Best Drain Replacement in Baltimore MD

We had a gas leak and had the gas company come out and found it. They found the leak in an elbow joint where it connects to the water heater and turned the gas off to it. Tyree was notified and he came out to our house in an hour!! His communication was great and kept us updated on his ETA and was very kind and professional! We showed him where the leak was and he did the soap test and found another leak along the pipe as well. He had it repaired in 30 minutes and turned the gas back on to make sure it wasn’t leaking after. I would highly recommend Tyree at T.L. Back Plumbing for any of your plumbing repairs!!!

Joe and his son (Ace Plumbing) are fantastic. They did a wonderful job at a great price. I'd recommend them to anyone, and I'll make sure to use their services again myself.

A pipe was leaking in our basement. Rich came out, checked the situation, gave us his opinion and made sure to get the job done. The only issue was that they had to go under the sidewalk to reach the pipe, which wasn't really their fault. The concrete wound up breaking. Still, we are happy we don't have a leak anymore.

The first technician Catons sent was a disaster. He was unable to find the house but kept insisting on the phone, irately, that he was in front of the house when he was nowhere in sight. He also grabbed my cordless drill off the counter without even asking (during a pandemic) to try to pull out the faucet body. When he couldn't get the faucet off, he announced that I needed a new faucet. In addition to this bizarre behavior, his command of the English language was too limited to communicate effectively about the job he was doing. I told him I didn't want him to install a new faucet, and he left. Quite frustrating, because I still had no water in the kitchen and had wasted several hours dealing with this.

Upon researching the problem further, I discovered Moen would send the necessary replacement part free of charge, but I decided to upgrade the faucet and picked one up from Home Depot. Then I requested a second technician from Catons to handle the installation.

Bruce, the second technician, did a great job. It took a little less than an hour, and he agreed to give me the hourly rate rather than charging for a flat fee for faucet replacement, which would have been nearly double the hourly cost, $400 instead of $200. He also explained how a trap works and why the lack of a trap in the right-hand sink (which I had not known about) was something that should be fixed. I would have had him make that repair today, but it would have been an extra $200 for fetching parts.

Having seen Catons' price list, I decided to use an independent plumber for reworking the trap.

I am more than just impressed, I am grateful for Baltimore Water Heater guys! I live in Fed Hill, had an emergency, and called two big companies. Both times I got a secretary with no knowledge of plumbing or costs. One company even charged to just look at it (and not until the next day). Then I called BWHGs. Rob gave me a flat fee on the phone, without seeing it. He asked me to take some pictures, then came right over. It was a bigger job than he had anticipated due to the previous plumber's shoddy job, but Rob still stuck to his initial flat fee. Folks, Use BWHGs. You will talk to a real guy who knows his stuff; he will take all guesswork out by giving you a flat fee; and to top it off he's a nice guy who wants to help and is truly grateful for the work. I would recommend BWHGs to anyone who needs a water heater replaced; they are so good at it because it's all they do!

James just finished replacing our main water line and snaking some of our drains. We had major concerns about the pre-existing plumbing in the house we just bought as first-time homeowners, due to very poor work by the previous owner. James inspected everything thoroughly, answered our endless questions, and helped put our minds at ease. He let us know what we needed to get repaired right away, and what we could wait to do a little later on. His work is super clean and efficient and the work areas were left in great condition. He also communicates every step of the way. I can’t say enough great things about his work - we immediately referred him to our friends down the street for some work they need done! We’ve found our go-to plumber and we’re so happy we did!

Called Liana today 9/12/20: He arrived less than an hour, after finishing up another job. He is very prompt, courteous and very reasonably priced. He is at the top of my list, if I ever need plumbing services. Thanks Angela

Nothing like sewage back up into a bathtub. Wasn’t fun, but made much less painful by the service: Daniel was there in about an hour, talked me through every step, and cleaned up beautifully. Thumbs up.

We've used this company twice and they were extremely responsive, punctual, and do great work at a reasonable price! 10/10 reccomend!

Dave and John came by to fix a burst pipe. They were professional, kind, and solved out massive leak quickly. Can't recommend them enough!

Called Steve for a problem toilet that kept unseating itself. He came out next day. Fixed it perfectly. I found my new Plumber (keeping his CV info), my new go to guy. Thanks again Steve!

Made an appointment. The appointment was confirmed. Then nobody showed up to perform the work and did not even call to follow-up. Not recommended.

Customer service was a gem to work with. Tippy had me connected right away to the dispatcher who scheduled a plumber out at my convenience Joe and Lou were very professional and their customer service skills put me at ease Job well done !! And my linen closet where my bath trap was cleaner when they left. STILLWELL plumbing is # 1in my house. Thanks again 😊
