Ty replaced an old cast iron tub with a new tub. He provided a detailed quote and did the job expertly and efficiently. We were very happy with the completed job. Ty is personable and conscientious and I highly recommend him.

Called and had someone out the next morning to replace a water heater and a pressure reducer valve against the main water line. Easy, speedy, & professional. Highly recommended.

Today was second try at getting a tech to my home. Scheduled for Friday and waited 2-5 pm until called by dispatcher to say no techs available. Fortunately, rescheduled for Saturday and John Pitt, tech, arrived within expected time. Service is still pricey but John did a quick, effective repair.

Our water heater went out at 430 PM and they were able to replace it same day. Responsive, professional, they fixed us right up and answered all our questions. Definitely use them if you have a water heater issue.

He gave professional advice and l am very pleased with his work.He replaced hot and cold valves for the kitchen faucet. I would highly recommend him for your plumbing needs. I will be passing on his name to others who require his services. I will also be canceling my plumbing smart services with BGE home.

Stilwell was dispatched by my home warranty company to repair a shower valve. The plumber attempted to disassemble my old shower, and broke the trim, as well as the posi temp cartridge. While trying to put it back together, he leaked a large amount of water into my wall, causing a large water stain on the ceiling below. I was told that replacement parts were not available at their supplier, so their only option was to completely replace everything at a much higher cost on a later date. My warranty would not cover those costs.

Rather than having Stilwell come back and complete the job, I reached out to another plumber that was recommended. He obtained the parts needed to perform the repair from the same supplier that Stilwell claimed did not have them. He completed the repair with no issues.

Stilwell tried to scam me for hundreds of dollars by completely breaking my shower and stating that excessive work was needed to fix it.

I would not recommend Stilwell to anyone, for any reason.

Too expensive. one loose wire - BGE fixed it for $0. Michael and Sons told me I needed to replace the circuit breaker for $7000.

I heard about this company through a friend. I was pleased when I received an immediate response along with a next day appointment for my gas test. I was unfamiliar with what a gas test was as this is something that should have been performed on my home prior to purchasing. He was very knowledgeable and professional and wanted to make me aware of the process. He scheduled all of my inspections and pulled the necessary permits in a timely fashion. He also coordinated the inspection times with my schedule and tried to limit the amount of days I would need to take off from work. This was very important to me! He did a great job and the prices were better than I was quoted with other companies! I will definitely be using them in the future.

Adam P. did the repair on my boiler drain line with his assistant Ryan. They did an awesome job. There’s no more loud banging and I have nice new copper pipe and an operational boiler again. Thanks for all the hard work, it was much appreciated!! I’d also like to add that Adam was on time and I was notified when he was on the way. Adam was very professional and took the time to answer all my questions throughout the day and even let me know when they were leaving for lunch. Adam and his colleague Mike came to the house and identified the problem beforehand. They gave me the option to remove drywall myself to access the area where the pipe needed replacement and gave me a discount on the bill for doing it. Finally I’d like to say to anyone reading these reviews…if you call Metcalf for plumbing service definitely request Adam!!
