Benjamin and Estevan were the people who helped. They used a special tool, which was fun to watch and within minutes the job was done all in the same day. Fantastic experience with A&T. Had a leak that was so bad that Austin Water contacted me due to excessive water usage. Called A&T at 2pm, they had it done, yes done by 6 pm. Great work. Everyone was friendly with a sense of urgency. Corbin and Corbin, Associates, as I came to call them, explained everything as it was progressing, and made sure to get a quote before starting any major work. They were very polite and came to service my busted water heater same-day. But they quoted me almost $1500 to replace a 40 gallon water heater. That’s about $900 more than what one costs at Lowe’s or Home Depot, which seems like an egregious markup.

Robert fixed our issue quickly and professionally. He explained precisely what happened and suggested we check out another component that might be causing us problems - and his hunch was correct.I correctly installed a gas dryer in our home, however, our clothes still weren't drying. We called another company (Hill Country Homework - might be Austin Homework by now) to inspect the issue. The tech (probably the owner? he couldn't seem to make up his mind about whether he's the owner) suggested a fix that made things worse. He left our home with an obvious scent of gas and told us to call 311 if the smell was noticeable the next morning. It was - and the fire department came to check it out.Robert was dispatched later to investigate the issue. He comported in exactly the way you'd expect from a Marine Vet. He also suggested we check if the dryer vent that runs from wash room to the roof was clogged. Sure enough, that was why our clothes weren't drying - it had nothing to do with my installation. I'd recommend Robert at Johnny Rooter to anyone.

Nightmare work!!! end up costing me more than double to fix-up the issue with the another plumbing company and now this company is threaten to put unpaid invoice on House Lien. I set-up an apt for early morning so I can go to work. They came 3 hours late - while I was waiting office kept saying someone is on the way. Eventually, two young guys showed up in broken vehicle. They were struggling to figuring out toilet clog-up. Didn't have right tool with them. Went back again for an hour got the tool and after spending 3 more hours on the site. Left with the recommendation that they can't fix the issue and differ the issue on something else (outside lines). I couldn't go to work (lost my wage of that day). After explaining to the office that service not rendered so no money will be dispatched. By LAW services has to be rendered/delivered in order to other party obligated to pay. In return I got threaten calls now and a letter that I owe them $295 for their services, if i don't pay they put it on lien. They never fixed the issue in fact it costed more almost $1300 because I have to call someone else from another big local plumbing company (who were not cheap) and fix what ever it needed to do. BE ware of unexperienced plumbers in Austin land area.

Fast Fox Plumbing to the rescue! They quoted a time period, came earlier than they expected, and fixed the problem all within an hour's time.

I was really disappointed in the level of service that they provided. First they charge a $85 service call fee just for coming to your location which I understand in fairly common, but then they wanted to charge me over $500 to replace a capacitor that costs less than $50 and only takes around five minutes to replace. I ended up doing it myself and cost me $35 for the capacitor and around 30 minutes of my time. I own five houses and will never do business with them again.
