I scheduled an electrician to come to my home four days in advance, they gave me a window of 8:00am-11:00am. I waited around all morning and no one showed up, no phone call. I called at 12:30pm asking where my technician was, they said he took a little longer on his first job than he thought. I don't know how early these guys start their day, but why was I scheduled for possibly 8:00am when this technician had another job before mine that could take several hours? Very poor scheduling. At 2:15pm, still no tech or phone call. I cancelled the appointment and found another electrician. Don't waste your time with these guys - I wasted my entire day waiting for them. Also, if their customer service and scheduling is this bad, I can't imagine how bad their actual electrician work is.

Ron from Brothers Plumbing came out today to fix my boiler heating system. He arrived on time and was able to troubleshoot the problem quickly and made the repair in a short amount of time. I appreciated his professional attitude and expertise in getting my heat back on again! I had a very pleasant first experience with Brothers and plan to call them if I have need for their services again.

So this is a unique review of the business. Most businesses it's about how have they served me and my needs. But this review is different. Im going to answer how have they served others. They partner with a special needs non profit called allstars club and truly are passionate about giving back to the community. They have donated time money and love to this organization to help those with different abilities than others. I really love how this company doesn't just focus on how can we make money instead they use their position in the community to spread awareness and give back. Next time your wondering should I call x y z company for my needs. Think of Dr. FIX IT because by supporting them your supporting the special needs community of denver and you can rely on this company to be trustworthy respectful and understanding. They aren't just trying to make a dime or dollar they are focused on making a difference. Plus the owners absolutely LOVE AMERICA and are some of the proudest Americans I've met. I love a good American business that gives back to the community and truly makes a difference.

T.L.D.R.: Avoid this company like the plague.

I never write bad reviews - in fact this is the first one I've ever written.

I reached out to AAARK because my realtor recommended them and they had decent reviews online. I cannot believe how seemingly incompetent this company is. Whenever their technicians come to my home, my issues get worse.

I first used them to replace my disposal and a few corroded pipes going into my hot water heater. Nothing was wrong with the hot water heater, it worked fine, it was just that the pipes looked somewhat corroded on the outside.

While that was happening, I was in contact with their HVAC specialists because the top floor of my home does not get any heat or AC. Initially, I was told, no problem we'll just upgrade your HVAC with a bigger unit. This happened right before COVID. This seems suspect to me, because the issue is that one vent in our house lets all the cool out and none of the others do. I contacted the HVAC person again after COVID had died down a bit, wondering could this possibly be a duct issue? A different HVAC specialist came by this time and looked around my whole house. This time, they said oh no your ductwork can't handle the upgraded HVAC, we'll need to put booster fans in. I think great, that sounds pretty reasonable. The tech then talks to the supervisor who informs him that despite this, in fact, my ductwork cannot handle the booster fans either and that the only course of action is to replace all the ductwork in my home. I'm slightly taken aback, but ask for a proposal and we can go from there. I receive no proposal. I contact the original HVAC guy again for a proposal. I receive no proposal. I'm literally trying to give these people my money and cannot.

Circling back to the plumbing work, I noticed that immediately after the pipes in the hot water heater were done, we had no hot water pressure. This was irritating, but the initial claim was that all their work was guaranteed up to a year after service. The work was done right before COVID started, so I again waited until COVID died down to restart this process. A new technician comes over because the old on was no longer with them and when I tell the new tech (who I think is a part owner in the company) he looks at me like the other tech never worked there. The new technician tells me he can't figure out what's going on, but it seems like there is a clog in the hot water intake. I'm thinking, ok fix it, your work screwed it up. Nope - I'm told that either we'll have to replace the boiler entirely or we'll need to get the intake fixed at cost. They told me they would take the cost of the original work off of a new boiler. How nice! The technician tells me they will send me a proposal in the morning. I receive no proposal. I'm literally trying to give these people my money and cannot. Wouldn't you know, after this latest technician left, the pilot light wasn't turned back on and now will not turn on, so I'm sitting here without any hot water at all.

Rest assured AAARK, I will not be giving you my money, you don't have to worry about me continuing to try. You've convinced me that my tendency to assume the best or for some reason keep trying despite things getting worse every time someone comes to my home is the wrong approach. What a joke.

We've had Applewood install two humidifiers in our new home, one on each HVAC system. Tyler Blackburn came out both times. He clearly takes pride in his work and is punctual, professional and honest. Applewood is not the last expensive company you can go with but if you choose them, you can rest easy knowing they do great work and take care to respect your home. You get what you pay for and I will continue to call these guys for all of my plumbing, HVAC and electrical needs.

Izzy has been to our home twice since we moved in. He’s been extremely professional, friendly, and so helpful. We recently scheduled a same day appt. and he made sure to see us before he was off work for the day. Izzy took his time and provided quality service. Because of his experience and knowledge, our system is running more efficiently and much quieter. We look forward to continue to work with Izzy for our HVAC needs in the future!

I had Tipping Hat install a utility sink in my garage, which was no small feat given there were no rough ins for plumbing. From the estimate process to the actual work getting done, the whole team was amazing.I want to specifically call out Dan, Austin Y. and Austin P. who came out and the actual work. Everything was tidy and very well done with excellent communication along the way.

Omar Amador, Service Technician for Blue Sky, provided EXCEPTIONAL service in both assessing and fixing my air conditioner and detecting the problem I had with my water heater that if I did not replace it, would cause disaster.First of all, his technical expertise in detecting what still needed to be done for the air conditioner that now enables it to run powerfully and peacefully is far beyond the former company I had come and do that service work.Secondly, Omar amazingly observed several problems I had with the water heater -- that was adjacent to the air conditioner operating system - and then rightly recommended I replace it.Thirdly and finally, he came within a week or two later and replaced the water heater. It was unfortunately for him such a challenge in terms of work to be done (not in any way challenging his expertise!), yet he stayed determined, motivated, persistent and energetic in solving all the problems that the former owner neglected. Throughout, he remained kind and positive that ensured it was PERFECT service.Again, not only is his expertise remarkable, it is also friendliness, his kindness, his positive energy, all the ways he very clearly answered technical questions in understandable fashion, and fully desired to be of help. What I got was EXCEPTIONAL EXPERTISE BY A REMARKABLE HUMAN BEING. You are so fortunate, Blue Sky, to have him on your staff. And, I am SO FORTUNATE in all cases to have him solve such problems for me that I was not previously aware of and now have brought peace to me. Rico recently helped us with a sewage back up in our basement and replaced a section of pipe under the basement floor. Rico and the Golden West staff were very professional and helpful. Rico went out of his way to make sure that my husband and I understood why we needed to do certain things and how they would be done. The team was very neat, showed up on time and did a great job. I would definitely recommend Golden West to friends and family.
