Best Repair And Upgrades in Columbus OH

Came out the same day and took care of an electrical issue. I called at 11am to book an appt, and they were there by 12pm and had the issue resolved by 1:15pm.Professional and fair. Will be using them again.

After having a guy come do an estimate, I cannot get anyone to call, text or email back to set up a time to simply answer a question or possibly ever do any repairs. Why take time for an estimate if you don't follow up at all or want work? The job would have been over a thousand, so not just a tiny one outlet not worth the time. Very frustrating when needing work done to have wasted this time trusting they'd follow through. I'd steer clear of this company. There are much more reliable electricians to hire. I am trying very hard to assist my 92 year old father to repair needed items at his home. He thought since this company is directly across the street from his home they'd offer him good and fair service.

EDIT...They say I should be patient due to their scheduling issues due to Covid. I wasn't even trying to get on the schedule. I had one question...one small question needing clarification. We're all slammed due to a crazy past year...I'm totally understanding of that but it's still very easy to offer kind, courteous follow up.
They did an estimate for the wrong item. I think. I asked how much to repair an outside outlet and the estimate shows how much it is to remove it all together. I was curious if it cannot be repaired or it was mistakenly written up as a removal. Their email said if I had any questions to feel free to ask. I did. But now being told I somehow came at them in some dangerous manner?? I sat quietly and chatted with Anthony's assistant while Anthony looked at the items needing repairs. I chatted about the schooling and apprenticing aspect of getting into electrician work and I'm sure both of them can attest to my friendliness versus saying I am dangerous. As for the rude blanket comment about Realtors (who give plenty of business to contractors and most are just nice people doing a job and are also slammed for time like this guy), there's no reason to say this simply because of what I do for a job. This is my dad's home and I'm his daughter. I was at the home as his kid... helping an elderly parent.
I've read the other 1 star reviews for Daniel Hawk, the owner, on BBB, Yelp, Angies List, Google, etc saying this is how many others have been treated as well. I should have read those first. My father saw he lived right across the street, so set this up for his repairs. Now I even saw that he was previously on ABC6onyourside for taking money from clients and not completing work. Yikes. I had no idea of who I was unfortunately dealing with. Its sad scammers are all around us these days.
Bottom line, if you start working with a person by giving them an estimate, you've then engaged them as a customer and owe them a bit of service, if only in the smallest of ways. Just to be honest, courteous and kind is enough. If you're slammed and cannot book until August, just reply with that. Again, why do an estimate if never intend to follow up? I had a single question needing answered by an old man who needed help. He's 92 , an Army vet and deserves to be treated nicer.
To come on here and say you sift through people after meeting them and decide if they are too dangerous to work for? What? Us? After what I read about you...my dad dodged a bullet, not only in the Korean war.

Horrible. Mistake after mistake and its a nightmare communicating with them to schedule electricians to come back and finish/fix the work. Our project has been going on for almost 7 months and nothing else in the remodel can get done due to their mistakes and delays.

Jim is our go-to electrician for our 1922 home. He’s friendly, honest and knowledgeable. We really appreciate his reliability in all senses of the word and would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I hired Confident Electric to rewire my entire house and replace my electric panel during a renovation. I was very happy with Paul's work and communication throughout the entire project. He showed up on time every time and did exactly what he said he would. I highly recommend Paul and Confident electric.

I had Mr. Electric come out two years ago to do diagnostic testing, install a fan, light switches, and fix outlets that were no longer working. I had a terrible experience which included an employee falling through my attic ceiling, making mistakes with the projects, and having to come out multiple times to fix things. They installed outlets to only work when a switch was turned on which was not agreed upon. They were not punctual and between all the visits it took about a month. One of the outlets that Mr. Electric fixed stopped working and I had to have a new company come out to repair the wiring. In addition, the new company made me aware that many things are not up to code, whereas Mr. Electric didn't mention this at all. It was such a negative experience and a waste of money. I am deeply disappointed and now will have to invest even more money into fixing Mr. Electric's mistakes and shortcomings. I wish I had saved my money and never booked Mr. Electric. I would highly discourage anyone from booking with Mr. Electric.

I was in need of an electric panel upgrade, I contacted Big City Electric and a few other electric companies. Big City was the most reasonable. They didnt try to upsale me like the other companies. I was explained in detail what my best options were. Chris was on time and did a wonderful job installing the upgrade! Will use them for all my electrical needs

This company already did 3 jobs in my house and I'm saving for the fourth one . They are professional, friendly, respectfull, clean and always ready to help with something else if it occurred while they are there. I'm not the easiest customer, but they fulfil all my expectations. I will recommend this company to everybody. This picture shows the last job they did for me. Looks awesome.

Daniel responded to my text and showed up shortly after. He diagnosed the issue (that was missed by a previous electrician) within a few minutes, replaced a part, and brought power back to our lives!
He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He talked us through exactly what the problem was and how he would fix it. Couldn't be happier.

I needed a more powerful exhaust fan in a bathroom after installing a steam shower. Alex had to do some retrofitting in the old home. He stuck with it till it was done with great results. Craig selected the fan I needed and we are leased with its power, quiet , motion detector on and humdistat monitoring features. Elite has always come through for me.

I recently hired Just Right Electrical to upgrade the c/b box in my home in preparation for the instillation of a new central a/c unit. The circuit breaker box and all circuit breakers were replaced in a timely and professional manner. During the instillation we discovered that the main power line was corroded. This discovery was a definite safety concern. Upon further investigation it was concluded that the meter box and the corroded line needed to be replaced. Long story short, all electrical problems that were discovered were coordinated with AEP ( power shut down from the pole to the house) and repaired in a timely and professional manner and at a reasonable price. I was satisfied with the work and clean up and would recommend Just Right Electrical to any of my friends and associates that had any electrical needs.

We have used HD Electrical several times, working with James on ceiling fan and other electrical issues. This time James installed a wired video doorbell and helped us get the app set up, then solved some 3-way switch issues for us. VERY knowledgeable and pleasant every time.
