I was able to make a same day a appointment at no extra charge, as it was not an emergency. The technician, Efrain, was professional and arrived in the stated time slot. He was able to complete all of the necessary work in a timely manner. He informed me up front about the top price for the work needed. He was able to comple the work at the lower price stated and didn't try to upcharge me or sell anything extra or unnecessary. He was very friendly and explained all of the work that he was doing as he was doing it. Robert (895) came out quickly on a Sunday to clear a blocked drain in our KSL. Although he wasn't able to clear the drain, he did everything he could with the equipment he had on hand and made multiple calls to get us in touch with the appropriate technician to investigate further. He was patient and friendly, explained everything thoroughly, and completely cleaned up the area when he was finished. This was my first time using Roto-Rooter and I couldn't be happier with the service.

If I could write a book on this guy and his professionalism it still would not be enough. This is a long post but it's worth anyone who is not sure on how to choose a plumber. I was referred to Van from another friend. I had a sewer line backup and the county said it was on my side. I could not find a clean out in my yard, therefore the snake was used in the basement toilet. I called van on 730pm Friday night . He arrived shortly hereafter. He did not charge an emergency fee like other plumbers. Van also gives free estimates, while some plumbers will charge you just to come out and somehow deduct the free estimate after the plumber completes the work. When he told me the prices it was around 815pm. I said to Van he can come back tomorrow since it was late. He requested to compete the work that night!! He worked for hours and brought in a bigger snake that morning because my job was really bad. 5 stars is not enough. VAN deserves 10 STARS!!!

Highly recommend. Justin showed up shortly after I called. He was very familiar with the issue (broken flex tube behind stove) and installed a new valve as well. He double checked all the work to make sure there was no leak, and then afterwards he checked the rest of the pipes to verify that it was all sound. He left the space clean and was very careful not to make any mess or accidentally scratch anything. Justin was very friendly, polite and professional and made sure to use his time as efficiently as possible. He did a great job and I will call him again anytime I need work done.

Stokes Plumbing and Mechanical just assisted our family with installing a new water heater when the old one sprung a leak in the inner tank. The whole process was smooth and professional. Great communication, punctual, and knowledgeable in his craft... Steve was great to work with and even came back on a Saturday morning to help us avoid a weekend of cold showers. We'll definitely be using Stokes again when plumbing issues arise.

I forgot that Fitz Mechanical was the installer of my furnace, but when it was in, they removed the old furnace (THANK YOU THANK YOU), and did a beautiful job on checking up on it (FOR FREE), any problems I wanted checked out a few weeks later.. And the cost of the new furnace was two thousand dollars less than any of the other furnace companies in my area. However there's been an army of sales calls from home warranty companies that I considered, but am through with, and maybe Fitz was pressured into being part of this conglomerate of sales calls, which I am sorry has happened to them. So that there is no misunderstanding about this, I would like to say that FITZ MECHANICAL IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR FURNACE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE!! if they also offer home warranty plans, I would make sure that some other warranty companies do not hack a potential customer into being sold a program that is not FITZ!

Nick was recommended to us by our electrician. Nick is very responsive and can always squeeze us in. We first used him to hook up our new dishwasher and ice maker. The installation guys wouldn't because of my pipes were considered 'old'. Regardless, Nick came over in the evening and had both hooked up quickly. He even moved my old dishwasher out to the garage.

Recently, we used Nick to clear our clogged kitchen sink drain. He came out the same day and was done in under an hour. He is great to work with and I will definitely recommend him.

The first time we used Stilwell Plumbinging they were great. They really help us out. This time however it was the total opposite. We now have been without hot water for over a week. The plumber was supposed to come out between 2 and 6 PM. At 6:45 pm I was out playing with my kids in the back yard when the plumber walks up to my fence and asks me why I didn't answer the front door. He never called to say he was running late never apologized for being late but was annoyed that I didn't answer the front door when he finally showed up.

I showed him the proble and he took a few pictures and said he needed to order a part. I asked how long that would take and he said they would have it the next day.

The next day my wife and I called a total of six times to try and see if the part had come in and to schedule a time for them to come out. Calling six times may seem excessive but everytime we called we literally got a different reason why the part was not in yet. The final time I called the woman told me they were having trouble finding the part we needed. She said it was hard to find parts for a tankless water heater. That took me back because I dont have a tankless water heater. To told her this and then she said oh right we ordered your part this morning and they dont have same day delivery. When I asked why we were told, by the plumber, that the part would have been in the next day she told me they shouldn't have said that. I also asked her why she didn't tell my wife or me this earlier today. She said she had gotten our claim mixed up with another claim.

I'm not a business man in any shape or form and I understand that businesses have bad days but reading the other reviews there seems to be common trends with the lower ratings.
