WORST EVER!! They had one job to tighten the valve and they came over, couldn’t fix it and created two other issues which were not there before. Charged me $100 just to tighten it and to ensure that there is no leak, I was in a meeting the whole time Jose was working. After 10 minutes he says it’s done, I asked him if the water is leaking or not and he said it’s not.Paid them and an hour later went to use the bathroom, saw this - the water was everywhere. Called them, they blocked my number as well.PLEASE DON’T call them for service!!

We had an amazing experience with this company! We contacted Austin area plumbing because my sellers had a sewer backup a week before closing. Even though it was an after hours call we had a return call quickly and had a technician out the next morning. The quote for repair was very fair and the technician explained in detail what the charges would be before he started. As a realtor, we rely heavily on the trades during the sale of a home and Austin Area Plumbing is definitely a company I would recommend to anyone!
I had an awesome experience with Austin Area Plumbing! During the process of selling our home, the inspection report showed that one of our water heaters was about to blow. My realtor recommended AAP and set up a service call. John came out on a Saturday to inspect the water heater. Sure enough, it was a goner. He came back out on Tuesday, with Tony to replace it completely. They had it done in about 45 minutes to an hour. They were super nice and knowledgeable! Dennis, the owner, gave us a great deal! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!
Austin Area Plumbing is the best. Their man, Eddie Pollack, is top notch. His professionalism, knowledge and personality illustrated to me what Customer Service used to be like. He arrived on time and ready to get started. In less than 30 minute he had the old water softener unit out and was preparing the copper lines for the new one. The physical install was accomplished in 30 or 40 minutes. The subsequent programming of the valve took about 10 minutes. Eddie checked and rechecked all connections for leaks. One was discovered and the root cause was quickly repaired.I highly recommend Austin Area Plumbing and Mr. Pollack to anyone needing plumbing work. He personifies professionalism and a sense of pride in his work. He demonstrated an earnest willingness for helping the customer understand what is required and what will be performed. I plan on using them for all my future plumbing work.
We had a leak under driveway - needed it fixed today. Austin Area Plumbing responded quickly and sent a repair person (Nick) within a few hours. Nick made sure it was repaired correctly and was diligent to complete the job so we could turn on our water! Thanks Nick for a great job!
Austin Area Plumbing has been the best plumbers for me! They're customer service is always willing help you over the phone and walk you through some things to try on your own. Dennis Damer has decades of experience in plumbing, and is a pretty cool guy to do business with. Give them a call for honest, quality work.

Our hot water heater was not supplying enough hot water for 2 or 3 people to take showers. We bought a new hot water heater and Pierre arrived at our house ready to install it. In the process, he offered to test our existing hot water heater (which was not that old) to see if he could fix it and save us the expense of a new one. He was able to fix it and we cancelled the new hot water heater. He was so honest and forthright. We will definitely use them again and recommend Austin Area Plumbing & Drain company to all of our friends!
Dennis and the Austin Area Plumbing team are professional, knowledgeable and affordable. Finding a good plumber can be difficult and nerve racking because we usually need them at the worst moments. Finding a trustworthy, reliable company and specialist like Dennis is a rare find. Look no further for your plumbing needs.

I hired Austin Area Plumbing to replace a drain pipe in my slab, which required extensively excavating under the house. Dennis took the time to explain the whole process to me, brought out an engineer to make sure the structure wasn't adversely affected by the excavation and quoted me a very fair price for a very large project. During the project, Pierre installed a new hot water heater and replaced all my old, broken shut-off valves and DIY mistakes, again for a very reasonable price. Austin Area Plumbing was prompt, courteous, clean and reasonable. They gave me a full warranty on all their work and I could not be more pleased. They are the most professional, competent plumbers I have used since living in Austin. I highly recommend them.
Very happy with the work Johnny and Tony did repairing my bathtub Faucet, which included having to tear into the wall and replace a section of pipe that had twisted off.I called at 10am and had an appointment scheduled for 2-4pm same day. Johnny called at 2:30 to say they were on their way. A quick assessment and estimate was provided and within an hour they were done for a very reasonable price.Very happy and not only will I use Austin Area Plumbing again, but I'll be letting a large number of others know as it seems people are always looking for a good plumber.
James & Austin Area Plumbing helped us with our old permit issue very professionally and effectively. Mycol was great and worked till very late to finish the job on Friday evening. we appreciate their top quality work and highly recommend their service

The company is efficient and cost effective. They came same day we called when we're ready for our water heater to be changed. The owner Dennis himself inspected and changed the appliance. He was very nice and accommodating. They worked on it faster than we expected. The Staff is very nice and flexible. Thank You.

Highly Recommend! Dennis is top notch. He has done work for me for years but I recently had his foreman, Pierre, and another guy Danny come out and repair a huge slab leak for me and they did excellent work. I am so pleased. I always know the pricing is more than fair. Dennis is the one businessman I can still trust to run a clean show. If you need plumbing work done by licensed, professional plumbers, call Dennis.

Well, hot damn. I wish every business was run this well with the same caliber of people. Wow.I recently bought a fixer-upper of a home and been working with a number of contractors and sub contractors, electricians and plumbers, etc. Austin Area Plumbing is the first company I have been wow-ed by.The admin, Amanda, is super friendly and even remembered me from the last time I called them two months ago. Scheduling was easy, and they do same day service.I'm not sure I want to tell anyone about Pierre for fear that he'll be too busy to take my calls, but that man is all good things. He called 30 minutes ahead of the appointment to let me know he was on his way. Amanda had said he would be there between 9am and 11am. He was there at 9am on the dot. He's courteous and is really good at explaining/teaching, doesn't upcharge for anything, always looking to save me money, and really fun to chat with all around! Pierre is my plumber for life. They just moved into larger offices and are expanding into all areas of home repair and remodeling. Their prices are super fair and it's a really well run operation. They have built their business on doing good work, and they are growing quickly because of it.

We had an emergency to fix a leaky kitchen faucet. They were able to come that afternoon, and it was a free consultation visit. The service provider was polite and very helpful. He actually directed us to contact the manufacturer to receive a replacement part free-of-charge, and he was right - we called and got a free part. I would highly recommend this company!

I would highly recommend this company. I had a very bad experience with another plumber who disappeared half way through a job. I called Austin Area Plumbing & Drain and was told Bo would be out in a few hours. Not only was he out to our house quickly he was able to fix all the issues we had as a result of the previous plumber. Everytime I called, they were extremely helpful and Bo was at my home as promised. The work Bo did was outstanding and his polite, respectful manner was wonderful. I plan on calling this company and asking for Bo for all my future plumbing needs.
Office person, Stephanie, was very pleasant and called me back as promised to give estimated costs. My tech was Nick who came out on time and listened to all of my concerns and needs. He was very polite and did a good job. I appreciated the way he didn't just leave, but checked to make sure items were working correctly. In doing that he found a broken part that he had to replace. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a bit of a mess to clean up afterwards. However, the work done would be 5 stars! I am so excited to have found a quality plumber! I will use them again.
Technician Mycol found a leak in my supply line very quickly using a probe and listening device. I was lucky the leak was outside and not in the slab. Mycol was able to complete the repair the same day. Nice guy, knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing, and had everything he needed to complete the repair. I would recommend this company based on my experience today.
Mycol got me set up with a new water heater during an install that included hauling out the old leaking stone age one from my attic which hardly fit through the attic exit. Not anything I wanted to mess with. Definitely a hard job but got the new one in and up to code in an afternoon.

We were experiencing a number of issues in our house and called Austin Area Plumbing & Drain to come out and take a look at them. Dennis was great! His knowledge and experience allowed him to easily diagnose and resolve the issues. If you have issues, Austin Area Plumbing and Drain can fix them. Thanks!
I had a leaking drain pipe and called Austin Area Plumbing and Drain out to my home to repair it on Sept 29th to fix it. When the plumber started to work, he was in a hurry and carelessly damaged another drain pipe with a power saw. I witnessed him do it and he said that he just nicked it and it won’t leak. I looked at it and it was clearly through the pipe, so we tested it and it leaked very badly. He patched the pvc pipe with putty, and it no longer leaked. I told him I was very concerned with the longevity of that type of repair. He then went on to repair the original leaking pipe. Finished the job, but at the time did not test it. I paid him and told him that I was upset with the other damage he caused, and had him write on the receipt what he had done. We used the (drain that we had initially called him out to repair) the following day and it gushed water instead of just leaking. This caused damage our drywall and ceiling.I called them back and told the lady on the phone what happened, she was very nice about it and said they would send him back out to fix it as soon as they were available. I requested they send someone else out because I was upset that the first plumber being careless. She said she understood, said no problem, and said she would send out their best guy and apprentice to take a look. I asked if I would have to pay again and she said that I probably shouldn’t have to and they would see what they could do when the new plumber takes a look. The new plumber John and his apprentice came out on Oct 3. They were very nice guys and also very understanding, they too believed the first plumber should have tested it before charging me and saying it was fixed. They considered repairing the damage caused by the first plumber a better way, but the spot the power saw had damaged was in area that would require cutting out large portions of other walls and ceiling. He said to hold off and if it that repair starts to leak they would come back out and tackle it.John said he would have to charge me for his time. I replied that I had already paid for it to be fixed and the first plumber made it much worse. He said he totally understood, but I would have to call to get the office to ask to get the first charge refunded. And that he had to collect for his work. He even said the boss would be upset about the first guys work and especially not testing it. I signed off for having him fix it with the expectation of having my initial payment refunded fully or even partially applied to John’s work. John fixed the pipe and it has not leaked.I called and talked to the owner and explained what happened, he sounded understanding, and told me to call the office manager the next business day and work something out. I thought this was going to be fine. I called and left messages and no one returned my calls or ever answered calls from my number.I felt it was very unfair to effectively charge me twice for the same job, without returning my calls to say why they wouldn’t refund it. This was upsetting, and I was tired of calling. I felt taken advantage of, so I tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company. It was my first time disputing a charge with a credit card and was not able to have someone to give a second opinion per CC requirement, it would have just cost me more money than the amount disputed. So, Austin Area Plumbing and Drain won the dispute and were paid in full for both bills.Even though I thought John and his helper were great and the lady in the office was understanding, due to all of careless extra expensive damages to our home from the power saw and first attempt at fixing the issue causing much more water damage, and that I feel that I was unfairly charged for the same job twice, I can not recommend using this company or give them a positive review.
Our water heaters were on the blink and I did some research and decided to go Tankless this time. Reached out to Dennis as he is a certified pro dealer for Rennai (they are the best in the market) Tankless Water Heater. The day I called Dennis, he came in the same day and inspected the heaters and suggested we go Tankless. His Estimates were fair and he came by yesterday and installed it. He is a man with high integrity, polite, good sense of humor and methodical in his approach! So glad we found him. Dennis is my 'go to guy for my plumbing needs.
American Area Plumbing installed my dishwasher purchased from Lowe's. Kyle from the company was so professional and helpful. I was thinking about hiring another plumber to install a new toilet and kitchen sink next month but plan to hire this company and ask for Kyle.

Cobey and Chris did excellent work and earned their company a customer. They took care of the issue for a fair price and went above and beyond my expectations by walking me thru some incredibly helpful and money saving actions to take myself. They have extensive knowledge about every topic I asked about. Pleasure doing business.

I called and Curtis came out the same day. He showed us what was needed and indicated what was not needed; althought an installation company said a certain valve needed replacing. We appreciated his honesty, fast and efficient work, and overall service. Definitely would recommend and call again.
