We needed a fair amount of work done to the sewer drain under our house. We sought several estimates and while John’s Plumbing wasn’t the lowest, their rates were reasonable and Victor promised to take care of any issues that might arise as a result of their work (it’s a 100+ year old house so we have to anticipate these things). Victor and his team were expeditious and did the work in a professional manner. Upon digging, they learned the pipe configuration wasn’t entirely as they’d expected but he honored their original quote. We later discovered an issue with an attached pipe that we believe was impacted by the work that had been done, but even though there was no way to be absolutely certain and know for sure, Victor worked out a reasonable arrangement with us and resolved the issue. He was professional and twice demonstrated that he was a man of his word — there’s not much more you can ask for.

We had a leak in a a pipe to our water heater and the company that installed it said they could not respond for a few days. Someone recommended Sunset West so we called them and they were here within a half an hour. Stelios, the plumber who came, fixed the leak quickly and professionally. We had a few more minor plumbing needs and Stelios gladly helped us with all of them and had a great attitude about it. We will definitely use them again.

The brass fitting under a sink was leaking. I called several places after Thanksgiving and they answered. The plumber Luis, arrived within 45 minutes , assessed the issue and made the necessary repairs to stop the leak. Ford's Plumbing will be my go-to plumber in the future.

Miguel was great - explained the problem clearly to me, helped me understand what he was going to do to fix it, showed me where my condo's shutoff valve was (which I was told that we didn't have one), and even helped with a few other things that were above and beyond what he was called out here to do. Jose came for the tankless water heater maintenance with mask on. He showed me how dirty the unit was and explained to me that the frequent error code 12 shown on the panel was due to too much debris clogged up the unit. He helped me clean up the unit and replaced the new cartridge for the filter. I really appreciate his professional work.

Jose came to help replace a faucet, snake a drain, and replace a broken check valve. He is an exceptional plumber - courteous, responsible, punctual and fairly-priced. During one of the repairs, a hot water recirculation pump had a glitch and stopped working - he promptly came back the following morning to get it sorted out.
