Starting with the estimate process, Chris at Lonestar was transparent in setting up what we could expect from the company from pricing to quality to timing. What I liked most was that he stuck to just what we wanted and only suggested upgrades to specific items when there was a meaningful value add to our project. Because of this, of the 3 estimates we got, it was both the lowest price and best value for what we were looking to accomplish.

There was a short time where we felt a lack of communication between when we paid our scheduling deposit and actually getting on the schedule. The reality is, there's no perfect way to predict when one job ends and the next begins and once we expressed concern over the lack of communication, they were quick to keep us up to date on when our project would start.

The end result is really phenomenal for what we paid. The minor adjustments we asked for after the work was done were taken care of within a day. We got more done for less money than another local landscaper had already done in our yard, and we will certainly reach out to Lone Star first when it's time to do more work.

*Read the contract. Pay attention to the terms they are weighted to MasterAZscapes they have the right to cancel, you (the buyer) cannot without paying a penalty. They will take your Deposit!
*DO NOT GIVE THEM A DOWN-PAYMENT this is not required by others contractors it traps you in!
If you cancel because they do not perform they will take you deposit with no conscience. This charge will happen even if they provide NO drawings, NO product, due NOT return your calls when promised and break commitments.

I was looking for a landscaping company to due some simple, yet effective monthly maintenance on my property and I am glad that the universe put me in this direction. Nathan has been a great communicator throughout this process and his crew always delivers exceptional results. Since having them do our yard, my wife has informed me that I’m no longer allowed to mow the yard myself. Thanks again, Divine Design team!!

P.s.- When I first started using this company, City of Phoenix left me a notice saying my back alley needs to be mowed and weeds need to be removed within a week’s time. I reached out to Nathan asking if it was feasible with accomplishing it within a week...he reached back out the next day and replied, “We got it handled this morning”...If that isn’t A+ service, I don’t know what is!!

Eddie and his crew done a wonderful job removing a tree that has fell over a few weeks ago.

Unresponsive to calls and emails and has not completed the work and oh by the way charged for it?

We had some low voltage lighting installed in our yard. Big Nick's did a really good job. It wasn't just the installation that went smoothly but they also took the time to explain things to us and keep us informed during the installation. I genuinely loved working with their staff. They were so kind and went out of their way to make things easy for us. I am so happy with the end result. I will be recommending these guys to everyone I know.

Highly recommend! All of the workers were professional and friendly. Landscapers Phoenix company was patient and informative throughout, from the planning stages to the final product. Our new lawn, retaining wall, pavers, and mulching look even better than we imagined!

Excellent experience with Ivan! Honest and explained in detail our watering system, plants and maintenance. Very responsive, professional and honors his commitments which was a big hurdle for me! Highly reommend!

These guys are great! Their estimate was comparable and affordable, their work is clean and high quality, and their employees are very courteous and friendly. Told someone in my neighborhood about them when he asked who did my lawn. Now, he is also a customer. Five stars!

We had this company install pavers 2 feet from our block wall and add rock between the pavers and block wall. We paid $4800! Which I felt was over priced but we were in a time crunch so we agreed to have them do the work. It took three weeks for this to be completed due to lack of communication and although my husband explained exactly what he wanted they still did not understand or take notes. I was not happy with the work they did there is a lot of dirt mixed In with the rock and they didn’t fill in the whole area with rock! I will not use this company again!

Very helpful and friendly to work with. I had a vision of what I was looking for and came up with a plan to make that happen. They stand behind their work. Would recommend it.

Hired Jose for a general yard clean up and he did a good job. A couple of months later I hired him for monthly yard service. My lot is around 3/4 acre and we agreed on general cleanup excluding tree trimming for $175 per visit.

He and his team were punctual and stayed for about an hour which comes out to $58/hr per person. Front and back area looked good after they finished and Jose needed to get paid right then and there. After they left I discovered that the side area of my yard looked untouched and branch clippings that we had agreed to be picked up where left behind.

I texted him and his response was I do it next month. Since I don't want to stare at a pile of debris for an entire month I politely asked him to come back before next month and to complete the job. He agreed and said next week. I didn't hear from him for 5 days and reached out when he would come. His response: I'll come by tomorrow and pick it up, but in the future I will only pick up branched that we cut off. He made it sound like he was doing me a favor by coming back even though it was part of the scope when he quoted me.

Needless to say he didn't show up when he promised he would. I then proceeded to call him to see when he would come back and he just hung up the phone on me. At almost $60/hr per person I expect better service!

Hire him at your own risk. He is a charming guy and fooled me.

Also keep in mind of all the 5 star reviews he is one of the reviewers himself: Jose Rodriguez. The rest are probably friends and family.

Very interesting. If you look up their reviews on Yelp, angie's list, etc. the scores are very low. Here they are moderately high. No fooling. One of the raters has the last name of Pope and that is the owner's last name.

This company is all about money. They came up with a fuel surcharge when gas was $3.50 a gallon. It is now $2.25 a gallon but the surcharge stays. It was $60 on my last bill. Not the entire bill. That's the surcharge only. Sign up with these guys if you want to part with your money fast. They are always trying to sell you services you don't want or need.

Their guys literally don't know how to recognize a weed. I pay a pro to do weed spraying 1-2 times a year, but pop-ups occur throughout the year. They will mow the lawn, weeds and all. They never remove the weed or treat it. They just treat it like the rest of the lawn. You get it removed only if you take photos and send these to them and then are present to remind the guys when they come out. A lot of work for the customer. They supposedly have an inspector but I've never seen the guy and the only time I ever heard from him is when he is selling more services.

I do not want them to touch my irrigation system but they go in there anyway. The last 2 times they left the Run switch in the off position. One of these times we had nearly 120 degree heat and my water was off for 2 weeks and I didn't know it because I am the only person who goes in there and I didn't suspect they went in there. This cost me several plants. When I complained to the owner he said I have a bad irrigation system but offered to fix it for $500. No, I don't have a bad irrigation system, I have bad landscapers. I should say former landscapers.

Did the job he quoted for the price he quoted. On time and tidy. ?

Don't expect them to do everything they charge you for. Skipped 3 out if 11 items.

They do not return calls and hang up on you when they realize you are not a new customer.

Edit: After 6 weeks of calling they finally picked up and sent someone to finish the work. At this point I had already done 2 of the 3 items that were ignored the first time around.
