Best Replacement Drain in Kansas City MO

Unclogged the sink drain and identified the problem, great! That's lovely! Then tried to quote me $600 for an hour of work to swap the dead garbage disposal. No. In what world is $600 an hour even a vaguely reasonable fee to charge? I'll swap the under-$200 part myself, thank you very much.I asked about the reasons for such an insane service fee. They said in case we break it, and also that's time we could be spending unclogging other people's drains. Are they expecting to break it three times on average in the install? And yes, that cost for you coming out here instead of doing another job is the *service fee*.Did a great job unclogging the drain and all, that was $72, but trying to quote me a total of $800 to swap a garbage disposal is frankly ridiculous.

I was looking for a company that uses the pipe burst method to replace 90 feet of sewer line on my home, from the basement to the county main. My home is 97 years old with cast iron/clay tiles. Pat, the owner explained the process throughly, how many days it would take, the type of piping they use, and replacing the saddle on the county main line, was included. The price was great too!! Pat is very customer service oriented. He always answered the phone, and when I had to leave a voicemail, within minutes, he returned my call. The process took three days and at the end of each day, his crew made sure the workspace was clean of free of debris. At the end of the third day, Pat called the city inspector and they came out and gave their approval. If you are looking to replace a sewer line, look no further, chose Midwest Water & Sewer. Precision is unlike the multiple others who tried to fix our main line , as the others just told us that the job couldn't be done. But these two outstanding men both diagnosed the issue and didn't stop at anything to ensure the outcome of our problem was completed to our satisfaction. You know your day is not going well when the valve blows in your wall (shower enclosure) and you can’t shut it off. Email from Olathe utilities about it as our meter was a windmill - spinning that fast due to usage ( kudos for the email warning) Water to the house turned off & a call made at 8:02am this morning garnered us a spot on the schedule for the 11:00-2:00 pm. slot. Scott came out and saved the day! Efficiently whipped out the dated/broken apparatus and put a Moen workhorse set in its place. We won’t call any other plumber… rest assured they will promptly & efficiently solve your water woes. Thanks Scott!!!

Glenn, the technician sent, did a great job. Evaluated the probable source of the drain blockage and ran the camera to confirm. Ran the snake all the way to the main. Said the line was in good condition given it's age. No extra cleaning of that line needed. Going to have him back to ck another line at the other end of the house. Great service.
