I have done business with Plumbing Pro for about 15 years now, every time I have called I was either able to get the same day service or the next day service. They have been a very reliable company to work with ; the service guy Travis has a vibrant attitude. He brings a smile to my face every time I see him. Travis is polite; knowledgeable; informative; great asset for the company. When I have to deal with any kind of company I want a person that is going to be honest about what procedures are going to take place; & the dollar amount that I'm going to have to spend to get the job done. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Kansas City was contacted on a Friday to address a clogged sewer line. A repair technician responded, ran a metal snake into the line which did not clear the clog, then said a repair would have to be scheduled for the next week at a cost somewhere between $4,000 and $13,000. The technician charged $100 for the call, packed up and left, leaving the line clogged and the basement toilet unsecured to floor.

A different plumbing service was contacted the next day. A repair technician responded, quickly removed the clog, cleaned and flushed the line (many times), and reinstalled the toilet left unsecured by the previous company's technician. It was just a clog, not a broken or collapsed sewer line. Charged $198.

I was disappointed in the service provided by Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Kansas City. The thought of a plumbing repair bill as high as $13,000 and being stuck with a clogged sewer line from Friday 'till Monday did result in a fair amount of anxiety on my part.

I'm sure it depends on who answers the call since Roto-Rooter is a huge company but we've had great results with the plumber that showed up when our main line in the basement needed to be snaked. I just didn't have the hardware around to get down far enough. They showed up quite fast and got to work. Done in about 30 minutes and it's worked great ever since. I'll definitely be calling Roto-Rooter again, especially if it's the same one, because they'll unblock it for free.

I scheduled my sewer line to be cleaned & after only being at the house for 5 mins he stormed off like a child when I asked him to move his car. The most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. No contractor has ever been this rude to me.
