Best Air Condition in Austin TX
Collen was our tech and our experience with him was wonderful. We had requested Rooter Man as we needed to clear out our french drain. Not only did he do the job we requested with speed but he also went over and above to give us recommendations and improved our drainage flow. Would definitely use this company again.

They fixed our pressure regulator and descaled our tankless water heater. Allen and his added help did an excellent job. They provided us with pictures of the job every step of the way. Highly recommend Daniel’s HVAC and plumbing.

Just had Chris from A&T come out to look at my toilets. He was very kind and professional. He found the issue I was having with one of the toilets and then rebuilt another toilet for me. Did it in a timely manner, and stuck around to make sure everything was working with me. He also took the time to answer several unrelated plumbing questions I had including checking out the shower drain. I haven't had a lot of plumbing work done, so I don't know pricing well, but I thought it was a fair price. I will be using A&T again for whatever my next plumbing need ends up being.

Worst plumbing experience in 15 years living in Austin. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was booked via HomeAdvisor to come to my house between 15:00-18:00 on 07/06/19 to fix a small bathroom facet leak. At that time on 07/06/19 Fred called and let me know that they were stuck on a job with another customer with no water. I agreed to postpone their visit for a week since the existing customer’s need was greater than mine. Fred stated that in appreciation of my understanding he would reduce the callout fee to $59. This meant the costs of the job would be $59 plus parts which were a replacement putty plate for a Delta faucet (a standard item that costs a few bucks). The new appointment was set for 08:00 on 07/13/19. At 08:20 Benjamin Franklin Plumbing called me to check that I was home. I pointed out that their plumber was 20 minutes late and was told that they do not even dispatch a plumber (despite an appointment having been made) until they confirm the home owner is at home. After 09:00 the plumber arrived (with no parts), sat on the edge of our bathtub for 20 minutes complaining about getting his computer to work, not even looking at the job itself, then stated that the cost of the job would be $646 to rebuild the faucet. This price included $152 to go collect the part that he hadn’t brought with him. Needless to say I was absolutely disgusted by this behavior. Not only did the plumber not inspect the required work in any meaningful way but trying to charge us $646 for a job that should have taken 20 minutes and which Benjamin Franklin Plumbing had already stated should have costed less than $65 was totally and utterly unacceptable. I therefore asked him to leave, logged on to YouTube, figured out how to perform this simple operation myself, collected the part from a local store, and completed the work. What trade organizations need to realize is that in an age of easy access to information on how to do their jobs, their only differentiators are their integrity and their customer service. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing possess neither. My recommendation is to avoid this company at all costs.

Michael W. was great. Arrived at the early end of the time range and immediately went to work to get our AC running in this 105 degree heat. He diagnosed and solved the problem quickly and then explained what was the problem. Very professional.

I called this place on a Sunday after being referred through Home Depot. I explained to Fred that my GE Profile Fridge was leaking on the side of the fridge. Specifically, the line that goes up to the ice maker. He sends a contractor out to tell me that it’s an appliance issue and not a plumbing issue and tried to charge me a $200 service call fee. Got Fred back on the phone while contractor is in my house to say “this is an appliance issue just as I stated on the phone, NOT a plumbing issue! I did not pay a $200 service fee and told the poor gentleman that worked for Fred that was sent to my home, “You are working for a crook and I would find another job”. Seems all this business owner is interested in doing is collecting expensive service fees for just sending someone out to your house, knowing they can’t fix your issue. Do not use this company!!

Warning: sexist and discriminatory practice. I was told by an ARS plumber (Josh) on the phone that he would not come look at my water heater until my husband was home. He said he didn't want to waste his time because I wouldn't be able to make a decision without my husband there. This actually happened. In 2019. I'm still shocked. When I called to complain, they expressed outrage at the situation, but in the end, did nothing to remedy it. They sent out another plumber who gave me a quote $400 higher than their competitor.

I tried to solve the plumbing problem by myself following the advice of a friend but I damaged more pipes in my house, I was really suspicious to call an unknown company but I just came across turbo plumbing and they solved everything in a very short time.

I chose Efficient AC, Electric, & Plumbing because of the excellent experience with their installation specialist, Ernest. The quote I received was reasonable. Full disclosure is that I did have installation issues. I tried to be patient and let them learn from their mistakes.8/24/21 - I hate to write this update eight months later. I have found out today my system was not installed correctly. I have had two other companies do an assessment this week. They were shocked at how poorly the install was. Efficient AC, Electric, & Plumbing doesn't follow code and how to follow standards when installing new systems and running ducts. I will be writing a BBB review and going through the process to recoup the money and pain I've had to go through. It is going to cost me 6 thousand dollars to replace the ductwork they failed to install correctly. I have given Efficient AC 6 attempts since the start of the installation the repair their mistakes. I am not an AC expert and was taken advantage of. The supply plenum is supposed to be 8 ft and it's only about 5ft. I have major air leaks in all the duct work and one duct that was completely in half. All runs are tied together with duct tape.

I cannot possibly say enough good things about these guys. I was changing out my smart thermostat, and my system quit working. I couldn't figure out for the life of me what was going on, and because I had no thermostat to connect to my HVAC unit, my house had no AC in the hot central Texas summer. I called a bunch of places, and many of them were booked two to three weeks out. These guys on the other hand, had someone available the next day, and their prices were far more reasonable than everyone else. When the day came, Antonio (the repair man) gave me a call and said that he had a couple cancellations and he was available right away. I happened to be at home, so I said he could come directly over. He showed up, smiled, was very professional, and showed me exactly what was wrong with my AC unit. He did something in 15 minutes that I couldn't figure out how to fix over the course of 6 hours, and not only that, but he also showed me some things I really needed to know about my house.Antonio also charged me a lower amount than I was quoted at, because my job was such a simple fix. Everything I experienced, the professionalism, the honesty, the friendliness, the fairness in price and the promptness showed me that these guys are definitely worth going to again. I highly recommend them!

Mike and Samuel came to my home for a maintenance service and they were both fantastic to work with. They showed up on-time, explained all of their work and were overall very professional. Strand Brothers pricing is very competitive with other HVAC companies in Austin and I strongly recommend using them.

I highly recommend AC Pros. Noah, the owner was incredibly professional and we couldn’t have had a better experience with Mark who came several times to our home. We have a newborn baby and Mark was so considerate of the baby, and our family. He went above and beyond every time. He explained everything clearly, he was super patient and very considerate. He wore protective covers on his shoes every time he came in the house, wore a mask just for extra precautions, and even offered to help change the filters. On the install day the crew of Noah, Mark, and Ethan did a great job in a very tight space, they worked for almost the full day and were very respectful of our space and home. Everyone in the front office were also pleasant and understanding. The only hiccup was a discrepancy on the estimated financing from our quote and what the actual financing came out to be. We were expecting it to be a bit under $200 each month and it ended up over $500. So just be sure to double check the estimate and the financing at the end.
