Best Construction Home in Phoenix AZ

My family lives in one of the historic districts of Phoenix. We had Homework Remodels convert our old garage into a guestroom. The work entailed adding a bathroom, plumbing, electric, storage. Steve and his team did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him for any work.

Jen was our Service Representative and he was very professional and courteous during the course of our Master Bathroom remodel. Recommended!

They were outstanding start to finish. I got multiple quotes and their price was very fair. I immediately trusted them. They communicate very well and did throughout the whole process. They are detail oriented which is important during a kitchen remodel. They got all our work done within the expected timeline. Some companies in this space look to take advantage of home owners but not Phoenix Home Remodeling. They are the best and we will use them again.

Super customer service!! Appreciated the weekly progress reports and pictures. Great communication during the remodeling and very easy to contact with prompt return calls concerning any questions or issues. Work overall was A+, and they stayed within the projected time lines for each phase of the remodel. They were very detail oriented and addressed all our concerns about the finest details of our remodel. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Although my small bathroom project is complete, I will certainly not use HHI again. I see a lot of great reviews here. Perhaps a larger project would get more skilled tradespeople, a more organized superintendent, and/or better attention to detail.

Pros:
1. The Holtzman team finished the job.
2. The project superintendent responded to text messages and sent trades back to fix various issues.

Cons:
1. The project was poorly managed and the online schedule is wholly unreliable. Most of the time, teams would not show up on the scheduled day. I would not get a notification when appointments were cancelled. I was told that this was a “glitch” in the system, but it was never fixed.
2. When teams did show up, they often did not have the supplies they needed. Items ordered through HHI were not brought with them or dropped off at our house beforehand. A team was once sent to install a toilet that was still backordered. Tile guys did not bring tiles with them to make repairs (they assumed we had extras, which we did not).
3. My small bathroom project was estimated to take 8-10 weeks, and took over 6 months to complete. Aside from a few procurement setbacks out of their control, this was largely due to teams not showing up and then making repeated mistakes.
4. Quality of work was mediocre and almost every trade needed to return to fix a mistake or oversight. Some examples: (1) There were multiple grout cracks and cracked tiles after the initial tile job. The team returned and fixed the grout cracks (in process cracking more tile) without fixing some of the already cracked tiles. (2) A drywall repairman did not consider the diameter of the light fixture. The light was installed with gaping holes around it. The guy who returned to “fix” it just caulked around the light while getting caulk all over the fixture base. Afterwards, the fixture was missing 2 of the 3 screws. (3) A carpenter installed baseboard trim with obvious chips and did not install door casing. A carpenter returned to finish/fix the job and purchased baseboard trim to go around the door casing (thankfully I noticed before he started). Both trim types were clearly indicated on the design spec sheet.
5. The team damaged the pre-fabricated vanity by leaving scratches in the marble top and multiple chips in the vanity paint (it looked like someone hit it with a step stool a couple of times).

Exceptional service from Paul and the team over at Neoteric Builders! They were responsive, professional, and got the job done in a timely manner. Everything they installed was high quality and it looks beautiful. 10/10 recommend!

Jess in the showroom was great, he helped us design our bathroom and gave us the timeline for install (which was exactly what he said it would be!)
Cameron did the install and was extremely helpful with my needs and was very professional. Each of the days set up (one day demo and drop off) next day Install, following day countertop measure was EXACTLY how they said it would be and they called the week prior to go over timelines. Excellent company to work with from start to finish and I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Dishonest, estimates and final costs changed several times, plan on no changes or owner gets uptight and upset . Customer is on owners schedule when he wants to do your order and installs. Wants a large amount of money upfront (70%). Cashes customers checks BEFORE ordering cabinets (took months to place our order). Customer had to reschedule other workers due to Trinity’s delays. Cabinets installed but never adjusted. No customer satisfaction phone calls to ensure customer is happy. Highly recommend using another more professional business with higher ethics. Very torturous working with Trinity! We recommended 4 other neighbors to a more reputable company for remodel.

We needed our master bathroom remodeled and contacted a few companies that said they were too busy or just never called back. Had a few other quotes too but Good Guys came through with what we really wanted and very easy to work with. One stop shop. Amber - Design Team came out and took the time to listen to our thoughts and gave her ideas too. We went to the showroom and she had the design displayed on a screen in 3-D. She also had samples of tile, cabinets, granite etc. already laid out when we arrived. We went with her suggestions. Good Guys worked within our budget as well. We received a breakdown of the costs and they use a website called BuilderTrend that keeps you up-to-date on what they were going to do each day. Project Manager came every day to make sure everything was going as planned. Communication was great - if we had a question or concerned, we received an answer within 24 hours. Good Guys finished the project in less time than the original end date as well. Would definitely recommend.

Veny is a very nice guy, he is very professional and everything is done perfectly. He did my kitchen and it was all perfectly done no flaws. This is the company to go! Plus he gives free estimates.

Diamond Granite was professional at every step of the kitchen remodel. Their communication was excellent at all times. There were no surprises. Their product selection was of good quality. There were no shortcuts. Each tradesman was proficient in his abilities, courteous and willing to adjust to our needs. When leaving the job site each day the workers cleaned up and stored the material out of the way. We highly recommend them. Thanks, Ben, for your thoroughness every day.

They had been recommended by Silver City Restorations and I couldn’t be any happier with the results. The shower looks great and they did exactly how I wanted to be setup and it really does looks amazing. Definitely telling all my friends about them.

After Ben did a fantastic job remodeling our daughter's kitchen, we hired him to remodel our kitchen and great room. This project involved removing a fireplace as well as some walls, and replacing floor tile throughout. Ben was easy to work with and highly dependable. He coordinated with our kitchen designer and communicated with us every step of the way. We were very pleased with Ben and hope to hire him again in the future.

Vincent and Sabastian came out to install our cabinets and they were so polite, respectful and true perfectionists. They worked so hard and answered every question and concern. We cannot find even one small complaint with the install...it is perfect.
