We chose Steg plumbing since other contractors in our area refused to install items we had already purchased. It appeared as if the other contractors needed to get their markup on products they supplied as well as the labor necessary to install these items. With the purchase of our appliance at a national big box store and the quote from Steg plumbing the job would cost us just under $900. Comparing this to a quote from a well-known, heavily advertised local plumber we were saving $1400 on our job. We went into this with a little anxiety hearing horror stories about you never select the lowest bid but that is far from what we experienced. The same person that came out to bid the job was the same person who came to install our job and that is a huge plus. Not only are you relieved of the need to explain everything again you are also assured that what was quoted is what is being done. They arrived within minutes of their scheduled time, completed the work in a professional manner and cleaned up not only after themselves but also after me when I had setup my hose to drain the lines before they arrived. I would recommend Steg plumbing and also plan to use them in the near future when I finish my basement.

Ok. I called for a estimate and was Told they were scheduled for a half day on the day I was free. BUT I was scheduled for 10a to noon.Noone showed. I had a estimate just prior to that so I had the phone nearby and was at my house waiting. I called back to reschedule since my daughter was adamant About getting a estimate from here.I was Told that someone tried to reach me at 6am, well I'm in bed at 6am so I did NOT hear that call. She also gave me a list of time's They had logged that someone tried to call. I did NOT show any of the calls in My Call log I mean none not even the 6am.Long story short I explained that I needed to get The estimate rescheduled and I was told someone would contact me for that. It's now day 3 And still no call. I did confirm They had my correct number.I'm sorry to say that we have decided to go with a different company. One that values the customer's time and follow through. I do not believe they had several attempts to contact me I think for whatever reason they had a half day They ran behind and was not able to get mine done. But to pass the blame, came up with all these time's they tried to contact me.They may have lower rates but with lower rates comes lower customer service. Do yourself a favor and call One of the other companies.We went with the one starting with a P And they have been 5 Star.

Had them install a water line for a new refrigerator. Very professional and good communication.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink and the sink wouldn't hold water. Big Frog came out bright and early. They found the source of the leak, fixed it, put in a new basket strainer and a new disposal. My cast iron sink needed an overhaul and BigFrog did it.

We have used 24/7 three times now. All same day service. My mother also called and was very happy with her water leak repair. They saved her 700bucks by calling the city to fix part of the problem. We had them install a water softener and serviced our heat pump. Very satisfied with their work and prompt service.

A friendly plumber gave me an estimate on fixing a leak in my crawl space and moving my water cutoff above my floor. Everything was good until the $750 estimate. This estimate was way, way too high. How do I know? After I declined, I went to Lowes and spent $100 on supplies, then fixed it myself in 2 hours. It would have been much less for Roby, as I had to buy tools and 100ft of pipe, when I only needed 4. In other words, if the professional was as slow as I am, they were asking $350/hour.

Plumbers need to figure out that with shark/gator bite connectors, amateurs can do a sufficient job easily. I would have preferred to pay a fair price to have a pro do the work, but I'm not interested in getting ripped off.

I called Steven on Christmas Eve and not only did he come out right away and fix our shower, he didn’t overcharge, he was kind and very quick. We will be calling him for any and all of our plumbing needs from here on out.

Sadly it was very expensive. The wax rings for those two toilets I had done are about $5 a piece. I've actually changed those before myself. To charge almost $500 for labor for less than 2 hours work is ridiculous. I could not recommend your company nor could I ever use it again.

John is the best plumber I have ever came into contact with. He’s very personable cares for his customers and is extremely great on price. He has gone above and beyond for me on two visits now. I will only use him for my plumbing needs. I recommend calling him over any big name plumbing company. He even came out around 11 at night when my basement flooded. Truly a great plumber and even better of a human.

These guys are awesome. After a dispute with the neighbor that hired them, they saw that what the neighboring business wanted completed was not right. & Rob was a huge assistance to me in workin with the city & standing behind what was right in my favor & I wasn't even the customer that hired them. It's so hard to trust companies anymore in today's world but Second Opinion is definitely very trustworthy & respectful. If I ever do need a plumber, I know where I'm callin.
