AttaBoy did a fantastic job with the plumbing work on our master bathroom remodel. They were on time and very professional. We had a small issue come up after completion and they came over right away and fixed the issue. Highly recommend.

Brian did a good job. We needed a new pump in our sump pit.
He replaced the pump but ALSO cleaned everything, tidied up the cables, reattached the float for the battery backup and removed the hard water build up.

I’ve never received such poor service. Besides the faucet dripping after a supposedly new one was installed, the owner then insisting it’s normal and they’ll charge me another $49 to come out again if he thinks nothing is wrong, a couple days later I noticed numerous scratches in the wood laminate flooring in front of the rug in front of the sink. I don’t know what they did but clearly you cannot trust these guys in your home. Apparently putting something down to protect the floor was too much trouble for them. They clearly don’t care and only give good service to certain people. They only offer a 30 day guarantee on their own work but tell me delta offers a lifetime warranty on the faucet. Conveniently they took the box the faucet came in and any warranty information with them. The receipt they sent shows only one price for everything, $359. No company accepts that as proof of purchase. They were here for 30 minutes and only did damage.

You know, they are not the cheapest plumbers. But they are the best. They show up on time, they are kind and thorough and informative, and they follow through on their excellent work. I would not go anywhere else for my plumbing needs. Larry gave us our estimate; Joe and ??Brandon (I can’t remember - I’m sorry) did the work installing a tankless water heater. They did a fantastic job. Very happy to have them as our plumbers.

Devon was very nice and professional and was sure to explain the process as he worked to clear
the sewer. He wasn’t presented with an easy job as the sewer was full of tree roots but he was diligent in his work to make sure it was done right.

Christian was awesome. He was on time, professional, wore his mask the whole time and shoes coverings when inside our house, gave us great information and explanations on the services we requested. They inspect and quote the services right there and gave us options for our services and the breakdown of fees. We had two jobs done and they both went smoothly and quickly. Super happy with them and i think we've found our plumbers to call.

After seeing Bob's business card posted in my real estate office stating that he does a great job, I was totally shocked at the experiences I had using him on two jobs for my clients, which were done in the same time period.

#1 Property- The bathtub faucet in the clawfoot tub was leaking in the back, and needed replaced. Also, the washing machine drainline was not plumbed in properly under the previous owner, and needed corrected with a proper trap installed.

Bob fixed the laundry drainline, and then came back to do the tub faucet when it came in after ordered.

After the work was completed, I received 2 invoices:

-$1,072 to install new tub faucet($220 of total) and 2 new shut-off valves.... also had to move clawfoot tub to access. And, I found out later that the tub faucet he had installed was not a match to the one that was in before, and had a shower riser. It was understood that he ordered matching faucet with riser.

-$848(after discount!) to cut a 1' x 3' section of wall to access laundry plumbing to repipe with mechanical vent and run drain

The amount was extremely high in price compared to other plumbing invoices I have seen over the years. So, I contacted Bob and asked what his hourly rates are. His response was that he charges a 'Flat Rate'.... by the job only, and not hourly. He then said that his rate fees were on his website. I went to the website and did not find any rate sheet. So then, he began taking pictures of a 'plumbing labor manual'(?) with his finger pointing to prices and emailing them to me. I let him know that it was not clear what I was actually seeing with the pictures he sent. I then let him know that I was going to go out the next morning to look at the work he did, and then I was going to call a few plumbers to find out what they would charge for the same work. I told him that I wanted to resolve the situation as soon as possible, and GET HIM PAID.

The next morning I go to the residence, and find that Bob had gone back into the occupied rental- WITHOUT notifying the tenant, and cut out all of the work that he had done! Evidently, he didn't want anyone to see what he claims was over $1,500 worth of labor- even after I expressed that we wanted to get the situation resolved and pay him asap!

Another licensed plumber was hired to come back and complete the work again- the cost was $650, including the tub faucet that matched the previous one. PRICE DIFFERENCE OF $1,270!

#2 Property- There was no water pressure at the house, and the sump pump was constantly running.

Bob came out that evening to analyze the cause of the problem, and was there approximately 15-30 minutes according to the owner/tenant who were present. He looked in the meter pit and the basement, and said there was a water main break near the front porch and about 6' down. He doesn't do excavating, and so we would need to have it dug out for him to come back and repair. I found a company that was able to do both the excavating and repair. Since it was the day before Thanksgiving, I went ahead and had them get the job done for the tenants. I then let Bob know, and told him that we wanted to pay him his service fee for coming out.
He sent an invoice for $317.00! I asked him if he had used any professional equipment and how long he was at the house. HE DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTIONS and then again sent me a picture from a 'plumbing labor manual'(?) that said it is $272.00 for 'minor leak detection'. My client went ahead and paid him $45 for the service call.

Bob the Plumber's invoice states, 'Get the price before the work is done and save money $$$$'
There was obviously a reason these prices were not given to me before the work was done! :(

I think Hamm & Sons is a really good plumber. Our whole family lives in Indianapolis and have used them for years. They are very honest and friendly and you dont get that feeling that they are trying to trick or overcharge you that you get with some home service companies.

We will definitely keep using Hamm & Sons Plumbing when we need repairs.

Extremely professional and courteous. Was able to diagnose and fix our basement toilet issue within 30 minutes. Would highly recommend. We plan to use them for our wet bar project in our basement as well.

We chose Steg plumbing since other contractors in our area refused to install items we had already purchased. It appeared as if the other contractors needed to get their markup on products they supplied as well as the labor necessary to install these items. With the purchase of our appliance at a national big box store and the quote from Steg plumbing the job would cost us just under $900. Comparing this to a quote from a well-known, heavily advertised local plumber we were saving $1400 on our job. We went into this with a little anxiety hearing horror stories about you never select the lowest bid but that is far from what we experienced. The same person that came out to bid the job was the same person who came to install our job and that is a huge plus. Not only are you relieved of the need to explain everything again you are also assured that what was quoted is what is being done. They arrived within minutes of their scheduled time, completed the work in a professional manner and cleaned up not only after themselves but also after me when I had setup my hose to drain the lines before they arrived. I would recommend Steg plumbing and also plan to use them in the near future when I finish my basement.
