They came out quickly and responded very well to a last minute change in my schedule. Tre came in and knocked out the work quickly while training someone new. He was very polite and knowledgeable.

I heard about this company through a friend. I was pleased when I received an immediate response along with a next day appointment for my gas test. I was unfamiliar with what a gas test was as this is something that should have been performed on my home prior to purchasing. He was very knowledgeable and professional and wanted to make me aware of the process. He scheduled all of my inspections and pulled the necessary permits in a timely fashion. He also coordinated the inspection times with my schedule and tried to limit the amount of days I would need to take off from work. This was very important to me! He did a great job and the prices were better than I was quoted with other companies! I will definitely be using them in the future.

Chris and Mike were awesome! On time, professional, friendly and efficient. They installed a gas dryer, repaired a valve and hauled away my old dryer. Highly recommend Metcalf.

Called after my sump pump suddenly started making loud noises. Spiro came out the next day, diagnosed the problem, and corrected it within minutes, then performed a test to ensure it was working properly. He could have easily told me it needed to be replaced and charged me 10x what he did, but only charged me for the visit. I appreciate the honesty and will only use Empire going forward. Thank you!

Frank is very nice, efficient and professional. He patiently answered my many questions and also adjusted a shower handle so I will be able to get hotter water (it wouldn’t move all the way to hot before.) He was able to diagnose my problem and install the new garbage disposal in one visit and the price was fair. He will be my plumber from now on!!

Used this company again for multiple new plumbing leaks, typical of an older home. And all fixed above expectations!! Joe was the best!We just used the services of Prime Plumbing for at least the 3rd time. Each experience has been stress free, no second guessing the plumber, work done quickly & correctly. Twice we had Prime Plumbing come in to fix what a different plumbing company couldn't do. Will now always call Prime Plumbing 1st. When going through HomeServ insurance, will request and wait for their services.

There was a leaking in my 20 year-old water heater; first I contacted a local big company, and was told the next available person for plumbing inspection will be next Monday ( 7 days away). My god -- My basement is wet; When I asked help in home advisor, Brain almost called immediately, guiding me taking photos of water heater, and gave me estimated prices immediately. Of course, I shopped around and compared a few vendors, but finally still selected their service. On the second day two young men Joe and Sam arrived on time exactly at 9 am and started to work. They are professional, knowledgeable, patient, and get the work done. I highly recommend their service. You will have a peace of mind if you let them handle your work.

We purchased a new garbage disposal from Home Depot. Ed and Rick were the installers. Both were professional and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job!

My in-law's had Mike's Plumbing and Heating out to fix their hot water boiler heater at the end of January while they were out of town. Mike's team replaced a part and the heat was on. A couple weeks later I checked in on the house and the boiler had failed again. Mike's team came out and restarted the boiler. I then waited until the beginning of March to check on the heat and found it had failed and a pipe had started leaking in the kitchen. The house is over a 100 years old and had old iron pipes that led to the upstairs bathroom that had sprung a leak. Dave made recommendations to my in-laws over the phone with me on site and work began to cut into the kitchen ceiling to remove and replace the failing pipes. He also replaced the hot water heater and the remaining iron pipes in the basement and put new pipes to run directly to the boiler and to allow the rest of the house water to be shut off for extended periods of time. While costly the work was very meticulous, Dave and his apprentice worked hard, neatly and did a great job on the repair work installing the new plumbing logically so that it's easy to turn off various water lines.

The DOWN SIDE of Mike's is they are VERY EXPENSIVE and charge a $19 fee for estimates.

Update on June 7th. I called Mike's out to replace a wax seal under my toilet. I paid the $19 fee and said no thanks to their $440 quote for a task that takes under an hour.
