Fantastic service for a very reasonable price had to have work done at the last second at my house and they're able to squeeze me in. Not only that but after fixing my initial issue they took care of another one I forgot to mention and found out I had a bad coupling at the end of my pipe. Got a pipe repair and 2 pipe cleanings done in about 2 hours. Fast and quality work. Will definitely be using them again

Had a toilet that I couldn't get the bolts loose and it was running constantly. The plumber came on time and was great about identifying why the toilet was running. Replaced the apparatus in the tank and got it all fixed and ready in no time. Great job! I'll call them again.

Replaced my hot water heater (and all the other things needed when the old one wanted to develop a rust hole and become a fountain). Did it efficiently and quickly, very professional. Used them again to change out bathroom faucets and will be using them when I get ready to do the other bathrooms.

A&L were recommended to me by a neighbor years ago and I used them for labor intensive outdoor job tracking down clog and installing new clean out and drainage pipe in yard. Professional and reasonable. Recommended in turn to several friends and neighbors.

They installed a new HVAC in 2018 and did an adequate job. Today they came out to diagnose an issue with the air handler blower motor not running properly. It was still under warranty according to the quote I signed which had a five-year parts warranty on the inside air handler and ten-years on the outside condenser. The technician was very professional and friendly. He determined the capacitor for the blower motor was weak and needed to be replaced. He quoted a warranty replacement price of $226, which was for labor basically. The capacitor itself probably costs around $15 so they are charging over $200 for five minutes' worth of labor to unplug the old capacitor and plug a new one back in. That's in addition to the $89 service call, which he said covers testing of the unit, although he admitted it wouldn't be worth testing the outside condenser and refrigerant levels since the fan was not operating properly on the inside. I understand they are in business to make money but charging such an outrageous price for a simple repair for a customer who has spent money with them on a new system before is unacceptable. I will know who NOT to call for any future HVAC business and I recommend you stay away from them as well.

Modern Plumbing has been to my house twice, both times the plumber (happened to be the same guy) was very professional and explained what he was doing. Also he was very neat - he made sure when he left, he cleaned up after himself. Both times I was able to schedule my appointments fairly quick. The plumber took care of my concerns as I would have expected (installed 2 new sinks/plumbing and fixed a leak under my kitchen sink).
