From the time I decided to have a sump pump installed until the job was done was only three days. Roto Rotor never got back with me. Quick Relief Plumbing did an awesome job. After having my pump for about two plus years my pump got clogged up and it was my fault small debris from a cedar tree clogged it. Quick Relief Plumbing responded within a day. The rain had stopped and it was not an emergency. I won't call anyone else.

Allen was great! Super helpful, and friendly. Came out and worked with what I had already messed up. Was able to get my leak to stop for the day, and then came back the next day with the right part. Was done in less than an hour, and now our bathroom is completely dry. Highly reccomended!

Had a basement drain backup recently one evening after work, in our 80yr old home.
Called Alex to explain my situation and to see if they could send someone out that evening.
He said he could, but was very open about what that would cost me.
He said if there was any way that we could wait until the next day, that he could have someone come by when I got home from work at 5:30pm.

Long story short, they showed up on time, told me what it would cost and got right to work.
The Tech (Jason, I believe) was having a difficult time with the old plumbing, but with persistence he was able to clear my drain.
It only took a couple hours and the price was more than fair in my opinion.

I would definitely recommend them and I appreciated their fairness and transparency on what the repair would cost, and I appreciated them accommodating my work schedule. Kudos to Alex and Jason.

Highly recommended! We are very happy with our experience with Poor John's Plumbing (PJP). Our house is an Old Leawood single story with full basement, built 1955, still with original plumbing. Due to old galvanized pipeline deterioration with buildup of gunk, the H2O inflow over time had become slow/reduced throughout, to fully stopped in one shower line. PJP essentially rebuilt the water line(s) in the basement, replacing 84' of old pipe with 3/4 pex. PJP also replaced several interior old valves and shutoffs/supply stops as well as the outdoor garden hose hydrants. PJP also installed new plumbing for planned later installation of an apartment size upstairs washing machine in a walk-in closet between the master bedroom and bathroom.

After an initial visit to assess the problems and work up a bid, the same service technician (Rowdy) returned a few days later to complete the work over a 2-day period, with two additional technicians the second day to timely complete the job. The quality of the work is excellent, nothing unnecessary was done, and it's certainly a night and day difference in our water situation.

They pulled out toilet to fix the drain. They splattered my walls with sewage, tore up a piece of molding and spread the wax ring all over my floor and carpet. They also scraped he rest of the wax ring from their boots or something on the brick planter in my backyard. I learned that when I sat down on it. They did take money off my bill but my house was just remodeled and the damage and 2 hours we spent cleaning up after them was ridiculous. The owner told us that Mr. clean would remove the stains but it didn't. The bathroom will have to be repainted and a piece of trim replaced. It will cost more than they took off of the bill.
