The gas company had cut service to some of my gas meters with no explanation, and my usual plumber was out of town. New Generation Plumbing answered my call right away and Jake was at the door in less than 30 minutes on a weekend. He explained exactly what he was going to do to solve the problem, rearranged his schedule, kept in touch with me over the phone about what was happening, and stuck with it until the gas was back on. This was over the course of a few days and several phone calls to the gas company as they were being very difficult. I am grateful for Jake's patience and willingness to work until the job was done.

Just a few days after they replaced a kitchen faucet, the entire faucet assembly is loose. They simply didn't tighten it, or didn't tighten it correctly. I called them up about a year ago to install one of those Pelican whole house water filter/softeners and I can safely say these guys do the job right the first time! They were able to schedule the installation within a week of coming out to do an estimate, which itself was one a day or two after I called, got the whole job done in a reasonable amount of time and pretty close to the original estimate (stuff happens underneath old houses with old pipes and then suddenly you need a new section of pipe; it is what it is). No problems with the filter since and, if I have the need in the future, I'll definitely call them up again.
