My old water heater broke and I called a few places to get estimates. Chase was by far the most informative and responsive. His estimate was also very competitive. He installed the new water heater today. He was prompt and his work was excellent. He even made a few improvements over the original installation. He left the area clean after finishing the job. Found out our main sewer line was clogged yesterday, and then they were able to come out Christmas Eve and get it fixed! Super fast, very professional, and I highly recommend them! The price was great, especially for an emergency call during the holidays. Extremely happy with everything and it's fixed perfectly!

I have had Poor John's both do both large and small jobs; my experience has consistently been that they are prompt, courteous, have reasonable prices (frequently below those of the national firms) and do very high-quality work. They work with customers in ordering parts and supplies to get the best value. We need many more tradespeople like the folks at Poor John's in this area. Always glad to take business to local firms, I am thrilled to have found such a competent and trustworthy one. As a senior citizen who prefers to keep expenditures local when possible, I am certain Poor John's will receive all my plumbing business!

Update 6/6/22: Poor John's is 5-star again; got my drain running after a basement flood, got the water heater started again, and offered sound guidance for future steps. Prices remain reasonable even in a period where inflation is getting to us all. Highly recommend!

Called for a broken bathroom pipe replacement. I was installing a new sink and the old (80 yr. +) pipe broke. Called several other plumbing companies and was not able to get to me until the next day. Mr. Rooter was able to get to me within a couple of hours. Zack Olson was dispatched, showed up within a couple of hours and had the issue resolved within a couple more hours. Communications was great as I was kept informed throughout the entire process as to what was going on. Could not have asked for a better experience with a plumbing company. Would call Mr. Rooter again next time I need a plumber again in an emergency!
