Called for a water heater quote on a Sunday after my mother’s tank went up. The technicians were prompt and professional. They assessed situation and gave me a quote of a minimum of 3500.00, possibly more if they had to cut boiler pipes, etc. for doing job 2 days later. Ended up using another company at half the cost, and next day service. Don’t use them until you get at least 1 more quote, verges on price gouging.

Repair person arrived early which was good. He was polite and professional. Work was done quickly and efficiently.I would highly recommend this company.

Justin and his team are the best. Since moving in, I've been having sewer issues causing both of our toilets to clog. Justin's team was able to come out in a timely fashion. They inspected all of my plumbing and cleared clogs that I didn't even know existed (Like my bathroom sink!).

Stokes Plumbing and Mechanical just assisted our family with installing a new water heater when the old one sprung a leak in the inner tank. The whole process was smooth and professional. Great communication, punctual, and knowledgeable in his craft... Steve was great to work with and even came back on a Saturday morning to help us avoid a weekend of cold showers. They did more than we asked, as they not only fixed the toilet, but arranged that it would be cheaper and a DIY next time. He provided good information.

Stay far away unless you enjoy being ripped off. I had my AC unit serviced during the spring and thought they did a pretty good job so I signed up for a service contract. They came out in October for the first scheduled checkup and told me that my 10 year old furnace was emitting 400 parts per million of carcinogens and that by law it had to be shut off until repaired. They gave me a price of $1123 for a new gas valve, discounted to $955 because I had a service contract. They also said that if that did not fix the problem I would need to have the furnace replaced at a cost of 5-8K, or my whole HVAC unit replaced for 10-15K. Since this was their first visit, and the weather was getting to the point where we would need to start using the heat, the light bulbs went off and I started doing some research. I found the gas valve for our furnace online for $49. I could not find any gas valves for more than $225. I could easily do the repair myself in about 10 minutes. A replacement furnace cost $1500. I then called BGE Home and asked them to come by and do a routine safety check. They found everything to be in working order and measured the emissions at 20 parts per million, well within acceptable levels. Needless to say, I canceled the service contract. I'm giving them 1 star because the site won't let me give them zero. Buyer beware, and be warned!
