We were having issues with our water heater not ventilating properly. Inception Plumbing was able to fit us in the same day. They gave us a 4 hour window of when to expect someone to arrive. After struggling with my warranty company for 12 hours when the sewage line flooded our basement, Inception Plumbing swooped in with the rescue. Not only was Brittany incredibly patient, kind, and made me feel heard(I was trying not to cry after being awake for 28 hours dealing with this), but Chris was early and really made me feel like our problem--our emergency--was just as important to this company as it was to us.

Thanks to Chris, who is a legit rock star, and Inception Plumbing, I can now take a shower and wash this nightmare of a day off of me. And I learned something new about our sewage line, which I didn't think I could at this point! Seriously, I could write a short essay about how awesome Chris was and how he made me feel included in the process instead of dismissing me back upstairs like most other plumbers do. The pricing was some of the best I've ever encountered, a saving grace considering my home warranty will be reimbursing me, and the service was well worth the cost of paying upfront.

From the texts and emails keeping me updated and letting me know Chris was my service expert with his picture so I knew who to expect and when, to my over all experience with Chris, right down to clean up and payment, I don't think its possible to get a better plumbing service experience at this point. Short review: TOP NOTCH SERVICE. WOW!

Long review:
I had called a small handful of other plumbing businesses based on yelp reviews trying to get a licensed plumber to install a basin in my garage. The other businesses either wouldn't answer the phone, or wouldn't respond to emails. I finally googled plumbers near me and found Inception had great reviews and a high review count. I called them and the call was answered in just a few rings. The service advisor was very pleasant on the phone and collected some information. She said a technician was available this very morning for the basin install and had deployed someone before we even got off the phone.

I received a text and email with my technician's photo and a short bio to let me know who was on the way. Within 30 minutes, the technician, Dan B., had arrived. He was smiling and upbeat from the moment he arrived until he left. After I showed him the work I needed done, he arranged quotes for three options on his iPad: 1) doing just the in the wall portion of the plumbing, 2) doing the in the wall part as well as the full faucet/drain/basin hookup or 3) doing all of the work as well as providing the basin and a hardware warranty. I really appreciated that there were clear options and quotes to choose from.

Dan completed the work without needing any further intervention on my part. He left the job site clean and organized. It was clear that he took pride in his work and respected his customers. An absolute pleasure to work with. If there was anything that could be improved, and I'm really digging to find anything at all, giving the Techs credit card readers to skip the manual card entry would add a next level of professionalism and save a few seconds. We punched in my card info to the iPad, signed for the work and the payment, and it was done. Very smooth and professional.

I even got a follow-up phone call from Inception to make sure everything was to my liking and to be sure to call them if there was anything they could help with.

I told Dan as he was leaving that I hoped I didn't have an immediate need to call him back, but if anything does come up I wouldn't even think about calling anyone else. Inception and Dan B. are superstars! I'm sure it would be possible to call around and find a lower rate, but I value the quality of the work and the quality of the service and interaction. I will gladly to pay a fair price to keep a great business and a great technician in KC.

Plumber was a nice guy. Did the work well enough. Price seemed way too high. Unfortunately i had to do it quickly.

Two years ago Darryl came out and fixed a bathroom sink faucet. He also noticed the sewer vents in the basement weren't properly capped and took care of that. We talked about all the other plumbing issues in an old house that had not had much attention, including the water heater which no longer would pass code. I called Inception this week because I was ready to replace the water heater and all the old plumbing. Darryl's technician Andrew came out, looked things over and gave me a quote. He and Darryl came out before 8 am on Friday morning and worked until almost 7 pm. They tore out old plumbing in the basement including pipes to the the kitchen and bathroom, and all is new, including a new up-to-code water heater and vent. Darryl and Andrew were wonderful. Our basement is icky and they were pleasant and cleaned up their work, including some of the dirt that was there before them. Everything looks and works great. Just like before, Darryl fixed a few other things along the way that we hadn't talked about like replacing the outside faucets. I am so happy with this company and highly recommend them.

I found Inception Plumbing on Google and found comfort in their high star rating and numerous satisfied customer reviews. I spoke with Lindsay, who made the entire process super easy, and they were willing to work around my crazy schedule. I received text confirmations of the service date, as well as, photo ID of the guy who would be showing up. This showed great communication on their part. James went right to work after addressing the concerns I had. He then took time to talk to me about all the ways in which he could fix it. The fact that I was given numerous options helped me make a decision based on what I actually needed done and also what i could afford. James did a wonderful job and fixed it right up. It was such a relief to work with a great company that has awesome people and gives quality work.

The repair personnel, Kyle, was unbelievably clever at fixing a series of problems we had with the plumbing off our hot water heater. Highly recommend this company, but in particular, this technician.

Water main needed to be replaced. As a new-ish home owner, I was terrified and had a ton of questions. James and his team were incredible, patient, and hard-working. They did everything they could to restore our water same day - including staying late to set up a temp line when they ran into an unexpected issue. For digging in the dirt, they were incredibly tidy, and apart from the missing grass, you’d never know our lawn had a 50 foot man-sized trench in it now that they’re done. We’ve had a ton of work done on our 89 year old home in the last year, and they were the best contractors we’ve ever had out. 10/10, as long as we’re in KC, they’ll have our plumbing business.

Was able to fit us in despite being pretty well booked up for several weeks. He arrived to my house early and fixed our toilet problem super fast (less than 15 minutes). I also really appreciate that he was in, fixed the toilet, and left without waking up my napping babies! We will definitely be calling Inception Plumbing again if we have any other plumbing problems.

He did this so I wouldn't need to call him again about this particular sink. He gave up future business on this sink to ensure a great client experience and a happy client. Needless to say, this was yet again another super experience when working with Inception Plumbing and I'll be calling again on the next one, just not for the same clogged sink thankfully! I recently closed out a kitchen renovation that inception helped on. I got a call from the homeowner days later on a Saturday that there was water leaking in their basement from a drain pipe. This particular drain line had nothing to do with the renovation we completed. Yet Daryll still came in on a Saturday to assess the issue and fix it in the same day.
I’ve also had many occasions during the week where there was an emergency and the Inception team always came through immediately for us.

The technician, Darin, came out in a timely manner and I like that they sent a picture for reference in the text message so I knew who was showing up. He walked me through everything and explained in detail what was wrong, how things work, and how he would fix it. I will for sure being them for all my plumbing needs.

They installed a new water heater, and shampoo bowls for our Salon. Very knowledgeable, prompt, and professional. Wow these guys came to my house and cleared two drains and got the water flower better than it has in yrs!

The plumbers working for this company are CLEARLY commission paid. Clearly. No other possible explanation for my experience with them. I called Inception plumbing and requested a quote to repair a leaking shut off valve for an investment property. They quoted me $14,000!! Yes you read that correctly. 14k! They didn’t give me good, better, best options with a range. Just the most expensive option with no alternatives. They simply quoted me what it would cost to redo everything. I called AB May and they quoted me $1,400. Far more sensible. I ultimately got a guy to do the work for $800. $14,000 is outrageous. I will NEVER use Inception plumbing again.

James and Dan came to install a gas cooktop for me. They were prompt, courteous, and answered every question I could think of about what they were there to do as well as other projects I'm planning. They were quick to complete the work but did not hurry me while I was asking questions. Probably not the cheapest service in town but I feel comfortable about the quality of the service they provided and will use them again.

Dan Blair was our technician. He was professional, listened and answered all of our questions about the needed repair along with his friendly personality. I would highly recommend this company based on my experience with Dan Blair!

James Royals was great. He installed the Moen Flo, and was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. I highly recommend him as well as Inception Plumbing.

Our sink wasn't working for days, so we decided to get help from Inception Plumbing. The plumber we got was Darin Walters. He was able to fix the sink within an hour or two. He was very kind to us as well. We will definitely be calling this plumbing service from now on.

This is a great plumbing company to work with. We purchased an older home that was renovated recently. They never replaced the outdoor water spigot and of course closed the pipes in with sheet rock. It was a really tough job to change out. Darin came in and accessed the situation and made a great decision on how to fix the issue. He was able to reply the spigot and do minimal damage to my finished bar area. Very pleased and now have no stress worrying about frozen pipes coming next winter. Oh, also love the fact that I now can water my front yard plants. They’re not cheap, but they do amazing work.

Please look elsewhere and get estimates before using this company!! They came to look at my garbage disposal. He told me it was jammed and to un jam it, it would cost over $300. Immediately no! I paid the $50 service fee. And you tubed it! It was the simple fix! I can’t believe they were going to charge me that much!!! Also I did end up calling someone else who only charged me $50 to un jam it, who said when I was ready for a new garbage disposal, he had a good one for $400 with installation. Inception plumbing with going to charge me over $800 for a new one. I cannot stand company’s who scam people.

Ours was not a routine job. We needed gas service extended to a new swimming pool site. Inception Plumbing has done very well with our request. They promptly came out, reviewed our site, and provided an estimate. Their work has been excellent. They installed the exterior gas line section and due to my mistake, the inspection by the county was 2 weeks coming: the gas line held pressure as required for the inspection that entire time. Upon passing the inspection, backfill and grading was completed with care. Their staff, office and field, is very pleasant to deal with. We will be calling these guys for any future plumbing services.

James showed up on time, explained his diagnosis of the problem and let me choose the course of action. He and Bryce then installed the new water heater, ensured it worked correctly and cleaned up after the job. They were careful with our floors and carpeted stairs. A+

James and the rest of inception have been fantastic throughout the entire process. Their transparency and professionalism is as good as you could hope for and their fair pricing and quality of work is top notch. Will be using them for all future plumbing requests and recommending them to everyone I know.

I had Inception come out to check out a basement drain that was backed up. The first guy who showed up said he didn't have the camera, so a second guy had to come. But this second guy, before even looking at anything, immediately started telling me the doom and gloom about how expensive these issues can be, and don't worry, I'll sit down with you and give you options. Again, this was BEFORE he'd even looked at anything, so really he was a salesperson and not there to solve my real problem. In the end, the lowest priced option he gave me was $4K (which also involved tearing out part of my driveway and basement floor, which would be additional expenses to fix), with a mid-level one at $12K and another at almost $30K! The company was very high pressure, bombarding me with texts and e-mails. I got another opinion, and found out they didn't really even clean the drain properly, and this other plumber offered me options they didn't even mention. In the end, it cost me $350 with another plumber to do what they should have done on the first visit, plus another $50 for Root-X to do some DIY cleaning. This is after I already paid Inception $97 for their special to clean drains that they didn't really clean.

Inception and the tech, Chris, were very pleasant and quick to respond. They weren't able to resolve our issue (no fault of their's), but provided suggestions to the next step.

Inception Plumbing has provided both repair and installation services for us with above-and-beyond response time. All of their technicians are knowledgeable, candid, incredibly considerate of a work from home world (in terms of noise level), and easy to talk to. We have recommended them to just about everyone who will listen!

My rating covers two technicians: Kyle Slavens for gas line and James Royals for sewer line. I am very happy about both services I received.
I am not rating for technicians to be on time or not, nor for waiting for staying in line for services. There are many factors, beyond companies' control, that can cause delay and wait. But in my case, the technicians did come on time and with minimum waiting.
Here is what I rated for. I first requested a check of my sewer system and was told to wait several days, which is reasonable. Then two days later, I found out a mysterious line and wanted to have it removed to provide space for a DIY project in yard. All large utility companies were called and could not and would not figure out the line. But I would have to know for my project. I emailed to Inception and specifically requested if a gas plumber could come at earliest convenience. They were able to send Kyle Slavens over in hours. Have to say again, if they had told me to wait days, it would still be reasonable. Kyle was super professional, patient, courteous and knowledgeable. I have a large house with uncommon network of pipes inside and outside. Kyle wanted to check several areas that I initially dismissed, since I had multiple plumbers and handymen worked on my house prior. Kyle insisted in his checking of the entire network (three furnaces and unused heat pump for abandoned swimming pool etc.), and areas covered with vines and shrubs on a creek bank. I had never had my line so thoroughly checked prior. At the end, Kyle made a very firm and clear determination of the mysterious line. I myself work at a large utility place and am familiar with the proper and diligent investigation approaches. I have to say that I am very impressed by Kyle's practice. Incredible!
Since the finding was that the line has to be kept in place and there is no service work needed to address it, Kyle did not send me an invoice. Compared with multiple plumbing companies I have used before for my this and other properties, that is a happy surprise. I still think that I should at least cover the time and gas. I will wait for the sewer inspection result and decide how I would do.
Here is the sewer line work. The 1950s house has a typical old system with cast iron pipe inside and red clay pipe outside. Both inside and outside pipes have issues and over the years, I had multiple plumbing companies to clear the cloggage or do a video. Now since I am planning to have the pipe replaced, I would need to know my best option. I had a couple of other companies to come over to give me a recommendation and an estimate. It usually took less than 10 minutes to jump to some recommendation and cost. James was very patient and carefully tracing the line as far as the camera could reach. When the camera got stopped at the blockage, James provided me with different options and explained to me about pros and cons for each option. He was very resourceful and diligent in finding a different access to check further to reduce the length of unknown pipe condition. He was courteous and kept me well informed during the process. I feel very confident about his analysis and recommendation at the end. He is a highly competent plumber and provides excellent customer service. Superior!

He also told me to let Lowes know about all of my damage and thanks to that info Lowes will be paying for all my water damage. For now on, I will only use Inception.

I tried several companies and Inception was the only one that had a REAL person to answer the telephone! The others had answering machines and not one returned my call. They were prompt and friendly. Discussed the fix and quoted a price. Their employee James was very nice and professional. The problem turned out to be bigger then what we expected a new price was quoted and the problem was fixed. I contacted Inception Plumbing online and they called me the very next day. I had done the same for multiple other plumbing companies with no response. Inception offered to come out that same morning to check my clogged kitchen drain. They were able to get my kitchen drain unclogged within 1-2 hours of arrival. I had a previous company come out that couldn’t resolve the issue after multiple trips. Their pricing was up front and I knew what I was agreeing to pay before they began work. Inception also followed up with a thank you card, which was a nice touch. Would recommend to others in the KC area.

Recently purchased my home with a known cracked cast-iron pipe that couldn't be repaired before closing. Reached out to Inception Plumbing due to proximity and good reviews. They offered me 2 quotes for repairing the cracked section or replacing the cast iron completely. After receiving other bids for similar work in the same cost range, I decided to use Inception.

Quality was excellent, minimal holes in the wall (which were necessary). Explained up front before work that they do not do dry-wall repair, so expectation was set. Was charged exactly what I was quoted for the bid, no attempt to raise price or upsell anything. Nobody wants to pay for plumbing repair, but if you have to, I'd recommend Inception Plumbing. My serviceman James was great.

Prompt arrival and very informative!

I live in an older home with 60 year old pipes. I have been putting off repairs with DIY tactics and was getting by until last week. My bathtub developed the clog of all clogs and after much frustration and about 50 bucks worth of stuff I gave up and called Inception Plumbing. I spoke with Lindsey and after answering all of my questions, she scheduled me in a two hour window, 48 hours later, which was acceptable. On my service day I was alerted by text that they would be there in a few minutes. When the truck arrived, I had the pleasure of meeting James, who was wearing the proper PPE and was keeping 6ft away from me. He did this for both of our sakes and I really appreciated it. James inspected my clog problem along with several other areas of concern. These included a very fragile cast iron pipe which was connected to a kitchen sink construction that had seen it's better day, many years ago. At that point he gave me three options, fix only the initial issue in the bathroom which meant replacing some old pipes. Option #2, fix initial problem and replace that other fragile pipe, or, option # 3 fix initial, replace fragile pipe and fix the kitchen sink problem. Every option was explained to me in detail and PRICING WAS ESTABLISHED AT EACH OPTION. I liked the way this was going so I chose option# 3. James went to work and I was really impressed by his skills, both at customer service and plumbing, the guy worked hard for hours and was cheerful the whole time. When he finished his work everything went the way he explained it and there were no surprises. James cleaned up after himself and everything worked perfectly. After James left, Lindsey called me to see how things went and if I was happy with the service. I am very satisfied and now have some one to call when that old water heater goes out!--Kevin S.

My hot water heater tank busted a couple days ago and the water was just consistently pouring out so I had to shut off my hot water in my house. My kids showers didn't work on cold alone, just mine, so yesterday I called Inception Plumbing and they were out installing a new hot water heater two hours later. They had been out before too give me options and prices when I first started having issuing so I knew it would be $$$$ to fix and that's why I waited so long. With that said I would never work with a different company because they do excellent work and yesterday, Matt did stellar workmanship for my family.

Inception Plumbing is the #1 plumbing service in Kansas City! I own a remodeling business and we utilize their services often. Recently, my demo crew inadvertently stripped the water main gate valve when shutting the water off. I called Darrell for advice, and he confirmed that I would need a new water main installed. His company was able to send a technician out right away, despite being late into the afternoon. The technician was able to install a new water main (ball valve) and they had the customer's water back up and running in very little time!

Word to the wise: if your home has a gate valve for the water main, call Inception Plumbing now to schedule a replacement with a proper, updated ball valve. In the future, I won't hesitate to have them replace these when I see them.

Matt Toll installed a water line to my refrigerator, he was thorough and explained every step in detail. He also took the time to point out a few other concerns he noticed in my basement with the chimney (which he didn’t have to do and made nothing off of that, but I thoroughly appreciated him pointing out this issue). The work took about two hours and I am very pleased with the services he provided!

Beware!! Make sure you get another estimate!! I needed a new water line ran to the house. Inception quote was $12,102!! I got another estimate from another major plumbing company and it was $6,200!!! For the exact same job that has to pass the city inspection!!
The Inception rep said they are not the cheapest. But double the cost?????

Have had nothing but positive experiences with every single person I’ve interacted with from Inception. Have used them for a sewer line liner as well as less financially painful repairs. The techs do not try to upsell you garbage you don’t need. They just work their tails off to fix the problem at hand and are incredibly nice while doing so. As long as they continue to operate as they do now, I will never call another plumbing company.

We had a second floor clog that required some real effort on the part of the plumber. It ended up requiring two separate days of effort for the same issue. Chris, our service expert. was exceedingly polite and accommodating, and the company followed up after service to ensure we were fully satisfied. Excellent experience.

A live person will answer the phone. That's the first exception to the rule. Three other plumbers use voice mail and only one called me back three days later. Dan showed up Monday morning, up sold me on replacing all three faucets instead of just fixing the one. Main point, the new models have accessible diverters if I did want to DYI the sprayer in the future. Also new installs have year warranty. The stem on the bath tub needed replaced, turned out to be the extender not the valve. I took the package deal and joined the club so if I do have an emergency leak I won't have to wait for a call back. Dan spent from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm and I spent $1700 for 3 new kitchen faucet sets and bathtub faucet repair. Best deal in town? Maybe, maybe not but don't care. All done and no worries or mess.

The tech arrived explained what services he offered and pricing. After I picked the service I wanted he started. He worked to remove the blockage but was unsuccessful. Next he got another piece of equipment and after working for a while was able to removed the blockage.

I have no idea how this place has good reviews. I've been trying to schedule them for 3+ weeks to come out and give an estimate for sewer line repair. I'd told them that I could work from home and be available any time with notice--and the only time they responded in weeks was to call and tell me that they had a tech finish a job early and could be at my house in 10 minutes. Apparently 10 minutes is notice when you're already at work. They also refuse to give even an average, wide ballpark cost range for sewer lining without charging you for an official estimate (literally the only company in KC that I've found that charges for estimates).

I have wanted a downstairs bathroom for at least 10 years. Since my house was not constructed with that in mind and had no plumbing in the basement, the bathroom remained just a dream. When an acquaintance recommended Darrell with Inception Plumbing, I finally realized my dream and the best improvement to my 23-year-old home. Darrell spent time to help me lay out the most cost effective, convenient floor plan for the bathroom and recommended a reliable pump and shower facilities. Darrell patiently answered the numerous questions I asked and explained in detail the working of the system. The clean up after the installation was practically non-existent as Darrell left the area cleaner than when he arrived. I could not have asked for a more skilled, polite, pleasant person to work at my home. I’m extremely happy with the end result. I finally have the bathroom I have always wanted! We recently finished our basement and received outstanding service from Inception. Our finish included the relocation of underground piping, as well as rough and finish plumbing for a kitchen sink, bathroom sink, shower and toilet. We had Inception Plumbing come out for service for several issues we were having with a new home including lack of hot water, lack of water pressure, and a water back up issue in our basement. We worked with technicians Tim and James who were very friendly and efficient. They explained the issues to us and provided multiple quotes for us to choose from. We did not feel any pressure and the pricing was clear and concise. Office staff, in particular Brittany, kept us informed about appointment times and delays. They kept in constant contact which was really nice. Communication was great. It isn’t fun to spend money on plumbing issues, but it is definitely easier when the company and people you’re working with are kind and responsive, quick and dependable, and aren’t trying to pressure you. We had a great experience and will use Inception in the future.

Came home on Saturday around 1:30 to find water dripping from ceiling in utility room. Called Inception plumbing because they were rated well and close by.

Spoke with Darrell and he arrived within the hour as he said he would. It was fairly difficult to access the leak, I have a back-to-back bathroom layout. Darrell quickly removed toilet, and cut an access hole... very tidy, he did not leave a bit of drywall dust. He showed me exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done.

We've used Inception Plumbing for a few small things since my wife and I purchased our Brookiside-era home in 2020. A few weeks ago we noticed mold on the basement floor. Once the active leak was identified by the insurance-issued mitigation team, Inception was out the same day to diagnose the issue. They presented us with 3 quotes, progressing in scope and price. Each option was well-explained and digestible for the average homeowner. We decided on the repair option and the guys were out the next morning. Repairs were completed, including unforeseen costs not captured in the original estimate, for the price presented at the service call.

The folks at Inception Plumbing are not only professional and responsive, but genuine, fun, and caring. My wife and I had an issue where our main gas line had a severe leak. At the time, we had had another company with whom we had used before, come out and take a look. We were told we would have a bid that night, latest next morning. We didn't have a bid for an entire week, during which we too, didn't have gas. No gas meant no hot water-no showers, no clean clothes, and no clean dishes. We sought help through Inception for a secondary opinion and from the start were met with care and concern. Finishing our project promptly, thoroughly, and reliably. Inception is absolutely our go-to for any jobs here on out and would happily recommend them to those looking for their services.

Kyle was really professional and honest. He got my main problem fixed but let me know of other options for things I can do in the future and wasn’t pushy about it. For this trip we just needed our water pressure fixed but we will use them in the future for other plumbing needs!

I called for what I thought was an issue with a clogged drain. Turns out it was just the AC condensate line that was clogged which left my basement floor soaked. My tech Andy Duquette was great and immediately realized what the problem was. I then thought I was going to have to call an AC company to get this thing unclogged but he went above and beyond and looked at it for me and got it unclogged. He even looked at my hot water heater for me and told me it looks to be in great shape for its age. I was only charged the $49 travel fee. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great customer experience and more than fair pricing!

We have a terrible smell in our basement, we have ruled out a dead mouse so thought it might be a sewer line. I thought it could be a sewer line under the slab that was leaking and thought scoping the sewer line under the slab might be a good place to start. James, along with Dan, looked at the situation, James found a cracked plug, which he replaced and proceeded to scope the drain. The lines looked good with the exception of line for a bath that was put in for future use when the house was originally built in 1975. We discussed some options there was no pressure to act on any of these options, which we appreciate we are going to see if the new cap has taken care of the issue first then go from there. Both James and Dan were very nice and respectful, very easy to let them in our house. A great reflection in how the owner or owners are and want their business to operate. I will be using them in the future.

I own a 65 year old home in Waldo, and recently needed a plumber to replace a cracked cast iron pipe that ran from the upstairs guest bath down through the basement. I called Inception Plumbing to assess my sump pump which wasn't working. Mind you, I had all my plumbing lines replaced and re-installed in my basement when I bought my house 5 yrs ago. So this young technician, from the company, came out to my house and informed my that I will have to replace all my plumbing and a new sump pump and the total cost was going to $1,300.00. I about crawled out of my skin and was going to attack him. I said, you got to be kidding me!!! Do you see how I have new plumbing? All I need is a sump pump . I immediately refused, paid the $50.00 service call, and told him I will never use this company again or recommend to anyone. I felt he was taking advantage of the price because I am a 60 yr. single woman and didn't have a husband or man around. Guess what, I got a new sump pump and installed for $300.00 by my neighbor. DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBING SERVICE!!!!!!!

I had a plumbing issue that needed to be addressed asap. Not knowing who to call, I googled names of plumbing companies in my area. I choose Inception Plumbing based on the high marks of others, that engaged their service.
They showed up on time and was very easy to communicate with. Detail of repairs and billing amount, was explained, before I authorized the work to be done.
I can honestly say, that I would recommend their service, without hesitation.

This was our first time using Inception Plumbing and I was very happy with the service. Our technician was Chris Mitchel and he was friendly and personable and was very thorough with his work. I like that I received a text notification before Chris arrived and it included a photo so I knew who to expect. He offered a few different solutions for our issue which I also liked. I will be using inception in the future if we have any other issues.

Inception Plumbing has been a breath of fresh air for me. After being burned multiple times by the big companies around KCMO, with unnecessary work and outrageous prices.. it was nice to finally find an honest plumber. Lee is the best. He only suggests work that is actually needed at the time, explains options and pricing was fair and affordable.

Responsive and honest service. Promptly returned my call. Needed a kitchen faucet replaced. They were able to service it within two days and I was very pleased. Plumbing services are not cheap, but they realiablely and resasonably answered all my ?'s. Services are warranted and that is reassuring. Highly recommend and would use them again.

Giving Inception Plumbing 5 stars isn’t enough credit for the exceptional experience and service I received from them. From the first phone call to set the appointment to technician leaving my driveway and everything in between. While having foundation work done I was told that I needed my water heater and some plumbing moved away from the foundation before they could proceed with the foundation work. Inception was the first and only call I had to make to get it done on the same day I called. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and professional told me they could have a tech out by 4pm he was there by 1. The tech was able to get the job done in enough time for the foundation guys to continue working. I look forward to calling Inception anytime I need plumbing done.

Had a surprise of a damaged flange, but I called Inception (I’m a repeat customer x3 already!) and they were able to come out within a few hours - Darin was able to do a repair and make it much more cost effective than I anticipated, and he had it completed in no time. Chris Mitchel came out to do a whole house inspection. He was very thorough, answered my questions, and explained his work. Found a leak in a bathroom, provided a cost and made the repairs. He also helped with an outdoor spicket for me. Very professional and polite.

Basement flooded. Andrew came first thing in the morning to take a look and then came back two days later to dig a deeper pit and install and new sump pump. He hit bedrock and ended up being here for over 10 hours. His colleague came to help for a few hours as well. Both knowledgable and hard working. Exceptional service.

Technicians were on time and courteous. Work was completed neatly as requested. Cost was higher than I expected ($1,200 for four hours of labor plus parts), but I may be out of touch with industry rates. Update: bathtub drain started leaking into our basement the day after work was performed. Technicians came the next business day and repaired the work for free.

Justice was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was extremely helpful in making sure I understood the problems at hand and was extremely accommodating. He seemed very honest and forthcoming about all the work being done. I would definitely recommend their services, especially for people who aren't familiar with these sorts of things!

Very pleased with the prompt response and high level of workmanship I received. Darrell wasted no time fixing my leaky shower and showed me what happened and how to keep it from ever happening again. His clean cut into my ceiling was very smooth and square, and easy to patch after he left. Would recommend Inception to anybody!

Very happy with James' and Scotts performance. They didn't try to hard to sell me from the start and not even after they were scheduled for a more extensive job and I wanted a lesser job based on circumstances. I manage several properties and will definitely do business with Inception again and will recommend to friends.
