I live in a 1930's Bungalow and needed an electrician to take a look at my aged breaker box and replace some light fixtures. Looking through the phone book, I called two companies only to get the run around when asking about pricing. I called The WireNut, and from start to finish, I experienced nothing but top notch customer service. The agents answered all my questions and when they couldn't I spoke with a real licensed technician. They ended up replacing the entire panel and even helped me get financing. We had our main drain cleared due to a clog. The plumber was here twenty minutes, when historically this job takes closer to an hour plus. Within an hour of him leaving, the main drain was backed up again, worse than ever. Instead of coming to fix their incompetent work they wanted to charge us once again for a second trip. Do the job the right first time and back-up your work. Totally unacceptable, we paid for a service which was not done properly. DO NOT use these guys, what a scam and ripoff

I would give 4.5 stars but apparently that's not an option. We had an electrician come out on Easter Sunday. He fixed our bad breakers. He was efficient and knowledable.

I recently purchased a new home and of course, the furnace went out on a freezing cold night. I went into the crawl space to try and fix the furnace myself, but that was hopeless. I contacted Frank in the morning and he responded to my home the same day. (an hour actually). After a short while my furnace was running again and supplying heat to the home. He explained to me the age of the furnace, pilot light, wiring, was extremely old (30-40 years) and I will need a new one soon. Even though I needed a quick fix today, I will contact Frank in the future when I am ready to install a new furnace in the home.

Kristine was a pleasure to watch do the maintenance on my hvac. Very knowledgeable and was able to give me helpful feedback on heating and cooling of my home. Definitely would use her again.

An INCREDIBLY efficient and responsible company. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Top Shelf. We had a massive job that needed to be done with a complete rip-out and re-install of our Furnace. They also installed AC and upgraded our Electrical Panel. Financing was really easy and helpful and the entire process was painless. after changing ownership all of the sudden they are requiring all sort of paperwork and disclaimers to be signed... not sure what is going on... they used to be pretty good but this past weekend me and my tenant went thru hell to get the service to used to get with no issues... sorry they just lost a loyal customer.

They were on the job quickly and finished our furnace/AC and water heater install in about 8 hours. This was in a small area, so they had to coordinate their work to get it all done that quickly. They were cognizant of keeping the path to our job area as clean as possible and they, every one of them, patiently answered any questions we had. They were courteous and respectful. I called because I thought there was a leak in my water heater. After setting my appointment online, with upmost ease, I received a call the morning of my appointment. Marty came on time, was friendly, professional, and thorough. He went through all of the possibilities it could be, testing water from different sources and watching to see what the pool up could be. He discovered that the water was from the AC unit backed up in the PVC pipe from the drainage pan. He was upfront about the price (quite reasonable and saved me thousands on getting a new furnace and possibly causing an electrical fire that burned my house down). I was shocked at how much water had backed up and how plugged the PVC pipe was, especially because I try to get annual maintenance on the furnace. I will continue to use this company in the future, recommend it to anyone I know who needs help, and turn to them for maintenance on the furnace going forward.

The old hot water heater was producing about a gallon of water a day. They came out right away and since the old one was over 10 years old we did a replacement the next day. Very courteous. Provided options at various price points. Good, quality work.
