We had a plumbing emergency, and this company gave us the best rate. Dustin was on time and explained everything he was going to do throughly so we understood. He was quick and efficient. We will be using this company again if needed in the future.

Cory showed up promptly and was very helpful. He was able to identify the issue and knew exactly what to do to repair it. Cory was friendly and respectful throughout the entire visit. I would call and request him personally in the future, just hoping we don’t need to.

While most companies wouldn't take the time, they asked me information, were empathetic and offered some solutions. I feel as a company they valued me as a customer and wanted to correct this situation to keep me as a customer. Very few companies go the extra step any more and it is much appreciated by this customer. I will most definitely use them again.I have been told by the water department that I must have a water leak since my bill quadrupled the past two months. Ive had leaks before and it’s very obvious when the main line running into my house breaks - water pours everywhere. So I was quite surprised to not see the extra 30k gallons of water they say I’ve been using anywhere. I called Roto Rooter and they came quickly, which is the ONLY reason for 3 stars, but only offered a quick “visual inspection” before telling me I need to tear my yard up because he couldn’t see the leak. I’m now waiting on an infrared leak detection from another company because tearing up my yard to hopefully find a leak sounds a little excessive when I’ve had no issues visually seeing leaks before.

My Tech Ray was awesome. I had an emergency at my home and Roto Rooter sent me Ray. He was able to fix my problem with no hassle. He was courteous and well informed regarding my issues and that says a lot about the quality of work and service Roto Rooter provides its customers. Roto-Rooter never came to look at the site of a significant plumbing job. They generated an estimate simply from the description of the job I gave them. Their estimate was about 3 times what other companies were bidding. Don't waste your time.

Emmanuel and Tarell were very professional and knowledgeable. They performed the job to my satisfaction. They left the work area clean after completion of the job and meticulously checked every connections for any leaks. I highly recommend them for any water heater installation or repair needs.

Called at 10 am aftet being told I have a water leak and was given a window from 12pm-4pm for a tech to come out. Called them back at 3:40 pm just to confirm that someone would be able to make it and I encountered the worst person ever. I explained to the not so nice female that I have a window from 12-4 and I'm concerned as I haven't heard anything back. She explained that the technicians don't know when they will get finished with a job but they are instructed to call before they come. Explained to her that it's almost 4pm and if they are going to run late,they should let the customers know because time was set aside from 12-4. She said ok that's why we tell you they will call before they come What good is having a window if they're not going to acknowledge and be courteous of your time. I don't need a phone call at 6pm if I have a designated window time duh? Needless to say I'm still waiting on a phone call and it's 630pm and dark. I will never use or recommend. The only reason why you have a star is because at least one is required to post the review. Other than that I would leave nothing. Just like the service you gave me. Nothing.

Pmir came early in the morning within the time bracket. He quickly fixed issues with both of my faucets. He was very professional and mad me feel very comfortable and well informed about the issues with my plumbing.

While the representative I spoke were very courtesy, I was charged 79.00 by a serviceman (plumber) that did absolutely nothing. We selected Roto-rooter so they could provide my family with a estimate to fix our plumbing issue. The serviceman did not write what the issue and the extent of damage was on the invoice so we still have to fork out more money to have another plumber provide us with documentation to submit to our warranty department.

Today I was frantically searching for a plumber to come out after a handyman that I hired through Home Advisor punctured a pipe while installing floating shelves the day after my kitchen renovation was completed. Roto-Rooter was able to get a technician out within the hour. The Roto-Rooter technician I worked with was named Jose. Jose offered a fair price for the work, made sure I understood what needed to happen, covered my counter top so that the broken tile and debris wouldn’t mess up my new counter, and worked hard to do as much minimal damage to my wall as possible. I have nothing but good things to say about Jose and would definitely request him as my technician if anything else were to happen. I’m just hoping nothing else will happen. Thanks so much Jose!

My water heater sprang a leak and started dripping water into the downstairs condo - every home owners nightmare; Chris arrived well within the 4 hour window quoted initially and immediately checked the water heater to ensure everything was done to prevent any further damage. Jason from the water remediation team assessed both of the units reassured us that no damage had been done - we dodged a bullet. Chris returned the next day and worked tirelessly to get a new water tank installed. I'd recommend either of them without hesitation.

It’s a 4 year lingering problem that I knew had to be addressed at some point. I went through a string of plumbers who wanted to charge me $100 just come out and give me an estimate. I decided on Rotor-Rooter, AL showed up…very welcoming, very pleasant…explained the problem then tackled it without any issues!! I will definitely recommend him for further projects!!

Kostadin was polite and professional. He thoroughly explained the problems to us and was quick with the repair. He gave us tips to keep it from happening again. We’ll see how it holds up, but so far we’re pleased!

I have no issue with the plumber that came out but the charge was insane for what was done. They tried to get me to pay $600 for a pressure relief valve. What are they smoking? Even still they charged about $350/hr (for 2 hours) for the labor which involved replacing about 3ft of copper pipe and some minor digging. Again, the plumber, Michael, was great. I'd recommend him but not the company.UPDATE:I can tell you that Roto-Rooter does pay attention to the reviews because the day after I wrote the review, I got a phone call from the local field manager about it. The next day I received e-mails from division managers. After sharing photos of the work that was done, they gave me a partial refund. I am somewhat satisfied but I still think the charge for service was more than it should have been. However, they came when they said they would, the plumber was friendly and knowledgeable , and they were quick to follow up to make sure I was happy with the job. At the end of the day, would I use them again? Probably, but I wouldn't be so quick to sign the contract. My recommendation to Roto-Rooter is that you should train your guys to have better judgement when determining the cost of service. For $350/hr, I expect my yard to be mowed, my cars to be washed, and my laundry done in addition to the plumbing job.If you decide to use them, I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the work. Just make sure to question and discuss the price they quote you. They'll work with you.

Called to get maintenance on my water heater and to have it flushed. Very happy with the service I received. The technician answered all my questions and was very thorough.

We had an emergency plumbing blockage that needed to be quickly addressed. We called Roto-Rooter and they sent Wayne and Chris (technician #1955) who effectively and thoroughly resolved everything. Not only were they professional, but they helpfully explained what they were doing and why they were doing it. Highly recommended!

Roto rooter plumbing service has a great and powefull service. Same day after 30 minutes of making phone calls,they appear. They did an excellent job for me, especially mr. Cristian, as a technician. We were quoted $1,100 for installation of a new dishwasher (and NO this did not include the price of the dishwasher!). Average price estimates that we got for other companies ranged from $150-325. To make things worse, the company wouldn't tell us the price before coming to our house. It was a strong no after the quote. Buyers beware!

Al showed up unannounced as Roto Rooter forgot to call me. No fault of his. I was not prepared to pay I was not prepared to get the pipe fixed. However when he saw my distress in being unprepared and upset he cut the typical price in half and only took him 20 minutes to fix the problem. I will be sure to pass along his good karma and help someone out in the future. It meant the world to me that he would do this job basically for free. I had called Roto Rooter to see about a leaky inline fridge filter to see when someone could come out to look as it had already filled up 4 or 5 buckets within 3 hours and the cut off valve was broken. They told me tomorrow at the earliest. If I had been prepared I could have planned my finances and time better. Thank you so much Al for your wonderful kindness.

This was quite honestly one of the best service calls I have ever had. Kudos to Roto-Rooter for hiring this tech. He was AMAZING. Rosen was his name and he literally would not leave my house until 1) the problem was fixed (it was a big problem and took some creativity and hard work), 2) until I was completely satisfied with the result, and 3) until he was SURE that I had a perfect understanding of how to fix in the future if any sort of issue arose. Went WAY above and beyond. He also du through his truck to find some scrap drywall for me to patch the area he had to cut into. Seriously, he would not leave until he was positive that I had it under control and knew how to complete the aesthetics of the project. BTW, I never write reviews. I’m that happy with this tech

Technician Eric Valdez fixed my issue and assured me he would fix my overflow issue in the pipes. He worked very hard and took his time to diagnose the problem. You will be very lucky if you get this young man to help with any drainage issues you may have.

The whole team was very professional. I wanted to give extra recognition to Malikai. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and all around great person. He answered all our questions and made us feel like he was there for us during this rough time. We never felt pressured or push to do anything. We're definitely happy we chose Roto-Rooter.

After using someone from Task Rabbit and not getting the problem fixed, we eventually called RotoRooter. Upon sight, he quoted us $700 (including a free camera) to snake the entire line and pull up the toilet to do so. After discovering that the lines needed to be descaled or cleaned, he had a suggestion for another $400 to do something else. While they were fast to respond, the initial guy who came out wasn't that helpful but the camera operator understood exactly what I meant when I said we were looking for a bandaid repair not a cast repair and told the first guy we didn't need the extra $400. Overall, we would use them again.

Dustin did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing my busted garbage disposal as well as tolerating two very curious children peaking around the kitchen island to watch him work.

I called Roto Rooter to service my water heater. There was nothing wrong with it just a basic servicing. I asked them how much it would be for the servicing….not an exact amount just a range. They said they couldn’t give me one but I did not have to do the servicing if I didn’t want to once they came. They came at quoted me a price that was three times over any normal service price for the area. Now I am having to wait for another company to come. Don’t use this place. They are astronomically above any other pricing. They won’t give you any type of range over the phone and they are hoping when they send someone you will just be desperate enough to do it. I could even tell the guys they sent knew how overpriced they were. Save your money!!! There is plenty of competition that will do an amazing job for a third of the price.

First, Dan 3407 arrived as scheduled getting things off to a good start. He was professional and respectful of my home. Once he spotted the water damage my leaking water heater caused in my storage closet, he contacted Micheal 5303 from the water restoration team to come by to inspect the damage. Dan explained to me how the water heater, pressure valve, and expansion tank had failed so I know what to look for next time. The new tank and pipe work looks spectacular! To calm my paranoia of a future incident, Dan got a new stand to accommodate a drain pain and ran a drain pipe to the exterior. Very satisfied with his craftsmanship!

Avoid Roto-Rooter Atlanta at all costs, or you will regret calling them as I did. Punitive and abusive pricing. There is a fair rate for emergency service but there is no link between the work done and the price charged. When we were all pleased that my issue ended up simpler than expected, they played “gotcha” with the quote I signed and were unwilling to treat me fairly. They quite obviously have no desire to earn a recurring customer. I wish that I had called anyone else.

When the technician came to my home, he was informed i am an overnight nurse and I was getting sleep from a 16hr shift. I informed him my main issue was with toilet plumbing. He focused on the tub. He changed the tube pipe and installed the toilet. The next morning when I used the toilet and flushed, the whole house smelled like urine. Chris did not listen to my concerns but charged me $900 for changing one pipe to the tub. Not satisfied with the service.

Cory and Eric were both excellent. They helped diagnose my issue and helped me get in touch with the city sewer system after finding a main sewer line break. Would definitely use them again for any future plumbing needs!

Brian was so efficient and responded to my clogged toilet fast. He was very professional and he explained the process to me step by step. I was very well informed about the entire process. I highly recommend this company to anyone that is in need.

In this time it is hard to get good customer service. I must say that Adam and Brian went above and beyond the bar. They gave exceptional service. When I called they were here in an expediate manner. I can't believe there are still individuals out there that provide you with excellent service. The cost of the service was a lot less than the amount I thought I would have to pay. On 2/12/20 and 2/13/20, Mr. Owen Elliott, Service Technician 3151, performed the necessary work to repair the drain line inside the house. While doing so, Mr. Elliott took the time to explain the required work in detail and answer all of my questions to my satisfaction while performing the work, including the excavation process that was required on the outside of the house. Also, on 2/18/20, Mr. Elliott returned to our home after I called him regarding an issue in the master bathroom. He is very knowledgeable and he made me feel as if he wasn't trying to take advantage of my sister and I during the whole process. I'm very glad that he came to perform the necessary repairs and my sister and I will request him for any future repairs and will also recommend him to others.

I wish i could give Roto-Rooter Plumbing 10 stars 🌟 .They deserve it!!!! My toilets were clogged and sewage water was coming up through my tub and shower. The toilets were almost over flowing. The smell was horrible. When I called ROTO-ROOTER the lady was very nice and helpful. She scheduled me in and the technician was at my house in less than one hour. My technician was JEDI # 2856. Jedi followed all CDC guidelines for covid 19. He was on time and very professional. He first checked to see if the issue was coming inbound or outbound of the house. It was in the house. He branched the sewer line to clear it and pulled toilet. Once finished he installed toilet back and made sure that tub, shower and toilets were all functioning at 100%. He cleared the clog in a timely manner and cleaned up. He also gave recommendations on plastic screws that holds toilet down. I highly recommend and appreciate what Roto-Rooter has done for me. P.S. Do not flush flushable wipes.

We had a malfunctioning valve on our water heater and had another company come out and couldn’t figure out the problem. They told us they couldn’t come back for 3 days. I called roto rooter and they had someone out within an hour. He fixed the problem within 30 minutes and matched the other companies price.

I have to first say my first experience with Roto Rooter was awesome. They only removed what was necessary from my basement. I had another leak and the 2nd crew was careless and destroyed door frames and even baseboard trim that didn’t need to be removed. They also broke my shadow boxes. I asked them to just replace the money for my shadow boxes, that was in May. Promises, promises. My last negative experience with them has confirmed I’ll never use them again.

The Restoration Field Supervisor, Keon Harper, Service Tech. Andre Greene, Restoration Tech. James Amerson, and CameraTechnician Sarah Bland did a great job working to fix the plumbing pipe repair in my home. Each were professional, knowledgeable, and concerned about the problem. Praise is not enough for these well trained Supervisors and Technicians, they are second to none, and an asset to the ROTO-ROOTER CO.

Buyer beware with this company. Their pricing practices are insanely high and inconsistent. Their repair tech’s work off if commission of 20-30 percent I believe and there is no basis for the prices they charge. I had two tech’s price me at $2.7k and another at $1.6k to install 3 faucets and reconnect a gas stove. My handyman did it all for $325. I would never trust this company again!

We had never used Roto-Rooter and we were so impressed with our experience in regard to professionalism, responsiveness, quality of work and expertise. We have had repeated issues with a pipe getting blocked and Roto-Rooter was more aggressive in fixing the underlying problem vs “bandaiding” the issue. Pricing is quite reasonable. Special recognition to our service technician “Stefan” for his work and commitment to excellence.

Emir removed the broken water heater and put in the new one. He was so personable, professional, and plain nice.
I'm not a massive fan of the huge companies, but such great service can't be denied.

I would highly recommend using Roto-Rooter! We had an emergency situation where our sewage pipe from the house to the street was blocked and all the waste from the house was coming up through the overflow pipe. We'd had this same issue 10 months ago and had called Superior Plumbing. They only partially unblocked the pipe and said they needed to dig up the whole of the front yard to replace the pipe for a tidy sum of $4,814.33!!So, when the same problem happened again, we decided to use someone else. Roto-Rooter had excellent reviews online so I called them late one evening and 2 very qualified plumbers from Bulgaria came out the next morning. They were extremely professional in assessing and explaining the problem. They blasted out the blockage and thoroughly cleaned the pipe. They put a camera down the pipe to show us that it was now squeaky clean. There is not issue with the pipe needing to be replaced - unlike what Superior Plumbing had told us. All in all, I was extremely satisfied. The cost was higher than I had expected but I think all plumbing jobs cost a lot because of the equipment needed and the high cost of liability insurance.

Roto-Rooter was quick on finding the problem we were experiencing with our toilet. Our technician Wayne (1955) was very informative and professional. The price was great and much cheaper than plumbers we've used in the past.

Roto claims to be 24 hour service, but apparently they are not. I called around 7p.m., due to water backing up. They said they would come no later than 11pm, but called after 10 to say they could not make it. The Service provider that came next day was very professional, he ran a snake from house to septic tank, the whole process took 25 minutes. He charged 510.00 dollars for 25 minutes of work. Never again.

I had a complicated whole house water filter install and after calling around to many competitors, Roto-Rooter gave me a next day appointment with a knowledgeable plumber. He made several trips to ensure job was done accurately and provided all necessary materials. Good service these days is very rare but I'm a happy new and future client.

Amazing experience! Dan and Wayne were at my house within an hour. They went right to work and cleared out roots in my sewer line and found my outside trap that I haven’t been able to locate since I moved in. They made sure the job was done right. Kamal did a great job replacing my hot water heater! He was very knowledgeable and professional. He came within an hour of when I called, and did a great job.

You know I had this thang where when ever someone came to my house to do any repairs in or on my home I would watch everything they do till work is finished. But I put my trust in this guy to do 100 percent right and not keep an eye on him while working. So when he was finished I was told after that he didn't have enough copper to put the water heater in about face position so I can see the control panel wish he had told me before he put it together ahead of time. My first call was to stop a leaking toilet. Roto Roooter showed up fast and didn't charge a fee to give an estimate. The Tech recommended the wax seal be replaced and I told him to go ahead and do the job. The tech didn't turn off the main water line and the supply line burst. Water gushed out everywhere, down the walls and into the garage. $408 later the link was still happening. Roto Rooter come back and said the toilet needs to be replaced. The total cost for that was $720. So now I have a small handy cap toilet that comes out away from the wall for the total value of $1,130. But hey, the toilet doesn't leak! First and last time I will ever use this over priced service again. After all of this happened Roto Rooter contacted me and gave me a refund for the $408.

The tech, Emir, is very skillful and did an awesome job explaining the issue. He performed beyond the call of duty by ensuring all of my questions were answered. I appreciate him pointing out other possible plumbing concerns that I need to keep my eye on. His exceptional customer service gained the company a new customer. I now have a new trustworthy plumber!

The team was very fast and responsive. They were able to come out the same morning that I called and fix two leaking pipes in our basement. I would definitely work with them again in the future.

Even though he was unable to unclog the pipes (not his fault) he was quick to point out our next option.Our access pipe was unaccessible for his machine in our crawl space.Needed septic out here which fixed the problem.He didn’t guess or give us a run around. When they arrived they looked at the situation and immediately searched for the best possible fix. Ronnie our technician #2079 was very experienced and was able to get us up and running quick. Roto-Rooter was the only plumber I called who could not provide me with any form of quote prior to coming to my location. The work was to be conducted per a warranty labor contract, so I had to know the cost prior to arrival or risk not being covered by the manufacturer. I asked if there was anyone who could give me any form of quote and was told no.

Absolutely no morals or ethics!! Falsified documents, listed services on my receipt that were not performed. Did not follow up with what they told me they would do nor did they unclog my clogged line before adding an asbestos check, water restoration and clean out plan/bill. Ultimately charged me $757.00 for snaking and blow bagging my sewer mainline , a task that eventually I had to complete myself! In an attempt to hide fraudulent claims Dan, the Roto Rooter, SENIOR PLUMBING FIELD SUPERVISOR refused to run the plumbing camera through my main sewer line. A service that I had already paid for! DAN THE SENIOR PLUMBING FIELD SUPERVISOR stated that I needed $10,000.00 worth of financed repairs!! Total Fraud!!!!!! TOTAL FRAUD!!!! DID I MENTION TOTAL FRAUD!!! 👎👎

Due to deterioration of my pluming under my foundation, I needed my entire house re-plumbed through my attic. I am glad I chose Roto-Rooter. The company responded the same day and provided an estimate. I could have spent less with a few other companies, but I am glad I let them preform the work. The crew was very experienced and completed the job in 2 days. The quality of their work and the quality of the plumbing hardware was evident. The did not take any shortcuts on quality and did an excellent job. My sincere thanks the the 2 professionals that completed the work. I would recommend this company for any of you plumbing needs.

The tech Vlad Pamphile came to our home to assess our concerns. He was on time and communicated to us his findings. This is my first time utilizing this company and with techs like Vlad I’m glad I did. He was professional, thorough and explained to us what he was doing every step of the way. He eased our frustration with our concern. It has been a pleasure to do business with Roto Rooter and it started with Vlad.

Turns out my regular plumbers don’t offer emergency service on a Sat evening, but thankfully Roto Rooter does! Even though the Tech couldn’t come until 12:30am, he did complete the service call - to clear a blocked sewer pipe which backed up into a bathroom, overflowing the toilet and leaking through to part of the garage below. UGH! Not catastrophic, but significant enough damage to require gutting the bathroom, hardwood floor removal and sheet rock in the garage - plus mitigation treatment, etc. The Roto team was outstanding in all aspects of helping me deal with this minor disaster. Highly recommended! 👍

Although I think Roto Rooter's prices are a bit steep, I was very pleased with the great customer service provided by Owen. He was very professional. He attempted to provide the least expensive solution to the problem, but as luck would have it, I ended up having to go a different route. He kept me informed with each step. He provided great explanations and left me very pleased with the service.

I had some plumbing issues and a previous company led me to believe that my toilet was the cause due to the amount of water damage that I had upstairs on the floor and downstairs in the dining room area. After coming to correct the issue on Friday November 30, 2018, two days later I noticed I still had a leak. The same plumber from the same company came back that following week and took the water out of the toilet to see if it would correct the issue/help find the leak and it did not. After having them come out twice with no resolution and wasted money I called Roto-Rooters. They sent Chuck D. to me and he was able to find the leak with ONE visit! He was fast, knowledgeable and very efficient. I wished I had called Roto-Rooters first to resolve the problem. Moving forward, if I ever have an issue I'm calling Chuck D. He will fix the problem!

JJ is the most knowledgeable and honest person! He came to our house to diagnose an emergency sewer pipe separation. Although he could not work on it because it was dark outside and it being 10:30 pm on a Sunday. He did his best to be honest and not charge us additional fees for unnecessary services. He kept in touch with me and called me the next day at 7 am! He already set up an appointment for a camera man to come out and kept in touch with both the service field specialist, throughout the day! He deserves a bonus or a promotion. He is by far your best employee, you guys have! He sincerely cares about his customers and is honest! He did not have to contact us after he came that Sunday night but he did! Not only did he keep in touch with me once but 7 times throughout the next day! If you ever use Roto- Rooter ask if you can have JJ! I promise you that he will be honest and not do additional work that does not need to be done!

Roto Rooter prices are outrageous and the customer service I received from a manager was horrible. I called them because it was an emergency and the technician that came out came up with 3 different ways he had to charge us $1,200 to clean our sewer line. At first he wanted to use a camera and my brother, who was the one handling the situation while I was getting ready to leave for work, told him no. Then, he found a second clog that meant he had to charge us double what it costs to clean out the first clog. He hadn't even started on the first clog. He was at the same address, in the same pipe system, and used the exact same equipment. An extra charge is frustrating but not completely out of the question (even though it honestly shouldn't have been an extra charge at all. He provided one service) but to completely double the price was ridiculous. A week later, the problem started up again. So for $800 we got one week of relief. And when I called to tell a manager Hey, we were charged an outrageous amount of money for a technician to come out and not fix the problem he once again offered to sell me a $400 camera inspection. I said no, These pipes are only a couple years old, his company should want to know where they messed up and reimburse me for at least half of the first visit since we were charged twice for one service. He said he could send a camera out for free but only put some of the previous charge towards fixing whatever the problem was. I told him if there was a problem, I would certainly not be using his company to fix it. He got upset and said there was no incentive for him to do anything if I wasn't even going to use his company to fix it. I was very disappointed with everyone involved except a very nice lady at the call center named Joy. She was the only one who approached the situation with understanding and respect for me, my house, and how hard I work to earn my money.

Awesome service from Roto-Rooter! Our laundry sink would not stop dripping. My husband tried to fix it - and turned a drip into a steady stream. We called Roto-Rooter at about midnight, and at 10am the next morning, Wayne arrived. He looked at the problem and said I needed a new faucet. He worked up a quote and told me how much it would be. He said he would go and get the new faucet - or I could. I asked him to go and get it and told him a little bit about what I wanted. A few minutes later, he was back, and a few minutes after that, I had a new faucet with no leaking! When he prepared the bill, it was less than what he had quoted, which was great. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter and Wayne for quick and professional service.

Mitigation Lead named Travis was very personable and professional in his duties. He answered our questions reasonably and set expectations for the processes to come.Travis is a true asset to the company with his ability to relate to the customer and the issue requiring resolution.

I use Roto Router not for the price because they are not cheap by any means but they also come when you call them. I call other companies and they want to wait 2-3 days and then charge you a fee for an estimate or travel. Or they dont work on the weekends or some other foolishness.I think these other people dont understand when your toilet floods it doesnt do it M-F 9-5. Their techs are polite and well prepared. Now if they were just cheap or free it would be perfect

So... holy cow. ABOVE AND BEYOND service. Dustin and JJ cared so much. JJ even helped me navigate the arduous process of filing a claim with the city. So friendly, so professional, and they clearly like people and want to be as helpful as possible. I cannot say enough good things. I had several faucets and a garbage disposal that needed replacement. This was a late evening request. Chuck arrived on time and got right to work. When I added to his job list, he took care of the work the next day, on time, with no problems. Plus, the cost was reasonable. I have other work that needs to be done, and will definitely call Roto-Rooter again.

This is the best customer service that I have had with a national brand company! I needed emergency service for a blocked line in my sewer system, my distress call was handled by a courteous representative and provided me with prompt same day service. I thought my issue was resolved that day but I notice that the problem was not completely rectified and I call back to notify the company and once again I received the same prompt, courteous same day service. At first I was going to give 1 star because my appt was scheduled between 10 and 12am and no one arrived until 6 pm . Luckily I understand the resource shortage that’s happening in several industries nationwide so it was not a big deal and the plumber Keenan was exceptionally thorough, professional and kind! He apologized for the massive delay and went above and beyond to access the cause of the issue and informed of the process in detail! At the end of the day- I was more than happy with the experience and service they provided.

The technician arrived on time and gave me a quote on a new toilet installation after he assessed all the issues. It seemed the tech was only concerned more about overcharging me for a job that only required him to flush the toilet as I initially requested than customer satisfaction.He totally ignored my request UNTIL he convinced me he would do it after I sign paperwork which he knew would lock me into paying him to run a manual toilet snake (auger) into the drain (an item I have at home). The next deception came while I watched him flush the toilet which almost completely flushed before he could quickly run the snake in and aggressively turn the handle as if there was a major blockage in there. (ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was attached to the snake or floated around in the toilet each time he brought it up). He tried to convince me that I didn't see what I saw and still had the audacity to charge me $298 (discounted to $273 with a coupon) which I challenged on the spot with him and his manager because I asked him to perform the flushing before using any equipment I knew would cost me as a labor charge. He was only at my home for 15 minutes and all he actually did was turn on the water in my sink and toilet to ensure there were no leaks AND finally flushed the toilet. I ultimately paid $80 for the visit which I feel I shouldn't have paid due to his dishonest scheme.I hope this isn't a normal practice of these techs because I hope anyone reading this will stand in eye-view from now on to ensure this doesn't occur at their homes.

Roto-rooter supervisor told me he couldn't find a plumber that knows how to install kitchen faucet to stop flooding! Very bad busines plumbing company! I called rotorooter to fix a part on my water heater. The service was quick. They came the same day we called and the plumber was very personable and professional. We talked a little sports and city history while he did the job. Thebprice was reasonable not the cheapest quote I got but I trusted that I would het good service and I did. I would recommend them.

We had a leaking hot water pipe into our water heater. Martin at Roto-Rooter came out at the earliest time promised, assessed the problem, and provided options for fixing it. He explained every option and the cost of each. After we chose, he fixed it immediately. Martin was professional and courteous. I would call him again for any plumbing needs.

Called on a Saturday for installation of two toilets; technician was at our house within three hours and had both units installed in a couple hours. Technician was professional and friendly and did excellent job of installing the units. We were grateful to have been able to get the job done on short notice, as we were leaving for a vacation in two days. Work was done at a more than reasonable price.

I used Roto-Rooter for water mitigation services after my water heater sprung a leak. Cruz, was very punctual. If something ever came up he would let me know in a reasonable amount of time. Hopefully I won’t have this same problem again but if I did I know who to call.

We requested a 10:00am-12:00pm service time and had an email confirmation from the company confirming this time slot for service. It is now 2:10pm and we have not even received a call that a technician is on the way.

The team was very quick and responsive. They had a tech out quickly as well as a field supervisor who didn't beat around the bush told me exactly what they thought the problem was and exactly what needed to be dont. On top of that they went a head and scheduled the other person to come out and take pictures for the insurance claim and scheduled for the water damage clean up team to come out and remove everything that was touched by the brown water. They made the horrible incident much less stressful for me.

Nick came out and inspected my home. I called Roto Rooter at 8:57, whom stated someone would be at my home in 90 minutes. Nick showed up within 25 minutes!! I had to reschedule because I ran out of time. He was on time and found the source of my leak. Not only did he find the source - he found multiple leaks. He was very thorough. He made the mess and cleaned it after. If you need or have plumbing issues call Roto Rooter and ask for Nick. He’s AMAZING!! Looking forward to him finishing the job! Thanks Nick!

Working with Roto-Rooter has been an absolute nightmare. Do not even think about hiring them, and go to ServPro instead. They do not know how to work with your insurance company and all they care about is charging your credit card for as much as they can get.The plumber was not clear about the bill we were charged, admitted he wasnt clear about it and that it was his fault for making that mistake. We were charged double the amount that we thought we were going to be charged.I contacted his supervisor, Andrew Helin, and the corporate office several times and they did not care and stated they already gave us a good deal and will not reduce the price (we have a $13,300 bill now).They also charged our credit card in the full incorrect amount and our insurance company stated that they weren't supposed to do that and Roto Rooter was supposed to wait for a check from our insurance company before charging us the amount, since that is the incorrect balance.I gave roto rooter my insurance contact to work this out. Andrew Helin, the awful supervisor I've been dealing with, didn't contact him, and refuses to reverse the credit card charge, even though the balance is incorrect and insurance is supposed to pay first. We had other companies (flooring company such as A&R flooring and other painting companies repair our house from the pipe burst and they knew how to work with insurance and was so easy. I don't know why it is so hard for roto rooter to do the same).Our insurance company also stated that Roto Rooter is an awful company to hire and that they only care about charging the customers as much as they can get and that they also have a hard time working with them for insurance claims.We had to do a credit card dispute, and will probably have to go to court since we are working with such a horrible company. Save yourself the time and definitely go with another company. Hiring roto rooter was probably on my top lists of regrets of a lifetime.

I called this company because my toilet was flooding into my bathtub. Before calling, I spent hours plunging the tub and toilet until the skin in my hands were raw, so I was in desperate need for help. After a call, they quickly scheduled for a service technician to come out the next morning. Brian, the technician came on time, assessed the repairs, and gave me a price of $750 to unclog the main sewer line. We discussed methods of payment then he gave me an application for financing and went out to the car. After talking to my roommate via phone, we decided that the cost was too steep. So, I politely thanked and informed Brian that I would not go any further with the application process due to the price and told him I appreciate him.Well, hey, it's not my toilet, its yours. Good day, Brian said to me closing his van door. I still was polite and said thank you, although my skin wanted to react totally different. But thank God, I went back into my house, flushed the toilet and Whalah, it unclogged on its own, and it didn't flood into the tub.I don't think Roto-Rooter is a bad company; I just received a grouchy technician.

The service was fast and the tech was knowable about what he was doing. However the pricing was not clear. I asked about this from the call center if they had a military discount and they assured me that the service tech would apply that upon arriving. I told the tech upfront that I was a veteran and he said that he would apply it. After that I was given a quote of $550 and after I got the service the price was the same. So I asked the tech where was the discount and he showed me where the camera inspection was not charged and my service was still $550. Overall the service was great but the pricing needs to be clear. Not Sure if I would recommend unless the pricing is clear up front.

We had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday and RotoRooter was at our house within 3 hours to fix it. Service was great! Travis from their remediation service came out right after at almost 11 pm ON A SUNDAY to get us started on getting it cleaned up. Great service, we recommend them.

I had a total sewer line blockage on a Saturday. I called 2 other plumbers with no luck. Roto Rooter sent someone right away. Jerry #3691 was very helpful, considerate and concerned. Todd #2661 and Shannon came with camera line to determine blockage. They were also very helpful and considerate. Scheduled a crew to dig the line the next day. Again, the crew was prompt and courteous. I had to call again for another leak inside my kitchen cabinet. Jerry #3691 was all the way across town but came right away and did the repair. I am extremely pleased with the service and will definitely use them again!

First, they are super responsive when you call and express a need. They understand that plumbing is an essential need, so they are on it! They have enough staff so they can be flexible with scheduling. This worked out great as it allowed us to only have to make slight adjustments to work schedules. We didn't have to take time off. Second, Nathan (the tech who handled our initial consultation) seemed extremely knowledgeable. I can only say seemed because I'm a Googleologist and only know plumbing from those terms. However, he was able to break the information down into laymen's terms.Scheduling the repair was also pain-free. Again, they have amazing flexibility that allow you to go on with life while the repair is being done.They were extremely professional & pros. They had everything identified and marked and was ready to go an entire day prior to the repairs. So, extremely efficient & respectful of your time & money. They began & ended within the timelines they established. So you can rely on that. They were very courteous & took strides to protect my yard (investment).I did not like having to make a deposit before repairs could begin. As a consumer, it's a big red flag per every consumer advocacy org. We almost went with another company due to this. Also, according to Angie's List their price was slightly above the national norm. The flexibility in scheduling eased my concern about this. I didn't mind paying a bit more for convenience.

For the past two days tried to get a plumber out to unclog our laundry line always hear the line the person who is supposed to be coming out is running behind never heard from the company unless I call and ask where they are and are they coming have scheduled two different days and at different times, never showed up, never called, dispatch never called me to let me know even a ballpark of when it might be. Suggest going with a different company from the other negative reviews they seem to be going downhill in customer service.

Kostadin was very clear as he explained what would need to be done and the reasons for his recommendations. This will be a major job but thanks to him I understand the reasons for doing it and the procedures to be followed. He took time to answer all of my questions.

I was appreciative that Roto-Rooter was extremely responsive to our initial call to come out on a weekend to fix a water main leak at our foundation. They come out the very Saturday we called for an assessment and had the repair completed on Sunday. The price was on the high side but we like the idea of a national company standing behind the work. The only reason I am giving three stars instead of four is that they made no attempt to cleanup after themselves. Also, I left a message at the office to let them know about it and received no call back. The quality of the work is the most important, and so far it seems to be good. However, we would expect the jobsite to look the same as it did upon their arrival. Side walk, street, basement floor and sink in our bathroom were a mess.Overall, employees were professional and nice people but the poor cleanup soured an otherwise positive experience.

The technician, Kostadin, who is a Master Plumber that a came to my house, provided excellent service, was friendly, and answered any and all of my questions. Would highly recommend and not hesitate to call again.

RR came out the same day I called. The quote given for replacing two leaky external hose bibbs was very fair. The plumber was courteous and diligent. I was very pleased with the work and will use RR in the future. The company also offers coupons on their website.

(Not 100% sure this is the right Roto office). I called because I had a backup into the house. Troy came in within a couple hours and cleared us right up, and then Zachary gave us a free camera inspection of our plumbing lines. Both technicians were quick, extremely nice, and did a great job. I could not recommend more highly!

I understand the calamity that was Xmas of 2022, but still, I had an appointment with Roto-Rooter on Friday night that they postponed to Saturday and then never showed and never rescheduled. When I called back Saturday night, they were no longer taking calls. I understand what happened, but I would think at the very least, they could call the customers for whom they had appointments and let them know that they were not coming. At least I could have moved on to another option.

Absolutely a horrible, unprofessional company. I requested a technician to come out to find out why my bathtub has no water pressure. The technician failed to show up to my first SCHEDULED appointment so I had to reschedule. The technician finally came out on a Saturday and was going to charge me $125 to find the issue which is perfectly fine. Instead of finding the issue, the technician broke the cpvc line down to the slab and faced me with two options... either pay $800 dollars to fix the issue or go without water. To begin with, the technician told me that if I replace the cartridge it would fix the issue which is totally false. The problem has nothing to do with the faucet or cartridge, the issue is in the actual line itself. Another technician came out to give an estimate on how much it would cost to dig up the slab or run new line to the bathtub and failed to do so. I called back and scheduled another appointment, and yet again a supervisor who was supposed to come out on a SCHEDULED appointment failed to do so AGAIN. Now I have a CPVC line that i can’t even connect my bathtub faucet back together.

Christian was knowledgeable, polite and professional. He did an excellent job and was able to easily communicate what he was doing and walked me through the repairs after he completed them.

RotoRooter was supposed to descale a pipe and replace the main sewer line. They showed up with equipment that was not sufficient for the job and had to order a bigger excavator, which made it late in the day when they started. Then they broke the water line, they didn’t realize it was beside the sewer line. They tried to tell me it needed repairing because it leaked. I knew the water bills had been low so I wanted to see for myself. It was only when I went to take a look before authorizing the repair that the technician told me he broke it. Then they didn’t want to repair it with copper, which is what was there before. It was so late by then that my tenant had to go to a hotel for the night. I told them I would hire someone else to finish, and they said they would complete it the next day and give me a discount. They never responded the next day so someone else installed the water line and filled the hole, and I am hiring someone else to descale. I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

The person taking my call was very friendly and Maz the technician showed up that same morning, on time. He unclogged my sewer line, made recommendations and was very professional. Would definitely recommend.

We received prompt, professional and caring service. They were very helpful in getting our insurance claim started and filed. The person most instrumental in getting the job done was Brian Smith. He came by to survey the damage the same night I called in, when Roto-Rooter had told me they were fully booked with no personnel available until the following day. Updated:So, they missed the initial window but sent me a coupon for a discount off their services. With that, I thought I'd give them another shot.They showed up on time the second time around. The plumber they sent was personable and helpful. Adding a star for him. Their prices though are higher than you'd expect (600+ for replacing a flange, 400+ for a repair of one).

I had an emergency late in the night! Within two hours Dominick was here to help. He cleared the line explained the issue and had team set up to come follow up in the morning. J.J. Came just as quickly, help assess the pipes further, gave us all our options and setup everything for same day. Brian came out did a check to follow up to make everything was ready and helped file a claim! Kamron and his team came out to repair the pipe all in less than 24hrs. We had a preliminary person come out from Roto Rooter and he had amazing customer service. He spoke to me about the problems and even offered to assist with the home owners insurance claim. Then we had the plumber come out and not only did he fix the problem (our toilet), he tightened all of my other toilets and checked all of my sinks to make sure there would be no future leaks. My recent experience with Roto- Rooter far exceeded my expectations. My old water tank finally gave out after 22 years but not without leaving a huge mess in my garage. I called Roto-Rooter and within 2 hours Ryan agent #5986 was at my door. Being partially disabled it was hard for me to move items out of the way so he could get to work. Ryan jumped in and got everything moved within a short period of time. He was not only courteous and knowledgeable but had a great sense of humor. We were having a backup issue, a severe pipe leak in our basement, we were unable to use any water for hours and our home had begun to suffer from some water damage. I recently moved into a old rental house where the plumbing has been suspect from day one. So of course a day after Thanksgiving the basement toilet began to overflow with sewage while my children were taking showers. Part of the basement area was covered with nasty toilet water. My husband tried calling the rental agency to no avail. I guess emergency plumbing issues don’t get handled over the weekend/holidays. But that is a separate review in the making.Instead of waiting until Monday I decided to call Roto-Rooter. The service was great from the beginning to the end. Our technician (Cody Sorel) was friendly, a great listener, knowledgeable, observant, and professional. He not only took care of our problem he restored my slightly battered holiday spirit. A little note on his observance-Cody noticed that my 3 kids collect Pokémon cards. Before he began work he gave them each a card! They were super excited and I really appreciate his thoughtfulness. We called Roto-Rooter today after having a poor experience with a few other companies over the past few days. We had a clog in our main sewage line out to our septic tank. We explained everything on the phone and got a good vibe from the scheduling agent. Rob met us on-site and began asking questions before just jumping in. After collecting the info he needed, he started explaining what he could do to troubleshoot the issue and eventually resolve it. He broke down the costs and made a professional recommendation. Rob was training an apprentice during the service which I thought was really cool. People, we need more folks in trades! Rob explained every step of the process but still was very efficient with his time. He was a consummate professional throughout the entire process. I’ve never had such a great experience with a professional plumber. I hope this helps someone out there but remember to b courteous to people in the trade industry, it’s a lot of difficult work that most people don’t have the gumption to deal with. Having someone do it with passion, and excitement was quite rare.

The dispatch person was helpful, listened and included all of the issues so that when Metodi came to our rescue even earlier than they thought hewould arrive, he was professional and efficient. He called in a reinforcement so that the job could be completed within the day: a drain leak another plumber supposedly had repaired - and which went undiscovered by 2 other plumbers and 2 scopes of the camera - also a new drain leak in a tub - they got it taken care of the same day - which is typically rare! Will definitely use Roto-Rooter again.

I was very worried about someone coming into my home during covid. He kept his mask on...I also was worried about the repairs and cost of emergency call. No fee for Emergency! Stephen 8465 came and he was so pleasant caring and he had a great spirit, which put me at ease. He was confident he could fix it. He told me the price and about the customer discount. l appreciated because I'm unemployed right now. Took a few hours to fix. Looked Awesome my floor looked perfect Iiked nothing ever happened. Eric came out and was able to fix my leaking water shut-off. He came late Saturday and when called and worked on it. He had to get a part and come back Sunday to finish the job. He was very polite and a hard worker.

Terrible! I had a leaky toilet and couldn’t use the shut off valve as it began to leak. So I called them. Made an mid day appointment for 2 days later. Service rep came 4 hours after the scheduled appointment. Replaced a $20 valve that took all of 3 minutes once the main was shut off. Charged me 498$ for labor! There was no pipe cutting or anything difficult. Then wanted to charge another $420 to change the toilet mechanism. I declined.Unreal.

They fixed everything and replaced all needed parts, not leaving the premises before making sure everything works to our satisfaction and with no leaks. They also fully maintained social distancing and covered their shoes while walking inside. Pricing in my eyes was extremely high though (what appears to be the company's price list), needed negotiations, leaving a bad taste for otherwise great service (reason for the 4 stars instead of 5).

We had a technician, Kamal, come late on a Sunday Evening to fix a broken pipe. Roto Rooter did not charge a call-out fee and the technician was extremely professional, quick, and knowledgeable. He had the pipe fixed, cleaned up, and willing to help send someone out to assess any water damage within 1.5 hours. I HIGHLY recommend Roto-Rooter for any plumbing issue!

Adam the manager came to my home first. He was really patient with me while I was panicking. He stayed to ensure the insurance portion was handled. Then Tyler and Brian came to set up my fans, humidifier and all the other heavy lifting. They were efficient and explained what they were doing and why. They also have shown up each day to check progress and equipment on time. The plumber Kamal replaced my valves quickly and showed me what he did and why. He also showed me how to work the new device. They are still in process of my job but if I don't come back on the review it's because they maintained their professionalism until the end.

I reached out to Roto Rooter for an outdoor leak that caused our water bill to skyrocket to $1000. Michael from Roto Rooter came out an hour after I called. He was extremely attentive and diagnosed the problem shortly after. He explained everything in detail in regards to procedures and repairs and he came the next morning to repair the issue. Troy Flowers got the job done!! I am very appreciative of his quick and attentive service, especially in these times and especially during the holidays while family is in town. It's very stressful to not be able to accommodate your guests due to a clogged system, but Mr. Flowers saved the new year. I am thankful for him taking time to explain the issues and working with us to get a great price point.

After 2 days of technicians being in my home I still have the original leak until I am prepared to replace my entire system. Advised to contact leak detection company because apparently I also have an underground leak somewhere since my bill increased by $100 in one month.

Service men Daniel and Narcis were very thorough and did a really good job. They cleaned up real well and explained everything that needed to be done before the job and explained what they did after finishing. Very pleasant men. This is ridiculous. I spent $350 dollars for a water drip from the kitchen faucet on November 28th 2021, that still was dripping. I called for someone to come back. When they could find someone, it was 10pm and that was to late. The same person that came Sunday showed up. Still trying to find the problem, then realized he needed to change the cartridge fir the hot and cold handles. He had to go to Home depot for that. Turned around and charged for the parts and installation, $265 and change. REALLY...never again.

Had a toilet issue back on June 3 2023.. Toilet wouldn’t flush and when I would try and flush the toilet my shower would back up with standing urine.. I was assured that the problem was fixed after paying 800 on the spot.. Now today here it is June 26 2023 And Wake up 2 Give My 2 Month Old Baby A Bath In The Tub And I Hear The Toilet Started 2 Bubble.. And Then My Shower Drain Starts 2 Back Up & Flow On To The Floor(Urine)Now We Have Water Dripping Downstairs In The Kitchen From The Light Fixtures Water Dripping From The Vent In Downstairs Bathroom.. They will be fixing this today I’m extremely angry

Tech corrected my plumbing issue however, he was way too impatient to give me a thorough explanation and answer my questions. The Tech specifically told me “we’re wasting time here.” Me, being the customer that is about to pay money for his services.Further, I tried explaining to the Tech that the City Water company has been doing work on the water line directly in front of my house for the past 8 months, and that we had to shut off the hot water heater valve when my pipe burst under my sink, and he raised his voice at me in agitation. I immediately stopped and corrected him. I very patiently said, “Sir, please do not get loud with me in my own house. This is my money, I worked hard to make it, I just want to know that it is being spent wisely, and that you have a complete understanding of the problem I called your company to come fix.” He collected himself and apologized. Now I’m sure Roto-Rooter didn’t train him to be impatient and talk to their customers in that manner. I felt disrespected in my own home. If it wasn’t for the fact that I was in an emergency situation, I would’ve asked him to leave and called a Roto Rooter competitor. I definitely know that had I been a customer in Buckhead or Alpharetta I would’ve gotten better service. So I’m satisfied with the work but deeply disappointed with the customer service given by the Tech.

The technician, Nick ID#6558, did an outstanding job clearing my shower drain quickly and efficiently. My appointment was for 7:30pm, but I was contacted at 5:30 by the company representative informing me that the technician would be at my home within 45 minutes. It took him less than 30 minutes to resolve the clogged drain. Kudos to Nick and Roto-Rooter for delivering A+ service.

I appreciated his calm, friendly and empathic response to the nightmare we’re dealing with. 10 stars!!

Overall four stars because the price of the service was substantially higher than the norm for our area, and the price of the proposed remedial action is astronomical.

My apartment was flooding on a Sunday evening and I needed emergency help. Vlad was here in 15-20 mins. Diagnosed the problem, stopped the flood, fixed the pipe, and cleaned up! Hopefully I won’t need this kind of help again, but if I do, I’m not wasting any time. I’m calling Vlad right away!

The worker was very friendly and respectful - he did good work. It was a bit pricey in my opinion but the quality of the work seems very good so I am happy. I was also extremely happy with how quickly they could come after I called them. I would use them again.

Great service! I called on a Sunday night in an emergency when my hot water heater broke. A technician was at my home within 45 minutes. He was able to get a good quality replacement hot water heater the same night. He was very professional, and did a thorough job, replacing the gas line, water pipe lines, and valves, and labeling everything. He worked until well until the middle of the night to make sure I had hot water before he left, then came back fresh at 8am to finish up some details. I trust the Roto-Rooter name. They will come at any time if it's an emergency, and their technicians are competent and thorough. I would definitely use them again. Just beware the price you pay for an emergency. Having time to shop around in this case maybe could have saved me $500-600.

My 20 year old water heater started leaking, so I called Roto-rooter as I have used them before for a clog removal. Troy was fantastic - very informative and friendly, he helped me make the best choice for a new water heater that would work well for my family and also save us some money. The whole process was painless and a great value. I used to hesitate when calling one of the big names for work like this, thinking that it would be too expensive, but Roto has done better work for less each time I've used them.

I called and was treated with respect and very professional. Set up appointment to have some plumbing work done. Came out. The tech was very nice but didn't care to see his underwear and pants down to his knees. It took over three (3) hours to rebuild two (2) toilets. Once the tech left, I had to call him back (turned around and came back to my house) because both toilets were not repaired correctly. Once he fixed that, he left stating that they were fixed. He left again and by that time, it was close to midnight. Tech had to ask for a trash bag and towel to get the water up off the floor. Company needs to provide the tech's with the supplies that they need to do their jobs. Left grease marks on my doors, toilets, and overall just left a bigger mess for me to clean up. I was going to bed and heard noise and it was my toilet running for no reason. Shut off water, called next day and was told they had an open between the hours of 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Got home, got call stating that they were running behind and could not get there for at least another three (3) hours. I stated that I would reschedule and we rescheduled for the next week. Well that day came and got another call stating the same thing. Running behind and would be at least three (3) hours. Ask why, was told that he didn't know what my problem was but that is the way it works on the night shift and was very limited to repairmen. Got out there really quick to repair but once they have the money, it is always an excuse. You can't trust this company to come back to fix a bigger problem than you already had. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Friends or Family. Not even a stranger. Make sure you keep your money because you will never see them again.

The technician that came to my home gave me the best customer service ever. He was very informative, very helpful and all about making sure that his work was quality and my hot water heater was installed properly and safely. I greatly appreciate someone that takes pride in what they do. Angel did just that and more. We live in a mobile home and it is very hard to find anyone willing to work on them. We called several who were not interested in doing the work, we thought we found one but they never showed up. When we called Roto-Rooter they came right out and gave us an estimate. When we authorized the work they were there within a couple of hours. The technician, Stefan, was very professional, clean, and friendly.

They are now saying its a different pipe and would have to charge me again. If it would have been done right, I would not be going through this. When my water heater leaked all over my basement, I contacted the company who installed it many years ago (RS Andrews) plus Roto-Rooter and 1 other highly-rated company to get 3 cost estimates before selecting the plumber who would do the work.All 3 companies responded quickly but Roto-Rooter got a plumber here first and I was so impressed by his knowledge, professionalism and customer service skills that I decided to cancel the other 2 estimates and have him stay and do the work himself.Ray Wilson, the Roto-Rooter service technician who did the job, did not disappoint. His work was excellent and deserving of the 5-star rating I gave him. Roto-Rooter gets high marks for quality staff and customer service experience.

Horrible. Had a pipe burst under the house. Called Roto-Rooter at 1PM since they advertise emergency same-day service. Said they would send someone at 3PM. 3PM rolls around and I call for an update. They said it will be another 2 hours (while my pipe is still actively leaking). I thankfully called the fire station to turn the water off from the street (I didn't have a street key and the valve was stuck in place). After 2 hours, I call again. They then tell me it could take all night for someone to get to me, but I could wait if I wanted. They felt like my only option, so I waited. 9PM rolls around and they call and tell me they will have to reschedule to the next day at noon. I keep the appointment until the next morning and then call Superior Plumbing who came out within 3 hours of calling. I will never attempt to use Roto-Rooter again and I recommend you don't either if you have an emergency. They will yank your chain all day if they don't have the staff for the job instead of simply just telling you they don't have availability until the next day.

Had a plumbing emergency. Major blockage in the sewer line. Toilets backed up, sewage backing up into the shower. A real mess. My plumber was not available and recommended I call Rotorooter. Called Saturday morning and they were there, as promised, by early afternoon. Narcis was the field supervisor to first show up and soon assessed that he had to call in for assistance. Emanuel, the assistant plumber, was there shortly after. Both were so professional and polite. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it. They were both very knowledgeable and efficient. Tech #3010 (Angel) did an excellent job of diagnosing and repairing our issue. Job was completely timely and site was left neat and clean. Our initial appointment was dispatched to Florida but we live in Georgia, so our initial appointment timeframe was missed. However, once that issue was corrected, the technician arrived timely. Pricey service but good.

HMO Thang was professional, thorough, and quick. He did a thorough check of the plumbing to determine what was causing the slow drainage. He even found a leak in our toilet. He did a great job.

I used this company for 2 jobs at my house. They did good work and I'm satisfied with the quality of work performed BUT they are pricey and their customer service does need some attn. I booked an 8am-12pm appt because I work from 3pm-11pm. Luckily, I took off because the technician didn't arrive until 4:30pm, so much for that 8am-12pm appt. Also I didn't agree with the price of 1 job(replacing a cut-off valve) on the kitchen sink. They charged me $389 for a simple 20min job. I needed the 2nd job more importantly (resetting a toilet) so I agreed to the work anyway. Amazingly the work on the toilet, which was more work physically and time wise was cheaper ($338) than the simple job, go figure.

Joe, ID 5181 provided great customer service. He was able to tell us exactly what was wrong with the water heater and also was realistic that a new water heater may be needed in the future. He completed the fix in a reasonable amount of time.

Troy and Kamal were very knowledgeable and diligent in their work! Very respectful and responded to all my questions. Antonio and Jason Albers were very prompt, courteous, and professional as well.

During the repair process they busted my water-line and repaired it after three attempts. Today, four weeks later it was busted again and my family is without water for two days. Why? Because Roto rooter did not show urgency to our suffering and did not bother to show up for emergency appointment and I am still screaming for help that I paid over $15,000 to repair. The tech who came to my house seemed like he was an awesome guy. However, the pricing schemes are super sketchy. Something that initially required $400+ worth of labor turned out to be $600+ worth of labor once I said, OK, whatever, I just need this fixed and he consulted his 'pricing book/binder' (Mind you this is all on a $155.98 part with only about 1/2 hour of actual labor, about $325 an hour)You can probably go to your local hardware store and get the part for 1/10 of the price and hire someone in the parking lot to install it for 1/6 of the price.

I felt I was ripped off for the simple service to my garage disposal! I paid $350 for just a clog in my disposal to be cleared in 2 minutes and that was the 75% discount! Nope I won’t be using you all again!

We were having some issues with our toilets flushing and we called roto rooter to come out and see what was going on. Long story short, it was nothing but a clogged pipe it took the tech less than 20 minutes and everything was done and back to normal. However the issue was the cost. For 20 minutes of work that entailed hardly any effort, we were charged $465 dollars!!!! To me this is highway robbery. I will never call roto rooter again!!!

My toilet was clogged and we couldn’t get it to breakup. The toilet was so clogged it backed up into the shower, and leaked through the vents. So the tech has to remove the toilet, and snake the drain.

The repair was done professionally and on time with minimal effort on my part. This repair was done in a very tight spot in my home and Stephan made it seem simple . His work was done with no mess and a clean install of replacement pipes. Very good work.

Our service technician was very friendly and knowledgeable when he was called to help with a backed up septic line (yuck). He used safe distancing and wore a mask during the entire visit. We discussed preventive measures that could be taken and when he was finished he cleaned up behind himself, advised us how to disinfect using household items and most importantly before he left he double checked all of the sinks, toilet and the shower drain to sure that we were satisfied with the speed of the drain and if there was anything else we needed. He also pointed out that there was a pretty significant crack starting on the toilet tank and if we wanted him to remedy. Very cool. Thank you.

As far as the technician goes he did what he needed to do which was replace my water heater. As a company as a whole, they dropped the ball. Technicians are not salesmen nor should they have to be. If you need service and pricing you can’t get an answer on the phone, especially on the weekends. All pricing is done by the tech. I asked about financing and all the knowledge he had about financing was there is a credit application online, he knew no specifics on financing or any promotions going on. And when i asked how much the job would he, it sounded like he just thought out a number. I asked if i bought my own water heater how much it would be for just installation and installation was almost twice as much as the water heater Itself. So if anyone at roto would like me to elaborate feel free to contact me.

Pro: They are courteous and prompt.Con: The technician kept changing the price after we eventually found the outside drain. He tapped the drain a few times and the toilets flushed without running over. I paid for the technician to unclog my drains as soon as he left everything started backing up again.

My water heater repair required three different service visits and some parts orders, but it got done. The techs Keenan and Al were both thorough and committed to getting the job done right. The pricing for service was just too steep. I could have almost purchased and installed a whole new unit for the cost of this repair!

Christian was great! He performed the work as quickly as he could (the power outage from the storm didn't really help) and was very professional and polite.

I used this service for the first time last week and i have to say I'm very disappointed. My comments isn't targeting your company as a whole, but your employee. Mr.Brandon is the worst i ever came across. Charged me over $600 just to replace a shower head, left without completing the job. I called him the next day with pictures sent from my renter saying, your plumber didn't complete the job and left a $600 invoice. You replaced the head, but the water isn't coming out properly due to something below that must be tightened up. I asked him why didn't you fix it? he responded that will cost you another $200 for me to twist it back on. At this point i asked him to leave. I will never use this again.

Al (#1856) Roto-Rooter was terrific today. We had a water backup from our downstairs toilet and it flooded half the downstairs with raw sewage. Roto-Rooter is the company I've use for my plumbing issues and have only used them for the past 15yrs on multiple properties. My recent experience was horrible. Everything was great with 1st technician named Cody. He cleared my line in a hour or so. Then his field supervisor came during the job and his name was Keith. After they were done they put a camera down and realized one of their blades were broken off in the pipe which is what was causing the backup. Keith looked me in the eyes and said well that will be around $4,900 to get out. I told him it wasn't my fault a blade was in my line. He then shrugged his shoulders and said well you'll have to prove that and left... I then got the run around for one week until I spoke to Sam in the administration office. He was equally as rude by saying the same thing.. I have children and adults sitting in sewage due to a Roto Rooter blade being stuck in my line and them not acknowledging it or help remediate the situation... This of course can lead to sickness and diseases...This is a horrible company and the Norcross branch is at the top of the list.. Stay away from Roto-Rooter... A bunch of crooks that charge you $500 to clear your pipes, get a blade stuck in it, then tell you its $5k to fix. Top worst plumbing company of all times!!

Great, quality work with professional employees who arrived on time. Communication for me is an important factor and I was glad they were able to handle my insurance claim with awesome persistence. Great company. Better employees.

It started when making an online appointment. The window was from 11am-3pm. Didnt show up until well after 3pm. Had them come out to diagnose a leaky pressure valve. Quoted over 1000 for the job, seemed to be an off the head price. When we pushed backed on pricing, no other payment options were offered. The online price for estimates stated $50, however was charged 70 after he took off $40 from what he quoted. Just an horrible experience because it felt like we were an inconvenience. And nothing lined up right.

Joe was our Tech. He did an outstanding job. He showed up and diagnosed the problem quickly. He had it fixed in no time. The charge was not that much and was almost exactly what he quoted. We will definitely use this company again in the future. Very happy with their service.

There are many good plumbers in Atlanta. Roto Rooter is not one of them. I paid them to install a sump pump over a year ago and had to have them back multiple times to repair a faulty install. Over the weekend their shoddy work sprung a leak and they insisted on charging me to repair their poor quality work. Once I paid an exorbitant price they proceeded to cut some PVC pipe which they then stitched together with rubber gaskets, virtually guaranteeing problems in the future. I questioned them on this work and they assured me it was fine and would be guaranteed for only 30 days.... Bottom line, Roto Rooter is incompetent and unethical and I recommend you use another plumbing company.

Russell Brown was my grandmother's technician and was absolutely amazing! He came in and inspected the areas that needed to be fixed and then went over the different ways he could fix the plumbing issues. He fixed the issues in no time and made sure everything was fixed perfectly. I loved how he sat us both down and went over the issue, how he fixed it, and how to prevent it from happening again. He also gave my grandmother pointers of next steps for her septic tank. He was a very respectful and knowledgeable young man. Will request him in the future if services are needed again.

the first person that came out on 9/15 had a defective drain auger that would not spin. its not good for business for a representative to have defective tools. Dispatch could not send another person out during the time i was available.on 9/16 the next day a different person came out Charlie who knew much more about cleaning drains. it took him about 2 hrs but he worked hard and did a good job. i am pleased with his personal presentation to his customers. Roto-Rooter sent out a guy named Eric due to the water in our home turning brown. He came into our homes and turned all of the faucets on for about 10-15 mins. THATS IT!!! He then charged us $250 for him running our water before even giving us any quote. He also stated the problem was municipal and still proceeded to charge us $250 for running water.

I hate leaving reviews but the guys were so great and responsive I feel bad Not leaving one. From the moment I called, RR was professional/responsive…someone was in contact right away to say they’d be there in 45 (which they were) on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. Chris the trainee knew the problem and fixed it within 5min. Literally. They only charged me a (very reasonable) trip charge. Highly recommend them!

We called Roto-Rooter around 11 AM and they were out here by 2 PM or a little before. Now that's service! The gentleman who came out was very professional and polite. He explained everything needing to be done and how to go about fixing it. Recommend them.

I had a bathroom water leak that was dripping and leaking into my basement. I called around 3-4pm and they said they could come and help me today, that they would be here sometime between 5pm-9pm. They said an insurance inspector would come to assess damage, which he did around 6ish. They called at 7:10 to tell me they were still coming, busy, but would still make it out. I waited until 8:55pm to call and ask if they were still planning to show up, they said they were but they were running late. They assured me to still expect them though.. I got a call at 9:50pm only for them to tell me they were not going to show up tonight. I’ve been waiting for almost 5hours and my day has been waisted. Definitely not open 24/7..

The worse plumbing company out. They came to fix 2 leaks and only fixed 1. They then tried to tell me it would be over $2000 after I paid those fees. The receptionist was rude, the manager was a joke, and the technician was clueless and walked off the job today and left a mess. I will never use this company again and call Roto-Rooter and the issue was fixed in less than 2 hours.

Our office was in need of someone to bring the jet machine out due to a clog in the pipes. We had to turn the water off due to it leaking. Michael Walker called us back and said that he was on his way and even though it took him an hour and half to get to us, he still came. We had an urgent need for a plumber to come and fix a clog in the kitchen sink pipes that was causing no water to pass through the drain/disposal. I scheduled the appointment at 6 in the morning and they came later that afternoon and fixed the problem. Maybe a little more expensive than a local company, but worth it for the same day service.

I called Roto Rooter on Saturday for an old 13 yr old water heater that started to leak bad. I had guests coming into town and with no ability to take any showers Roto Rooter was able to come by the same day a few hours later and was able to replace and install a new water heater by 10pm. We were very pleased. It's sad on how much we rely on water. The water heater was leaking so bad that we had to shut off water from the street so we couldn't even use the bathroom let alone wash our hands. Thanks Roto Rooter!

Michael and his team (Brandon and Sam) were great! They calmly explained every step and minimized the intrusive demolition to get the vents for drying set up. During a very stressful water damage situation they were professional and gave me peace of mind that clean up was possible.

The technician did not provide me with an estimated cost prior to completing work (replace a flange and wax ring) and then surprised me with a bill of +$740. He eventually lowered it to $551. To replace a wax ring and flange! The technician was not rude at all, but the lack upfront cost was frustrating.Working as a contractor I understand that hourly rate is not always the bottom line. But this was outrageous.

I had a clogged kitchen sink, called Roto-Rooter, and someone was at my house to fix it within 2.5 hours. Emir Celic was a great technician. He was friendly and not only explained my problem to me but also how I could avoid it in the future. I appreciated his efforts to provide me with the most cost-effective solution. He also had some pretty funny stories to share when I thought my clog was bad! I definitely recommend.

Never showed for appt. Called me at 1:15 to say they’d be there at 2pm for our appt window which was from 2-4. I called them at 4:45 to say the tech never arrived and they said that my window was from 2-4. Right… and it was 4:45. So they then say that they will call me when a plumber is available….. after saying someone was on their way and would be there at 2pm. Sigh. Waste of time. I cancelled work meetings to be ready for their arrival.

I can't say enough about how professional and dependable our repairman Dustin was. Even though he didn't have the parts on his truck, he helped us come up with a solution to have water over night and returned promptly the next morning at 8am to repair our damaged water line. He then followed up with a phone call to advise me on future repairs that may be needed and how to cover back up the water line. I can't thank him enough, I know the last thing a plumber wants to do is crawl into a 3ft deep mud hole on a Monday morning to fix a pipe.

Our toilets were all backed up, and not only did Benjamin Evans do a great job of getting us flushing again, but he also went out of his way to try to discern why we had a repeating problem. The service was prompt and excellent. What I was so disappointed with was the initial price of $525.00 to replace a garbage disposal. I felt that was way out of line . So he brought bit down to 350.00 and said it would take an hour. It took him 15 minutes to do the work. So now I feel ripped off again.

I would recommend their service to anyone, as I was in a tight spot and needed help quickly. I would have given 5 stars if the price had been a bit cheaper but I understand the business and know this type of service is not cheap. I have been spoiled over the years by using the same plumber as I am sure he does not charge me full price.

I had a main water line clog that backed up into my house and every step was executed perfectly each day. Roto rooter cleaned my drain and got the job done. The rep was on time couteous and professional. But $675 to clean a drain? Never again. Especially after I saw another company does the same job for hundreds less. If you want quick over-priced service, then by all means use them. If you want a company more economical then shop around.

I had a plumbing issue with my washer from Sears. There team didn't talk the to install the washer correctly and left me high and dry. Stefan from Roto Rooter was great. I call on a Tuesday and he was here Tuesday night. If I ever have an other plumbing issue I will definitely call them again and request Stefan.Thanks so much for being great.

I had a plumbing emergency that flooded my upstairs and downstairs. Roto-Rooter responded immediately and sent out a tech who replaced a cartridge in my shower (costing $500.00 but was reduced to $400.00) and advised me that i needed to have a new pressure valve installed, which would cost over $900.00 or the problem would either keep occurring or would end up causing further problems. When the tech left my shower was still leaking so i called the manager whose name was Sam. He immediately sent out another tech who said he didn't feel comfortable installing a pressure valve because he was a fairly new tech and he had never installed that particular model so he called for a senior tech named Cory who came right away and within minutes installed a new pressure valve. During his service call i found out that he was also a U.S.military veteran. After replacing the pressure valve the shower was still leaking so Cory replaced the cartridge and the shower immediately stopped leaking. Cory advised me that the initial tech had either used a bad cartridge or that had somehow damaged it upon installation so I called the manager back and informed him of what had occurred and he told me that due to my inconvenience and the fact that the initial tech had either failed to properly diagnose the problem or failed to fix the problem , as a courtesy, i would not have to pay any more money. During the entire service call Cory was at all times professional, courteous, and his expertise was very impressive as well as comforting in such a traumatic experience. He even referred me to their water remediation team who came out within hours to give me and estimate on water damages. I highly recommend asking for Cory if you ever need to use Roto-Rooter. Thank you Cory for all that you do! You are a credit to the community as well as your country.

This was one of the best service experiences I have ever had. Matthew helped walk me through the situation and the claims, while Emanuel isolated and repaired the problematic pipe. Both were very thorough and polite throughout the entire experience. They made a stressful time into something manageable with target actions and resolutions. I would use them for any further plumbing work in the future. Currently Brandon and Samuel are working through the clean up of water damage, providing excellent understand about the situation and it’s solutions.

1) The online appt feature didn't work. I had to call after customer service after no one showed on schedule day.
2) Two days after receiving service, issues came back. I called customer service, they said the work wasn't guarenteed. Wasted $500. Will never use Roto-Rooter again!

I had a great first experience with Roto-Rooter Atlanta. My technician was Emmanuel who helped me to investigate and identify the cause of a leak dripping through my ceiling.I was not able to be present at my apartment while Emmanuel was visiting for his repairs but nevertheless he kept me informed of his progress by phone calls and sending video recordings. He also had to involve an upstairs neighbor and he was courteous in his explanation that our troubleshooting would be helped if she could turn on various showers, faucets, and other sources of water. Shawn was excellent! We had an entire house blockage happened the week after everyone in Atlanta’s pipes burst, and it was almost impossible to find a plumber to come out. We were so grateful that rotor rooter was able to come out within three hours of calling them. The work took about six hours and Shawn did a great job cleaning out our back up (even if it meant him staying until 1:30 AM)!

Had our sum pump replaced and after leaving pump is on non stop and made loud noise I called in about in the first place. Not happy with the service but I did make a call back so let’s see what the outcome is after spending $1500.00… update the issue has been fixed properly that same evening upon call back and a new technician ( Saw)who was amazing! It did however throw a wrench into our plans for the evening but customer service did provide us a refund for the inconvenience and took care of the issue.

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I called for an emergency with water flooding in my bathrooms at 3:00pm and they told me they would have a technician out between 4pm and 8pm. A field agent showed up about 30 minutes later and proceeded to tell me how bad the problem was, that the damages were going to be over 15,000$. He told me that he was going to rush a technician because the problem was bad and didn’t need to be left. He left, and at 7:45pm dispatch calls me in a very rude manor and snippy and said they aren’t going to make it out and that the quickest they could be back is between 10am and 2pm. I called the field agent and said they moved their times until tomorrow and he responded with no, I will make some calls to get someone out there tonight. Zero phone calls or people responded. The next morning I called and wanted a confirmation of my appointment, and that they will 100% be there at the time they said. The dispatcher promised and the time was guaranteed. Since I had to go to work, I had my mom come sit at the house. NO ONE EVER CALLED OR SHOWED UP IN THAT TIME SLOT!!!!!!!! They call me at 3pm and said someone was on their way. Umm forget it.WORST customer service. They have no sense of urgency and try to scare you into paying them all this money to fix problems that weren’t even there.I called another company. They came out within a hour and said the damage that the “field agent” said was a huge problem and a huge concern wasn’t even there. Zero, all that needed to be done was fixing some seals.*******DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mazen, my tech was very professional, suggested improvement that was really needed for a 20 year old toilet replacement and it's issues. Woke to no hot water and a leaking water heater. Neighbor recommended Roto Rooter; I called at 9am and they were here within the hour. Technician ASM was here most of the day uninstalling the 10 year old water heater and installing a new one. He was always very professional, detailing what was to be done and the cost. I have to admit I was unsure about using them as I had a less than stellar experience with Roto Rooter in the past, a different place and time. Glad I reconsidered and gave them another try. I was dreading calling a plumber to fix my clogged kitchen sink and leaking faucet. Ray from Roto-Rooter was so polite and did a great job. I told him about some of the other issues that I was having regarding running water in my toilets and he checked my water pressure and found that it was at 100 instead of 50. Told me that this was the reason that I have had to replace so many faucets the past few years. I have had several other plumbers and not one of them checked my water pressure. I called him again yesterday to come back to fix the pressure problem. I will call Roto-Rooter overtime from now on. Thank you

I had roto come for a backup in master bedroom 4 times since June 2022. On the third and fourth visit they were suppose to send a camera crew to look down in the pipes. Each time I followed up the next day my ticket was cancelled. No called from them as to why my ticket was cancelled. Unprofessional.

I had a leaking supply line that caused a small lake in my house. The initial response was quick and the mitigation person showed up before the plumber. However, the placement of fans to dry te water was not until 3 days after the leak and the tech kept changing the arrival time.

I think this company specializes in water damage and other serious plumbing issues and probably do a great job. I had a very basic plumbing need: Replace a wax seal at the base of the toilet. Standard price is as low as $150 in our area. Roto- Rooter? $420. About a 30 minute job. They did a good job, but are overpriced for basic plumbing. I was able to get a $75 coupon which still put this job $200 too high. Hopefully the owners can view this and not over charge. Anyone can check a normal price for this service. Not acceptable. Check price before they arrive!!!!

The plumber was very polite and definitely diagnosed an issue with our toilet being the main source of the leak - which I'm sure was part of the problem. However, he did not do any investigation to find out if there was something else. I spent $800+ and still have a leak and now have to have another appointment to fix whatever isn't fixed.UPDATED: The plumber came back out even though it was late in the day and he found the leak and repaired it with minimal damage to drywall, etc. He's a good man. My roommate called roto-rooter to get a price on unclogging our kitchen sink. They won’t even give you a ballpark quote over the phone. This is so that you don’t call another company but instead wait all day and hopefully you’re good and desperate by the time they come and tell you it will be $482, and with the same exact information that the scheduler was given since the tech didn’t even look at the sink. Why it is that price is irrelevant and there is only one reason they wouldn’t quote it over the phone (their excuse is the schedulers don’t have the pricing, only one reason they don't because lets face it, they very easily could have it available) so I felt compelled to give this little public service announcement. If your sink is clogged, it’ll be at least $482! They didn’t charge to waist our time and the tech was polite so I gave two stars rather than one.

Ryan Brown was excellent. Despite the hour of the day (3:30am to 5:00am), he was communicative throughout the service call (inside and outside) and answered all our questions, to include those related to next steps. If/when this same event ever happened to a friend or neighbor, we would definitely recommend.....especially Ryan as the tech.

Martin was very courteous and explained everything in detail. I was very impressed with the service I received and grateful for avoiding a huge water bill!

I had an excellent experience with Rahmel Willis. He was friendly, efficient and very helpful. My bathtub faucet was leaking and Rahmel informed me of the problem (cartridge replacement) as well as a few other things that were helpful. He also gave me a great price! He was punctual and cleaned up after himself when he was finished. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I've had using a plumber and I'll definitely call him again if / when I have any additional plumbing needs.

We were experiencing a sewage backup on a Sunday when no other plumber would come. Edward arrived on time, got to work immediately, and explained what he was about to do. He was friendly and professional. He corrected the problem, explained the restoration process to us, and detailed what the company would do remove all contaminated materials. In addition, Edward was very helpful in offering suggestions to prevent reoccurrences of the problem. His professionalism was clear from the way he cleaned up when the job was completed. Technician could not unclog my drain line. Sold me a $76 gallon of drain opener, used it then wait 12 hours. It has been 3 hours and drain is still clogged.

I had a flood with the most recent torrential rains. Rotor Rooter was great in sending someone out immediately, however, the first guy (Michael) that arrived wasn’t a plumber, but responsible for “clean up and drying services”, so more of a sales guy type.He did a mediocre assessment (as in provided absolutely no value), but was trying to pressure me into signing up for drying services to the tune of 4K, before a thorough assessment that could be done. Classic case of trying to take advantage of and pressure a woman. THIS IS NEVER OK!He called a plumber to come, and while we waited, he would not sit down as offered. He appeared to be over zealous (or had a severe case of ADHD), in walking/exploring my first floor where the flood occurred (pacing excessively around my home) which totally creeped me out and had me quite anxious. He lacked basic, simple business acumen.When the plumber arrived, the first guy said he needed to go to another appointment across town. I was relieved when he left, but as I was dealing with the plumber, he pops back up abt 10m later knocking on my interior garage door (my rear garage door was left open), but at this time, the plumber and I were at the front of my house. Again, quite uncomfortable as this freaked me out.Back to the plumber, after cutting 4 sizable chunks of sheetrock (which I approved), I was told it was not a plumbing issue and I was charged $300, for basically nothing. $300 for an assessment (which should hv been somewhere between $50-$75), especially when the plumber did significant damage to my ceiling.IMHO, there should have been a better way. I won’t recommend nor ever use them again! I only gave one star as there was no way to select ZERO star.

The repair guy from Roto-Tooter was great. My only problem was with their dispatch department. I was given a time frame and someone called and said they would be here in 1 hour. They didn't actually come till the next morning. I don't have a problem waiting a day if that is what the schedule is, just don't keep me sitting around waiting for someone for 6 hours.

The greater Atlanta Roto-Rooter was called out due to a faulty water heater. The promptness of service was punctual. The technician that was sent out name was Owen, he had to be the worse technician on the payroll. He explained to me it would cost me $375 for a service call to the water heater and the price would go towards service rendered. I agreed to the price, Owen spent all of 5 to 10 minutes on diagnostics and 20 minutes calling the company to see if I had a warranty. At the end of the diagnostic he stated it was the power supply. This was not a plumbing issue. I expressed to him I was not satisfied with the service, when the power supply was fixed later today what guarantee do I have the water heater will work. At this point I called the local office and spoke to Lance Chapman which is the general manger and simply wanted assurance that if this was not an electrical issue the company would follow up and fix the water heater. Lance goes on to tell me I am having buyers remorse. Paying the amount that was due was never the issue, I am a business owner that have several businesses around metro Atlanta area. I have 10,000X the amount the bill, this company is very unprofessional and a rip off. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

RotoRooter came and unclogged an exterior storm drain for our condo building. I made the appointment late in the evening and they came out the next day. The window for the appt. was from 10am to 12pm, unfortunately the technician didn't arrive until almost 2pm. That being said though, the tech was professional, kept me in the loop on exactly what he was doing and what the problem was. He cleared the drain within an hour. I would use Roto-Rooter again for sure.

Landlord wanted a second opinion on replacing some plumbing pipes. We had a plumber look at it before, but she wanted someone else to look to make sure that there wasn't another (cheaper) option.Tech showed up, I started explaining the issues, and that someone was out here before.He repeated that by asking So someone was already out here?I stated there had been, and the landlord wanted a second opinion. He was walking out the front door at that point.As he walked up the driveway, he said, over his shoulder, I only do sewer and drains, you need a plumber, I'll call one... Couldn't catch the last part as he was already near his van. Within a minute of walking out of my house, he was driving away.F&CKIN RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL, not to mention not friendly at all! Certainly have no interest in Roto-Rooter if that is how their employees act.

We had a leak last night from our attic and called this company to see how much it would cost to have someone look at the problem and provide an estimate. We were told on the phone that it wouldn’t cost us anything (which is in line with their website), so we had a technician come out. The technician was in our house less than 3 minutes and told us that it was the HVAC leaking and that their company doesn’t service HVACs. As he’s leaving, he asked us to pay $200 for a service fee so that his “rating doesn’t go down.” I explained that he didn’t’ service anything (didn’t even get off the attic ladder) and the estimate was supposed to be free, so no… I will not be paying that money.I called the next day to make sure this technician was not trying to scam us, and indeed he was not. This company considers a free estimate as someone coming to your home and not looking at anything. I’m assuming you can do this over the phone? If they even glance at the leak, they charge you a diagnostic fee. Complete false advertisement and I don’t deal with companies who are not upfront in their charges.We went with Ragsdale, who did a wonderful and professional job. Please be wary in dealing with this company and their hidden charges (that they boastfully advertise to not have).

I called because there was a plumbing problem causing sewage to back up in both apartments in my duplex. The representative (I am sorry but I do not remember her name) was very professional and courteous. Even though it was 9 pm on a Friday night she assured me that somebody would arrive shortly to correct the problem. About 45 minutes later Robert (1017) arrived and began assessing the situation. He was also very professional and took his time to make sure he fully understood the situation and addressed all my questions and concerns. After that he quickly diagnosed the problem and after ensuring I understood the problem and costs he quickly corrected the problem. Roughly 90 minutes after calling the problem was fixed and things were back to normal for two families. I was also surprised and impressed to hear that Roto_Rooter offers a 90 day guarantee that if the problem returns in the next 90 days they will come back at now extra charge. Not my preferred way to spend Friday night but the professionals at Roto-Rooter made it as pleasant as it could be.

Qwen the Senior Technician and Ryan a Technician in training arrived promptly and immediately went to work assessing the problem with our water system.They were extremely polite and professional in their demeanor. I was so impressed that Owen began asking questions right away about what we were experiencing to assist him in his diagnosis of the problem. The team went to work examining the system in areas throughout the house. They checked and rechecked water pressure and reviewed the water tank and outlets in the utility area. They confirmed a problem with the valve controlling water pressure to the home. They removed and replaced the unit and brought the defective unit in to explain to us its condition and why they had to change it out. They were very clear in their terminology and outlined what they had done and why. They answered questions from both my husband and I with patience and in detail.Owen and Ryan also uncovered other issues of which my husband and I were not aware. They discovered we were using our utility room for storage and pointed out the danger we faced in getting to our water turnoff faucets for the inside and outdoors of our home quickly in case of an emergency. They also pointed out that we needed to create an access doorway so service people could get to our water tank if it needed to be repaired or replaced. The only door to our utility room is significantly to the left of the water tank making it impossible to get to it or remove it easily if problems develop with this unit in the future. Owen had some great suggestions for how to address this problem that made sense and could be done without spending an excessive amount of money.Additional questions were answered as well with patience and practical answers which will be of tremendous help to my husband and I as we move forward. They put blowers in upstairs and downstairs with plastic draping for 5 days 24/7. Then they actually rolled the heavy equipment down the stairs, scratching floors, walls, denting doors and staircase. They had used duct tape to hang the plastic and tore off paint and drywall all through the house. They damaged the vanity during the tear out. Home insurance does NOT cover the damage that repair contractors cause. I’ve been trying to get them to fix things for two months. Do NOT use them - there are quality plumbing companies out there that will not damage your home and then leave you without paying or fixing the problems!!!!

We just bout a house, and the water hookups for our new washer couldn't be accessed because they'd rusted shut, and rusted completely onto the old washer's hookups, so we needed a plumber fast so we could have clean underwear. RotoRooter was out that same day, didn't charge us an emergency fee, and even connected the washer for us as soon as the repair to the pipes was done.

We had a sewer line back up Christmas Day with a house full of guests. I called and the technician Martin N. was at our home in Druid Hills within 45 minutes. He carefully inspected our clean out valves from the house to the street and then carefully inspected basement plumbing. He discovered big roots blocking line. He gave us a quote which we happily accepted and then spen an hour properly cleaning out the drain and removing roots. When he was done he cleansed basement floor with bleach. He was really careful and worked a very long time on our problem. Would definitely call again!!!

After using many small plumbing companies that were chosen by my HO Warranty or Insurance Company since buying my home in 2012, it has amazed me that the same plumbing problems kept occurring....once the warranties expired, and of course the problem presented itself again, I called Roto-Rooter @ 2015 and they sent out Konsidin. He had to jackhammer my laundry room (ground) floor to replace a drain that was not functioning. He was meticulous in his craft, even gave me his cell phone number for follow-up----the problem I had for three years, I NEVER have had an issue with it since.Last week, I noticed some watermarks on my kitchen ceiling and they were in a lined pattern- I called Konsidin (this is 5 years later- same cell #- same company) and he told me when he was available and I scheduled with Roto-Rooter for him to come out. He was able to diagnose the problem without tearing up my whole kitchen ceiling. It turns out that it is a roofing issue- not a plumbing one.Konsidin has been with this company for a long time, he is the ONLY plumber I trust.When the Nay-sayers tell me that I have spent way too much for this service at this company, I smile and think about the thousands of dollars he has saved me from day 1 because of the 3 prior incompetent plumbers beforehand.

We had some water damage due it plumbing issues, and Roto-Rooter was prompt and responsive. The young man who worked on my unit was extremely thorough and in good spirit which put us in a calm and collected mood as well. It is not what I had planned for my Saturday night but I truly believe no one would have gotten the job done as quickly and accurately as he did. Trash!!!! I had a 8-12 scheduled.I waited and waited. 1230 came around and no one showed up or called me. I called the office and the representative tell me that all the techs are backed up and she have no ETA. Around 2pm I received a text message saying that one is now available and can arrive within 30-45mins. To be honest, I didn’t want to wait anymore but since I was already waiting and had an extra hr to spare I told them I was still available. Just after 3pm I received another text message saying the wait will be longer and they have to send someone else. I told them to cancel my “appointment” and I went with another company who arrived within an hour and got the job done. I honestly believe Roto Rooter is taking on more than they can actually chew. The only reason I called them first because of their reviews but this was not a great first experience for me. I give them one star.

They xame replace a toilet flange. I've had this repair done twice in Mty other home due to faulty installation and never was I charged as much as roto rooter. 4× the national average is what they charged me and I have more work done with the other two toilets. I will never use them again.

I called this morning for a tech to come out to the house to unclog a kitchen drain and I was told they would send someone out between 9am - 11am. 1pm came around and I didn't see anyone, so I called them and someone on their dispatching team told me hopefully, they'll finish in the next 1-2 hours so we can come over. It's almost 4:30pm now and I've called several times asking if there was going to be a tech coming out today. I had to hang up after being put on hold for an unreasonable amount of time and tried calling again to ask for a manager to which they hesitantly couldn't connect me to, which I find very suspicious. Find another plumbing company that respects you and your time.Update: It's funny how their customer service manager got to this review first before the actual service. I guess this shows where their priorities are. This is the second day that everything above happened. They still won't let me speak with a manager.

I called them to repair a leak and perform mitigation on 11-24. I was told that the equipment would be picked up on 11-28. No one showed up, no emails or calls were returned. I called again on 11-29 and reached Joshua who said that equipment would be removed today. That was 9:30 am. So far no one has shown up, all phones are going to automatic voice mail. This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had. Never again.

The hose on our master bathroom toilet came loose today and flooded our master bathroom. The water ran from our top floor all the way down to the garage. It definitely was a nightmare to process. However, we made one call to Roto-Rooter for emergency service, and our day started to get better from there. We received an ETA window of between 3pm and 7pm. Shortly after 3 the Field Supervisor, Einar Soto, arrived. He was very pleasant, professional, and efficient. Within 5 minutes he was able to identify the cause of the problem, the repair solution. He recommended we contact our home owner's insurance to see if they would cover the damage, and immediately began to document the damage to our property. He shared with us everywhere the water had traveled so we were aware of the extent of the damage. Shortly thereafter the Service Technician, Richard Awatey, arrived. Richard promptly repaired the hose, showed us where the piece had broken, and was on his way. We couldn't have asked for a more professional service providers. You have won our business long term. My in-laws had a plumbing emergency. They had no working toilets in their home. It was Labor Day weekend, and we had a hard time finding a plumber. Every company that we contacted told us that due to the holiday and staff shortages, they'd have to wait 2 to 3 days to get a plumber. Roto-Rooter came to the rescue after literally contacting 20 companies. Our plumber, Dominique, was courteous and professional. He found and resolved the issue promptly. We were expecting to be hit with a huge bill due to the holiday and it being an emergency call. Dominque was very kind and even gave us a generous discount. We highly recommend Roto-Rooter. Their staff was very professional and kind.

The guy was very helpful when he came out, but my appointment time was from 8-12, and no one showed up until 2 pm, and I had to call them to ask why no one had shown up. Also when he filled out the form there was no indication of where he got his price from, i didn't know how much he was charging for labor, and what was for parts, and when he told me the price he looked like he just threw out a random number, and didn't look anything up. However, he knew what he was doing, was very polite and got the job done. I had gone with roto-rooter before when needing a new garbage disposal and was more impressed with that visit, which is why I went with them when my shower was leaking this time.

Uninterested repairman that seemed to take easy way out for repair. Kitchen faucet although functional is something I could have performed. Impression I received was they wanted to perform work that required full replacement.

Roto rooter installed a new water line from the meter to my house, they did an excellent job and did it quickly. They installed copper piping in my house 19 years ago and it is still going strong. I am very impressed with the company and will continue to use them for my plumbing needs.

The two technicians, Christian and Toni were the most professional and just basically NICE people. They took their time to explain the problem and what was being done to repair and any further repairs necessary. Toni is training under Christian, who is patient and extremely knowledgeable. He should be put in a position to train new technicians as he is a natural and very good teacher. Toni, is extremely polite and pays a great deal attention to detail, is and will be a great asset to Roto-Rooter or any company or profession she pursues.

I had a problem with a leaking toilet I called roto rooter in the morning and I got a response right away a human answered instead of a recording l told her my problem and I got to schedule an appointment for the same day at any time that was convenient for me and they would call me within 30 minutes of his arrival to let me know he was on his way. Owen #3151 arrived on time . He checked out the problem and showed and explained to me everything that had to be done and told me what the total cost of the repair would be. He did the work and explained what he was doing as he did the repair. When he was done he made sure everything was cleaned up. He prepared the invoice and explained about the one year guarantee on all the work. I have to say I was very pleased with the entire experience. I will be using roto rooter for all my plumbing problems from now on.

We have two small kids (5 & 3). of course, they have put stuff down the toilet. I bought one of those snake things and once retrieved a colored pencil. So when our toilet in the en suite wouldn't flush properly, I wasn't alarmed. However, after snaking it several times, plunging it like I am Mario, and trying some of the Green Gobblin stuff...I knew it was beyond my scope. I reluctantly called Roto Rooter. It's my first time. They came (charged no like house visit fee), examined my toilet, and explained my options. They fixed the problem and pulled a piece of plastic that is used to hold new candle wicks up.....WAs it cheap? NOpe, but I am glad I have a solution. I would definitely use Roto Rooter again. I scheduled an appointment and given 12pm - 4pm appointment window. I called 3 times the day of the appointment to verify when they would arrive. Each time was told I get a call 45 minutes before the arrival. At 4:06 PM my 4th call, they said the technicians are still busy with another repair that was approved (after my scheduled) & sorry she could re-schedule me for another day. They NEVER called me even when they knew the appointment would not show up at the times provided. Wasted 4 hours out of my work day waiting on them as promised. DO NOT EVER use Roto Rooter, not a reputable or reliable company. Run and look elsewhere.

Alex was the technician sent and he was amazing. Giovanna was the dispatch lady and she was great.Had some hiccups from the schedule side. But, the service received by these two people makes up for it.

There were some clogging and backup issues at my parents' house in the basement. My Dad called Roto-Rooter in the late afternoon and two people came out to the house within the hour. Both were extremely kind.Khali was our technician and he not only checked everything out, identifying sources and issues, talking us through everything for our own understanding, but also worked for a good 5 hours and was here until after 10 pm. He was thorough and insightful and did not leave until he felt everything was taken care of for the night.Roto-Rooter returned in the morning to continue working and although we have a few days of work ahead of us, we are very pleased with how responsive and reliable everybody has been so far.

Not overall happy with RotoRooter services, definitely will not be using them again. RotoRooter is a one of those big plumbing companies that don't actually care about customers. Better to go with a local plumbing/mitigation company.

The only reason I'm giving this company 2 stars instead of 1 is because when I spoke to the plumber he was extremely nice. However, my overall experience left MUCH to be desired.My plumbing issues started on Wednesday afternoon. I scheduled for Roto Rooters to come on Thursday (noon-5 pm) to look at my issue. I took off of work, and sat at home for the entirety of that window. At 5 pm after not hearing from Roto Rooters, I called to see if they were still coming. The woman who answered the phone told me they were running extremely late, and she was unsure. I remained at home, and at 5:30 pm the plumber called me. Again, he was very nice and apologetic. He was the bright part of this whole experience. He said we had to reschedule.We rescheduled my appointment for the following day, Friday, from 8 am to noon. I (again) took off of work, and sat in my house from 8 am to noon. I then called Roto Rooters to see if they were coming, because I had other obligations for that afternoon. They assured me that I was next. I called my brother and asked him to sit at my house while I went to work. They called me 2 of 3 more times, and said they were busy, but planned to send someone my way.They never did. I had to leave town that Friday night, so I needed the service done before I left. Had there been a bit more transparency, I could have scheduled another plumber instead of waiting 2 full days for them to ultimately not be able to accommodate me. I still haven't heard from Roto Rooters (it's now Monday). I saw the cancellation notice in my email.Maybe this is uncharacteristic of their business. However, I will not be using them again.

Our plumber, Josh, came out at a time that was convenient for us and was able to assess our problem quickly. He fixed the blockage in our kitchen drain, cleared all of the extra water and cleaned up the work area to where it was better than when he found it. We are extremely pleased with the professionalism and expertise that he displayed and will definitely ask for him if we have any future issues. Very satisfied!

I was having sewage come up through my tubs and toilets so I paid over $5K to have Roto Rooter come out to replace 10 feet of pipe, install a sewer clean out, and jet the remainder of the line. I know I overpaid for this service, but I was in a bind and they were the only company who was (allegedly) able to come and do the work the next day.After “completing” the work in a record amount of time, I requested documentation and photo proof of the work completed. The field supervisor, Dyshun Grant, lied and told me the work was complete but kept dodging my request for photos.After days of calling the corporate offices, I finally received photos of the work done. Only the sewer clean out was installed! By this time sewage was backing up again into my backyard. It was only after I threatened them with a lawsuit did they come out to install the 10 feet of pipe. It was another 2 days until they jetted the line and the work was actually complete.The blatant dishonesty showed by this company was unacceptable - I will never use them again. To top it all off, I was charged $1K more than the contracted amount once the work was completed! I am still trying to get this resolved with accounting. This has been a nightmare from start to finish. Buyer beware!

Had a leaking PRV replaced. The overall cost was a little pricey, but they came out quickly and the technician and his trainee were very professional. In the end I was very satisfied.

The first crew responded and figured out the issue but did not have the right plumbing snake so a second crew came out and corrected the problem.All were knowledgeable and professional.

I scheduled Roto-Rooter to come out yesterday. They told me someone would be here in 2 hours. Approximately 3 hours later, a supervisor shows up, and I show him what needs to be done. He takes photos and says he will send them to the technician coming out. 3 more hours go by without someone coming by. I look at my phone, and there is a text message saying my technician is ready to come by, but 1 hour had passed since the text was received, so when I send the Y message that I am ready, they reply telling me my window of opportunity has passed, and someone would call me.I understand checking to see if someone plans to keep an appointment, but if I let a supervisor in to walk around and show them the clogged-up sink, that confirms that I want them to come by. I am looking elsewhere.

Tech was nice enough, but that was my only positive. First, upon booking, there was no confirmation of appointment electronically...all other places send immediate text or email notification. Second, tech had no idea of pricing and took a while to look things up in a book. Third, the price was ASTRONOMICAL given the small fix I needed. Fourth, after tech left, the shower knob was reattached so tightly that it couldn't even be moved in any direction. How could he not even check that when finished? WOEFULLY expensive overall...I could've given them a break here if the service was better, but won't rely on them again. I guess they are good in a pinch cuz they get folks out to you quickly, but the value ends there. Pretty disappointing.

Plumbing issues with my toilets/shower. The technician Troy was very versed & professional. He did some troubleshooting, executed the solution & just like that my latrines are back in business.

The technicians approach was the customer service guarantee. He explained and detailed his processes and execute the removal and replacement of my water heater. He also explained that I would need a regulator for the water flow coming into my home from the street. The water when he arrived was like a water fall and he turned it off promptly. I would recommend him and the Services from a Roto-Rooter to any of my Veteran buddies. Thanks for fixing my major leak.

Very disappointed. Called Roto Rooter for a shower clog - which was fixed, however, the technician caused a shower leak in the basement below resulting from the work completed. We have attempted to schedule another repair person to fix the resulting damage, but Roto Rooter has now missed the repair appointment window four times in a row. Do not recommend.

I had a service rep come to inspect a leaky toilet.... he took one look said it will cost $538 and he needed to replace the whole apparatuses. When I pointed to what I thought the issue was he offered to do it for $200. felt very sleazy...I went to ace bought the part i needed for $9.99... I had the toilet fixed in less than 15 minutes. I will not be using this service again. It is an absolute con job and I did not appreciate it at all.

I had a plumber come out to look at my garbage disposal. It was not working and water was not draining on that side of the sink. The plumber was nice and knowledgeable and was able to determine the garbage disposal is in working condition, however, the power switch does not work. He suggested using a extension cord to use it. He also helped by unclogging the sink. While I am happy with the plumber who assisted, I believe $395 dollars for this service is absurd considering it took less than an hour. If you have a clogged sink, I would suggest you call a local plumber. UPDATE: The manager called to rectify the situation by providing a partial refund and providing information regarding their pricing. Will be a repeat customer in the future!

Sewage/drain had collapsed due to age and tree roots. Roto Rooter did a great job quickly.

We had a pipe break and were getting the run around from our current plumbing company which proved not to be very reliable. We called Roto-Rooter and Angel showed up ready to take care of us. If I could give zero stars I would. I called the number this morning and was given a time between 12-4 that someone would come to my home for my water heater. I received a ticket number with the date and time of the visit in my email shortly after I hung up. I received a phone call, which I missed so a voicemail was left, stating the technician was running late. I called the number back to get an approximate time they would arrive and was told I would get a call back soon. I waited another hour and called the main number. I was then transferred to dispatch where the lady on the phone told me my appointment was scheduled in two days and no one had called me. I shared that I had the message on my phone and a ticket number. She then proceeded to yell at me calling me a liar and that I do not have an appointment for today. I hung up and called back to get someone else and the next person I spoke to told me the same thing. No one ever called me to say that my appointment had been moved. I have NEVER been treated this way and I HIGHLY recommend calling Mr. Plumber! They were much more helpful and followed through with their promise. DO NOT USE this company. They are in need of intense customer support training. Shameful!

I booked an appointment for service. Twice I had to contact them to correct the contact phone number they were using. Most despicably though, they had me wait within a 4 HOUR window, only to call with 4 MINUTES left to say they wanted to reschedule. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said someone would call me back, but they still had not corrected the contact number. Needless to say, my first impression of this company is… they’re giving circus vibes.UPDATE: They promised to send someone out, first thing, the next day. Again, they had me wait through a two hour window only to tell me that someone could not make it for yet another hour. ‘Fool me once…,’ shame on me, I guess, at this point.UPDATE: Weeks later and the shenanigans continue, and the problem still has not been resolved. I’ll save all the gory details, but I have been going through the same cycle of promise to call or show up, yet neither occurs. My money was ultimately refunded (6/24), but good luck to anyone who chooses to call this company.

So far my experience has been fantastic. I what I thought was a small toilet leak that has led to significant repairs, but the Roto-Rooter team has been great to work with. They have kept me informed, shown up on time every time, and even helped with the insurance claims process.

Called them to diagnose a slow sink and to replace a broken toilet flange.The filled the sink with water twice, it took 8 minutes. They then told me the sink was not slow, but they needed to charge me $75 for diagnosis. I refused to pay it.They then looked at the the toilet flange and said it would take about 1 hour to do, but that the charge would be $600.So basically, you call and they say no charge to take a look then they come out and start the gouging. Look elsewhere.

Hired them to snake a drain. Not only did they break the pipe in my wall so now there is water leaking in my walls the drain is still clouded. Instead of fixing it since they broke it they wanted to charge me over $3500 to fix it

Wonderful service. I called them on a Tuesday afternoon and they said that they could have someone at my house within two hours and that they'd give me a half hour notification before they arrive. Less than 2 hours later, I am greeted by Ray. Ray has excellent customer service skills, is educated and technically savvy in the plumbing and drain world, as well as an educator. Not only did he fix my toilet in less than a 10 minutes, but he also informed me on how to further mitigate these problems. Kind, smart and a pro at what he does, I definitely would call Roto-Rooter again and would trust Ray with any of my plumbing and drain services.

Technician Christian was highly knowledgeable and skillful. He went above and beyond not just with the garbage disposal install. He removed and cleaned the pipes from dishwasher too. His patience and his workmanship was great

I don't know if the value was on par with the service provided. But, I was shown the cost sheets which detailed the price for each service. That info was absolutely useful to easing my anxiety. And, the repairman (Kamal) was very professional and explained what was needed and why it was needed. The bill was more than I expected, but the repairs were necessary. I would definitely use Roto-Rooter again. Kamal was fantastic!

Dustin came to fix our toilet and really went above and beyond. Was completely honest with how much it was going to be, and got the job done in no time. Would definitely recommend!

I called Roto-Rooter because of a clogged kitchen sink. They sent a technician out the next day. He looked at the sink for all of 10 seconds and said it would be $400 to snake the drain. I declined the service and the technician was in and out of my place in less than a minute. I then called Roto-Rooter about the exorbitant quote and they said they didn’t even know the name of the person assigned to my service call and they could not locate who it was. That alone was a huge red flag. Who exactly did they send out? Was it even one of their employees? I would not advise using this company at all.

Amazing company. We have never experienced such service. We didn't expect the broken concrete and shrubbery to be Roto-rooter's responsibility, but they didn't hesitate. The interior tear out debris went out a window rather than through the house. The disaster inside the house and in the yard has been so much easier to tolerate because of Roto-rooter's competent, considerate and rapid response. Much of the anxiety and uncertainty has been eliminated.

Water heater was leaking. Ryan came in knowing the problem right away. He came prepared to do the job. All the parts to fix the leak was on the truck. I like the idea that I did't have to wait for the parts. And on top of all of that the price was rereasonable. There was no shucking and jiving and no price gouging. I know because I pull the parts price up on google and it was a fair comparison. JOB WELL DONE RYAN. THAT'S WHY YOU GETS 5 STARS.

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS, I WOULD. My mother wrote a review a couple of days ago on this company. The manager called and said that he would take care of everything including refunding us our money. Where do I start? First of all, we were charged almost $300 for nothing. The guy did not fix the problem. Before our tub was just backed up but ever since he left, the toilet is backed up also. Second, he made racist comments about Asians. Yes, I am Asian. In my household, we do have dogs. HE asked me if we were raising the dogs so that we could eat them. Wow. Very Professional Roto Rooters. Third, he left for an hour just to go to the store to buy tools. The manager did contact us and told us that he would issue a refund and would take care of the racist comment situation and get back to us. However, there have been no response and no refund. HE said we would receive it within 2-3 business days and it has been well over a week. DO NOT HIRE THIS PLUMBING SERVICE. ROTO ROOTERS WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND WILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND WILL STILL CHARGE YOU FOR SERVICE.

Robert (1017) was very helpful, courtesy, friendly and completed the necessary work in a very quick fashion. My entire experience with Roto Rooter starting with dispatch was excellent. I highly recommend for other to use them and hopefully you will be able to have Robert take care of your service.

They came to replace our water pressure reducing valve (PRV). Service was good, on time, and at an OK price. Honestly I didn't get other estimates because I needed the work to be done, but I felt that the rates were fair. These are licensed plumbers people, the work's not cheap! I would call them again.

Lun did a great job of unclogging the drain and helping me understand the process every step of the way.

Roto-Rooter provides great friendly service. The technician came within the quoted time and was very professional. He fixed the valves under my sink and replaced my shower head and didn’t take much time. I will definitely use their services again!
