I used Home Advisor to get several bids from local plumbers to replace a toilet in my master bathroom. When Vegas Valley Plumbing arrived to make the initial inspection and estimate, I was immediately impressed. You know this is a company that follows rules and regulations when they wore masks and put on shoe covers to keep my floors clean. The other companies that came for an estimate did not wear masks or shoe covers. On top of all that, Vegas Valley Plumbing gave me the lowest estimate. After receiving the estimate, I called the office to schedule the work the next day. The same two guys came the next day and arrived on time. I was scheduled for 4p-6p and they showed up exactly at 4p. They called me at about 3p to let me know that they were on the way. The work was done by 5:30p and me and my wife couldn't be happier. My wife is a clean freak and even she was impressed. The guys cleaned up the entire area where they worked. I was very surprised to see that they put my old toilet in a heavy black bag so that nothing will spill on the floors as they hauled it out. They also used a similar black bag when they brought tools in and out of my house so nothing would drip on my floors. I've never seen any plumbers pay so much attention to detail like this. I've dealt with so many bad and overpriced plumbers in the past that I'm very thankful to find Vegas Valley Plumbing. I'll be using them in the future for as long as they keep up the same quality of work. I’m a DIY guy, and there’s pretty much nothing I don’t repair around the house on my own, but plumbing is the exception. Installing a new garbage disposal or replacing a faucet is one thing,, but when I needed to replace the angle stops for the toilets in my home, I decided it was time to call a professional. I spoke with Excel plumbing over the phone, and they approximated about 30 minutes per toilet, and about $25 for parts for each. They said they charge an hourly fee of $100 per hour as opposed to a set fee for the job. Nice! I actually preferred the hourly fee because then I knew the repair man would take his time and do it right as opposed to getting it done as quickly as possible and doing a crappy job. They told me he would show up between 7 and 7:30am and would call me first to let me know he was on his way. The day of the repair I received a phone call at 6:45am letting me know he was en route and would be there shortly. He arrived at 7:15am, briefly discussed with me what he would be doing and got started. It only took him an hour to do all 3 toilets, which included installing a new tank fill valve I had picked up the day before. The final charges were $100 labor, and $95.70 in parts. The parts were slightly more since I wanted stainless steel braided supply hoses installed as well as the angle stops. I couldn’t be happier!

Mike was on time and very pleasant to work with, I appreciated Mikes expertise when it came to my water heater. I definitely wasn’t happy to need a service on my 2 year old system but I believe Mike fixed everything and I shouldn’t have anymore issues.
