I had several issues with my pipes and main line. I had several clogs and root balls, Chris Smith tech 3568 went above and beyond in helping me get my pipe clear with no backups. He identified issues, told me if it was a repair now or something that could hold off. Gave me tips on how to keep everything working until I could get money for the actual repair, and gave a very fair estimate. Everyone there was helpful but Chris is the ultimate perfessional and put more effort into helping me get working then ive ever experienced with someone doing a repair on my house. Came out to clear my main sewer line that was backing up into my house. They came pretty quick, I already had the toilet pulled off to make it easier. Jeremy went down 100ft and pulled out a bunch of roots that grew in toward the end of the pipe. The price was great and after $100 service coupon they had on their website it was only $245. He told me there will be a follow up to run a camera down the pipe to inspect it for free!! Which would make this an amazing value! Seeing as renting a camera for a day from another source is $200. Jeremy was very respectful and professional. I highly recommend their services if you need them! Sewer line is now clear with a 6month warranty! Thanks again!!

The time it took for a technician to visit was longer than anticipated, however the work was professional and the technician was pleasant to deal with. The price seemed steep for the amount that of service provided but all in all I would rate three stars based on the professionalism and timely service when technician was on site.

Corey did a fantastic job cleaning out the drain pipe, cleaning up any mess, and he even put everything back in the place he found it. He also let me know of potential solutions to fixing an old cast iron pipe.

Had what turned out to be a main sewer line blockage that started backing up in our basement. Called after hours and got a live person almost immediately. Had a technician onsite within an hour and diagnosed and resolved the issue. Very professional and informative. Still working through restoration services. Very happy with Roto Rooter.

I'm a first time homeowner and we already had a plumbing back-up. Called RotoRooter immediately and they were able to come out the next day to work on the issue. The tech was Dave (0393) and he was on time within the window they allowed, called me 10 minutes before arriving to let me know he was on his way, and was very professional with me. He was knowledgeable about how to approach the problem, dissected it down to customize my treatment plan, and even gave great recommendations for the parts that were beyond his scope. He walked my fiancé and I through the system with the camera after he cleaned and cleared everything out, showed us problem areas that might need more attention, and gave us the phone number to call for a continued maintenance service so this issue is not one in the future. The snake camera was amazing and he showed us where our line was in the driveway and yard and which sewer drain it was connected to. At the end of service he also gave us a discount off the total price to help us save some money since this was a brand new house to us and we were already broke haha. I really enjoyed talking with this about preventative maintenance and what types of products to flush down that are safe for the environment, I also enjoyed all of his recommendations that are not that costly but efficient ways to keep things running smooth. Overall a great tech, great company, and great use of my time. Speaking of time, the total appointment was about 2 hours long but I was expecting much longer so that was a nice surprise.

Terrible service. When you call with a problem they promise a window of service time to get your business so you do not call another company.Currently, they are almost three hours past the time of promised time and I am waiting for a call back with an update as to when their person will show up.i did get a call promising quick service about an hour after my first call from a remediation person to clean up from the overflowing water. Like that would do any good before they stopped the running water problem. Yes, they were jonnie-on-the-spot to sell me more services even before they fixed the problem.Their people are nice on the phone but just are not honest. I'll never use them again.

Told me they would be there between 9am-1pm. Didn’t show up until 430pm. Somehow managed to get his greasy finger prints on my new butcher block counter tops. There was a blob of grease left on the counter top as well which stained the wood because he left it there. Didn’t bother cleaning his mess which could’ve prevented this bad review. After a couple hrs he unclogged the kitchen sink.

These 2 guys came to unclog our drain and it was super fast and they updated us throughout their time here. They were kind and fixed the problem efficiently and in a timely manner. We found out there’s a main line issue, but we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t have them come help us. I will definitely use this service if need be in the future. Thanks guys : )

I got home from work and found out that I had a clog in my main drain line. I was able to have someone out to my house in under two hours. Brett was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to get my main line open again and went the extra mile to make sure the clog was fully taken care of before he left.

Brandon, your tech, came out on New Years Eve after we'd had a clog the day prior. He was able to get our main drain unclogged after we'd tried unsuccessfully with 100 ft snake - the clog was around 115' out, so lucky for us he had a longer snake than we did. He also asked us if we wanted to arrange for a camera to go down our line to be sure everything was ok, free of charge. Luckily we took him up on that offer because when a tech came back a couple days later, they found a break in our line due to root invasion from a large silver maple tree in our front yard. They gave us a price to repair the break (after the tree is removed) and everything has been very simple so far.

I'm extremely disappointed in how they handled my belongings and then overcharge for mishandling my belongings. Examples putting shot glasses with books, putting glass vase on concrete, heavy jugs on fragile glass. I ended up moving a lot of my own belongings in the process just for them to overcharge. I will give it to them they are really fake nice. The clean up work was done. Through the process 10 people came to my home. That's excessive. I also didn't appreciate being told what to do in my home like it was a problem for me to watch. I pray never to be in this situation again but if I am I would not use this company.

Once the technician got here he identified what part of the plumbing was the cause of my sewer line back up really quite quickly again. I was very impressed. He took the necessary steps from that point forward to unclog my main pipeline on Christmas day of all days. it took him less than 3 hours and cautioned me it could take that much time or longer. I was very. happy it only took a half an hour. And very nice of the plumber to show up at my place within 30 minutes after my phone call. I am still waiting on the camera technician to followup and happy to know they review the plumbers work making sure the camera identifies the line was completely clean by the technician. and if there are any other issues needing taken care of to prevent this problem in the future. Now to find a plumbing chemical that dissolves tree roots and utilize it every so often or once a year!

I'd like to say thank you for the prompt service. We called at 9:30am and a technician was at our house by 11:30am. Our 1 year old had just gone down for a nap when your technician, Tony Rogers (Tech 3595), arrived. He was so gracious about being extra quiet while he did his job to unclog our kitchen sink. Our house is tiny, so that is no easy feat! Tony was so nice and quickly got the job done. We really appreciated how thorough he was and will be specifically requesting him in the future. I needed a snake with a camera on it in order to really see what the problem was- I had a technician at my house within 3 hours- he did a super job in a very timely way and also very clearly explained what my options were, and then actually finished the work so quickly that he charged me less than his initial estimate. I felt the work was overpriced but we didn’t have a choice to take the time to shop around since we had a water leak. The technicians didn’t put my garage back the way it was when they arrived, and they ruined a shoe in the garage by running over it with the lawn mower when they moved the mower. Positives were that they were friendly and the work was done quickly.

I called this company with a clogged kitchen drain and water leaking due to the drain clog at 6:40pm.and received a 4hr window. At 8:00pm received a call from customer service to advise that the tech was running late and would arrive within the hr. Received a call at approximately 10pm to advise that they would not make it and I could reschedule for the next day. I wasted 4hrs of time critical time believing that Roto Rooter was going to arrive. They advertise as a 24hr service but don’t operate as 24hr service. I am very disappointed in my conversation with customer service as they basically said tomorrow or nothing. I chose nothing! I’ll call someone else and never call this company again!!!

Chris #0368 was our plumber for the day. I have nothing but great things to say about him! Very friendly and informative. He took the time to explain every question I had. He makes sure he never skips a step and that everything is done PERFECTLY! He does the work right the first time which is nice for a change. :) He double and even triple checks all of his work. Sean did an excellent job of explaining the issues. Long was cleared by the time he arrived but we discussed how to prevent it in the future listen to what I had to say and help me understand how to help prevent it in the future.

The 2 stars are because well.. they showed up and the lady who took my phone call to set me up the appointment was a sweetheart. A little bit of info to begin - Buyer of a house that the seller wasn’t able to tell us where our tank is located and hadn’t mentioned any previous issues in the past. (Hmm, I know) See, what’s crazy to me is that I’m FAR from a plumber and have no knowledge especially with a septic system but to cut down on costs it wouldn’t take a genius to dig around a PIPE from Point (A) to Point (B) of which I was told by so called “professional” was approximately 6/7 ft. ( I really don’t mind a little physical labor) and carefully continue to find the blockage. Can anyone tell my how these guys had their camera inside the collapsed tank and not know? That PIPES Point (A) to Point (B) was SIDE (A) to SIDE (B). Yep, dug an ENTIRE tank!!! Not only did I pay $375 for them to use that handy yet, pricey piece of equipment I’m ASSUMING said “professional” doesn’t know much about, he actually told me an entire story about how the pipe he was in was orangeburg pipe and was SO OLD it was started to rot out and peel like paper. HE WAS IN A RUSTED TANK! Now, I don’t have any problem paying an ACTUAL professional plumber the amount asked...in my opinion plumbers have one of the worst jobs and you couldn’t pay me enough BUT to charge me almost $400 for not even an hours worth of work (if that’s what you want to call it) and NOT know what your doing!?UPDATE- Within 24hrs of writing this review I have received a call from this company with an apology and the gentleman I spoke with insisted on sending every penny back to me. This was not at all my intention as I was simply irritated and trying to learn how it all went wrong but they went above and beyond to try to fix any mistake on their part and for this I can rate them at 4 stars easily. Although mistakes were made and I there were misunderstandings, they have done as much as possible to make things right and truly to do care about their customers service. Next time I’ll take the time to call first instead of jumping to leave a bad review!!

What a time to have a Sewer Drainage Problem: right in the middle of a World Wide Covid-19 Pandemic! I contacted four Plumbing Services. The first referred me to a second Plumber that took my residential location and nature of my problem, but no one showed up. I called a third Plumbing Service and the same thing happened, no one showed up!By this time my Slow Drainage Problem was quickly to becoming a No Drainage Problem! So I decided to contact Roto Rooter online, and I set up an appointment for the next day Friday between 12:00 and 5:00 and guess what, nobody showed. on Saturday morning I called Roto Rooter and set up another appointment for the following Monday between 12:00 and 1:00 and guess what: at 1:07 a real live Roto Rooter Plumber (Richard) wearing a face mask was ringing my doorbell, it was music to my ears!Richard introduced himself, made a Thorough & Correct Assessment of my Plumbing Problem. He then solved my Drainage Problem in a Highly Competent and Professional Manner. Richard is a credit to his Profession, and I would recommend him to anyone Without Reservation!Fran, Lawrence, KS

My garbage disposal was not draining this morning so I called Roto-Rooter, and within one hour a technician was at my house fixing the problem. Keith was upfront about the cost and even suggested sites where i could find a coupon for the labor cost. He diagnosed and fixed the problem extremely fast and was friendly, courteous and informative throughout the experience. I will be using Roto-Rooter for any plumbing issues in the future. Back in April of 2022 roto rooter was called to do water clean up and restoration. They also found mold not caused by this. I told them to not to do anything with the mold as insurance would not cover it . They informed me they do this all the time. They knew they were giving me lies and did not care. Guess what 12,000 estimated magically tured into 40,000. They did not document items that got disposed of, lied about time spent in home, And took advantage of a first time homeowner with lies of insurance will 100% cover all cost. They stopped taking my calls and emails and now they are taking me to court and trying to garnish my wages. They were trying to get me to lie to the insurance company about the mold. They are nothing but scam artists and theifs.

He was extremely professional and gave us advice on certain lingering problems with our sink (low pressure and garbage disposal brands). Great service, although he wanted to charge me $2,000 to replace my water heater. After I did my research I found that was almost double the price if I just bought a water heater myself and had someone come install it. I called a couple companies and they told me they would charge me between 600 - 700 to install it. A brand new gas water heater costs about $400. Great service, but definitely not the best price you can get out there.

Called in the morning and by 5:30 that evening they had come out and fixed issues with both of my toilets and found a small leak under the sink which was also fixed. Was impressed with courtesy of employee and quality of work. Will definitely recommend to everyone.

RotoRooter has been the only plumbing service we have used that’s been readily available in the evenings or on weekends when an emergency happens. Our most recent serviceman, Keith, was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

I cannot recommend Roto-Rooter and I will never be calling them again. The short version of the story is their proposed fix was to install a new exterior main line clean-out for $5500. I said no, went to the hardware store and bought a $40 drain auger, and cleaned out my on main line by running it through the pipe underneath the sink closest to where the main line exits my house. My problem is solved, no thanks to Roto-Rooter. Here is the longer version of the story: I scheduled an appointment for service due to having a main line clog. Waste water was backing up in the shower and tub on the first floor of my home. Toilets were gurgling, and nothing was flowing into the septic tank (which is not over-full yet). My home is less than 5 years old and there have been no previous problems. A technician came out, looked at my plumbing layout, listened to me explain the symptoms, and decided there was nothing he could do. Our only main-line cleanout access is within a finished area of our basement and he wouldn't touch it. So, he called a supervisor without trying anything else. 4 hours later, a field supervisor (Drew Clark) arrived. Again he did a walk around, made no attempts to do anything, and concluded that the only thing he could do was have his team dig up our main line an install an exterior cleanout pipe for $5500. I said no. I didn't call Roto-Rooter because I don't know anything about plumbing. I called them because I wanted to free up my day for work and family activities. So, they lost my business forever. Instead, I used $40 drain auger, ran it through the pipe underneat the sink closest to to where the main line exits the house, navigated the auger into the main line, and after 3 hours of augering---cleared my system. Waste-water flows freely into my septic tank. Problem solved. I'm highly irriated that these plumbing professionals didn't even bother to try anything before defaulting to a $5500 solution. Don't trust them.

I called today and was told someone would be out between 2 PM and 6 PM. At 2:04 PM, I received a text message that someone was on the way. (I was told over the phone that I would get a text 30 mins out).A few mins after 3:00 PM, I called to check to see where the technician was and was told he was stuck behind an accident on the highway.Now it’s nearly 3 Hours later and still no technician and no communication from the company.If I could have given zero stars, I would have.

I called them up in the a.m. and they came out within 2 hours and opened up the main sewer drain. It was hard work as I was right there watching the hole time. They told me what they was doing step by step so I could let my grandparents know what was going on. Very friendly guys. The guy I got was Dwayne and his Tech # is 3453 if you can get him do it

Roto-Rooter has great customer service. Used them over the winter when pipes froze and recently when sump pump broke. Both times where emergency calls and they were out very fast and fixed my problems. I will continue to use them in the future.

I have a 1950s sink and recently the handles quite turning. I wasn't sure what kind of issue I was getting my self into with having it fixed, but knew I wanted to keep the sink because it was original to my house and it was a part of the matching set in one of my bathrooms. I called RotoRooter They sent out Dave (Tech #0393) In the beginning he was unsure of what we were getting into also. Said the best thing to do was temporarily replace the sink so that he could take the 50's sink apart. So I took a few days and found a used cheap sink, during those days Dave did research which I am sure was done on his own time. He found my exact sink and videos on how to take it apart and all the information he needed. He came back and temporarily replaced my 50's sink and took the handles to find the replacement pieces because I didn't really want to order the replacements online for $225 each!! After a few more days, in which he kept me informed, he was able to find the replacements in Kansas City for only $50 for the set. The original set of handles which I didn't previously have. He came back and replaced my handles, then re-installed the 50's sink. SO that was a total of 3 times He had to come to my house and an unknown amount of hours that he spend researching and finding the replacements. I ended up paying $350 for everything including all labor and all parts. That to me was cheap considering It could have been close to that just to buy one handle.He was a great technician and did a great job. I would recommend him. I will remember his tech # in order to request him for future jobs that need to be done.

I've used Roto-Rooter twice now and they are super convenient on time frames. I've never had a plumbing emergency during business hours. They came out the next day early in the morning (Sunday). They called before they came, Tony (tech 3595) was right on time. He answered all my questions, he was very personable. He fixed my floor drain quickly and explained the entire process to me. He took time to make sure it was working well and I was very comfortable with him working on the problem. Tony was very diligent in cleaning up after himself and he treated my home with respect. I appreciated the professionalism from start to finish.

Keith was a true professional. I have never had such a together, kind, helpful, and caring tech come out to help with these types of services. They were quick to come out and address a backed-up main line. Dwayne was very professional and kept me updated on their progress as they worked.Adam ran a camera in the sewer line and personally showed me where the line was cracked and had tree roots growing in and put together a thorough proposal to fix it.I would have liked to have been asked if I was okay with someone additional from the restoration department coming out to assess any potential damage given the back-up was mild, but he wasn't pushy. Cost was higher than I expected, but it was quick and professional service.

UPDATE: I was contacted by Don Scrapelli who wanted to earn my trust and business back. I really appreciate the concern and the resolution he offered. I had already contacted someone else to do the work as with this situation time was of the essence of getting our sewer line back open. Our deposit was refunded and Don offered me to contact him again if we found our issue does not get resolved to my satisfaction with the other company. Very much appreciate the response and offer of resolution.We have a rental property that has sewage backup in the basement. The first guy that came out was a nice young man who said it appeared we have a collapsed sewer line and the next morning someone would be out with a camera to scope out where the break is. Nick, the field specialist came out and had the camera ran through the line. He determined where the break was, on a neighboring property, he marked it and gave a bid of $4950 to dig it up and repair the line. The next day the contractors were out digging the neighboring property. They dug 12' down, and no sewer line! We had the city out to help determine where our sewer line actually is. They were able to mark it on our property not the neighbors! When I called Nick to tell him the city had properly located the sewer line, he gave us a new price to do the very same thing they were supposed to do on the original quote but the price went up to $6500! He gave no reason for this unreasonable price increase for the same work they were supposed to do in the first place. Needless to say, we asked for our $2500 deposit refunded! We will never use Roto-Rooter and I have already told all my co-workers about this terrible experience we have had! I do not recommend Roto-Rooter!

Dispatch was quick but they tried to charge me $300+ at first for the 1 drain line. Ummm. No thanks.I paid $175. Was supposed to have pictures sent to me after the drain was clean of the debris. Then, he said his manager was to visit that evening to scope the line. None of which occurred.What does everyone else pay for one drain line to be cleaned? I’ll go with a different company next time to experiment and see how it goes.

The first company we tried told us they would probably break our toilet in the process of fixing things where as your company did it with no damage to anything. Had a main line clog. Called rooter rooter to come out and tried using the snake first. That’s where Dwayne came in and explained everything to me and tried for a while to get it unclogged. Then the next option was the water jet and that’s where Jim came in. After getting everything set up and explaining to me what he was doing he worked the issue and believes it’s been cleared. Both of these guys took the time to explain stuff to me and how things worked. They also took the time to tell me what’s next if this doesn’t work. I can’t thank them enough for coming out so quickly. Very professional and cleaned up after themselves which is a definite plus.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience. I called at 4:45pm on a Thursday and dispatch (Annette) said they would have someone at my place by 8pm. And hour later I got a call that my tech was on the way. Then shows up AMBER!! She as so amazingly kind, professional and thoughtful. She diagnosed my issue immediately and educated me on the misconception of putting lemons down the drain which appears to be the root cause of my issue. Fast forward to the conclusion of the appointment and I am convinced Amber is my new best friend. It was seriously the best sewer related experience I have ever had. I hope to never call them back with my new lemonless disposable knowledge but if I do I will call and ask for Amber for sure! 10 Stars would be on this rating if it allowed for it!

Michael was able to get to our house quickly on a Sunday and was then able cable the drain line and get it unclogged quickly and efficiently. He also gave some good advice to keep it clean in a nice and friendly way.

We had a problem that had been bothering us for years. We contacted roto-rooter and they sent out technician Dave S. He contacted us shortly before arriving and did a complete and thorough job. He explained what he did. The work was done professionally and completely. Dave is a very personable and nice person, I would have no problem in calling him again for service assistance.

We had some major issues with our plumbing, nothing draining down toilets and water coming up in our shower, just out of the blue one evening. Called them first in the am and they were out there within 2 hours---GREAT!! The first technician that came out worked for his money---we were clean from our cleanout to the city street. However, he had problems with the cleanout getting back into our house. He WAS able to finally get his snake back into our house and clean us out so water was running again and we could use our toilets. BUT, we had to have another technician come out to see why he had so many problems with a camera. His name was Adam, very professional, quick and diagnosed that we had a pipe break just from our foundation to the cleanout just outside our home. Next day, here comes Bobby in the afternoon, by himself as his partner called out and so he started to dig up around the cleanout to fix our issue. YEP, main drain from our home had broken under ground due to the way the builder built our home of 4 and 1/2 years old. Bobby worked till after dark to get us up and running so we didn't have to wait another day. All technicians were friendly, professional, courteous and you could tell they truly enjoyed what they do with your company. Thank You all for the work you do and the manner in which you do it.

I was highly impressed with how quickly I was able to get a service person to come to our house to fix our clogged kitchen drain. He didn't just settle for running a plumber's snake through but, went the extra mile to thoroughly clean the entire length of drain pipe extending into the basement and was able to pull out a massive clog of grease and egg shells. What started as a one hour job extended to over 2 hours. Brandon did not complain but kept at it until he was satisfied that the job was completely done. My toilet was leaking at the base but otherwise worked fine. It was almost $600 to repair the leak. While repairing the leak they broke something in the tank and now it won't flush. They said they could repair it but it would be another $400, even though they broke it!! I found the part they broke for 20 dollars but have to replace it myself. I won't be using roto rooter again!

These guys are awesome. Everyone was so professional and so prompt to help us during our plumbing issues. We had overflow that caused sewage to get into our home via a basement toilet. It got in the carpet, the wall, and the garage. Richard with the excavation folks took the time to camera my outside pipe and show me in detail what had happened. He was also great at helping and explaining the process that eventually led us to get our outside pipe replaced by his crew (they were awesome, too!). Tony and his restoration team were super helpful in eliminating the sewage and cleaning up our carpet and walls, while explaining the next steps. The lady who answered the phone told me scheduling was great and someone would be giving me a call soon to let me know there on the way. There was a shutoff failure on one of my upstairs toilets and when it was all said and done, my bathroom flooring and the ceiling in my living room under it were damaged. They came the same day - a Saturday, nonetheless - and fixed the toilet. They were there bright and early the next morning (Sunday) to fix what was damaged. Absolutely amazing service. Spent all day trying to find someone to come and help with our backup and no one had openings for days. The sink had overflowed and was causing water damage to the surrounding area so I was starting to get frantic. Roto-Rooter had someone to us in under an hour and he spent extra time to make sure it was fixed right and has us set up for a camera inspection of the line and people to help with the water damage. Can not say good enough things. Went above and beyond!

I had another company come out first, it was a late night weekend call, the other company said they couldn’t get through whatever they hit. They sent a camera down and showed me it was roots. The other company said they would have to dig up the driveway that they couldn’t get through the roots. I decided to try another company to see if they could get through the roots, so i called Roto-Rooter. Brady (3089) came out, told him the situation, he said oh yeah no problem, he got right to work and took care of the problem in half the time the other company was here. He was professional and answered all my questions. I will recommend root-rooter to anyone that asks.

I had a emergency this past weekend in which my basement was flooded due to my water main pipe to my home burst. Unfortunately after 5 scheduled appointments made and broken I'm sure due to high volume of other similar situations I at first wasn't too happy. Fortunately service man Curtis Tech#653 came, assessed my situation and returned within the hour to do the job on the forth day. Curtis was perfessional and kind and did great work. Also disbacture Carl and other supervisors gave me a 25% discount for my inconvenience and was there was no push back from them in receiving the discount. I would recommend Curtis #653 and Rotor Rooter in the future. I just hope for them they can clean up and confusion or communication between the service man and myself the customer. The technician was less than satisfactory. Was not professional! Had no uniform did NOT follow ANY COVID protocol as outlined on website! Brad #1184 responded to my home and I had several plumbing issues that needed to be addressed. He worked non stop for 3 hours and answered my questions(which were many by the way) kindly and professionally. He worked until each issue was corrected even though it was almost 10pm. I am very pleased with his service and expertise.

My basement floor drain backed up on the late afternoon of the 3rd of July. I called Roto Rooter and they were working in the basement a couple of hours later. The technician was friendly, informative, and very helpful. He let me know that they charge the same price, no matter when they get called out, even if it is overnight or on a holiday. They have people on call 24/7 waiting to solve my problems. I will definitely use them in the future!

Had a gas leak city inspection. Done the guy was super nice but charged me $367 for leak test and when he co.es back Monday charging me $230 more for 45 minutes worth of work this is crazy gonna report to action 4 news all I needed was gas back on after being off for a few years due to health issues

Being the big company I expected a big price. We had a small time plumber coming to do some work, but he no call no showed. Absolutely AWFUL experience. Truly deserves -10 stars. I scheduled first thing in the morning for service promised between the hours of 4-8 PM. My husband took off work to make sure someone was home all four hours. Roto promises they will call 30 minutes before arrival. Fast forward to 7:30 PM-still no call. My husband calls them to see if someone is still coming? They say they are going to have to push service to sometime between 10 PM and midnight. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Not to mention, we called them. They did not bother to call us. Would they have even told us if we hadn't called? I have to go to work and I cannot stay up all night to wait for an unreliable plumber to (maybe) show up. This is absolutely the worst service I have ever gotten anywhere.

Our service technician Brandon was great and took care of our problem perfectly. Very curious and professional! Only 4 stars this time because they estimated the time of arrival wrong but I work from home so this wasn't that big of an issue for me.

Came to change water heater. Had him change the pressure valve also. When the water was finally turned back on the kitchen faucet got clogged. He said if we purchased a new faucet he would come back and install it for $300.00! Are you kidding me? We have to purchase a new faucet that is only 3 years old and then get charged $300.00 for him to install it???. No!!! As it turns out all said and done it cost us over $3500.00 without the kitchen faucet. That is crazy. The national average is less than $2000.00.We will never call them again. Just because prices have gone up doesn't mean you should be price gouging.

Shane was called out by my apartment complex and he was super respectful. He made sure to return everything in my bathroom to it's initial spot, he tried various things and ensured that everything was all clear before he left. He also flushed the toilet a few times for me to make sure it was cool.

We had a clogged kitchen sink on a Sunday morning. Roto Rooter told us someone would be at our house from 2:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon, but Justin (700) actually arrived a little before 2:00. He was quick to get the job done, but still thorough. He was also very personable yet professional. It was a relatively painless fix to an otherwise annoying problem.

I was frustrated with the timeliness. I called at 1130 on a Monday and they gave me a window of 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The dispatcher called at 3:10 p.m. and said they were running a little behind and that they would still get there that day. I had to call at 4:58 p.m. to verify that they were still coming and they assured me that they would be there shortly. I finally called at 7:15 p.m. and had to schedule for the following morning because I have an infant and needed to not have people working on my drain at 8 o'clock at night.They arrived at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday (after being scheduled for a 9-1 window). Steven (#1218) was extremely knowledgeable, polite and took time to explain the problem, the solution, and how to prevent it in the future. He was extremely patient with me and my questions. So, overall I am extremely satisfied with the service of Steven. But, the whole process of being scheduled and waiting around for hours without getting updates was frustrating and why I gave it 3 stars. I completely understand that it is difficult to tell how long a job will take but ensuring that you aren't keeping people waiting around for 8 hours without keeping them updated is unprofessional and inconvenient.

We have used them over the years to clear out tree roots in our main sewer line. The last time they cleared it out, the rooter cable got stuck and broke off in our line. We were a bit frustrated to learn that we would be responsible for getting the cable out and for excavation costs.We were able to negotiate a new line replacement at a discount, and they finished the job very promptly.Overall we are satisfied with the professionalism and experience of Roto Rooter, and we shouldn’t have any more issues moving forward.

The main sewer line in my house was backed up, and Michael came out to help me. It took a long time due to some technical difficulties, none being his fault, and he ended up fixing the clog. He was very nice, and was patient with my full grown puppy, who has a tendency to jump.

Jason was very professional, friendly, and explained our plumbing issues in detail. After many failures on my home warranty’s part, I chose to go a different route and I do not regret picking Roto Rooter to service our home.

They were all very respectful. I felt valued as a customer and as a person. I was impressed that they respected my time and schedule. I was very pleased with how well they cleaned up and how they made me feel at ease after a scary experience. I feel like they went above and beyond to help me out with my issues. I also shared issues that had been going on in my household with losing my dog a couple of days before and all of these men listened to my problems and sympathized with me and that really meant a lot to me. Thank you so much to these 4 gentlemen.

Guys did a really good job, and we're friendly. Hate the text to confirm appointment system. Text messages come in late with me sometimes, which can come in after the 3 minute expiration time limit. The guys walked through the issue they encountered well and answered all of my questions without a problem. A bit more in price than I was expecting, but I'm able to use my water again.

Keith was amazing. Not only did he solve our issue. He took his time to explain Everything in detail about why our sinks were clogging and offered solutions for future maintenance. He was awesome and I will
never call anyone else for plumbing issues.

My five-stars are for Jim, not Roto. Jim did a great job and made an otherwise terrible experience right! After a day long delay and no sign of a plumber yesterday, despite having made the appointment for a late afternoon window very early in the morning, Jim arrived first thing today. Jim was professional, diagnosed the issue and was empathetic to my frustration with the previous day’s experience. I SPECIFICALLY GIVE JIM A FIVE STAR REVIEW. The company overall was disappointing.

I called at 4pm, with an emergency. They agreed to come out and gave me a window of 6pm to 10pm to show up. I waited all night, and nobody showed up. I called in to see what time the person would be here; and dispatch tried to tell me they called me many times; which was a lie. Nobody called me; no missed call; no voicemail; no text. They actually lied, just so they could reschedule it. I called again, and they were all laughing and playing games; it was the most pathetic, and most unprofessional scene as of yet. This place is an absolute joke.

Very professional! I had a main line clog and R'Cittio #447 came out within an hour of me calling them on a Saturday morning. The technician came in the house, had covers over his shoes already when I opened the door, seen the problem downstairs, told me how much it would cost and what exactly would be included with the price of 379. Had it clean within an hour and ran the camera and showed me exactly what caused the clog. I have another technician coming out on Tuesday to map the line and show me more about the roots near my line, all included for the price. Very satisfied! They are not the cheapest but they are the very best for the job!

We had a great experience with Roto-rooter. From the phone call to request service (the gentleman who answered was very kind and was able to get a technician out to the house right away...and it was a Sunday). The technician they sent, Fred Milton was extremely kind and very helpful. He went above and beyond to repair our leaking Kitchen sink. He even went as far as going up to Home Depot to purchase a replacement faucet for us! I would recommend asking for Fred if you ever need any assistance from Roto-Rooter!

The promptness was great, but I was certainly overcharged and taken advantage of financially. I paid $400 for a one-hour fix that I later found out was not invasive or severe. I received this update from 2 other plumbers and also my father.

Although the main line clearing was more expensive than most competitors, it was done in a professional and quick manner. The work is guaranteed. Mike had came out and quickly found the issue and fixed it within an hour. He went above and beyond when the toilet was still clogged and started plunging it! Very nice and professional.

Called Roto Rooter to clear clogged main sewer line. The tech (Kevin) was knowledgeable, very friendly and professional. He was able to get the blockage removed in a timely manner.( I was told on the phone the tech would arrive between 3-5pm, he got to my house at 7pm. The poor scheduling from the call center and subsequent late arrival is the only reason for them not receiving a 5 star review. )

The serviceman showed up within the time promised. He laid a cloth down to protect my carpet when bringing the machine in and he got right to work. It took him less than an hour and he was on his way.

Steven, 1218, very communicative and efficient. I called and he arrived within about 30 minutes of my service request. He investigated the situation and walked me through some options. The entire time Steven gave necessary advice in a caring way. He snaked an old tough kitchen sewer drain that looked as if it was filled with black tar. He did a great job and happy he was able to clear the drain. He talked with me about sewer line maintenance and using Roto-Rooter Pipe Shield to protect the brittle pipe line. I took his advice and have started regular use of Pipe Shield protection. Overall this event was a good experience.

I had Larry come to the house. He was very nice and professional. He explained what was going on with my sink, let me know what the cost would be upfront, and pointed out another issue I had (and gave me the option to take care of it now or not). Corey was our service provider this evening. He was wonderful. Answered all of my questions and very patient with our energetic puppy and gave the best pets (per the pup). He was excellent!

Had a technician come out to conduct a main drain clearing. They wanted to charge $380, and I mentioned that we have had it cleared previously by other companies for less than $80. I apologized for the call out, but could not justify spending that much money for a drain clearing. He was preparing to leave, when I asked if I owed him anything for the call out and the technician then stated “he can’t just come out to a house and not get paid” even though he had been there less than 5 minutes and no work had been done. He said I had to pay $180 for the call out but after I stated it seemed like he only wanted to charge me after I mentioned the call out he said he could lower it to $25. I once again asked if he was just charging me because I mentioned the call out and he just muttered a “mmm-hmm” and when I said that seemed unprofessional he just left. Very unprofessional and rude service and outrageous prices. P.S I called customer service who stated estimates are free and we shouldn’t be charged if no work had occurred.

We needed to have a toilet and sink removed and then replaced while we had new tile laid. We had two different individuals and both did their job with professionalism. We were a little shocked at the cost to have this done but that does not reflect on the job that they both did!

He completed the work quickly and was extremely respectful of the property. My tech was excellent. We had some previous issues getting scheduling done, but once Nick came out he was as professional as one could be. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it (we had a leaky drain, needed a new shoe installation). He even went the extra mile to help me get an access hatch setup for quick future access. Would be 5 stars if we didn't have the scheduling issues.

The service from the two technicians was excellent. But it should not have taken until 11 hours later than the projected time to get someone there. By then I had sewage flowing onto the floor that wouldn't have happened had they come when they first said they would. They told me the job in front of me ran long, which I totally understand. But then I was told that the technicians were immediately sent to an emergency situation at a Walmart instead of to my home. I'm sorry, but I think my home is every bit as important as Walmart and I should not have had my service bumped back from 8pm to 9:10am the next morning like this.

The gentleman, Chris, that came to try to fix the sewer problem was awesome. He worked hard for 2.5 hours. He talked with my landlord and son-in-law and myself explaining the problem in detail. He represented Roto Rooter with utmost professionalismJob well done.

We were quoted $390.00 to snake a 20/30 ft. sewer line. The technician did go down but had I not known that was way over priced, I would have over paid significantly. It definitely made me lose trust.

After several days of trying to unclog our bathroom sink I called Roto Rooter. They had a technician here within 2 hours. The technician, Dave (tech #0393) was so friendly. He explained the procedure and began working. He had it fixed within minutes! He cleaned up the area and explained ongoing maintenance. I was very pleased with his service and would call again!

Just terrible! I normally do not write reviews, but the service with this company was so bad that I felt an obligation to do so.We contacted Roto-Rotor because we had some water pooling in the front of our house and thought that it was the result of some clogged irrigation pipes. We were not sure if they would handle that sort of issue, but thought it would be worth a try. An appointment was scheduled and Scott (tech #0163) came (albeit late) to provide us with a quote. We decided to have R-R come back out and scheduled a second appointment. That's when things went south...The original appointment was scheduled for Memorial Day. Honestly, we were surprised that they were performing work on a holiday, but didn't think much more about it. Just prior to our appointment, R-R called and told us that Scott would not be able to make it. We were a little annoyed, but figured that it had to do with the holiday. So we scheduled a second appointment for today (6/7). R-R gave us a four-hour window and I was able to get the time off of work.Just prior to noon (the start of the window), R-R called and said that they were on their way. Great! They called a few minutes later and asked what exactly they were coming out there to do. Not a good sign. We explained that Scott was coming to address our irrigation issue. They then said that R-R does would not do that unless we were planning to put in a new sump pump (our sump pump drained into the irrigation piping) at a cost of $4000!!! We said the sump is working fine and we just needed to have the irrigation issue addressed. R-R then said that they were not interested in the job and were not coming out.I am beyond disappointed in R-R's lack of customer service and communication skills. It is also upsetting that they care so little about their customer's time.Roto-Rooter is by far one of the worst companies I had the displeasure of dealing with.Edit: An employee contacted my wife to apologize. He informed me that the work that we were requesting was not handled by them and that we needed to contact a landscaper. While I appreciate the apologize, I still would not recommend.

We had a clogged kitchen drain that turned out to be a clog in the line thatwent out to the main line. Our tech #3568, Chris, was the right man forwhat turned out to be a difficult job. It took longer than he was expecting,but his expertise, personality, and patience made for a good outcome. Ourdrain is clear and Chris made sure everything was right and our home cleaned up before he left.

Garrett (358) arrived within 45 minutes of the call. He quickly diagnosed the problem, did the work, was very pleasant and courteous and was in his way. He shared very good information on maintaining our plumbing. We were very pleased with his work.

We had plumbing issues in our basement and our landlord called ROTO-ROOTER and they were quick to respond. Chris Ladesie showed up at the time he communicated and was very professional. He explained what he was doing the whole time and kept checking in with updates on the plumbing repairs. Overall it was a timely fixture and we haven’t had any issues since. We had a problem with the main line backing up downstairs in the basement so we had them send somebody out to snake the line. The technician that came out (Noah) was very professional and very respectful and courteous. He was very quick and the entire process was painless and hassle free. Overall, through my experience(s) I’d recommend this company to anybody. Especially if the rest of their employees are anything like Noah.

My service window was schedule between 8 am and 10 am. 10 am rolls around no call, no email, no text, nothing. I end up having to call on my end to get an ETA as I had not heard anything from Roto-Rooter. They simply state that they are running behind and the technician will be out my way in about an hour. About an hour and a half later I receive a call from the technician that they will be at my house in thirty minutes. My complaint in all this is customer service. If the window timeframe I selected can't be met I expect some sort of communication to confirm the later time works, an apology or something. Not the customer having to call back. With that said the technician did a fine job.

We had a main drain backup that was caught early afternoon yesterday. I was supposed to have another company come out, and they were not very responsive. I called Roto rooter, and being new year’s day, i was extra nervous that i would have to wait until sunday or monday for someone to show up. I was overly thrilled and excited that when they said they would be able to show up today. The tech was amazing! He was polite and considerate of doing everything that was needed.

My first time using Roto-Rooter and I am happy to say that I am beyond pleased with my service. Keith #3519 provided me with the best customer service I have received in a very long time he was prompt professional and explained everything in detail before and while doing the service. I am a Roto-Rooter customer for life now as long as Keith is my service tech lol, the world needs more customer service like this from people who actually love and respect what they do.

I was given a quote of 390.00 for replacing an outdoor pipe and spigot. I was told that was for any parts, labor. When the job was done the pipe they attached to was about 4” from the wall. The previous was flush. You can tell the pipe doesn’t look professional. When they were done he told me the bill was now 457.56. He claimed he told me parts were not included. I expected 390.00. I will never use them again. Teach your people to be up front right at the beginning. If I knew it was going to go up like that, I wouldn’t have gotten bids.

Stephen came out within an hour of calling, quickly identified our issue and planned to do the work the next day. He worked with us as far as even talking to our lot owners and explaining to them that it was not our fault for the clogged sewer line saving us an extremely hefty sum of money. He was very nice, took time to explain everything, and worked with us, as well as getting the job done the next morning very quickly.

Asked this company to check a clogged main drain. Unable to clear clog, located obstruction and verbally quoted sectional dig repair. No issues up to here, but then the field supervisor Dan Brune told me he'd send a written quote in 15-30 mins. Nearly a day later, no quote, in inbox or spam folder. I would not recommend this company.

After a Saturday flood in my laundry room due to an unknown clog in my drain pipe (tree roots!), Roto Rooter was the only company that answered on a weekend and scheduled a time to come the next day (Sunday). Richard, my technician, was prompt, polite, explained the issue and took care of it in about an hour. Love the text updates on timing. I will definitely use their service again (no other business ever called back), and I am thrilled they offered weekend service or else I would still be without water! Very thankful!

We had an appointment scheduled two days out for a time window of 12-4pm. We were told we would be called when a plumber was on their way to our house. At 6:30 pm I called to find the ETA of the plumber, and I was initially hung up on. I called back, was put on hold, and told the dispatcher was busy. While I understand jobs can take longer than expected, I feel we received very poor customer service.

I just want to say my experience with them was a very pleasant one considering the subject matter. I ended up having 3 different employees come within in a 2 day period. Each helpful and sincere. One gave me knowledge of a coupon, one gave me understanding of the problem and didn’t charge for what he wasn’t able to do and even brought out the 3rd person that used a camera and helped me contact the city. This guy even came back out between his schedule to meet a city inspector to help prove it was the cities responsibility. The cost for those three was one price on the last day and so extremely reasonable. I figured a big company like them would be very expensive and try to add this and that, but they weren’t. I purchased three toilets from a home improvement store. Called Roto-Rooter to get an estimate to install the toilets. They sent Curtis (653) out bright and early the next morning. Curtis gave me an estimate and scheduled the installation. Overall, the service was excellent. Would hire them again.

Would give zero stars if I could! Called at 7pm, was told someone would be dispatched w/in 2 hours and they'd text me when he was on the way. After 2 hours without a peep, I called back & was told a dispatcher would call me. 20 minutes later, they called & said no one could make until tomorrow because their guy was EXCAVATING and wouldn't be done until 1:30 in the morning. When I stated they should have told me that when I called, they said they couldn't tell me at that time because of client confidentiality, but they could tell me 2 and a half hours later? They just wanted to keep me on the hook until it was too late to call someone else. What a scam. No integrity, no consideration for the customer, no class. DO NOT USE!!

Im really glad I decided to go with Roto Rooter on work done on my rental. I had a couple other bids that came in a bit cheaper but you definitely get what you pay for. These guys do top notch work. It never felt like they were just trying to get in & out & leave with all my money . They kept me informed & updated with the complete process. Even though my pockets are lighter Im sitting here with a sense of peace & a smile on my face knowing my tennants are happy. Two friendly technicians (Nick and Tom) came to my house quickly, within a few hours of my call. They worked fast to fix the problem and were very careful to keep my house as clean as possible. The parts were a little pricey compared to online price though.

I take care of an elderly woman who is in the middle of cancer treatments and over the weekend she had a water leak in her upstairs bathroom that flooded the kitchen below. I did what I could with the tub faucet (it was leaking out behind the wall)and called for plumbing help on Monday and thought it should go smoothly. Well the repairman had no information about what I needed done when he arrived at her home even after I gave a full description to the gentleman who took the appointment call. She was confused and slightly upset because she thought I had everything set up for him to just come in and fix the things that I had requested and turn on the water. She called me at work and I had to explain to the him directly what I needed. Then after talking to me he told her that he thought the job was to risky and that he might damage the tile in the bathroom so he really didn't want to make the necessary repairs. He seemed more worried about the cost of the repairs which I am grateful for because she lives on a very limited amount of money but she still needed to be able to turn the water back on and trust that we wouldn't have another flood anytime soon. He finally agreed to put the old tub faucet back together but couldn't guarantee how long it would last because he really couldn't take it apart like it should be because of the damage risk. He did fix a separate issue with her bathroom sink and we were able to turn her water back on so in the end I am hoping everything will work out. I really wanted the bathtub faucets repaired but for now we will just be thankful she has water again and there are no more leaks in the wall. She said he was nice and respectful but suggested if I had to call someone again to choose someone else.

Amazing company, I called them at 6:45 on a Saturday morning, they were here by 9:30, installed the water heater and gone by 1:00. They cleaned up, were very professional. I would recommend them and will use them again.

Technician was super nice! The Appproblem was he was not very knowledgeable. Come to find out, the ball that was in my drain is a return valve and he told me it was just a ball stuck in there. Luckily I didn't have him go ahead and use the rotortor, we just left it as it is since everything was draining OK.

I called Roto Rooter late afternoon on a Friday, they informed me that they would have a technician at my house in 45 minutes to 1 hour. I don't think it was barely 20 minutes and their technician was here. Keith was very professional, knowledgeable, and had my issue fixed in a short time. The prices were great and a six month warranty on fixing a clogged drain. I would recommend this company for any plumbing issue.

We had an emergency situtation come up when our main sewer line got a pretty bad clog in it and caused our laundry room, crawl space, and downstairs bathroom to flood. Jason, Dan, and Justin were patient and knowledgeable on the issue and worked diligently to get the clog out. When that was completed, they were there to answer any questions and make sure water was running thru the house okay. After the chaos of this issue and the great experience we had using Roto-Rooter, they will be the first on our list to call if anything ever comes up again!

I made an appointment for between 11AM and 1PM, and I was told that I would be contacted 30 minutes prior to arrival. With that in mind, I cancelled my plans to go to the lake for that day and made sure to be no where in the city more than 30 minutes away. I made multiple follow-up calls throughout the day, only to be told that I’ll be called when they’re 30 minutes away. Though they were vague regarding my expected wait time, the reps were very polite.Finally, around 8:30PM, a service person showed up. Luckily, the service person, Skyler, was very helpful and polite.I understand if appointments are taking longer than expected, but you’d think that if things were looking to where an appointment would be 7.5 hours delayed, then someone would notify you.Overall, I'll give props for politeness, but I was very frustrated with the scheduling system.

We worked with Larry #301, and he was amazing! The company gave us a 4hr window, and Larry arrived, all smiles and ready to help, within the hour. He was very friendly, and was able to quickly assess our issue. Larry gave us all pricing up front, and provided us some tips about installing our new toilet. We then asked how much to install the toilet also, and he was able to give a revised quote. This was great when you are on a budget, but we mostly appreciated that he was at all times knowledgeable, professional, and kind. We discovered a plumbing issue 7a on Sunday. Most 24/7 plumbers did not answer the phone call or return our message. Roto-Rooter had a secretary who took our information and gave us an arrival window. Our plumber was early, professional and tried the cheapest repair option before moving on to work on the sewer line. He fixed the clog without leaving a mess or damage to our house. Roto-Rooter should have been our first call.

Had a sewer back up occur overnight, called several other companies but Roto-rooter was the most reactive. The first contact, even though it was at a call center, was extremely nice and helpful.They came out within an hour and a half of my call, and Keith was just the best tech! He walked me through all steps of the process and issues that could occur.Everything ended up working out great and he was in and out within 2 hours, and had great conversation during the process, while explaining every step he was taking to fix the back up! We had a great experience. Technician called 2 hours BEFORE our scheduled window to see if we were available - when your entire house is down due to major plumbing issues that is a huge PLUS! Technician was friendly and knew what he was doing.

Scheduled for our sewer line to be rooted. Serviceman was nice but did not meet the requirements of the job. Drain is still clogged. I went out to get a 50 foot hand auger and discovered large clog in our drain that he did not address.

Here's the deal:I started with a frustrating encounter, with a tech never arriving for a call. I swore off the RotoRooter brand and started looking for other service providers.I was, however, contacted by their management and review team and encouraged to give them another chance. I did.This time, my plumber arrived on time and did a truly fantastic job (Garrick #335). He was polite, diligent, capable, and prompt. The job involved multiple lines outside my home, and he took care of business.He did such an excellent job that I decided to amend my initial review on Facebook and submit this subsequent followup.I suppose the nature of the business accounts for occasional late arrivals and missed appointments. Jobs run long and unexpected complications arise. That was irritating the first time around. But their follow up service indicated to me their commitment to their customers and their willingness to make things right, and that goes a long way.

Technician was Outstanding. He diagnosed the problem and then fixed the main problem and since the late time is coming back to fix another issue he found when he did his inspection. While the other issue was not immediately serious he said it would turn serious in the near future. I approved the additional repair. I will use Roto Router from now on for all of my plumbing work. Again the Technician was very professional, knowledgeable and was very capable in making sure my problem was completely fixed.

The reason I gave this 4 stars is that we requested the service yesterday from 6-8pm. The company confirmed the service and stated they would let us know when a tech was headed our way. At around 8pm I decided to call to figure out what was going on. They ended up being super busy and unable to make it which I understand but I just wish someone would of reached out to us.they did come the next morning. Other than that the service was great and the tech that came was super nice and did the job quickly.

A video inspection of my main drain line revealed an underground collapse about 30ft. past my house. Emilio (#3581) clearly explained the situation to me as well as what the solution would entail. Additionally, Emilio alerted me to the possibility that there could be additional damage beyond that point that could not be seen until the known location was exposed. He gave me an exact price for the known situation and a price for the potential situation. Very impressive. As it turned out, the known situation was the complete problem area. Emilio was precise about what I should expect regarding crew arrival time and performance. Again, he was right-on. By the way, the crew performed professionally and on time. Additionally, I was kept informed every step of the way by phone calls from Roto-Rooter letting me know that my appointment was confirmed, a crew was on the way, Emilio was on his way, etc. Top notch, professional service. Oh yeah, and my drains work great now.

The company advertised $100 drain clean. Guy charges my wife $500 for an hour of labor. Huge Scam!

I had a clogged sink with very slow draining and the technician Jason arrived on time and took the time to walk with me through the affected area and explained what could be the problem and what he was going to do to fix the problem. He was very professional and friendly and when he cleared the drain he showed me what the problem was and helped me understand how to maintain my lines. Mr. Jason Forrest and his apprentice (Apologies I don’t have his name written anywhere) were excellent at explaining the technical aspects of the job, pre and post, and answering all of my questions. They were both professional, courteous, personable, and experienced. They respected both the severity of the situation that my family and I were in, our time and our financial concerns. I particularly appreciated when they told me that they were, “off the clock” when they weren’t physically working. Which is not to suggest that they were standing around twiddling their thumbs. They were conscious of my concerns and before they proceeded with anything potentially unnecessary, that might cost me more in repairs, they consulted a partner of theirs with specialty equipment to assess the damage. This was particularly reassuring to me that they weren’t gouging me for money. They were considerate enough to explain as they went along with finding the leak and fixing the problem. They were patient with my questions as well. They were great with my pets, which was reassuring to me, because you never know how animals and strangers are going to interact for the first time. They were respectful of my home and cleaned up after themselves. Lastly, as a nurse, I was pleased to see that Roto-Rooter were taking seriously the present healthcare considerations at hand and promoted masking to protect their plumbers, associates and customers. It’s a small but important consideration that goes a long way. I was hesitant in the beginning to contact such a high-profile business at first. Sometimes big business equates to poor service because as the business grows, the personable aspect can go by the wayside. I was pleased to see this was NOT the case. Based on this experience I would gladly recommend Roto-Rooter’s service to anyone in need. It goes without saying that I hope I never need a plumber again, but if I do, I can count on Jason Forrest and Roto-Rooter to fix the problem. Thanks!

I was very happy that they would come out on a Sat and holiday. I am very grateful for that. I'm so glad that I called the day of the apt since it was getting late because they had a wrong number connected to my apt. Okay, it happens. I did confirm my phone number when I made the apt but mistakes happen. What makes me give the low rating is, once the man showed up, he kept talking to my brother in law who didn't live in the house. I then informed Fred that I was the home owner and if there was anything he needed the home owner to know, he needed to speak to me. He said oh yeah and then let my brother in law know more about what to look for in about my toilet. Now I was without running water for almost 24 hours. I was painting and mowing and doing yard work, so clearly I was a mess. Dirty. When Fred again spoke to the only man in the house (my bother in law) and asked him to turn the water back on, my brother in law said he didn't know where it was. I said of course you don't. It's not your house!. Fred seemed very nice but very odd and the fact that he wouldn't address me, the home owner, was very upsetting. If he has an issue with women, maybe he should only go on calls where a man makes the apt. I found it very rude.

Kevin was the service technician and was very professional and efficient. Had the drain unclogged in 5 minutes. Now the “under side”. Tech was 2 hours late. Not his fault as Roto Rooter schedules out of a Chicago call center. I asked the call center what the charge would be for unclogging a drain and was told each job was different so she could not give me an estimate. When Kevin showed up he quoted me almost $300 and said it was Roto Rooter’s standard charge for unclogging a drain. So the Chicago person knew full well the charge and had I known I would have called another company. So I paid close to $300 and the drain was cleared in 5 minutes. Really unfair pricing and borderline dishonest. There must be a reasonable and honest plumber out there somewhere.

The technician was super helpful and gave a lot of advice. He managed to unclog a grease build up that another plumbing company couldn't get. My house is very old and has a bad plumbing for the drain line with 5 elbows, but he was able to get it fixed. Wish I would've called sooner. They charged me a flat fee and it was a reasonable price, and it also has a 6 month warranty. I was able to schedule them to come out within 3 days.

My father's house sewage pipe leaks for some time now. It was a very difficult job where the pipe is buried and the space to access the pipe was extremely limited. But guys from Roto first diagnosed and found where the leak came from. Then they suggested one much more effective solution to solve the issue once for all - helped to fix the problem on their first visit and we ended up paying much less! We are very grateful for the great service!

Tim did a wonderful job of listening to me and my thoughts about what was needed and did everything I asked. Tim did his best to save me money and in the end I authorized additional work to prevent a repeat of my current problem, which likely would not have been long since there was so much corrosion in my galvanized pipe. My pipe was completely plugged, so merely cleaning a 51 year old pipe would not have solved my problem for long. I chose to have Tim replace the pipe. Thank You Tim! Jim did an amazing job clearing our basement floor drain! He quickly found the cause of the clog, an old brass plug wedged in the P-Trap, and nimbly removed it. He also offered much appreciated advice and recommendations on how to maintain the drain moving forward. 10/10 would snake drains for buried treasure with Jim again!

Jim, tech #1458, fixed our plumbing problem today. He was very professional and friendly and arrived right on time. Told him what problems we were having and he quickly identified the area of blockage in our drainage line. He fixed the blockage and then tested to make sure the problem was resolved, and it worked great. Our over all experience today was great.

Both Sam and Jacob were extremely professional and competent. My sump pump failed and needed to be replaced. Also, the resulting flood needed to be corrected. Their professionalism and clearly stated steps outlined what needed to be done moving forward. I think I have found my go-to company for any future plumbing or water requirements.

Roto Rooter came out and determined our main drain was backed up. He cleaned the main drain and another drain after we suggested the clog may be coming from the lowest level toilet in the house because it was clogged. After snaking two drains he finally removed the toilet the toilet as we suggested and got the clog. Upon him leaving he left both drains open without properly shutting them as they were before he came over to do the repairs. He even went as far to ask me to go get a new screw for the drain myself, he said the screw previously in the drain didn't fit now. It was in tact but he did not want to mess with it.He also left the sewer cap off and main drain lid off. I has to call the company the following day to have a different technician put that same screw back without any issues the screw he had said no longer fit which made zero sense considering it was just in there fine before the technician did the job the day prior. The new technician had to put the sewer plug back in and close off the other drain as well he had left three drains open. He clearly said the job wasn’t complete and that it should not have been left like that and that many of their technicians are new and unexperienced and that he feels as though he is babysitting. Overall 600$ later and frustrated that the job wasn’t completed properly. Be cautious using Roto Rooter for your plumbing needs.

Main sewer line backed up on Labor Day weekend. Roto Rooter only company that responded. Anthony cleared the line which was blocked by a large growth of tree roots/branches. The mass was so dense it took another tech to come out and they both managed to pull the line out manually. I was impressed by Anthony’s professionalism and his good natured demeanor.

Wonderful customer service. I had a sewer emergency and they had a tech out to my house in 30 minutes. The tech then fixed the problem in 5 minutes. A problem I was told by another company would require major construction and a $3,800 price tag. Lifelong customer for sure.

The service man that we had (Mark #283) was excellent!! He was very thorough in what he was trying to find, explained what the problem was, went over cost, and than got the job done, and might I ad, he was very clean in his process. No messes left over!! The down side about this was, I called at 3:30pm and my service man was suppose to be here before 8:00pm. No show before that time, so I called back. The person answering the phone said my service man was running behind at a big job. We could understand that. Finally at 12:30am, Mark shows up. I was asking him about his big job. He looked puzzled and said he didn’t know what I was talking about. Mark and I kinda chuckled and said, we thought someone was trying to cover- up their mistake. Oh, well. Job is done, and all is good.

I was able to easily set up an appointment on a Saturday morning and they gave me a call 30 minutes prior to Tom #760 coming out. When Tom got here he was very polite and helpful in regards to explaining all of my options and was up front about the cost. I highly recommend their service.

24/7 professional service. They come when they say they will (which you can schedule appointments on-line) and get the job done well. My technician was professional and happy to help over a holiday weekend. Fully explained everything and exactly what it would take to fix it. He also gladly explained some general plumbing questions I had that were not related to the service at all. Pricing is a little steep, but the service is excellent and timely.

If I could sum it up in one word, fantastic. From Dustin, who diagnosed my issue, to Milton and Jimmy who did the excavation and repair, every step of the way they made sure I was informed about what was going on and explained my options. I had attempted to fix my sewer issue through my home warranty, who after 4 plumbers, not only couldn’t identify what the issue was but left my property in a worse state than they found it. Water was pouring out the top of our grinder. Without even opening it, the technician told us the motor needed to be replaced & it would cost $2500. We thanked them for coming out on a Sunday & paid for the service call. Morgan Miller fixed everything today for $1600.

This was the easiest service calls I've ever made. The woman who took my call (on a Friday night) asked all the right questions and got us scheduled. We had a window Saturday from 8-12 AM, and I got a text that Brandon was on his way. Brandon (#2850) arrived before 9 AM, was courteous, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He did a great job and got our clog cleared easily within 1/2 hour. The flat rate was a bit pricey, but we had the assurance of getting our issue resolved.

Had a sump pump pipe crack and flood my basement. Roto Rooter got a tech (Nate) out to me very quicky. He was able to put a temporary fix on it to get me through the night and came back the next day to do the larger replacement job. Calling a plumber on Christmas Eve is a tough decision, in fear that you disrupt the plumber's evening with family and friends and they come to your house grumpy and unhelpful. This was not the case with the plumber that came to our house late Christmas Eve. Mark # 283 was so helpful in figuring out our water issue at the kitchen sink, which had us all perplexed. Mark worked quickly, efficiency & was very nice to talk to while he worked; polite and considerate. He let us know what was going on, with our pipes and how he planned to fix it. He was able to complete the work and get our drain line cleaned out, and gave us some advise to our drain situation that will help us out in the long run.Initial call into the company had excellent customer service. They lady (Britney?) on phone was very knowledgeable, expedient, and polite. She took all our information down professionally, and was able let us know what to expect and when to expect the plumber to call and arrive.With this experience with Roto-Rooter I have no fears in calling them again to come out and service any drain issue that lie ahead.

My line has been camera'd twice was told there was mud the first time, Tony Rogers just ran the line and found broken pipe. He did not charge me to run the line or the camera so I can apply that to the repair of the sewer line. I really appreciate Tony's honesty. Had an extremely slow running floor drain in basement that was causing problems with using the Kitchen and the wash basin. Called Rotorooter and they sent out Scott 3394 within a couple of hours who immediately cleaned the drain and now it runs like new. Scott was professional and very helpful in answering any questions we had. I would recommend Scott 3394 and this service.

Had a line backing up into our sink when the dish washer ran. Anthony came out to snake the line in order to prevent such things from occurring. He was very knowledgeable and informative as to what caused the issue as well as bringing up factors to look out for in the future. He also replaced the clean out cap on a different line that was cracked after everything. The only negative that I will bring up would be the timely-ness of the appointment. We were given a 10 AM - 2 PM window which was incorrect as Anthony arrived around 3:30 PM. Aside from that, it was a pleasurable experience working with Anthony. Will work with Roto-Rooter in the future.

I called late Thursday night and was told my service tech would be here the next day between 10am and 2pm. I received a call around 12pm on Friday that they were on their way and they showed up and fixed my clogged kitchen sink very quickly. It was late Friday afternoon and I called a local plumber, he informed me it was late Friday. I apologized. I called Roto-Rooter, the lady said it might be 3 hours, but in 2 hours Brandon called and said he was headed over. My stopped up floor drain is under carpet I had laid down. 30 minutes later my drain was opened up and the carpet was replaced. Brandon was courteous, polite and very professional. He actually acted like he was happy that he was able to help me. Of course I received the 6 month warranty. About 10 days later my carpet was wet again. This time late Sunday afternoon. Within 1 hour Brandon was back. My new problem was not the drain, it was my A/C drain hose. As expected Brandon didn't have any A/C repair parts, but he managed to temporarily fixed my problem, No charge. Brandon shook my hand and said call if you have Any problems. For an old disabled guy that meant a lot to me. The problem was not major to a normal person, to a disabled person small things can be enormous. He takes the time to explain the work he is doing, gives a complete estimate, then completes the work in a timely manner. He then cleans up! Mike was awesome trying to find the backflow connection to do inspection we needed for the county. It was miserably hot outside so we kept him hydrated w water. Inspection got done, paperwork done and sent to the county.

Scammers. Point blank. They will do everything they’re not supposed to and not even solve any issues. Do not sign their contract without fully reading it. Ask for a copy before you do. They do not even care about their customers and lack

Had a very knowledgeable worker come in and did the job in the time he told me he would do it. He explained to me just what he would do and did it in the time he quoted. I am not the one to leave reviews – however, I was very unimpressed with this company. I reached out to them on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 around 5:30pm asking if a plumber was available for emergency services due to a pipe partially being removed (unprofessionally) and caused both bathrooms (toilets, sinks and showers) to be unusable. They stated a tech would be out within two hours. A little after 7pm, stating the tech had been delayed and will be a little late than expected. I then received another call shortly after stating a tech was not available and was unable to come out tonight. I was asked if I wanted to reschedule for the next day. With the good reviews I read and the service initially not being terrible, I agreed to schedule a visit for Wednesday, June 26, 2019 between 1pm-4pm and was assured and reassured (since i had to leave work early to be home to meet them) someone would be out. On Wednesday around 3pm I received a call informing me the tech was delayed and would probably be out before 5pm. Came 6pm, no one showed up. Reached out to them and was informed they were still delayed and wouldn’t be able tot make it out for another few hours. Around 7pm, I get the last call: “unable to make it tonight, would you like to reschedule”. I think this company really needs work on their scheduling. If they would have told me there were no available opening, I could have moved onto another company that same day instead of wasting money on a hotel for two nights waiting for them to come. After they delayed 3 times and canceled twice, I finally moved on to R-Mech Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. They were extremely nice and had a tech, Kyle, out within two hours. Received an official quote within another two hours. This is the correct way it should be done. Roto-Rooter, please take notes!

While the first man was quick on arrival, he was not very communicative in what was going on or what he actually did. The next guy came with a camera to see the problem and did a poor job at describing the problem and how they could fix. Just gave me an outrageous quote and that was it. Had a feeling since I was a woman and my husband wasn’t around that they could take advantage of me.

Noah was very sharp and knowledgeable. He helped us track down a clog in the house trap of a 127 year old home, and he knew exactly what to do and how to find the problem. Very polite, professional and personable as well.

This past Saturday we had a serious plumbing issue which was later diagnosed as a collapse in the main line. Roto-Rooter dispatch (Marilyn) was very quick to dispatch a technician to initially survey my sewage backup in the basement toilet. Kevin (tech.#1728) was professional and friendly, but due to the magnitude of the problem, he was unable to resolve the issue. He promptly ordered a sewer specialist to come out the next day to camera the sewer line to find out the source of the problem. He was able to evacuate the raw sewage (much appreciated) and at least get the basement toilet augered and cleaned out. Thanks Kevin for all you were able to do. Thanks to Charles Blackmon (#1348), the sewer specialist, who came out twice to camera the line and show me exactly where and what the problems were along the sewer main from the house. I appreciate the effort he made in getting me the best deal possible and being very sympathetic and helpful explaining the process and helping me with financing. You helped ease a very stressful situation. Your compassion and professionalism were outstanding. Special kudos to Mike #3409 and Vernon # 667 who extremely professional, courteous and hard working for 2 days out in the cold weather. They were very careful and considerate of my property and explained every step of the process as they worked to replace the pipes. Everything was fixed and we were back in business by the end of the day on Tuesday. Great job everyone.

The technician I have delt with have been outstanding, Brandon and Chris were both very informative and helpful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The people that answer the phones for this company could use a huge lesson in customer service. If I could rate them they wouldn't get any stars.

They may get to you first to assess and sell their services but do NOT commit to using Roto Rooter. Wait it out until you can find a better service provider. Assessment/sales process was unethical, service techs were unprofessional and inefficient. I was billed for services not even performed because they assumed I was going through insurance (shouldn't have mattered either way). Then it took months to first receive the bill then a month later to get bill corrected. Water Restoration manager and billing teams were unresponsive, hard to get a hold of. DO NOT USE ROTO ROOTER out of Liberty. Save yourself the trouble. Wish someone would have given me this advice.

The technician came to my home on 9-16-20 I hade issues with faucets and shut off valves and a running toilet. Each of my toilets had a different issue and my kitchen sink had a slow pressure issue. He installed the new faucet in the kitchen and in a bathroom and installed a new shut off valve. I waited to write the review to make sure that everything continued to work correctly as with some company's the problem seems fixed and then they leave and it doesn't work. I have had no issues for a month. It is so nice to have everything in working order. The technician Rob was polite and worked very diligently the entire time he was in my home. And made sure he was safe with COVID issues. I would hire this company again without hesitation.

I was pleasantly surprised with Technician Larry No. 554. He was very cordial, down to business and analyzed the probabilities of the water backup. He went right to the root of the problem and corrected it.Ran water through the pipes after the stoppage was cleaned out and the water ran beautifully. We have had no problems since. He even cleaned out the drain in the basement bathroom of hair which had never been done since we moved in 13 years ago. He was very efficient with his work.I was very pleased with him and his work.

the repairman broke a blade rootering our drain and said someone would be out with a camera to make sure our pipes were ok. it's been almost 2 hours and we're still awaiting a call/service. not even sure we should run any water in case a pipe is damaged...the service we received was fine but we're just left 'hanging'. the repairman was nice and professional just not a complete job.

Disappointed with the customer service. I cannot speak on their service performance as they failed to arrive for either of the two appointments they scheduled. First appointment was supposed to arrive between 12-4 at 5:30 I called and they said they would have someone call me right back. The dispatcher called at 10:40PM to let me know someone would not be coming. They said they would make my service a top priority and would have someone come before noon the following day. I called at 1:30PM and the dispatcher couldn't even tell me if someone would come that day at all. I understand that you are busy but it's extremely unprofessional to make appointments that you cannot possibly keep and I have never heard of a professional company calling someone at 10:40PM. That is just not the type of customer service that I am used to receiving. For these reasons I will take my business to someone who respects my time and honors their commitments.

The technician Jason was exceptional. The customer experience from the beginning was horrid. It started with a phone call to them at 10:30 am I was told an hour or two before a tech could make it out. At 12:30a supervisor said a tech would be on their way and should be calling around 15 minutes and would be there in 45min. 6 hours later I received a call to update me. Approximately 45 minutes passed and Jason showed up to help. He did an amazing job and cleared both lines quickly.

Saw many offers for much lower cost, but went with the kings of this particular service. Managed to schedule a tech earlier than requested. Very polite and straight forward. Was even kind enough to replace the stuff back under the sink where they were stored normally.

My apartment complex sent out Roto-Rooter for a maintenance emergency and they were very responsive and the representative Corey that they sent out was very detailed about the situation and definitely took his time. Would 100% recommend them.

A very nice man named Kevin came to my house. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem with my toilet that wasn’t flushing properly. I ended up having to have a new toilet installed. We woke up to a smelly drain backup in our kitchen sink on Saturday morning. After plunging and getting nowhere - I called Roto Rooter at 1pm and Keith was here at 2:30. He advised me that he could clean the drain line and showed me the service price list. I had found a coupon online and he honored it. The job was done in an hour and he then spent time cleaning up the relatively little mess. Keith observed all Covidprecautions and used effective disinfectant for cleanup. I did not expect this emergency weekend household service call to go so well. Money well spent. Keith and Roto Rooter are the real deal professionals.

Major root problems in pipes that caused the drain on the back porch to flood. They got there and used a camera to figure out the problem and got it taken care of quickly. Kept us updated of all they found, showed us on the camera what they found and kept us informed of charges.

For the last few days our drains have been making unusual smells and sounds. I explored calling Roto-Rooter last night, but settled on making an appointment for this morning. The person who took the call made it pretty easy and there was no hard-selling. The first drain man showed up on time, but after looking at our set-up, he was afraid his machinery would damage our newly refinished basement stairs, etc. He called in a different person who arrived an hour later. The new person, Aaron, was just as professional and knowledgeable. He even helped us find a different drain spot (we thought they had to use this spot under our sink, but he found a spot on the other side of our basement). It took about an hour or so to get the work done. Then the camera man came to do the colonoscopy of our house pipes. Again, theirs was thorough, quality work with NO hard selling and no hassle. For the price conscious, there is currently a coupon for $75 off on their website. I would recommend these guys.

It would be nice if their dispatch or the plumber scheduled to come out actually called to say that they could not make it. I was told 7-9pm for two days now. I rescheduled for today. Nothing. Thanks guys for the “quality” job.

Guy was nice & did a quick good job. Only problem was when I was told he would be there in 30 minutes it was over an hour later. Plus he installed a wrong size shut off so now I have to go buy an adapter/reducer. Overall ok but not great.

The employee was very nice and efficient. The problem is the astronomical price they quoted, well over $300. The plumber was here for no more than 30 minutes (unclogged drain). This is greed at its worst. So much for being a caring member of the community. Gouge and take as much as you can. I can only imagine those on a fixed income or making minimum wage.

I own a restaurant in Midtown and I can honestly say finding someone dependable is not as easy as it sounds. When we started having plumbing issues in our 100+ year old building, I was frozen in fear of hiring someone who just does patch jobs, which seems to be the norm these days. Great experience - service man was nice and helpful. Very straight forward about everything and came shortly after my request. It is somewhat expensive, but still worth it.

The gentleman who came in was great and got the work done in about 20 mins. However, the charge was $390. Really???!! That extreme of a charge for running a snake down a drain for less than 1/2 hr of work is simply boggling.

I am so disgusted, disappointed, just down right mad and very confused and still feel like I got robbed and tricked! I literally paid almost $600 in cash...for one of the so called roto rooter technicians to come and take a look at my water heater since the unit was no longer heating my water...it appeared to be that the light kept going out...so my bf relit it and it went out AGAIN. so we called them and boom...he gets gets here..lights the pilot light on my water heater ...and gives me the bill and it says 6 something. I had an online coupon for 100 dollars off any service and it ended up costing me 589 dollars still. this is just outright ridiculous and literally robbery. there's no reason why it should have cost that much. he was here for a total of MAYBE 30 minutes tops. and here it is a month or two about later....and the light has gone out again and now won't light at all. I haven't had warm water in that long ao about 2 months or more. NO HOT WATER. NOT FAIR AND I FEEL LIKE A COMPANY LIKE THIS SHOULD NEVER CHARGE OUTRAGEOUS PRICES FOR WORK THAT ISNT EQUAL TO THE AMOUNT BEING PAID. AND THEY SHOULD NEVER ALLOW THEIR TECHNICIANS TO GOUGE THEIR CUSTOMERS EITHER. I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE THIS COMPANY. AND I ALWAYS TELL ANYONE THAT I COME ACROSS ASKING FOR MY ADVICE ON WHO THEY SHOULD USE...AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM BEING HONEST AND STRAIGHT FORWARD ABOUT MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE.. Trevor was our technician and arrived 30 minutes late, he quoted $650 for a small seal leak problem under our stand-up shower. After cutting into the pipes, he realized he made a mistake and called his boss to find a solution to his mess up. Sent pictures and everything. Top it off quoted higher after his mistake. Then when he finished the job, we waited overnight to test it, and first thing in the morning water was everywhere in our laundry room. Let’s just say the worst experience ever, 3 technicians in less than a week to fix the tiniest leak, & on the first day when we told Trevor looks like you could have just sealed it from the top besides all that you explained the first time. His response was yeah I thought about that after.One it’s the holidays and two it’s not easy nowadays and when we don’t know too much about plumbing, we hope for honesty and I feel like we haven’t gotten any of that. I have placed 2 requests to hear back from the manager and heard nothing. I’ve never felt so used in my life and it’s the worst feeling, so I’d recommend doing your research, & know what you’re getting into before trusting who we expect are professionals.

Wonderful service the technician was very professional and after I explained what was going on he knew immediately what was wrong and fixed the issue quickly! Our main sewer line had backed up and he was able to clear it quickly and gave us recommendations for the future on how to keep it from happening. The technician also told me each step of what he was doing which I really liked because it gave me an idea of what he was doing because I had no idea really. I will be using Roto Rooter again in the future for any plumbing issues.

Dwayne (3453) was excellent! This was the second time we had to have roto-rooter out to our home in a short time frame and he was great. After having an inexperienced individual out the first time, Dwayne was a breath of fresh air. Dwayne listened to my concerns and wore a smile the entire time. First, they were here for days, didn't take care of the drain and left the toilet sitting on my bedroom floor. What kind of service is that! Have already gotten recommendations on who is actually able to do the job in a timely AND PROFESSIONAL manner. I will never call this outfit again.

I called Roto-Rooter to come fix my broken sump pump. I was told someone would be out in an hour. It wasn't until two hours later that Shane arrived. He was very professional and courteous. Shane quickly informed me I would need to replace the sump pump and he gave me a quote. He was not be able to fix it until the following afternoon because he needed approval from a supervisor. This gave me time to research the installation and confirm I would be able to do it myself. I ended up making an early morning trip to Home Depot and spending 1/4 of what I was quoted by Roto-Rooter. I cancelled my appointment with Shane and paid for his assessment. If not for that approval process I would have ended up spending a lot more. I'm sure I would have been happy with Shane's installation as he seemed to know his work well.

Larry #554 was very prompt courteous surveying the problems and explaining what he was going to do and suggesting a product that could help the flow of the drains and finding out approximate prices for future projects that need to be done in future. Larry also was very conscientious and diligent in his clean up of the work area. Larry made it a very pleasant experience dong the job in a very professional way. Roto-Rooter was very responsive and had a technician here the same night. Allan (tech 1512) was here in a couple of hours and explained the costs before anything was done. He also let me know that with the age of my house I may have to eventually replace the pipes in the basement. He was very friendly and fixed my washer drain quickly so my basement no longer gets wet when I run the washing machine.

Jason Meyer (0131) was my plumber technician. Told me what was wrong with my old unit, a cost to repair it, and options to consider. After weighing them I opted to replace the unit. Jason worked quickly and had the old unit out, installed needed upgrades and installed the new unit. And did it pretty fast. I was impressed. I will use Roto Rooter again. Thanks Jason!

Blake was friendly, knowledgeable and took care to keep our home clean. I was surprised by the high cost as i am used to using a local company but that was my fault for not asking when I scheduled the appointment. Our appointment was delayed by several hours but we were apprised of that by the dispatch center. In all a pretty good experience.

Jason came within an hour of placing the call, which was a plus. He came in and was respectful, followed all safety protocols (social distancing), quickly evaluated our problem after I explained everything, and got to work. This is our third attempt to get this drain fixed and he did it!! We will treat it each month as he described and hopefully not have to call back. Early results are extremely satisfactory.

Aaron came out the next day (Non-Emergency). He was extremely professional and courteous. Repairs (Refrigerator water line shut-off valve leak and main house shutoff stripped loose) were completed promptly and to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend these guys.

Shane was our tech, he was a nice guy, but the whole experience I realize now was a scam. We had two options for entry and although he seemed to be fairly sure which one he needed to use, he pushed us to try both, even though it would cost more. Of course it was the second point of entry where we found the problem. He then struggled to get his machine past the first 10ft and made comments about how the pipes may he collapsed. Then another tech came in with a camera to look and said there was a “root infestation” and that there was extensive damage to my pipes and that I would need to have my pipes relined and all of the roots cleared out. They quoted me $16,500 for that. They charge me $900 that day and solved nothing.Well, two days later it clogged up again and I called A-1 Sewer & Septic Service, and the tech there came out, and in LESS THAN AN HOUR completely cleared out the roots, let me know that it was not a lot of roots, but it was enough to cause the clog that was happening, and that my pipes were in fine condition and there was absolutely no collapse. And he did all of this for $300 when Roto rooter came out and charged me $900 just to not fix the problem and tell me it was significantly worse than it actually was.ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND

I had an excellent experience when Jim (1458) and Andy (3737) showed up to unclog a toilet. They were extremely professional with the no contact experience. Also, they let me know my options before even looking at the situation. This tells me that I am getting a fair price versus giving me a quotation after evaluating. This started out as a 5 star review. They were great and super fast to respond for a water mitigation service for a sewage backup. Then they broke our ping pong table while performing the service. Left a sticky residue on our hardwood floors, which took them 2 weeks to get resolved. They are very poor at getting back to you when you call. All appointments were made literally an hour before they came. If i wasn't working from home this would have been a major issue. Only reason they are getting 2 stars is because of speedy response on the originating call and good job of cleaning the mess. Oh and they quoted us $3,000 more for pipe replacement versus the company who performed that job.

Victor was very good! Wasn’t here for long and got us using the toilet and washer again! Have had 2 other companies out and couldn’t get it! Great job Victor, and he only has been doing this for a few months!

I called for service with my main drain backup. They gave me a next day appointment, which was great and the plumbers showed up as scheduled. The cost robbery left a lot to be desired! They made a temporary fix but caused a major problem! With that they gave a 30 warranty to go along with it! That’s exactly how long the fix was. They were supposed to also also with the robbery! Supposed to send someone out to run a camera through the line? Well that never happened, and that is why I recommend calling another legitimate company that has a better service ethic and quality!

Our tech was Fred Milton. He was professional and helpful and clearly experienced. He gave us a price and the time it would take to complete the work up front and he stuck to both. Very please with his work and the service in general!

I was able to go online and schedule an appointment at my convenience. The plumber was prompt and professional. He answered all of our questions and cleared the clogged drain quickly. We had attempted to get a handyman for the job with no luck. This company is reliable and available when it comes to plumbing needs. I believe the cost is little expensive, but we consider it's worth it for clear drains.

The plumber that serviced my drain on behalf of Roto Rooter was the most knowledgeable, friendly service man I have had work on my home. The pricing was a little higher than the last time I had my drain serviced, however, it has been over 5 years which might account for some of the increase. Overall very pleased!!

Before I get into typing about the experience I received I did want to mention that when I made this appointment the day before I was told that it was a 10:00 am appointment with a four hour time frame. I said that was fine. Well the day of no one called by the 4 hour time frame. I gave them an extra half hour before I called. Once I got to talk to dispatch they said sorry and that they had someone to send out it would be 20 more minutes. We'll I told them okay as we had been without water for almost 24 hours. Once the person got here he was polite. He knew exactly what the issue was as soon as he saw it. Told us the price it could potentially be, and we said go ahead. His name is Hunter and I would recommend him.

Our kitchen sink was clogged on a Friday evening with a kitchen full of dishes. Other places we called couldn't come until the next day, and wouldn't commit to a time frame (expecting us to wait around all day). We called Roto-Rooter, and they arrived within an hour. Tim was very friendly and thorough. Within 15 minutes, he found the clog about 30 feet down and cleared it. He then ran the line further to ensure there weren't any more clogs, put everything back, and tested it multiple times. When finished, he even worked with us on the price since it wasn't a difficult job.

As much as I would have loved to use Roto Rooter due to their fast response to my initial call, unfortunately I have had a terrible experience getting them to follow through on the project. After scheduling the initial project, I have been called twice that they have to reschedule. Each time I was assured they would make the appointment and both times they couldn’t follow through. Find a more reliable service that won’t leave you hanging.

They were friendly, informative, and very fast. A bit on the pricey side but, you always pay for quality work. If needed I wouldn't use any other company.

I just used Roto Rooter to replace part of an old rusted pipe under my concrete basement floor. The person who came out to do the work was very professional, really personalble, and did a great job. In an emergency main drain situation, you taught me a lot about plumbing and wise choices when buying a home (always do a plumbing inspection!) which I would have bought anyway a couple years ago, I'm quite sure. I knew this company might not be the least expensive, but since I had little experience, I called the one with the highest reviews, and once I met them and saw the first work, I stayed with RotoRooter for the really big project of replacing the line out to the street (and my part under the street.) I called Roto-Rooter on a Monday morning to schedule someone to come take a peek at my water heater. Thinking they wouldn't be able to come out until later in the week, I was SHOCKED to find out they could come out the same day! Not only were they quick and efficient but my tech #559, Fred Milton, was so kind! He made me feel comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. I would HIGHLY recommend him and this company!

I'm sure it depends on who answers the call since Roto-Rooter is a huge company but we've had great results with the plumber that showed up when our main line in the basement needed to be snaked. I just didn't have the hardware around to get down far enough. They showed up quite fast and got to work. Done in about 30 minutes and it's worked great ever since. I'll definitely be calling Roto-Rooter again, especially if it's the same one, because they'll unblock it for free.

Brett was awesome. The initial repair, should have only took 1 - 2 hours tops. He drove all the way out to Lee Summit to find a part for me. Once we figured the part wasn't going to help he showed up the next day at 9am on time and finished around 2pm. They fixed our faucet and I will 100% come back for any future repairs! We had a fantastic experience with Roto Rooter! We had a leaky basement drain that had been backing up for awhile from who knows what. The service members on the phone were kind and they are open late to work around our schedule. Our tech Steven #1218 was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and helpful with our drain issue. I love that they do a 6th month warranty and there were some great products recommended.

We had some miscommunications around scheduling, but a wonderful experience with our very fine and helpful master plumber, Robert Peters #506-2241. He did a great job fixing a bad faucet and pipes, and then checked for other problems and leaks in 3 other places and fixed these problems all at no additional charge. The price was reasonable for all the work! I do hope he gets to see this, because I got so caught in paying the bill, I didn’t view the work until after he had left. Could not be more pleased!!!!

We called Roto-Rooter around 6:00pm this evening and within a couple of hours someone was at our house and took care of the clogged drain that was backing up in the kitchen sink and garage floor drain. The technician was very efficient and pleasant and cleaned everything up when he was done.

After having a bad experience with Bob Hamilton I decided to give Roto Rooter a call and I'm so happy I did. The customer service I received from Roto-Rooter exceed my expectations. The service technician (Larry) arrived for my scheduled appointment on time, he was very friendly/professional and he was able to fix the issue with main line within two hours. He took the time to explain the situation and he was honest about the cost of repairing the main line. Larry noticed my basement had been recently remodeled and he made sure his machine didn't damage any walls, flooring, and he cleaned up before he left. The customer service I received from Larry was exceptional and I will never call Bob Hamilton again.

Juan was great, he explained what he did in detail, showed where the clog was located and cleared it quickly. Would use root rooter again for my next service.

It was pretty difficult to get a camera technician out after we were told by the first worker that he couldn't get more than a couple feet in our line. The camera technician finally came out after a couple days of calling and told us that we had some issues by the curb, which required excavation, and that he would recommend getting rid of our home trap - all costing $9000. We called another plumber for a second opinion who was able to auger the entire line and told us he saw no issues with the home trap. I would caution anyone using this company to get a second opinion before shelling out thousands for unneeded repairs. We ended up paying a lot for bad advice.

Good service with professionals who care. Had to have my mainline replaced. They arranged financing. They kept their schedule, worked with my neighbor because my line cut through his yard. Cleaned up well and seeded. Looks good, very happy.

Jason was a great guy. All around AAA+++ service. Very knowledgeable about his job. And made it look easy. Until tonight I had no clue the did more the just drain cleaning. Definitely are new go to for all plumbing issues.

The service was very good once the tech(s) could get to our home. Testing for moisture penetration was thorough initially and fans were installed and an air scrubber was added due to a member of the family being extra sensitive to viruses. The follow-up tech checking the drying out status tested deeper into the walls and wooden studs and soles and all was good.Some difficulty in getting times established as to when a crew was going to get to us but its somewhat understandable due to lots of needs elsewhere that they were also trying to cover.Some problem with getting their on-line tech to work to complete their reports. I had good signal strength but the techs seemed to struggle.Some delay in removal of the equipment, probably due to our distance from their shop location. I don't think anyone wanted to drive an hour to come get the equipment and then drive and hour back.

We have been using Roto-Rooter for our plumbing services since 2002 with excellent results. On 3/17/2015 we had them come out to fix plumbing under the sink, and serviceman, NICK 399, did an wonderful job, he was very professional and fixed our problem that also could of caused a fire. They had someone at my house about an hour after I called them. He quickly found the source of the water leak and gave me a reasonable price quote before starting any work. I just finished renovating a 100 year-old house. The plumbing - which I had put in new - worked fine until I had four relatives stay with me and then both toilets backed up. I called Roto Rooter for a free camera inspection. The tech told me he wasn't sure what was causing the clog, but he gave me a written $2300 estimate to fix it. ?? He said I would need to remove planks from my covered deck and they would need to bring out a backhoe to dig up all the lines to inspect. Fortunately, I got a second opinion. We had a clogged main line and Dwayne #3453 came out and evaluated the situation, offered a solution and provided friendly service. Very friendly - big smile on his face the whole time and made sure I understood the charges and how to use the pipe shield once a month to ensure the pipe stays clear. Later Jimmy Miller stopped by and ran the camera to ensure the clog was removed and to assess the condition of the pipes. Jimmy made sure I understood the pipe shield process and recommended an annual reminder to clear the pipe in the future. Fast, friendly and reliable! Thanks Dwayne and Jimmy!

I had a bit of a plumbing emergency at 8pm. We were replacing the inside workings of the tank ourselves and found the shut off valve in place did not work. We had to turn of the water main to make any repairs. We couldn't get a new shut off valve installed properly - it kept leaking. So we couldn't turn the water back. They were able to get someone out that night to get a quick fix done just so we could turn the water back on for the night. The next day they were out to get a permanent shut off valve installed. Fred Milton (#2615) was out and had it fixed so quickly, he stayed to help me finish installing the tank.

We had an incredible experience using Roto-Rooter. Aaron was so patient and kind while we talked him through our problems and asked him questions. Last week we had our sewer main clog up again last week. I thought I used Roto-Rooter the last year but was sadly mistaken. the guy from Roto-Rooter charged over $300.00 and did not offer to clean up or put stuff back where he was done. I realized too late that last time I used A1 which was less than half the price. The young man last year from A1 cleaned up everything and put everything back. If we ever need this service again i will remember not to use Rotor Rooter.

I had my main house trap fail and I reached out and was put in contact with multiple techs. First tech was Nathan. Very professional and on time, next his field supervisor Nick. Nick came to my property we discussed the repairs needed and other interests. Very personable and knowledgeable about the repairs needed. Next was the repair crew that consisted of Mike, Andy, and Chase all of which acted in a professional manner and took pride in their work. They even let that pesky homeowner bother them. That would be me. I have had two repairs done by this crew. The original repair and than a follow up repair that was caused by another company doing work for me. 100 percent would recommend this team.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They all work on commission and tell you one price and then screw you around after they nearly triple it then threaten to send you to collections. I have asked for bosses and supervisors names and they claim they don't know their bosses names. Would love to speak to someone in management but they wont call me back.

Gray came out and helped us with our drain as well as our water heater and he was great. It is hard to get service because you never know if you can trust what the technician is saying but I really felt like he was being honest and helped us fix our problem. We have used other techs and always have great service.

Company came out within the hour as promised- it seems we had a clog in the line and a defective toilet seal - the plumber did a good job on working to clear the drain. The seal was more of a problem since the floor surface wasn’t level and the seal wasn’t fitting right. He went to the hardware store found a plate to install to ensure a new seal would fit right.Company came out again on 5/1 for a repeat clogged drain - this plumber really took the time to find the problem and correct it -he had me load up every faucet running to ensure the clog was removed!This service at no charge per their guarantee!

My kitchen sink drain was clogged. My efforts to snake it were unsuccessful. I called Roto-Rooter. In just a couple of hours a pleasant employee came. After he used his auger to try and unclog the pipe several times, he determined it needed the water-jet to clear out the clog. He quoted a price of $1,320 for that service. At that time, I informed him I wanted to get a quote from another plumbing service. I paid Roto-Rooter a $160 service fee and he left. My neighbor and I cleared the clog with a water hose. It was time consuming and dirty, but also much less expensive.UPDATE:After posting the above response, I was contacted by a Customer Service Manager. He filed a formal complaint with Roto-Rooter management. He said I would soon be contacted by a member of management. I did receive a phone call and at the end of the phone call, Roto-Rooter made it right. I must say, they were quick on the initial call for service, the employee who came was professional. Even though they did not fix my issue, they followed up and made things right. At the end of the day, it is service when problems arise, that sets businesses apart. I will average my 1 star for getting the job done and 5 stars for service, and put this at 3 stars.

I had a very good experience from beginning to end dealing with Roto-Rooter. The operator answering and scheduling my call was nice, informative and got me scheduled quickly. The service technician, Tony, was on time and went about cleaning the drain line while answering my questions as he worked. He let me know what problems he was seeing and what things I could do to alleviate future problems. Everyone was very professional and courteous throughout the whole process.

We found water in our basement due to our main line being clogged. We called and they gave me a 4 hour window when a tech would be available. they called 30 minutes before to let me know he was on his way. Dave S #0393 arrived within that window. He was very professional in his appearance and his manner. He went right to work to analyze the problem, and did find that our main was clogged. He went the extra effort to make sure he took the shortest route through the house with the heavy equipment. Once the line was clean, he ran a video camera and explained what he was seeing. He found no problems, and cleaned up the area. I was very impressed with the entire process.

Company rescheduled me without notification 3 times only way i found out was when i called. When someone showed up it was a water mitigation specialist who tried to upcharge me 4k with the promise of insurance covering the cost.... When I asked how much it would cost to unclog my pipe he said he wasn't the guy referred me to wait for a call that never came he and the company were extremely unprofessional very pushy with little to no customer service in rescheduling or addressing my problem. After looking at the 1 star reviews it makes sense... ended up doing the work myself for less than 60 bucks thanks to home depots rental department for a snake and basic disinfectant smh.

Very pleased! Setting up an appointment by phone was quick and easy. We were notified promptly by phone that there was going to be a delay, and notified again when the technician was on the way. The technician (Curtis, Tech #653) showed up and assessed the issue we were having with a basement/crawl space drain that was clogged allowing water to back-up and causing high humidity in our entire home. He fixed the problem, by clearing the clog and suggested ways to keep it from happening in the future. He was polite and personable.

I'm rating a 3 out of 5 stars. For service I would rate a 5, but for price I would rate a 1. I scheduled for them to replace a faucet at one of my duplexes since I wasn't available myself. Once at the duplex, my tenants also complained of a slow filling toilet, and a slow draining sink. I was surprised to find out that it would cost $570 to complete everything (about 3 hours of work).Having said that, Roto-Rooter's plumber, Ace, called me directly before beginning the additional work, and gave me an estimate of what the extra work would cost. He was professional and polite, and I appreciated him keeping me in the loop, even though I wasn't there. When dealing with a larger company such as Roto-Rooter, you will have to pay a bit more to account for the added overhead cost of such a large company. In exchange, however, it's my opinion that you consistently get good customer service, and they'll stand behind their work.

Very quick response and excellent service. It was a fairly quick and simple fix but while they were working they educated me on what to look for to prevent this issue in the future and gave me some tips on maintenance. Would definitely recommend if an emergency comes up.

The service was excellent. The plumber was courteous, professional and thorough. My only issue is that the cost is over 3x what most plumbing services typically charge for unclogging a drain. This was offset somewhat by having a 6 month warranty rather than 30 days as most others typically have.

The task was to replace the handle in our shower. More work was found that needed to be corrected. The cost was more than expected, but so was the work and labor. The plumber took time to assess and repair it properly. We were pleased with the diligence in the work and fixing the plumbing correctly!

I had the pleasure of having Curtis in my house today to help with some drainage issues in my washer. He was so kind, helpful, patient and knowledgable. I appreciated all the work he did, and the fact that he never tried to talk me into anything extra. He also tried to teach me a few things here and there to look out for in the future. Michael (1932) was able to arrive at our house within 2 hours of my call on a Saturday. We had a back up of sewage water in our basement bathroom. He was very professional and courteous and quickly discovered that we had a clogged main line. Though they are not always on time, rotorooter always makes it out to our house the same day an emergency happens. The service is always good when they finally arrive and this time was no exception. Glad to have somewhere to call that can come out same day rather than the next week like others we have tried.

Couldn't fix the issue at 930 at night on a Saturday but assessed the issue and made an appointment for Sunday to fix the issue. Very responsive and took a weight off our minds to get a job looked and appointment in such a timely manner.

Roto-rooter was really busy so they weren’t able to come out in the time frame but the service technician was really nice and got the job done. They still made it out the following day even though I didn’t submit the work request until 11pm. The service techs camera wasn’t set up to check the drain so I was told somebody would come out later.Update: It’s been a week since my original service and nobody has come out and when I called a few days ago my ticket had been canceled. They got me a new ticket and said somebody would call me 3 days ago. I’ve called back every day since then with the same response from Roto-Rooter saying somebody will call me shortly or they will call me back because dispatch is busy. The technicians are still great but the customer service of dispatch hasn’t been good overall.

Nick was so professional, friendly, empathetic, and just all around a nice person. He explained the process, the technical terms, exactly what they needed to do, and wrote up the contract fast and efficiently. His workers were so polite, kind, fast, and thorough too! I have had bad experiences in the past. I will never call another company again because Roto-Rooter went above and beyond. It was such a stressful situation and they did everything they could to ease my fears. We had a busted main pipe which is normally such a major problem. They were in and out in two days!

Service was ok. He did what i asked him to do but it is something ive had done before, being an upkeep thing. The first guy charged me 310, was super helpful and did more than he needed to.. and this guy.. he ended up charging me 345 for the same service because i wanted to use the $60 coupon they had advertised on the website. He didnt like the fact i wanted to use a coupon either and that the guy before him did a bit more the previous time.. with a better attitude i might add. I like roto-rooter as a company and will probably be requesting a different plumber next time since i have to have this service done yearly.

I had Garrick (#335) come out to replace a water heater and couple other components. The team was friendly and efficient, however the price quoted changed three times. The night before when he came over, he quoted 2000-2400. I agreed. The next day, the quote changed to 2400-2600 and when the entire process was complete it was 2800. He said that this was the quoted cost, but that was untrue. I am satisfied with the service, but NOT the cost. I felt a bit taken advantage of and by the time the service was complete didn't feel I had a voice in questioning the cost of this service. I would hesitate using the company again if this is what they do to customers.

Juan is amazing!! He helped find a broken CPVC pipe and repair it with a new copper pipe and fittings. He told and the pipe that was broken at two ends. He got us the parts from Home depot and replaced them in the garage area was cold. Absolutely will recommend Roto-Rooter and Juan for any plumbing related works!!

Mark was very professional yet personable. Told me how long it would likely take to from start to finish to snake my main sewer line & I wasn't disappointed. It was late & he was quiet as I asked since my boys were both in bed. When he brought his equipment back up from the unfinished basement, he went & got cleaner from his truck to clean the wheels so they wouldn't leave crud on my carpet .

Roto-Rooter offered outstanding service in all the ways that count--timeliness; courtesy; expertise; expense.The phone receptionist was super friendly and professional, and the tech worker, Richard, tech #3555, was fabulous. Richard was courteous, of good cheer, knowledgeable, and thorough. He asked lots of questions, checked several pipes in both floors of the house, and explained to me the likely cause of the problem. (It had to do with our high-pressure-flush toilet.) He said he would be wiling to do more diagnostic work if I chose for him to do so, but he suspected that he'd find nothing beyond what he shared with me.) When I asked him what the charge would be for the service, he said nothing. All in all, a very satisfying experience for what could have been, in less scrupulous or competent hands, a very different, and far less satisfying, situation.

Guy did a great job. I had to hire them after my Home Warranty Plan failed to do it twice. Roto-Rooter also guarantees their work for six months, which is fantastic.

No one will return our call about the service, unclog our drain, You are charging us $479. for 20 minutes of work then you had the manager of the center sign the bill which I told the operator they needed to call me as I would pay the bill right afterwards. I have tried several times to call the company, they say they cannot find the work order. I will never use this company and will let everyone know how they operate!!!!!

Justin Starr cleaned our kitchen sink drain. He was professional and friendly, got it done and cleaned up after the job. This company seems more expensive than others, but seems to have the proper equipment and expertise. We actually had another well known company here the day before, and he tried and said he couldn't get it opened, that was a bargain special price ad....I was pleased to pay Roto Rooter their higher price., and get my sink back. I will call them first next time.

We called Roto-Rooter first since their marketing is everywhere. We booked online for a late afternoon appointment block. No body contacted us around the time so I called customer service and asked if the appointment was a blocked time because no one had contacted me yet. Mid way through, the customer service representative interrupted me to affirm yes it was a blocked time and proceeded to end the call. Once the entire blocked time had pass, we called again to get a hold of dispatch who said they would contact us back to see what our ETA was. It wasn't for another 2-3 hours that someone contacted us to let us know the tech was running behind. I wasted my whole day waiting around for 6 hours to know, they still weren't coming out just yet!I ended up going with a different company who booked me immediately and got me taken care of within an hours, and the plumber finished his job in half an hour!I would recommend finding a small business or a more customer caring based company.

Shane did a great job cleaning the main drain on my home. Price was a bit high, however the professionalism and work was top notch.

Our technician was Dave Solomon #0393. He was in the driveway within thirty minutes on a Friday evening and took care of my issue promptly. I was planning to get a few estimates, but Dave was so knowledgeable and honest (plus their estimate was free) I decided to have him fix it on the spot. Will definitely use Roto-Rooter in the future because of this awesome experience!

Great service! The were out here only a few hours after calling to report a backed up drain. The Technician, Tom Wileatt (0339) was friendly and nice. He solved our drain issue quickly.

I called and a got an imediate appointment and the technician William arrived about 30 minutes after calling the company. William fully explained the procedures, repairs, and charges through-out the visit. He did a top notch job cleaning our drains and replacing leaming pipes. He left all the areas he worked on clean and put everything under the sink back in it's place.We will definitely use Roto-Rooter in the future and reccommend the company to our friends and family.

A t-shirt had been flushed down the toilet. They auggered out the main line. They cleaned up and were very professional. Would highly recommend them. 5 out of 5 stars.

I was very happy that Roto Rooter could get someone out to our house within three hours of making a phone call. And R'Cittio did a good job of snaking the drain to find the clog of tree roots. But, I was surprised when he said that it would cost over $300 to take care of our problem within the first 30 minutes he was here. He was here 90-110 minutes total.I was also surprised that he didn't have a camera to check the pipe to see where the roots were growing. That required a visit from the camera guy. It was scheduled 2 days later, from 8-12 AM and he didn't show up. I think this company is over-rated.

Dave (tech #0393) was efficient and timely in our repair that we needed done. We appreciated the upfront price and he helped us prevent further issues by adding a shut off valve where we didn't have one before. He gave us some complimentary cleaner and saved us money. We'll definitely use roto rooter again if needed and recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services!

They refused to give any pricing over the phone for clearing a blocked toilet drain pipe. I made an appointment from noon to 4pm the next day for an estimate. No show, no call. I contacted them after 4pm and they acted like they were doing me a favor to send anyone at all. A guy finally showed up around 6pm. The estimate was $140 to remove and replace the toilet and at least $311 to clear the drain. $450 or more? No thanks. I went to Home Depot the next day and rented a power auger for $60. Five minutes to remove the toilet, an hour to snake the drain, fifteen minutes and a new wax ring to reinstall the toilet. Saved $390. I wasn’t impressed with Roto-Rooter.

Noticed about 5 pm on Easter that my toilet and tub had filled 90% full of water. Shut off my sump pump and called not one, not two, not three but four plumbers. (I used AL which was, like usual, a mistake). Two promised call-backs and two didn't answer. Of course no one called back. So then I called Roto-Rooter. They promised someone there within an hour and about an hour later, Michael #1932 showed up. He diagnosed the problem and cleaned out my main drain line for what I consider a reasonable charge including a coupon from the RR website. Thanks so much folks!

UPDATE:Manager called me back immediately. I can tell he was concerned and we discussed the complaint accordingly. Great customer service and follow up here.Any business will have issues such as these, what matters is the customer is eventually taken are of.I will use this business again based off the follow up and great history of previous service events. Bumped up review from two stars to four stars.************************************************************************-Burped out loud the whole time he was there. I am not talking about a few accidental blips, I mean a substantial amount of deliberately loud ones.-Did not clean up after himself. He replaced a shower valve inside the wall and had to cut into the drywall. Drywall dust, chunks, and wood chips everywhere. Do the plumbers not have a vacuum? I am not asking him to be our maid, but for spending over $800.00, you would think he would just pick up the big stuff.-Gave us an attitude about not telling him we rented the house after telling him we had to check with the landlord about pricing. When I called the dispatch service, I told them we rented several times. Not our fault that information wasn't reported to the plumber.- I gave two stars because we used Roto-Rooter in the past and received excellent service. Both customer service reps I spoke with were very nice and extremely helpful. This plumber, despite the attitude about renting, not cleaning up, and lack of tact performed his job and was otherwise cordial.

Super great experience. Jim (1458) was able to arrive w/in a couple of hours of my call. He was polite and professional and completed the job quickly, leaving no mess. Even let a large bottle of pipe clog prevention treatments. Will definitely use again should the need arise.

Our service technician, Dwayne, responded timely and professionally. Shoe covers were on immediately after entering the home. A quick review of our drain clogs were completed, prices were disclosed clearly up front (they seemed a little high, but a 6 month warranty was included). Repairs were made in a short time, without any additional drain spillage. If you are looking for a quick response and professionals handling your drain problems, I would heartily recommend them,

Tom (760)We had to call you guys to come out a second time because Jason (the first tech) did not fix the problem. Tom went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right and he cleaned up after himself. Unlike Jason who looked like he just woke up and he was out of my house within 20 minutes obviously not fixing the problem. Tom did a great job!

Nick, Tech 399. He worked for a total of 5hr, He was very nice, and he was on time. He also went to the store to buy all the parts. I'm very glad he came out to help us. He was very quick and fixed the issue. I would recommend him to anyone.

Jason is an outstanding human and swell guy. He is knowledgeable, personable and professional. He was in no rush and took the time to listen to us and help us diagnose the issue we were having. Our main drain backed up for the third time since we have lived here (7 years). We had service each time and the problem continued. Jason took the time to listen to us and it turned out we have another line in our basement that was the “root” cause of our problem. (Yes that was a pun 😝)Please note this happened on Fourth of July weekend and Jason came to our emergency call around 4:30AM with a great attitude and a smile on his face.Not only did he help us with this, he had a team member out to our house with a camera within an hour of his departure, and with no charge. In the past we have been told we would need to call to set this up and there would be another $75 charge, thus we never did it.We are confident our issue has finally been resolved as Jason did remove quite a lot of debris from our second line. If we have a problem in the future we will call Roto-Rooter and request Jason.My husbands review: That guy was bad a%#.Hope this helps. 😀ADDENDUM: The camera guy/field supervisor just left and he was amazing also! Very kind, informative and professional. We now have a detailed understanding of what’s going on in our pipes and where there is potential for problems in the future. I'll probably never go anywhere else for emergency plumbing again. Thanksgiving morning with company coming, and my kitchen line clogs up. Second time that's happened in the last 12 years. I called RR then, too. Plumbing is expensive no matter who you call, and I called several early that day. RR won because they responded quickly, and they quoted a flat rate that in the end was less than the others' hourly rates, which usually included drive time. Some never responded, since it was a holiday. The guy who came was pleasant, professional and efficient. He was in and out by mid morning.

Tom (760) and Ace (261) we're absolutely awesome. We had to replace some new pipes and have new concrete poured. They worked on our house on there days off just to make sure our home got done fast. Thank you guys for everything you did and working our butts off. Everything looks and runs great.

We called for our bathtub and kitchen sink not draining. We live in an old house and have had to have the main line cleaned out previously. They gave me a two hour window at 7pm to come fix it. At 9:30 I called and they said I was still on their list. At 10:30pm I called back to reschedule for the morning since I never heard back. I asked for a first thing appointment since I had been waiting all night and she said she couldn’t guarantee that and could get someone there between 9-11am. Then I was told because they never came the night before they could do 8-10am. The technician came at 10:30am and cleaned out the main line as suspected. The technician was great! The price was twice as much as the company we used previously! When I informed him of this he told me about a coupon I could find online which saved me some money but I still ended up paying $70 more than with the other company that did the same exact thing. I would definitely shop around before counting on RotoRooter.

Called them late on a Saturday Night asking them to come out and snake my main line as it was backing up into my basement. They initially told me that it would be 4 Hours before they could make it. They ended up showing up hour and a half later. It only took him 20 minutes to get everything cleared and draining properly. They are also have complementary Camera service to see what the issue is. They are always a little on the pricey side but they offer great service and I can always count on them coming when I call.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Worked extra hard getting equipment down a narrow stairwell. Would recommend.

The service person was very good. He knew what to do and got the job work done in a timely manner. Everything was clean up and you did not know he was there or if any work was done.
