I recently had to have my 90 year old clay pipe sewer line and house trap replaced. Unfortunately the sewer line also ran directly under a 50ft Oak tree. John's team arranged for the Tree removal, trench, pipe replacement, and removal of my old House trap in my home's foundation. Their bid came in under every other company that I got bids from, and included the tree removal, which other's did not. He's team was prompt, hard working, and responsible. Part of the City sidewalk was damaged by mistake when the tree was brought down, and John's team took care of making sure that the repairs to that got taken care of too. The day after they were done, I spent time with a tree root waterer, pumping water into the back filled trench/mound, and got it to settle about 1 foot down in under 3 hours. Without being prompted or asked, one of Johns crew drove by to see how the mound was settling, because I had told him my plans to pump the trench with water, saw how much it had dropped on Sunday already, and helped re-dress the mound and push more dirt into the settled trench. Their good guys and I highly recommend them, and thanks to them, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a good looking lawn again come spring time.

Mike went above and beyond to diagnose our water pressure issues. We have lived in our home for a year and a half and the water pressure was always a nightmare...Mike came to our home on a holiday, diagnosed the problem and preceded to repair the issue. I had Anthony at quick relief plumbing install a backflow preventer in the basement floor, move the main floor drain as well as rough-in for a new shower, toilet and sink in my basement. I have done multiple other renovation projects over the last several years and found these guys to be very professional. They did excellent work at a very good price. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing work you would have.

I was having water back up into my bathroom and my landlord had them come over. They were here for 20-30 minutes and then they just kind of left. I'm not having the problem anymore so I guess that means they fixed it, but just a confirmation would have been nice. I didn't know if they left and they had planned to come back or what. A 'We fixed it, have a nice day' would've been awesome.

Homeowners beware; do your research before contacting Mr. Rooter or “hiring” them to do work on your home. First and foremost, this is not about price, but about quality of work and ownership. The technician that came out to our home was very friendly; however, the owner was not. I had a hot water heater and approximately 6 feet of copper lines to the hot water heater that needed to be replaced. The old lines had a couple of saddle valves in them; I needed one of those for a connection to an ice maker in a fridge. Prior to any work being started, I clearly expressed I did not want another saddle valve installed due to their poor quality. With that having been said, I was under the assumption they would be replacing it with a ball valve connection. Once the work was completed, I noticed they used one of my old saddle valves in the new line for the ice maker. After having discussed this with the owner, he came off defensive and abruptly stated they did not have a new valve because they do not carry them due to their poor quality. The owner stated we would have to pay an additional cost for a different valve, however, given the price and work we agreed on, $1400, this should never have been a topic up for discussion AFTER the work was completed. The price of the hot water heater we received from Mr. Rooter is approximately $479 at Lowe’s, the ball valve is about $25. On a side note, according to HomeAdvisor, the average cost of a hot water heater installation in KC is $880. We were told by the owner that yes, we could have purchased from Lowe’s if we knew how to install or flat out said, we could have researched better and found a different plumber. I have to question the integrity of an owner who thinks it’s ok to run his business and allow his employees to re-install a used product against the wishes of their customers knowing this will affect the quality and efficiency of their customer’s homes in the future.

As every google user knows, each review is a he said she said situation so to quote Mr. Rooter you better do your research before doing business with them and I would suggest getting every detail in writing so there is no misunderstanding.

Mr. Rooter came back out and replaced the saddle valve with a ball valve at no additional cost.

My home warranty company sent Golden's for my plumbing issues and they arrived within the time frame they told me, and the plumber, Gabe, was very friendly and professional. G
He even gave us some tips to keep our drains from clogging and was able to get the part we needed right away and install it within an hour or so. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks!

There should be a special place in Heaven for Steve and Adam. I've utilized their services on numerous occasions and each time they were punctual, courteous, professional, economical, and more willing to be of service--even on problems that have nothing to do with plumbing--than anyone could ever expect of a tradesman. I recommend them as highly as possible.

My shower faucet blew up inside my shower wall last night. Called Kyle with Devoted Plumbing. Had to shut off the main water valve for the whole house and this morning he came by and removed the valve guts and left to get the replacement. Was back in a hour and fixed it! If you use him you will understand you wouldn't call anyone else. Great guy.
