If there's one word to describe Kris of Pride Plumbing, it would be extraordinary. It's not a word I'd normally chose to describe anyone - but with the above and beyond work that Kris did for me, that would be the word.

If you're like me, you're debating between several plumbers you've found on Thumbtack, or even some of the bigger guys like Mr. Plumber. The big guys simply charge too much, while the little guys, you may not be sure about their quality of work. I had peppered Kris with tons of questions about the process. Some questions I knew the answer to, but I wanted to test his honesty and knowledge. Unlike some other Thumbtack plumbers, he never rushed me to try to agree to a job.

Kris gave me a competitive quote, and despite the hardships faced that were out of his control, he saw the project till the end without charging me an extra dime. I will not go to detail on the hardships, but we had to call out Atlanta Gas and call up the manufacturer, Rheem. At the end, Kris had to repair the thermapile on the heater as well as unkink the gas line to resolve the issues. The project, which would normally take 3 hours, took 10 hours over 2 days (much of it waiting on Rheem customer service!)

At times it was frustrating, but Kris kept up his professionalism and saw it till completion. This was a rental property and he was concerned about completing the job before the tenant came back from vacation. After job was done and the tenant came back to use it, he followed up with me several times to make sure it was all working.

Kris could have upcharged me in different areas. For example, I told him Mr. Plumber said my expansion tank was water logged and I need to pay $$. Kris showed me it wasn't!

We all could use hardworking, professional and honest craftsmen like Kris. I would definitely hire him for my future plumbing jobs.

I called Jontell because we had a leak under the sink. He came within the hour. Upon arrival he was able to diagnose the issue, as well as tell me what I needed and could do next to address the issue we were having. He is also an electrician, so we discussed some opportunities for the future. I will be calling him again.

Mr. Ray and his partner did a great job fixing the leaking pipe underneath my concrete slap. He was very professional and kept me informed on what needed to be done during and throughout the entire process. The price was also reasonable due to the work that needed to be done. We would definitely call this company again for any of our plumbing needs.

Worst company ever. Their bulldozer did severe damage to my driveway in 2 spots(drove the length of driveway), you could see the tractor marks. Manager said for any concrete company I found that confirmed his tractor did the damage he would find someone that would dispute that. The tire treads from tractor and the pic of bulldozer where the damage is should be proof enough to fix. I would never recommend this company.

Qwen the Senior Technician and Ryan a Technician in training arrived promptly and immediately went to work assessing the problem with our water system.They were extremely polite and professional in their demeanor. I was so impressed that Owen began asking questions right away about what we were experiencing to assist him in his diagnosis of the problem. The team went to work examining the system in areas throughout the house. They checked and rechecked water pressure and reviewed the water tank and outlets in the utility area. They confirmed a problem with the valve controlling water pressure to the home. They removed and replaced the unit and brought the defective unit in to explain to us its condition and why they had to change it out. They were very clear in their terminology and outlined what they had done and why. They answered questions from both my husband and I with patience and in detail.Owen and Ryan also uncovered other issues of which my husband and I were not aware. They discovered we were using our utility room for storage and pointed out the danger we faced in getting to our water turnoff faucets for the inside and outdoors of our home quickly in case of an emergency. They also pointed out that we needed to create an access doorway so service people could get to our water tank if it needed to be repaired or replaced. The only door to our utility room is significantly to the left of the water tank making it impossible to get to it or remove it easily if problems develop with this unit in the future. Owen had some great suggestions for how to address this problem that made sense and could be done without spending an excessive amount of money.Additional questions were answered as well with patience and practical answers which will be of tremendous help to my husband and I as we move forward. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the help we received from Owen and Ryan. They will be the first people we ask for if we have additional concerns with plumbing in the future.
