work before he left (clearly now I know why), and I insisited that I wanted to think about it first. I ended up calling someone else and he only charged me $800 for the same service with the hydrojet and he gave me a 1-week warranty.

Excellent personnel; gave me all the details of the repair and showed me the progress step by step. Not cheap but excellent service and great staff. Friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable.

After recognizing that I needed professional help with a blockage in my kitchen sink, I contacted Roto-Rooter and despite my disbelief - they arrived 2 hours later (as promised) and proceeded to fix the issue while educating me on precisely what they were doing and why exactly they were doing it. Michael and David (the 2 technicians) were polite, communicative and patient. They completed the project in good spirits and due to their professionalism I would gladly recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone who might need their services. 5 stars, no question!

Hired them for removal of a clog. The team showed up quickly and removed the clog in short order and at a reasonable cost for a late in the day emergency. The two of them were courteous, helpful and a pleasure to work with.

Company send Robert out within an hour of calling and he cleaned the sewage and gave it a better flow. Great job, he was very professional and worked fast.

Got a call at work, was told the toilet at home wasn't working. Called roto-rooter, they showed up and fixed it in less than 2 hours. The toilet works well, just in time for a holiday weekend.

Very happy. The technician came early which was really appreciated. He was friendly, informative and competent. He successfully solved our problem, had the equipment and the spare part we needed, and gave a 6 month warranty to boot. The only negative I have is the price, but it was an emergency so we had no choice. Thank you RR.

It was a nightmare toilet overflow you know the rest. It was Superbowl Sunday and they made it in an hour and a half from another call in the valley to West Hollywood. Everything went well and was working great when they left. Thank you.

Thinking it was a simple Drain cleaning (too many apple peels), (and not dirty) and it only took a few minutes to clear, i thought it would reasonably priced. Even with discount, Roto Rooter is more than most other plumbers…and then he disconnected my dishwasher water line accidentally and had to come back to reconnect.

They charged way to much for the work that was improperly done. I am out $3377.00
For a drain clean and clean out a attachment. This was the Chatsworth division. Sales men are not honest with you

Kitchen sink beyond the immediate drain and pipes was extremely slow. The technician used his smallest equipment and knocked it right out, but it was quit a distance. $440 and away goes trouble down the drain, followed by a 1 month warranty. It was worth it!

Very quick and professional service, Lamont was a huge help and very kind. He got our kitchen back and running very quickly considering how much damage there was.

They saved our Thanksgiving… the sewer line backed up just as 30 guests arrived… Roto Rooter was on-site in 15 minutes and fixed everything. No one at the party even noticed! Could have been a CATASTROPHE but Roto saved the whole holiday!

After many attempts with other companies with no reasonable resolution regarding a kitchen sink clogged, we decided to contacted Roto Rooter for a estimation and repairs. Well I was impressed how quickly he unclogged all pipes, cleaned everything and more importantly, the cost was rather fair comparing to other previous estimations from other companies. Highly recommended!

The technician Tech: (JOSE #515-7373) you sent out was dishonest with pricing. I think he drove into this nice area and thought he'd make a buck on seemingly wealthy people. He wanted to charge $400 to turn off the main water valve while the leak was flooding out. Note: this does not include fixing the problem. Thankfully the rep we had at the property works closely with water as he is our pool service and knew this tech was not charging an honest price. Then when he realized our rep was knowledgeable the tech said ok I'll do it for $200. What are we in Cozumel? Now we are bartering to get a fair price. Also what if this was my grandmothers house. She would not know any better. So as the owner I called and lectured him on integrity and he ended up charging me $150. The problem still exist and the leak is very apparent. We don't need him to circle back around with a leak test guy. It is very clear where the leak is coming form. Needless to say I will be posting google reviews and I think even paying you guys at all is a joke after dealing with this tech. A plumber should be able to get the job done. Now I am calling a plumber who is a friend of our pool service company and posting his company name in my reviews as well. Im Livid. Now when people look up Rotor-Rooter they may see my review and have another company to call for integrity in this field. I hate shady business.

They came quickly and did a great job. My technician was Ian and he was fast and efficient. I have used the company twice and both times were great. I highly reccomend them.

They showed up early after calling me to make sure that was OK, and the technician was a very nice man who did his work efficiently and left our bathroom just as clean as it was before he got there. The only reason not to hire this company is that they are about twice as expensive as everyone else. I hired them anyway ( they were very upfront about their pricing — no surprises) because I believe the quality of their work is excellent and I’ve had bad experiences trying to save money with plumbing problems.

The toilet was plugged even after I had repeatedly plunged it. The plumber was here for maybe 5 minutes. He unblocked it then handed me a bill for $281.00.
Gratefully, the toilet is working.
Roto rooter is exorbitantly overpriced and will never use them again.

The Roto Rooter team is very kind and courteous during their visit. They are very knowledgeable about their trade and easy to work with. John was very helpful and understanding with the plumbing issues of our 'older' home. He's a refined gem with high value.

Excellent customer service on the phone and in person. It was great that they are open 24 hours and could provide next day service on the weekend. Their plumber Cordie was professional, patient, thorough, and very informative. He was fantastic.

Total rip-off. Charged $250 to unplug a toilet - which they could not fix. After they were unable to clear the line, they offered to remove the toilet and tryagain for another $750. I called another plumber who fixed the problem for $99. If you use them, make sure you get a firm price BEFORE they come out.

Had and issue with other toilets after repair was done told the plumber but his answer was if you need me to check your other toilets it will cost you and additional $200 dollars per toilet…. Used them more prior before but had a really good experience but not this last time… and to top it of he wrote customer Denied service…

Joseph was amazing. After snaking the drains again, he found another leak under the sink and quickly fixed it. He was thorough, very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. Roto rooter vastly overcharges for very simple services. They make you sign a sheet before a repair that basically locks you into paying them at least $300! They’re Basically scamming people for incredibly basic repair services. DON’T use their services

very bad service, would not recommend it to anyone. I waited the whole evening, they endured the opposition all the time, at the end they said that they had no masters, and they could only the next day. I lost a lot of time and have to look for another company that can come to me at night, because it is impossible to be in the house because of the smell

I had another company came out told me that my pipe was broken I was qouted me a 6 figure amount to fix the problem...
But all I had was stopped up toilet...

My problem was fixed with a price I could afford.

I was charged over $500 to do a sewage clean out, and they weren’t able to get the job done and they still charge me the full amount. I will never use this company again

Drain under garbage disposal cleared out quickly through access pipe outside kitchen window.

Terrible service from this company. Charged me a $155 for an estimate and provided me an estimate of $12500 to replace 25' of pipe in the ground, install four valves, manifold and a regulator. Talk about price gouging!!!!
