Ryan cleared out our main sewer line, thought we had fixed our basement flooding. Two weeks later it was backed up again, Ryan came out again, and looks like the backup is fixed now. I really appreciate the guarantee on work, and Ryan was professional the whole time. Highly Recommend.Update! Milo came out and got our AC running like new again. My air conditioner quit working. I called DR. Fix-it around 9:30 am spoke with Phillip the owner and he was able to have Ryan the tech at my house with in an hour.Ryan diagnose the problem and even though eventually the unit will need to be replaced he was able to get it working again until I can decide what to do in the near future.Ryan explained everything to me and reviewed costs for the new unit. He even will credit the money I spent today on the new unit costs.I would recommend this company (and will) to anyone I know who has issues with their AC or furnace.

AAARK has taken good care of us for years. When our furnace went out in January shortly after buying our home, they had a new one installed at a reasonable price before we froze. And when our original air conditioner stopped cooling our home in the middle of a hot summer, they again quickly got us going and cooled down. And once again, on the coldest day in January when the heat stopped working, they came to our rescue right away and educated me on the value of regular maintenance. A little cleaning and we are good to go again. I highly recommend this company. They’re fast, respectful of property and reasonably priced. Thanks for taking good care of us!

Have had several positive interactions with them. The main advantage is they come out fast.. But even someone who works there told us not to use them for big jobs that can wait. Received an estimate that was more than 4x the estimate we had received a year prior from another company..$19k + for a 4-5k job - we compared scopes and there was no significant damage that had occurred after the first scope. This particular worker was a bit shady, asking me if he could see the video of the old scope and after careful consideration, I feared like he was going to take advantage of my lack of experience interpreting such, so I told him I couldn't find it. I clearly told him I wanted to compare them w my wife but he suggested we weren't the professionals here and should defer to him. He also suggested that someone might put something down our sewer cap.. what? Maybe a neighborhood teen in the 80s but unless YOU are considering committing such an atrocious crime, who thinks that? What world do you live in where people worry about these things? It reminded me of my Subaru guy saying that he knew mechanics who would literally sabotage people's cars so they'd come back and pay more; I'm not suggesting he did this to me but it begs the broader question of company practice, no? Other technicians at Applewood have been better but the price wasn't - 7k for a Jackhammer job into our foundation to replace bathroom pipes/fix a sewage back up. Another time $260 to unclog a different backup. But at least they answer the phone and arrive reasonably close to stated time. I guess in 2022 the professional (and political) bars have been set so low that we just are who we are..

UPDATE: We will not be using this company anymore. They seem to be jacking up the cost of repairs, their bids are so much more than others who we end up hiring. For example, Blue Sky replaced a water pump on our Evaporative Cooler a year ago for more than $700. The pump quit working this year and, because we felt ripped off by Blue Sky last year, we had another company replace the pump this year, for $335. They also told us that Blue Sky installed the wrong pump last year, which may be why it failed. We also felt huge pressure last year from the Blue Sky service guy who was trying to get us to just purchase a new EC instead of repairing our current one. We felt like he was taking advantage of us, being seniors.ORIGINAL REVIEW: We have used Blue Sky since they installed our evaporative cooler eight years ago, or so. They have always been prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. We will continue to use them.

I contacted golden west to receive a HVAC estimate for a client of mine. Let me just say this was such a seamless, easy and fluid process. I experienced a friendly morning call/reminder, followed by a punctual arrival of my technician Carlos, Instantly I was impressed by his attention to detail, thorough work and his ability to explain the steps in a way that I am now more knowledgeable and will have the ability to better explain the procedure of a furnace swap to future clients. Carlos went as far as to give me multiple options (3) and to inspect and give recommendations/ estimates on other outdated components not initially requested. If you are seeing this review, just know I too was not sure about what company’s I could trust and that would provide good service. That all changed thanks to Carlos and the ladies at the office. All I could say is thank you!
