These guys are really the greatest! They provided us with our dream bathroom and made the whole renovation experience, pleasant. They cleaned after themselves everyday and were friendly with our two little dogs. Would recommend to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Phoenix Home Remodeling recently remodeled my kitchen and master bath. Jeremy, Ben, and Mark are incredibly professional! We chose designer cabinets which take a bit longer, and the results are incredible and very high quality! Both the kitchen and master bath and many other projects they completed throughout my entire home are perfect and exactly how I dreamed they would turn out! Several friends and family have been to my newly remodeled home and they can’t get over how amazing it looks! The quality of the work is beyond my expectations! Started the process in Feb 2022. I was told it would take about 3 months for materials to begin construction. 3-4 days for full remodel. Work began end of May. After demo began I was informed that one of my wall pieces was badly stretched. It was the last piece to arrives, so 3 more months to replace it. I had to make last minute alterations to what was in stock vs. What I ordered. The crew brought the wrong pieces the following day so 2 days now wasted. I had a small shower and large garden tub. Was removing tub for mew walk in shower, and existing shower to become open shelf storage. I also paid extra to replace my counter and sinks on vanity. The first crew was very unprofessional and refused to do any work that was not the shower. After 3 days they left and I waited 2 days for a new crew to finish. Showing up between 10-11am and staying until 7-9 pm over a holiday weekend. Yes I wanted it done, but really? So now 7 days in I was told the glass guys would come verify measurements. They showed up late so I had to have a friend meet them. 2-3 wks I was told for glass. It ended up being 14 weeks. Then on install they had to reschedule because someone called in. 2nd attempt they were short trim, and had to reschedule again. 3rd time now 16 weeks we finally are finished. Feb to Sep to get this done. I wrote to my contact about how disappointed I was in their professionalism and lack of communication. I have never received a reply. Customer service is NOT something this company cares about. My end product was not what I ordered, but it is a nice change from what I had. That is the only thing that was positive about my remodel.

North Phoenix Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling Team was beyond amazing, they helped us install some pretty tricky pieces successfully, they also painted and smoothed a wall. Great services.

Steve came to my house. Nice guy. I told him the work I wanted done. Reface fireplace, tear down a wall, new flooring and baseboards. My estimates were coming in from $25 to $35k. Steve didn't blink an eye, said his bid would be double. There will be a cold day in you know where that I pay up to $70k for this job on a 1650 square foot house!!! I don't like rip off artists!

Working with Don Hughes (owner) & Mike (did all the work) was a great experience. Don was so easy to work with offering great advise regarding tile for both the hall bathroom and kitchen as well as paint colors. Mike was just amazing doing all the work: tile around the bath, removing the large mirrors in both bathrooms and installing mirrors we chose, replacing cabinets in both bathrooms, removing existing medicine cabinets and closing up the walls, painting and backsplash tile in the kitchen.

This was a great experience working with both Don & Mike. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I contracted with Maxum to be the General Contractor for a total remodel of our recently purchased 2,750 sq. ft. home. A 75 day project is currently at 112 days. The end date is at least another 20 days away.
Every week there is a change in supervisors, laborers and sub-contractors. There is absolutely zero consistency in project progress. My wife and I have often acted as GC with workers looking towards us to provide direction.
As cheap as possible seems to be Maxum's mission statement. This has resulted in delays, redos and very intense disagreements as to how to move forward. Maxum has caused extreme anxiety for my wife and I along with unexpected costs for temporary relocation and for day to day living expenses.
The remodel results so far look very nice but only because of our very active role as designers and quality control managers.
This job did not need to be this painful. Maxum provided no concern for our input, promises made or common sense direction. We believe that our job was Maxum's first project based upon their total mismanagement of planning, product procurement, customer relations and day to day supervision and direction of employees and subcontractors.
If I were to start fresh, the contract would be much more specific related to project details and materials. I would also have included penalties for missed progress dates.

We hired Ben from Champion to remodel our newly purchased home. He did a superb job, and was a pleasure to work with. His crew was professional, clean, punctual, and completed the project on schedule. Ben and his crew are true craftsmen, and if your looking for a contractor that doesn't cut any corners and does incredible work you need to hire Ben.

The team at Rise Above Remodeling was hired to replace our countertops and back splash. After completing several renovation projects with other companies and constantly being dissatisfied with the communication before, during and after the project I decided it was time to switch from the low end bidders to a contractor with an above average bid.

Bret was responsive from day one and took pride in ownership in the work his crew of workers and subcontractors completed. Once scheduled the job was completed within 10 days, which is often unheard of anytime a stone counter-top has to be fabricated.

When friends ask what makes a good contractor i will always tell them that it's all about how they react when things are not right. After the job was complete we noticed a defect in the stone. Bret returned immediately to investigate and support the replacement of the quartz counter-top.

If I had to say anything negative about the experience its that the Quartz counter-tops on the market are not what they're advertised to be. After having the Silestone representative in my home I learned their warranty doesn't apply to the homeowner, the product can't withstand the heat of a crockpot or microwave dinner without the risk of permanent damage. Furthermore, the only chemicals / disinfectant that can be used safely on the product is soap and water. Choose a nice granite / marble but stay away from manufactured quartz.
