Jim is excellent!!!! He is very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with. He fixed our electrical meter box that was falling off the side of our house. He even contacted the AEP electric company to assist with disconnecting/reconnecting power. Very reasonably priced as well - highly recommend!

It's a real struggle to find good professionals these days. You call the run of the mill companies and they give you insane five figures quotes. You read reviews online and you don't know what's real. I'm so thankful that a coworker recommended Jim. He came, found the problem immediately and fixed it in no time. He charged nowhere near what the large, so called electrical repair company wanted to charge. Jim made a difference for me that day! Thank you Jim!

5 years ago we had Jim do the electrical in our room addition at our previous home, he did a terrific job.

A year ago we moved into our new build home. Although the original electric was done by a company through our builder we realized we needed a couple of outlets added. Called Jim and he put us on his schedule. Today he came out and added 3 outlets. Can;t say enough about the quality and professionalism. He's our go to guy for electric.

I called Jim on a Saturday and he answered and spoke with me about an issue I was having with my garbage disposal outlet. He could have simply told me to make an appointment but he suggested what it could be and asked if I was able to replace the switch. I did this and now everything is working again. James is very personable and efficient. We have had him come twice now. He installed under cabinet lights in the kitchen, extra outlets in the bathrooms, a ceiling light/fan, and an outlet in the basement. We are very pleased with his work and service. Thanks for jobs well done.

Mr. Hartley is efficient, trustworthy, and friendly. He was able to take care of my electrical needs in a very professional manner. He worked quick, but was also considerate and careful. We had very pleasant conversation while he worked. Good guy. His prices are reasonable compared to other electricians. I recommend him and will ask him to come back should I need any electrical issues resolved in the future.

Jim was very professional and friendly. He called me two days before his scheduled visit and said he could come earlier. This was great for me, and my electrical problems were taken care of very promptly. Jim fully deserves his 5-star rating!

Hands down the best experience. Jim responded to my initial call to replace my breaker box very quickly after a voicemail and came out same day to check it out. Gave me a very fair quote a couple of days later and we set the appointment shortly there after. Jim was prompt on the scheduled day and got the job done well. Very professional and did excellent work. Highly recommend to anyone in need of electrical work.

I wish I could give more than five stars. Jim was able to arrive early and fixed three issues in less than an hour. Very polite and professional. Explained everything he was doing very clearly. Very reasonable price for all of the work that he did.

I cannot recommend Jim more highly for any of your electrical needs. He is courteous, pleasant, and provides high quality work. He installed recessed lighting in our kitchen, respecting our home and schedule as he worked. We will definitely have him back to do more work.

My experience with Mr. Hartley was very good. He installed a ceiling light and made a change in the electric panel. He is very personable, knowledgeable and efficient. He went the extra mile by cleaning up the work area and removing the old fixture. I give him 5+ stars.

James literally saved my house and life. I had a major issue and noticed sparks from a small clamp on my siding. I contacted James and he worked me in super quick. The issue could have caused my house to catch on fire. He worked for 3 hours to get it done outside in the cold. I can't say how much I appreciate his quick response and professional job. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Hartley. He is knowledgeable, dependable, efficient, and knows his work so well he can quickly assess any problems that present themselves while he is working and still get the job done in one visit. He does this while instilling trust in the customer that he will do the work appropriately and efficiently. James is great! I described to him over the phone my electrical issues. He clearly and professionally diagnosed the problem was with AEP. Long story short... he was 100% right. Any other company would have had to visit my home and charge a fee.

James is a pro in every sense of the word. He is an honest individual and goes out of his way to ensure that the job is done logically, on budget and effectively. Jim has done many projects in our home in Upper Arlington over the years. Most notably perhaps was installation of our hot tub. We highly recommend James for any residential electric service and we plan to use him this month for some LED conversions and Electric socket updates.

He is very easy to work with and communicates well. He was able to come to my house to help fix outlets quickly and efficiently and didn’t even charge me when it was just a breaker issue that was easily fixed.

I called for a small job (outlet blew & needed to be checked & replaced). Was able to come out & repair the outlet plus check and replace another outlet that was bad. Fast, friendly, efficient & knowledgeable. Will definitely use again!

Very helpful and honest service. I had called for an issue and was given instructions on how to solve it, no charge. A less honest company could have made it house call and made a bigger deal about the problem. But not these guys, they were very straightforward. I would definitely call them again for any future projects.
