First off, if you are considering doing any floor removal, whether your home is furnished or not you need to consider using these guys. My job consisted of 1050 sq foot of ceramic tile coming out and I had the whole house empty.
Nick is extremely attentive, responsive, professional and just downright fun to work with. You can sense of pride in his work just from a simple conversation. Initially I held off on my job for about 6 months or more after speaking with him due to budget and timing issues and he remembered details from our first conversation and we picked up right where we left off.
He was very detailed in explaining how the process worked, even down to the contract, very easy to read and understand. Anything that might be an extra charge is easy spelled out for you.
I was waiting for my good experience to die down maybe when the work started. However come the day of removal, James and his crew showed up not only on time but early. Just before 7 am all ready to go. James was extremely courteous and helpful. The team got right to work. Funny thing is, my tile installer came to check out the work during the removal and said the tile won’t be completely done until the next day.. however James and his crew finished by 2 PM that very same day.
Also side note, Nick was readily available during the title removal, so any last minute changes, questions or concerns I had were taken care of immediately. Very helpful.
Final presentation. SUPER clean, fresh and ready for tile install. The house was not dirty, you could go In the same day and nothing was dusty or dirty. Great way to preserve your furniture, appliances and HVAC especially.
I highly recommend this company. I would 100% use them again and again when the time comes. It is definitely more expensive than the traditional tile removal but I’ve learned In life you get what you pay for and they are worth the extra. Thanks team

Great people. I had a flooring question/situation. They steered me in the right direction even though I was doing it myself . Kind and honest upfront .

All Rite Flooring was the sub contractor on a restoration project for my bathroom. While there were some issues with the work, Michael made sure everything was addressed and corrected with no hassle. Pleased with the work done and how great he was to work with.

My Residential flooring contractor was very meticulous and made sure the job was done correctly. He took the time to ensure that the floor was level and properly fitted, and that all the edges were flawless. I'm quite happy with the outcome because the final product was exactly what I desired.

We called Sun Valley Floor Specialists to complete a concrete overlay but they tackled a number of additional jobs including kitchen/bathroom demo, shower tiling, drywall repair/design. Edgar has coordinated 6+ months of various projects for us and always stands behind his team's work. Good people, recommend for more than floors if you want a single vendor you can trust.

Ken Fuchs and crew were fantastic! Ken is super nice and his prices are amazing. Ken brought quite a few samples to choose from so we can match it up with our furniture!! We had carpet removed and porcelain wood tile installed. His crew worked so hard. Found out they also do bath remodeling. We will definitely call Ken when we get $$ available to redo our out of date master shower!

We had a wonderful experience with Shop Save & Floor. The estimate and service was provided by experts, who had a good reputation in Mesa. They were all-around excellent. The team members were very responsive and communicative. They always provided us with the information we needed to make our decision on the flooring material that we wanted to install on our property. The installation process went smoothly and efficiently as well!

I used Desert Coatings (DC) to do painted concrete flooring throughout our house back in August or September of 2017. The flooring consisted of a total of approximately 1,700 square feet of flooring. The house that this work was done at was a vacation house at the time, so I wasn’t there to supervise the work when it was done. Other work was being done at the house by another contractor at the same time. Overall, the final finished floor was okay, but there were some things I wasn’t happy about.
During their install process I received a call from my general contractor that the flooring installers had gotten cement material all over the newly painted doors and baseboards. I called DC and they gave me a $700 credit to have the doors and baseboards fixed and repainted. After the flooring job was done, I came out to the house and discovered that the workers had spilled concrete in various spots on my newly painted patio cool deck. I was able to power wash some of it away, but some still remains to this day.
In a bedroom some tile had to be removed and DC had to use a self-leveling concrete to even out the floor, as well as raise a portion to make it level with the rest of the room. When I was able to come out and look at the flooring, I noticed that this area was very wavy and had bumps in some spots. I called DC and they came out and applied another coat, which improved it, but the finish still wasn’t smooth flat in the end.
In the living room they had to fill the entire room with about 2-3 inches of concrete to fill the void left by removing the existing wood underlayment that was previously used to build up the floor. Where this new poured concrete met the existing concrete, a crack developed about 6-12 months later, which caused the paint to chip away. There were a couple other cracks that developed too. I called DC and they sent someone out to fix it. The repair consisted of them applying more paint over the cracked area. The repair ended up not being flush with the rest of the finish, and the color did not match the rest of the flooring. This crack is in a prominently noticeable area of the house too.
Fast forward to 2020-2021, the crack reappeared and the paint began to crack and chip away again. I didn’t call DC right away because I still was not living in the house full time yet. After moving in full time, the chipping away became worse from walking over the area. I called DC twice in August 2022 (8/25 & 8/29), both times reaching an answering service. They said they would pass the message along and someone would call me by the next day. No one called me back. After the second call I decided to start emailing them (9/1/22). The first email response I got was that Tom Allen (the owner) was out of state that week, so I waited about two weeks and emailed them again (9/14). I received an email back (9/16) stating that they were on vacation and would call me back when they returned. I waited a month and did not receive a response, so I emailed again (10/17/22) and received no response. I emailed a final time (10/27/22) and again no response.
In addition to the above there are a few spots here and there that I wasn’t happy with – under the kitchen island (uneven finish and sheen), a few wavy uneven spots here and there throughout the house. I didn’t write a review at the time, because I just figured I’d live with it as is, but now that I can’t get a response from them, or have them come out to do the repair, I’m writing a response now.
I do not recommend and would not use Desert Coatings again (I felt this way before the lack of response, but even more so now), especially if you’re looking for a high-end finish. I have since read other reviews where they do not respond to follow up calls for repairs when needed.

HORRIBLE, AWFUL, DEPLORABLE contractor. I would give 0 stars if I could. Stay away. I used Juan Duran and JR (Raul) Salcedo of DUMAC, LLC to do a large remodel project. They started out strong but things quickly went sideways. JR is rude, hostile, unprofessional, verbally abusive, and has a violent temper. He is unlicensed but uses Juan's license to do jobs. They took 7 months on a project that they guaranteed would be completed in 3, and still didn't finish. They used the cheapest labor workers imaginable, and many items did not meet minimum contractor standards and had to be corrected or redone. When I would point out sub par quality work, JR would curse me out and tell me I was too picky and needed therapy. After numerous confrontations like this I told JR I would not deal with him any more and went directly to Juan, who is actually licensed. Juan met me at the property, looked at the low quality work and unfinished items, and informed me that they wanted more money to finish. I threatened to file a complaint but Juan deviously explained that the ROC would not do anything, since it was only a few thousand dollars in dispute. (He is right, the ROC is worthless). Juan suggested that we call it even and part ways. I explained that I would be losing 3-5k if I do that since I had already paid for the remaining work, and Juan looked me in the eye and said better a bad deal than a good fight. I agreed to part ways as I didn't want to waste any more time and was willing to cut my losses to never have to speak to either of these unprofessional again. I have one of my other contractors finishing up the job now, and fixing everything that these idiots screwed up in my property. Do your research, do not use either of these guys.
