I had a very positive experience with this company today dealing with a clogged sewer pipe. It was easy to set up an appointment, the plumber was on time, and he was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and masked. Best of all, the price was very reasonable. What a relief to have the problem fixed so quickly and efficiently.

I was hopeful to be supporting a locally owned and operated business and had requested a quote. The plumber came for our diagnostic appointment and we went through the various projects that I was looking to complete and I thought the diagnostic went well and was informed that I would need a clean out installed prior to starting work. Austin water completed work fairly quickly and I reached back out to Austin Plumbery requesting the quote that had been promised. It took over a month and a half and several requests to finally get the quote. When I reviewed the quote. It was as if everything we went through wasn’t even noted and only one of the work requests I had asked for was quoted. I feel completely gypped. Ok, I understand if you have to charge a diagnostic fee, but come diagnose and not even remember or move forward with requests afterwards is poor customer service. I will not be moving forward with the work with this company. The lack of attention to detail is a clear red flag to any future work.

I purchased a home several years ago that was built in the 1960's. Unfortunately, the home still had its original sewer and drain cast iron lines. After clearing several clogs and performing spot repairs it was clear that the cast iron pipes were past their life expectancy. After getting several bids, I hired Starr Sewer and Drain to replace the entire system (120 feet of tunneling). Office person, Stephanie, was very pleasant and called me back as promised to give estimated costs. My tech was Nick who came out on time and listened to all of my concerns and needs. He was very polite and did a good job. I appreciated the way he didn't just leave, but checked to make sure items were working correctly. In doing that he found a broken part that he had to replace. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a bit of a mess to clean up afterwards. However, the work done would be 5 stars! I am so excited to have found a quality plumber! I will use them again.
