Best Residential Maintenance in Phoenix AZ

Lone Star just wrapped up my front yard landscaping project a few days ago. My wife and I are very pleased with it!

I met with Chris and could tell right away that he had a lot of knowledge. He was good at listening to my nebulous ideas and then helping to ground them to produce realistic solutions. I wanted to modernize and 'green up' my yard. Realistically a redwood forest type of yard just isn't feasible in Phoenix, so Chris helped select a layout and plants that will be able to handle Arizona summers but also aren't just your standard cactus and palo verde trees.

The project was completed in only a few days. The crew seemed to be hardworking and effective. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves when they left. Jamie kept me updated as things progressed (since I was at work most of the time).

During the final walk-through Chris took the time to answer all of my questions and explain things thoroughly. He noticed a cap had been left off one of the wires and said he'd be back first thing the next morning to fix it. This is something I probably wouldn't have spotted on my own so I appreciated it. After he left I realized that the irrigation controller for the front yard was just a few feet from my backyard lawn sprinkler valves (which had been controlled from the garage on the other side of the house). I shot Jamie/Chris a message asking if there is anyway I could just connect the lawn valves to the new irrigation controller. Chris said that of course they could do this. Even though this wasn't part of the original plan and was some extra work for them they took care of it. I was already very happy with these guys and this just set it over the top.

I 100% recommend Lone Star for your landscaping needs! They are easy to talk to, professional, and very knowledgeable about how to create a fabulous looking yard. Looking forward to seeing how it will look in a year once the plants have had a chance to grow a bit!

Straightline did a magnificent job on our landscape project. Holly's design work was exceptional and showed that she has a very good eye for colors, design, etc. Every aspect was done very well, from the cooking area and pavers to the plants and stone. Not only did they submit the design that we liked the best, but they had the best price too. I highly recommend them for any project, large or small.

BJ’s is the best around! Great pricing, super easy to get a quote, and exceptional service! My front yard was a disaster before and BJ’s crew came in and made it look incredible. Love the appointment portal, knowing who is going to show up, and their customer service. Would definitely recommend for any landscaping needs!

Masterscapes did an exceptional job in designing our backyard. Troy spent a couple of hours with my wife and I brainstorming ideas for the yard. Once we agreed on the design he turned the project over to Daryl who did an excellent job of managing the work. He kept me informed of every step of the project. The final design was superb. My wife and I could not be happier with all of the expertise that was provided and how the backyard looks.

Not reliable. When I initially setup my consult the time window was sometime on Thursday. I asked them to narrow down to morning or afternoon but then the supervisor only gave me 10 minutes of forewarning when he was heading to my place. It takes me at least 30 minutes to get home from work so I said I wouldn't be there in time. When he asked to go to other appointments and come by later in the afternoon I said okay and drove home from work expecting to meet him. He never called back and he didn't answer when I called him. Thanks for wasting my time.

Sal and his team show up when they say they will, do good work, and charge a fair price. what else can you ask for

We became familiar with Outside Living Concepts when we noticed one of our neighbors having their landscaping being renovated, talked with the neighbor to see if they would recommend OLC (which they did!), which led to us contacting Curt from Outside Living Concepts for a makeover of our front and back yard landscaping and pool area. We were pleased with the entire process, from initial discussions on the scope of the project through handing over the final payment. Curt is highly experienced and a consummate professional, had innovative ideas to present, incorporated our ideas where appropriate, has his own highly skilled team along with the best subcontractors (pool, decking, etc), is very detailed oriented, followed up frequently, and made the overall process stress-free. We are very pleased with the outcome, and receive compliments from all who visit. Highly pleased, and highly recommended!

I've worked with Branko and his team over the last few years to get my yard up to speed. I really appreciated that they were able to work with the situation that I inherited when I bought my house. The place was a mess and they were patient while we got it turned around with my limited budget.

I asked Luis to pretty much re-landscape my parents' backyard. All my parents had in the back was just dirt, weeds, and a citrus tree planted by my grandpa. Luis and his team came in and did an excellent job transforming the backyard to a much more attractive place for our family to hang out. My dad especially loves the putting green that was added... and the little bench between the citrus tree and the putting green is a perfect little shady spot to relax while putting around. Did I mention that Luis and his team was able to get the job done in one day! The timing was perfect! They completed the job before my parents returned home from the hospital. Needless to say it was a great surprise for them. Luis is a great guy with great teams working with him. I would highly recommend Landscaping Authority for your landscaping needs. I look forward to working with them again! The gents at Century West Landscaping are an excellent, fast, efficient and professional collection of well oiled cogs in the machine. These guys clear up your weed problems with ease and keep them gone! Every time Ivan and his crew have come out to my house it looks fantastic, front and back! Seriously I've been recommending CWL to everyone I know. True, honest, and hard work with the results you need.

Descendants Landscaping was so fast and extremely communicative through the entire project. My yard was in bad shape and they installed beautiful artificial turf, rock & even built us a paver patio. They did an incredible Job! All of this was done at the most affordable rate. We love our new front yard!

Hired Jose for a general yard clean up and he did a good job. A couple of months later I hired him for monthly yard service. My lot is around 3/4 acre and we agreed on general cleanup excluding tree trimming for $175 per visit.

He and his team were punctual and stayed for about an hour which comes out to $58/hr per person. Front and back area looked good after they finished and Jose needed to get paid right then and there. After they left I discovered that the side area of my yard looked untouched and branch clippings that we had agreed to be picked up where left behind.

I texted him and his response was I do it next month. Since I don't want to stare at a pile of debris for an entire month I politely asked him to come back before next month and to complete the job. He agreed and said next week. I didn't hear from him for 5 days and reached out when he would come. His response: I'll come by tomorrow and pick it up, but in the future I will only pick up branched that we cut off. He made it sound like he was doing me a favor by coming back even though it was part of the scope when he quoted me.

Needless to say he didn't show up when he promised he would. I then proceeded to call him to see when he would come back and he just hung up the phone on me. At almost $60/hr per person I expect better service!

Hire him at your own risk. He is a charming guy and fooled me.

Victor's Landscaping has been doing our landscaping & maintenance for our homes for 15+ years. They have taken care of small and larger landscaping projects, bi-monthly service, and periodic repairs, etc. I always find the office staff helpful when I call or email. The crews work hard. We are very happy and have recommended Victor's to many friends.

Sergio's guys did a back yard clean up including trimming 3 citrus trees. They showed up on time, made my out-of-control trees look beautiful, left the yard spotless, and even skimmed out the leaves that fell into the pool. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided and wish I had found them a long time ago.

The owner Sam and his whole crew were extremely professional and very thorough! They did a fantastic job on thinning and cutting our Mesquite tree and clean up!!! They were the most reasonable landscaping company that we found! We are so very happy that we found them and that we used them! You will not be sorry, your trees may be, but you will not be! I highly recommend this company! We will be using them yearly to keep up on our tree! Thank you so much Sam and your whole crew!

Brandon and his team were great to work with. He helped us with winter rye planting, back yard clean up, replacing granite, and a new sprinkler system for our back yard. Brandon was easy to work with, a good communicator and we also noted how he respected his workers in how he communicated and assigned tasks to them (he's the boss and a good person). We will definitely be calling him again.
