My air conditioner went out on a Sunday. I called Mr.Fix-it that morning. They called back very promptly and said they could be out between 2:00 and 4:00 the next day. Ulises Alfaro, the service tech, arrived at 2:00 and within 30 minutes had my air conditioner repaired. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the service I received from both Dr. Fix-it and Ulises. Bruce from AAARK came to my house to work on the bath tub diverter. He did all he could to fix the existing tub spout, but it was to old and damaged . He and his co-worker Travis were both professional and polite. They stayed beyond 5 pm to get the work done. They were up front with my price options and at no time made me feel as if I was being taken advantage of. I have used this company before for other work and have never had a bad experience.

I recently purchased a new home and of course, the furnace went out on a freezing cold night. I went into the crawl space to try and fix the furnace myself, but that was hopeless. I contacted Frank in the morning and he responded to my home the same day. (an hour actually). After a short while my furnace was running again and supplying heat to the home. He explained to me the age of the furnace, pilot light, wiring, was extremely old (30-40 years) and I will need a new one soon. Even though I needed a quick fix today, I will contact Frank in the future when I am ready to install a new furnace in the home.

We had a boiler failure that turned out to be a very complex job. We were lucky enough to get Alan Snyman, who is by far the most informed, passionate and driven technician one could hope for. Alan went above and beyond identifying all possible issues for our obscure model of tankless water heater / boiler and explained very step of the process, issues and next steps as it became clear that our issue was more complex than we had anticipated. In the end, Alan was able to repair our system over the course of two days at a price that we felt was very fair given the issues he encountered and the time he spend resolving them. Alan clearly values the customer relationship above all else and we will not use anyone but him for boiler work in the future.
