I had home warranty technicians come out three separate times to work on a stoppage in main sewer line. They concluded that we needed to dig in front yard to solve problem and quoted me $3800. I called Chris for a second opinion. He came out on a Saturday morning and fixed the stoppage in the main sewer line for $140, said he was able to clear the stoppage in the main sewer line. Chris was honest, efficient and did not try to upsell me on services that I did not need unlike many corporate companies.

I WAS WITHOUT WATER FOR ABOUT A MONTH A WATER LINE HAD BUSTED AND CAUSED MY BASEMENT TO FLOOD. JOHN THE PLUMBER WAS A REFERRAL FROM A FAMILY MEMBER. ON JULY 28th 2021 MR. JOHN AND HIS WATER LINE CREW SHOWED UP IN THE MORNING AROUND 9am AND WAS DONE AROUND 1:30pm. THEY MADE MY DAY. MR. JOHN AND HIS CREW IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE WHEN IT COMES TO ANY PLUMBING NEEDS I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM AND HIS CREW.

Our new to us townhouse had issues with the kitchen waste disposal, dish washer, and hot water heater. We called Jerry because his web site included clear and understandable explanations of plumbing problems, including DIY instructions for many issues. His knowledge and professionalism impressed us. Jerry arrived on time, diagnosed each problem and explained exactly what had happened, what needed to be done, and why. His inspection also disclosed a potential problem with the dishwasher that would have caused a flood of waste water to damage our kitchen cabinets and wood floor. Really grateful that he fixed that before something bad happened. We were very impressed with his friendly, caring manner as much as his workmanship. When we moved two years later, everything Jerry fixed was still perfect.

When our new home had issues with erratic water pressure, we called Jerry. Just as he did two years earlier, he was on time, fixed the problem, and clearly explained everything. Also pleased that his prices are fair and very reasonable.

On this most recent call, Jerry repaired a leak around our garbage disposal, then taught me how to do it myself, in case it happens again.

Yesterday was my appointment. I needed 2 outdoor faucets replaced. Price was very reasonable. Installer was polite, professional and cleaned everything up after the job was completed. I definitely would use this company again.

Bruce, my tech, did a great job. He was on time, took care of the problem, really nice guy.

Andrew and Brandon did a great job getting my main line unclogged. Ace was able to get me in the same day I called. Would definitely recommend and use in the future.

To make a long story short, I hired Affordable Plumbing to do work on my home because the buyer's agent for our home sale wanted us to use them. They did the initial inspection and recommended the work that needed to be done. My wife and I hired them to do that work and here is where our trouble started. Matt, our technician, called me saying he was at an address 30 minutes away (obviously an office error) then accused me of doing something wrong. When he arrived at my house he apologized and got to work. When he finished, he told me my sewer line had been cleaned and that he had confirmed it with a video scope. Our buyer needed a recording of the video scope, which we did not receive from Affordable plumbing, so they hired them again to come out and rescope. This time the technician, Jeff, said that the lines were not only not clean but hadn't even been cleared of major obstructions. He could not even get to the main sewer pipe. When I called to ask about receiving a refund, Kim, the office manager, was extremely professional but (after several conversations) said that her boss was unwilling to give us a full refund. I insisted on a full refund because they did not do the work we hired them to do. Instead of speaking with me, the owner, Rick, called my wife. He was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. He also decided that he would not give us any refund at all. We have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and hope that this review will help any others out there choose a company that has the dignity to do the right thing when their work is unsatisfactory.
