Mikey did a wonderful job replacing our old Electric Panel. He was polite, thorough, and professional. We have used Safe Electric before on replacing an old light switch in our house and installing a light and they were great then as well. We will continue to use them in the future and recommend them for the electrical needs of your home. I've added some before and after pictures of the panel they replaced as well.

Ben and Sean were great! Raven and Tara were amazing to talk to on the phone as well! They cleaned up after themselves. They were very knowledgeable. They did everything I asked him to do. The pricing was reasonable and fair! I would recommend this company to anyone!

Due to my work schedule, I have a short window for services to come to my house. On a Sunday night, I submitted a request online for hot tub wiring installation and listed my time restraints. The following Monday, I received a phone call that was very informative.There was an initial fee for the person to come to the house and I was also able to have same day work be performed. Having agreed to the fee, I was able to have a technician out to my house that following Wednesday in the morning.The technician that arrived to my house was Eric D. He was professional, knowledgable, and very friendly. Upon arrival, Eric inspected my electrical panel. He informed me of issues that could be upgraded, but not pressing due to the box being grandfathered in. He also advised that he can help give info on any future projects I may have. One project I asked him about was for a bathroom exhaust fan. We went to my future project, Eric showed me where my neutral wire was buried and then how to finish the wiring using a pigtail.For the hot tub wiring, my existing panel used Class RK5 fuses and had wire that was not in conduit. My panel was replaced and used a circuit breaker. I was given the option to use my existing wire to be installed in the conduit to save money, but the wire would not be under warranty. I went with the new wire to be installed to keep the whole line under the warranty.I would highly recommend use Safe Electric and will definitely not hesitate to call them again.

After being very satisfied with previous electrical work by Ed at Safe Electric, we contacted them again regarding the installation of a 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug in our garage (typically known as an electric dryer plug). We also requested they install an RV electrical box, just like the ones at the campgrounds for our RV that is parked on the side of the garage and to accommodate any RV visitors. Ed provided an estimate and also recommended the installation of a surge protector since our detached garage's electrical comes from buried electrical lines from our home's basement some distance away. The only other surge protector is on the opposite side of the house (at another basement panel). Recently, Ed and Kyle came out, crawled around in the garage's attic space, fished wire through the walls, etc, etc. The installation is VERY clean and professional. We now have the 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug inside the garage between two of the parking spots so it can be used from either spot (wiring is ALL inside the wall). We have a full RV box on the side of the garage. It has a 30 amp/120 volt regular plug, just like the ones in the house, another 30 amp/240 volt dryer plug for small or medium size RV's (or, for an electric vehicle that won't fit in the garage) and the 50 amp/240 volt plug for the BIG RV visitors. Finally, Ed and Kyle added a surge protector in the garage wall, just below the electrical panel. GREAT JOB, Ed and Kyle! Thank you! Looks great and we are already using some of the plugs! Mikey and the other technician were very friendly, completed all the repairs in a timely manner, and walked me through all of the repairs after completion. They did a great job and I will definitely use Safe Electric again if I ever need an electrician again.

The communication was second to none. Our electrician TJ was able to fix things even though it wasn’t exactly an easy job! He was very knowledgeable. Highly highly recommend!New post: We had them back to install new smoke detectives and run electric to out new Swim Spa! They were friendly and knew exactly what to do! They installed a new panel for us and I was thrilled with it being labeled so perfectly!

Now that Caleb and his team finished the job, I can confidently say that we had a great experience with Safe Electric. The customer service has been phenomenal (which goes a long way these days) and their team's skill and ability to explain complex problems to us was wonderful! We had the pleasure of working with Caleb, April, and Kyle and they were all wonderful to work with! I couldn't recommend them more!---------------------------------------------------------------------So far so good! Safe electric was very easy to schedule with. They were responsive and flexible. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and on top of it. The day of our initial service we worked with Caleb. He was on time, professional, easy going, and honest. He laid out everything we needed to know and broke down concepts and numbers for us.We haven't used their services yet, as they will be coming back, but so far so good! I hope the work is as good as the service has been. I will leave an updated review once the work is complete!

Review is based on my experience with getting an estimate to upgrade and replace electrical panel, including a few additional items.The Office was quick to respond with my estimate request, and was very kind and accommodating. Timely scheduling of estimate request was greatly appreciated. The gentleman who came out to go over everything were very respectful, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining what the issues are, as well as going over in detail all options available to proceed with upgrades, and what all to expect, as far as a good estimate of time it will take to complete the job, and the relief and ease that all dealings with the electric company will be taken care of by them. During their time here to work up the estimate, they were also able to resolve an electrical issue that was causing my dishwasher to stop working, so that was an absolute bonus! They were both very pleasant and respectful, and demonstrated good social skills, with a refreshing positive demeanor. Very happy so far with my experience with Safe Electric, and feel confident that the future work/repairs /upgrades scheduled, will be done safety and efficiently.

Safe Electric is AMAZING. We will always use them. The two year warranty on their work is outstanding and 100% honored. We have a very old house built in 1910 with a lot of odd electric issues. Safe Electric is fast to respond, and gives excellent service. They are always professional and always resolve the issue. We are also on a limited budget but they work with us to find the best solution that is cost effective. Today we worked with Ben who responded promptly to our emergency call - he was so helpful, got our issue resolved quickly and it was under warranty so did not cost a penny. He also gave us upgrade estimates to help permanently resolve our old timey farm house electrical work without breaking the bank. Also special appreciation nod for receptionist/scheduler Tara who I’ve talked to a few times there - she’s always very lovely on the phone and gets us a quick response. Love love love this business!

Tom and his co workers were polite and very hard working. They got to the source of the problems and fixed them. They answered all of our questions immediately and were very nice about our continued list of add on services. They explained everything they did along the way and recapped at the end of job each time. They also followed company policies and protocols. They were upfront and honest about cost and safety precautions. The office sent reminders and absolutely knew when the electricians would arrive and Tom called to let us know exactly when they would arrive.The office made scheduling very simple and easy. I would recommend Tom and Safe Electric to anyone.

I now have a go-to electric company and would highly recommend Safe Electric to anyone in need of electrical repairs. Their response to my online request was very quick. Tara asked a few questions and was able to schedule service for the next morning. Adam and Ryan came during their scheduled appointment time window, were able to give me options for the repairs needed and completed the needed repairs the same day. Adam explained things thoroughly and said that he would be the one to come back for any future needs. I could not be more satisfied with my experience with Safe Electric, LLC. I called the company to remove a broken bulb from the socket of a recessed light high above a staircase. Mikey and Joel were polite, clean, conscientious, and respectful. They wore masks, put on shoe covers, laid drop cloths down on my hardwood flooring to prevent damage by the combination ladder, and smoothly and efficiently fixed the issue. Because of their knowledge, resources, care, responsiveness, and professionalism, I would not hesitate to use Safe Electric, LLC again and to recommend them to others. They did everything to make the service safe, comfortable and low stress.

Had service to install two new kitchen lights. The service people were Eric and April and they were great. They really new what they were doing. They did a 10 point safety evaluation and found some things wrong which I am going to schedule them to come back and repair. My house is pretty old and needs some updating and I will definitely have them back to do all the repairs I need to have done. The lights they installed work great and look even better. I really appreciate their attention to detail. It was a pleasure to have them come out today. They also replaced a main breaker which really needed to be done. Thank you Eric and April!

Jack and Chris were wonderful electricians, timely and professional. I’m highly impressed with the quality of work. They also took the time to explain everything to me. Really wonderful service and totally worth the price. We own a 1920s home with plaster walls and everything is just as perfect as it was before the electrical upgrades, don’t even need to fix the plaster. Amazing!

Bryce and Chris arrived promptly at the start of the appointment window. I have two outlets that have not worked properly since the condo next door did some remodeling a couple years ago. Apparently a wire was damaged at that time. This repair requires running a new wire between two outlets. The diagnostic work was efficient and friendly. The rest of the work is scheduled to be completed within the week at my convenience. I'm very satisfied that I chose to call Safe Electric. Bryce was outstanding.

The team of Erik S and April arrived on time ready to work. They worked efficiently to complete the diagnostic. They gave us 3 levels of estimates that ranged from 1) just what we asked for, 2) additional to make us safe, and 3) what would be needed to bring the electrical system up to code (whole house surge protection, dual grounding, arc-fault breakers ) .The options were presented with no sales pitch/pressure. They explained everything and answered our many questions.We chose option 3.Their team dynamic was outstanding. They worked extremely well together. Both were expertly knowledgeable.After the work was completed, they did a thorough review of all work done. They removed all construction scrap including old fixtures and fans, and all debris.They were very respectful of our home, They wore shoe covers to protect our flooring, and were extremely careful manuvering ladders throughout our home.We will definitely be recommending them to family, friends, and neighbors.

From first call to Safe Electric, Tara was very helpful and responsive to our particular needs. Our issue was not really an emergency but they got us scheduled right away and even called to arrange an early arrival to the appointment. Very professional during the visit and sent us a picture of our technician in advance. Rhett and Austin listened well and were very friendly, talked through the issues, made scalable and practical recommendations, got to work right away, and were done quickly. Very satisfied with the process and work. Highly recommend these neighborhood professionals.

Mikey and Joel did a fantastic job installing my recess lighting and light fixtures throughout my home. The following day I had an issue with one of my new fixtures flickering and Mikey and Chris came out same day to look at the issue. It turns out the light bulbs I purchased from light store was not correct type. Their service was top notch and I plan to have them back out for additional electrical work in the near future. 100% percent satisfied with the work done.

The service was very satisfactory. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hrs and they were on time for the service call. Jon and Chris took the time to understand the problem and were able to quickly diagnose the concern. They explained the solutions and all possible ways to execute the solution. They were very clear with the options I had and were not biased towards one over the other, allowing me the time to make the decision that was appropriate for me. I am really happy with this company! They were prompt, friendly, courteous, on time and very, very reasonable. I will definitely use them. Quality work at an affordable price. This is now my 4th time I've used them and they are my go to company for all my electrical work! I've been working on home improvements this year. I've done quite a lot. I've taken a break from major renovations. However, this is the perfect time for me to some much needed small ones: placement of an automatic security light on my garage, replacement of front door and side door lighting fixtures. Now all outside lights come on a dusk and off at dawn. Got rid of an old ugly kitchen ceiling fan and had it replaced with a new trendy modern fixture. Safe Electric has done a great job for me ( four times!)

Erik and April came out within an hour after I called to diagnose an issue that caused a circuit to blow and wouldn’t turn back on. They were very thorough in their diagnosis and were able to found the problem. Not only did they fix the problem they offered suggestions/improvements and explained in detail what my options were and how much each option was and worked with us to do some combination of the options.More impressive they were able to take care of the options we picked right then and there. They were here for hours and did a great job. They were professional, kind and engaged in casual conversation along with answering questions and never once seemed annoyed.While I don’t know much about Safe Electric or if I got a good value for my money I can’t say that Erik and April were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone for electrical work.

Both men were friendly, polite, and prompt and thorough with the work I needed done. Cleaned up afterwards. Answered all my questions. Communication with Safe Electric is phenomenal! Every step of the way, you are kept informed. They do charge more than compared to some others. There is a fee at first to come out. Then you get a quote good for a year. So I would recommend making a big list of dos and wishes. Then repair as you can afford. Overall, very satisfied so far and would recommend them.

We were in need of a new hot tub to be connected to our existing electric. I was astonished at how quickly we were able to be scheduled because most other companies either never called back, or couldn’t come out for for two weeks. Safe Electric was scheduled in less than two days and even had availability to bump an additional day ahead to coordinate with the hot tub delivery. Thomas was great! He's been to my home before to fix some electrical issues and came to do an inspection and some more repairs again. He was very professional, explained everything clearly, he was on time and and took care to leave no mess behind him.I will continue to ask for Thomas next time I use safe electric.

I want to give a shout out to Safe Electric, their technician Eric and Eric's co-workers whose names I do not remember. They came to re-connect my double wall oven and fix installation problems caused by a warranty contractor (because of poor wiring, electrical connectors melted and there could have been a fire if the breakers had not worked).Eric did a great job diagnosing the issue and discovering what was wrong. He needed assistance because removing the oven from the wall was a two person job and the men who helped him came from another job on which they were no longer needed, the first guy to drop off a wire roll that was used to rest the oven on while the electrical work was done and to help remove the oven from the wall. He had to go to another job so a second man came from another job where he was finished to assist with the work and replace the oven when the electrical work was completed. I could not believe how they were able to juggle their schedules to accommodate my repair needs. All three were professional, friendly, informative and competent.The office staff I dealt with were terrific and I called them in the morning and they were able to get me an appointment by early afternoon. I really appreciated the timeliness and quality of the work. I most definitely will be hanging on to their contact information for future electrical needs that might arise.

Wife & I had them come out to troubleshoot a non-starting partial home generator. The electricians were very polite & friendlyHowever, we were shocked to find out that the neither the trip fee ($69) nor the diagnostic fee ($364) would go toward any repairs. Most companies we’ve hired for other services charge no more than $150 total for the trip & diagnostic fee, which also goes towards repairs. We ended up paying over $800 for a new battery ($276 with no info regarding brand, CCAs or warranty) & essentially a tune up (replaced spark plug, oil, oil filter & air filter). Your company needs to be more transparent with customers regarding the diagnostic fee prior to the appointment.Also, it is a given that any reputable company drug tests & runs background checks on its employees or independent contractors before sending them to clients’ houses. And it’s safe to assume that at least one of the electricians sent to customers’ homes is licensed. The company van was not fully stocked after all as it did not have the required battery, requiring more time to complete the job & thus more time out of our schedules. None of these ‘unique’ qualities of Safe Electric justify the exorbitant prices. I’ve never left a bad review on Google before today & don’t like doing this. However, the lack of transparency & upfront pricing is really upsetting.

Zack, and techs, Jack and Reese were professional, pleasant, courteous and worked continuously until the job was done. They brought everything they needed and didn’t have to leave to get something. They cleaned up very well and you couldn’t tell they had been there. He even offered to help carry things into the house when my wife came home from shopping. I highly recommend Safe Electric and Zack for ANY of your electrical needs!

Our Electrician Bryce was courteous, competent and careful to protect carpeted areas throughout his ceiling fan and whole home surge protection installations. He also was thorough and patient with accompanying apprentice, Marcus. Good team. Our home is now safer, brighter & cooler thanks to them.

We called and the next day we had two electricians at our house. They did very thorough inspections, fixed our problem, and gave us estimates for further projects we would like to get done. Rhett and Garrett were super personable, kind guys! They felt very trustworthy to have in our home. I would definitely use them again.

Communication from the main office was EXCELLENT! Timely service—they even waited for me when I was delayed meeting them! Work was completed quickly and efficiently and received quotes for future work but they were not pushy about starting those projects right away. Will definitely be using them again in the future!

Needed a ceiling fan installed in a 2-story great room. They were very thorough, polite, and careful with my TV and furniture. Great service even if a little more expensive than some other quotes that I received.

Tyler was great very informative and took care of what needed to be done. He had an apprentice with him Ryan he did a great job as well. They both respected my home and property as well as my decision on what they presented to me as a solution to my issue.

We had a lightning strike at our house. Safe Electric sent out a team including Zack and Austin right away. The next day Austin and Garrett installed a new panel and did quite a lot of upgrading to our electrical inside and out. They were polite, thorough and professional. They went above and beyond. It is now over a week since they did our repairs and we noticed some lights flickering. I called them this morning and they were at our house in less than two hours! Austin (he is a very nice man) did a thorough inspection of the house and the repairs and realized that the issue was on the outside and it was likely a transformer problem which is an AEP issue. He called AEP and explained the issue to them and scheduled them to come out and make the repairs. How many firms would take the time to do that! This company is top notch. Austin is great. Eric and Garrett were an all-star pro team. They diagnosed the issue, and found some other potential safety issues. They presented the options available professionally and thoroughly explained what we should expect. They completed the work quickly and ensured I was able to keep working while they made the repairs. We had Adam and Garrett perform some work around the house - they were able to diagnose some problem with our outside circuit, and then installed a Tesla charger and new outlet in our master bathroom. You couldn't even tell that their new installs weren't a part of the original build of the house. Excellent quality of work from two outstanding professionals. They are now my go-to for any future electrical work.

Had one small project I needed done, and questions about some other, larger projects. Bryce provided quotes on each item separately and we were able to choose what we wanted to have him do now and what could wait until later. He completed an inspection and pointed out a couple of things that would need attention. It's an older house so we're aware that it's not entirely up to current code standards. Thanks to the information Bryce provided, we are able to make a plan to take care of those larger issues and get the smaller project done in one visit.

Rhett and Reece were on-time, very professional and respectful when they arrived, they explained the cost breakdown and what they'd be doing for the diagnostic prior to getting started. They found the issue, fixed it and tried to recreate the issue to ensure it didn't happen again. We're very satisfied and would recommend Safe Electric!

Erik and his associate were really great! They were patient in answering all my questions and very up front about what needed to be done and the associated cost.They spent a great deal of time working to fix our issues and always had a great attitude about getting the job done right and making sure we were happy. They even made sure to go the extra mile and clean everything before they left. I am very pleased with the work they did in our home!!

I had three outdoor lights replaced and a new outlet installed in my basement and decided to go with Safe Electric after I received a quote from them. Eric was the lead technician who did the original quote and then came back to do the work with the help of an additional electrician (unfortunately I don't remember his name). Both Eric and the second electrician were great - both very friendly and efficient. Eric explained the work that they did and made sure I didn't have any outstanding questions before they left. I would highly suggest Safe Electric if you are looking for electrician services!

I had an electrical emergency, (flooded electrical panel) Safe Electric dispatched Caleb and he arrived within an hour of my call. Caleb stayed to restore power to my home until 12:30pm! He did an amazing job helping me through a very stressful situation. Highly recommend!

The guys came out to give me an estimate on how much it would be to run electrical service to my shed. They were friendly, professional, answered my questions and were not pushy. I haven’t hired them yet as I need to schedule in the future, but I have every intention of doing so. Update, they came out today to run electric to my shed/workshop and did an excellent job. They showed up on time, were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Safe Electric was incredible. They located the issue within minutes, and would’ve been on their way quickly but instead took the time to look over a lot more of my house, insuring the safety, and even asked me if there was anything else they could fix, etc. I called them here for one issue, but they left fixing several more smaller concerns I had and also took the time to explain to me how it worked and cautioning me of the dangers to be aware of. Definitely stood out as a company that operates with a goal of creating a customer experience that separates them from what I expect nowadays.

Rhett was right on time and thorough in his assessment. He made some recommendations on how best to install the EV charger so as to maximize its efficiency while minimizing any safety or hazard concerns. Rhett explained all the options and then got the work completed quickly. Would definitely use this company again!

Mike and Zach I believe were the two gents who arrived. They were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I received the needed assistance and estimate info as well. Came and assessed the problem of my stove popping and sparking even after the circuit breaker was off. Found out the breaker was mislabeled! Found and corrected the problem. Did a full safety inspection and made me aware of some items I might consider in updating my electrical hardware. Rhett and Chris were very helpful and gave me many options. If I choose to update or have another electrical need -Safe Electric is who I will be calling.

Mike & his counterpart Chris were extremely professional, knowledgeable, & very polite on the service call. There diagnosis and explanations were very thorough and precise. Great experience as always with safe electric! They explained everything very well. The price was clearly laid out and explained. Work was top-notch and they even cleaned up despite the work being done in my attic when I told them they didn’t have to.

We initially engaged Safe Electric to check on some general electrical issues in our home relative to appliances. We were impressed with their service and professionalism, and when we found out they also did smoke and carbon monoxide detector updates, we had them do the work. There were some manufacturer issues, but Safe Electric stood by us, their customer, throughout the entire process. I couldn't be happier with their people, and gladly have their monthly service on call/one call contract!

Jamie was my electrician and he was awesome. Very thorough. Took his time and thoroughly explained all the options once he has done his diagnosis. I highly recommend him and his company.

Changing my review from 1-star to 5-star. The technicians that came to the house were very nice and professional. After 20 mins they found that the problem we were having was related to a rather hidden GFCI outlet that had tripped and they were able to fix our issue by resetting the outlet. The initial quote for diagnostics and work was $400, but after the quick fix when I asked if that was still the cost the technicians said yes. I was floored. I'm in a service industry as well and tried to weigh how much expertise was needed to fix this issue and couldn't understand the charge standing. After leaving a poor review the business owner reached out and remedied the situation breaking down the costs and reimbursing us for the overcharge, stating it should not have been that much for a simple fix. I appreciate the effort the owner went to remedy the situation and unhappiness.

It’s rare these days that companies and their people deliver good service. From the initial call to the remediation of the problem, Safe Electric out performed my expectations. Not only did I get a service call the same day, but the technician arrived ahead of schedule, communication was excellent, and I was very pleased with the technician’s ability to find the problem and correct a mistake by another contractor. It was one of the bright spots of my day! I highly recommend Safe Electric and won’t use any other company in the future.

I have a 1950's house with an original electrical system. Safe electric brought my home up to 2020 code by replacing my original panel box, updating to 200 amp service, and exterior meter box, and updating my outlets and switches to be GFCI with Arcfault protection and whole house surge protector. They gave me a reasonable quote (I got estimates from 3 companies including a ballpark from reddit). The actual work was done quickly and the technicians Tyler and Brenden were fantastic. I plan ob being in this home for a long time and this work will let me start other remodeling projects. Thanks again Safe electric!

Jamie took the time to go over in detail what he would do, and the cost. All work was done in a timely manner, I was able to watch Jamie as he worked. Also he cleaned up any mess he made and did not leave until I was satisfied with the work done.

I did not use their service because they charge $69 to come out and quote. I just want to warn people of this charge. Most companies do not charge to get quotes. For example, you may get multiple quotes from multiple companies (You should do this any time you are outsourcing work) but this company may be higher or can't do the full scope. My point is, in that case, you are out $69. Do not encourage this type of business model.Please note: This bad review is on the business model, not the electricians that may perform the work.

I asked them to come give me a quote on moving my meter box about twenty feet from its location now and they just hit me with a price of nine thousand dollars at minimum. They said it won't even take a 1/2 A-day to do the work materials. Don't even add up to a thousand dollars but yet they want nine thousand dollars to do it. I will not hire them because they are trying to gauge people's eyeballs out with their prices. Other than that they did get somebody here quickly and the guy who showed up was very intelligent. The only fault I could find was their pricing. I would not recommend them they cost way too much money.

Great service with professional team. Texted 30 mins before they arrived to say they were on their way and who was coming, did the estimates on the spot and able to complete the work needed right away within about an hour to 90 minutes. (Work completed: replaced two outdoor light fixtures, wired and installed a new outdoor garage light, replaced a non-working outdoor socket, added a surge protector to the main electrical panel). Everything was easy from scheduling to receipts and emailed estimates and inspection form. I would highly recommend.

Thomas Kelley did a great job of diagnosing a problem of not getting power to pumps and electrical outlets at our pool. He found that the AEP meter was defective, even though AEP's remote tests showed it was getting electricity. It was good to find out that the problem was not in my equipment.

I have zero background in how to deal with electric wiring and they taught me a lot about why our electric panel needed updating and how much of a fire hazard our old version was (and how really, it needed to be changed a long time ago). Despite being such a big job, they were able to get it all done the same day (and they fit me in the next day after I initially called!)! Would totally seek out their help again!

During summer 2021 I began planning for the installation of a mini-split unit for an all season room without any air conditioning or heating. I selected Custom Air, Columbus, Ohio, to install a Mitsubishi mini-split unit, but I had to find an electrician to provide 240 volt service to the exterior wall of the room. I contacted seven electrical companies for estimates, a couple did not show up at the arranged time. I ultimately received five estimates, Safe Electric was one of the more expensive (not the most expensive), but Ed spent more time than any other electrician carefully looking over the project and then provided the most detailed estimate that was all inclusive. Some companies had provided very general estimates that included language saying things like, ...additional required materials and time to be paid for by the property owner. Ed installed the wiring in 90 feet of metal (not plastic) pipe that he bent (with a pipe bending tool) to perfectly fit snugly under the eave of the roof. The sections of pipe were connected with waterproof fittings. The entire installation was very professional and is does not detract from the home's exterior appearance. The County's Building Inspector was very impressed with the entire installation. Please see the attached four photos. Three photos show how snugly Ed tucked away the metal pipe containing the 240 volt electrical wiring. I drew in a red line showing the path of the pipe because it can be difficult to see. The forth photo is of one of the water tight fittings where the sections of pipe are connected.

Tyler and Jack installed an outlet in my bathroom and fixed a light fixture. They also installed a surge protector on my electric panel. They did a great job...were fast and efficient and went above my expectations. They were easy to work with. I was so please that I had Safe Electric back to install some under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. Kyle and Austin installed the lighting in the kitchen. They did a great job! We had an issue where the electricity would go on & off on several switches. The nice lady who answered my phone call was very courteous, and even talked me through a few problem-solving techniques to see if I could find the source of our problem before spending money to get a technician out there, which I thought was super nice. When the problem still couldn’t be resolved, she scheduled an electrician to come out very quickly. Erik and his assistant worked hard to find the cause of the shortage and repaired it efficiently. They were on time, professional, clean, and friendly. Would definitely use this company again!

Great service and great communication. From the start, Raven was helpful and kind on the phone. John came out to do quotes on the work. He was very honest about pricing, no hidden fees. We used Safe Electric for a fan installation on our 18ft vaulted ceiling with no existing fan box. After months of trying we were beginning to lose hope as it had been near impossible to even get a call back from most places. However, within 24 hours of calling Safe Electric, Zack and Jack were at my door. After reviewing the work they provided me with an estimate and a week later the fan was installed. Zack and Jack did a great job on the installation which only took a few hours and the work was completed with minimal drywall damage. If I'm being honest I have no idea if we got a good deal or not because as I previously mentioned I couldn't even get a call back for an estimate from other places, but Zack and Jack were responsive, considerate and very professional so I was more than happy to give Safe Electric my business and would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

Mikey and Joel were great. Very professional they took the time to give me the best options for my basement. Installed the outlets right where I needed them. They took care to return the room back to the way it was before the install . They took care and treated my home as if it was theirs. Can’t ask for any better professionalism than that. This is an all-around fabulous company! We’ve had them in our home twice, and each time scheduling with Raven she’s been thorough and kind. Bryce has installed several light fixtures, a bath fan, and an outlet. He walks through all the options for installation, is a self-professed perfectionist, and even brought a treat for my dog. Great company. Pretty pricey for the job requested. I'm certain I paid double for a fan installation than other contractors quoted...but you get what you pay for! They did a fantastic job in such a quick manner. My contractor Erik and his apprentice Garret didn't leave until the job was perfect.

This was my first experience with this outfit but it most certainly will not be my last. My father used to say you get what you pay for and his was always right. My electrical box was extremely outdated(40+ years) and needed a major upgrade. Safe Electric did a very nice job installing our light fixtures, switches, and outlets. We're very pleased with their work. However, be prepared for a lengthy visit with extra sales pitches. I had to miss several meetings after the initial 2-hour window I was given because they wanted to sit down with me and go over quotes to do approximately $9,000 of extra work in our home. The visit was unexpectedly very disruptive to my work day. If this plan been disclosed in advance, I would not have scheduled the visit. Of course, if you are looking for a whole-home inspection/upgrade, they are very thorough.

The technicians were very courteous by wearing paper booties after they put down a rug to step on as they entered my home. Caleb gave me the verbal quote before proceeding with any work. I would undoubtedly use Safe Electric Co again.

Mickey and Joel got the job but not before a sales pitch for additional services. Once they got to the light switch that had quit working a few days before, it took no time at all to fix it. I thought I had found an electrician to call for future repairs until I got the bill. I may be wrong but $345 to fix a switch seems a bit much. Although they did fix the problem, I doubt I would use them again or recommend them to my friends.

Eric and Brendon were great! They went above and beyond.We heard a loud noise, the lights went out and there was a hot electrical smell. The circuit breaker was tripped. This had happened before and this time we called Safe Electric instead of the other company and they sent Eric and Brendon. They spent several hours checking the breaker panel and every outlet and light switch. Eric even climbed into the attic and checked the wiring. While they were unable to find the cause, to keep us safe, they installed a special circuit breaker that will trip at the first sign of an arc. It has not tripped yet and we sleep peacefully know our house is protected.They did such great work that we are calling them to come and fix the ceiling light that we believe caused the breaker to trip.Let us back up a couple of weeks. The first time this happened, we called a different electric company. A person came out, turned the breaker back on and replaced a light switch. He did not check the breaker panel nor any of the other outlets or switches that were on the circuit. He was in and out in about 30 minutes. So when the problem happened again a couple of weeks later, we called Safe Electric and were glad that we did.

Zach was very professional and informative on estimate and able to get me next day service! Installers Jack and Austin worked diligently and professionally to accomplish all tasks to be done and then reviewed all the work done. I was very satisfied with the work. I do still have a small issue which I hope will be taken care promptly!

I had this company do major work about 18 months ago and had them come back out to do a couple more jobs. Had one of the same guys (Mikey) with 2 others and once again showed up timely and went right to work. I never felt like I had to keep an eye on them. Working from home, they were always very considerate and communicated when they needed to turn a breaker off but did all of the work ahead so it only needed to be done once, if possible, and was very quick to get it back on. Prices are prices that nobody likes but for good work and having it done correctly is piece of mind and worth it.

10/28/22This is the fourth time Safe Electric come out and do electrical work at my home. Adam Lanzer arrived to do this job on time or maybe a little early. He came in, assessed the jobs, then got to work completing the jobs. SE does something interesting…..they assign a technician to you, then continue to assign that same technician to future jobs. I found that helped me enormously. I’ve built trust in Adam, I feel more and more confident in Adam each time he does a job. He has made great suggestions in situations where I didn’t know which way would be best. Adam’s work is meticulous. I will continue to use Safe Electric going forward and if you give them a try, Safe Electric will become your go-to place, just like they have become mine. I highly recommend Safe Electrical!1ST JOBAdam was called to an emergency & the office called me immediately to let me know he was running a little bit late, which was fine with me. I had a fairly extensive list & he carefully examined each issue. I was very happy when he took the time to examine the breaker box & found corrosion, rust, as well as circuits that had too many items connected to them. He went over each item with me, decided what should be done first & I was scheduled the next week! I am anxious to have them come & do everything that needs to be done. I had old track lighting I detested & had no idea what to do, when Adam recommended the can lighting. He also installed a dimmer switch. It was a 3 day project and every day they Bob, Eric, and Don took the time to walk through the progress and answer any questions we had. Caleb with Safe Electric was great. They had a big job ahead of them replacing a panel and installing a new outlet. They worked non stop without complaint for seven hours, left the place just as clean as it started, and filled us in on the progress along the way.I would certainly recommend them again.

I emailed Safe Electric about the line connection to the house coming loose and they gave me a call about ten minutes later to set up an appointment.Zack and Eric came out the next morning to inspect everything and walked me through some options on what could be done and the benefits of each. Once I decided they were able to get all the work done the same day. They were professional, efficient, and very easy to work with.

Mikey and Austin did a wonderful job on all of our lighting and fan fixtures. I feel that they were very thorough, honest, knowledgeable and professional. We just wanted lighting and fans installed and with their inspection they found an issue that could had been a dangerous situation. Got the heads up that Safe Electric were on their way and who exactly was my POC. They arrived just over 20mins after the notification.Both Eric and Joel were professional and friendly. They already had an idea what we wanted (wanted a new outlet and a wired floodlight installed). Eric took a couple minutes to assess what it would take and provided a reasonable quote with 2 options that were well within our price range.Despite a couple setbacks (my house added several curve balls to the mix) they both handled it with ease and we were very satisfied with the work.

Great experience working with the team. Bob, Braden, Chris, and Garrett were great over the two days of work we had them do. They updated our breakers, installed a whole house surge protector, understood how to properly bond our house siding, changed out our plugs, worked around the mess of our moving, and we’re quite friendly.

Safe electric was very professional from the moment I contacted them. First of all they actually answered the phone and within one half hour they were able to schedule an appointment within one hour of my call. We had a huge tree limb fall into our backyard which took out our electrical wires and they quickly came and carefully rewired everything that was needed up to code. We are extremely satisfied with every aspect of the service. They explain the entire job to us and billed us appropriately. We would recommend them highly without any reservations especially Bryce! And he drove an entire hour from Buckeye Lake to get here which we also deeply appreciated his commitment to the company and to the customer. The representatives of Safe Electric had to replace two breakers and they did a level one diagnostic service. There is still a voltage issue that Ohio Edison is going to have to repair. In the meantime I cannot use my appliances. I was very happy with the politeness, professionalism and knowledge exhibited by both men. I was dismayed at the price, but I may just be unaware of the cost of electrical repairs. I just want my home to be safe.

Based on reviews, I called the company to set up an electrical home inspection for a house we are in contract with.They were able to come out the very next day for the inspection, which was excellent due to our quickly ending inspection period. I wasn’t able to be there, but when I got the invoice later on, they had charged for just the 10 point inspection, not the whole home as discussed. I called and asked why, and they were able to come back the same day and conduct the whole home inspection. For this I am very grateful, but was frustrated because that meant the seller had them in their house twice in the same day. I had clearly indicated and planned for the whole home inspection, so I don’t know what happened. We got the updated bill, and the invoices. I would have thought since they screwed up, they would offer a discount but they didn’t. Especially considering they knew we had to again reach out to the sellers and obtain a very rapid response in order to complete the inspection within few short hours (again, happy they could do it but very much an inconvenience for us, our realtor, their realtor, and the seller).UPDATE: promptly after posting the initial review, the owner Matt called me personally to ask about what happened. After a very polite, honest conversation in which he let me detail the events of the day, he informed me of his 100% satisfaction guarantee and provided the most generous of refunds. I greatly appreciate the unwavering willingness to satisfy customers.

This was our first time using Safe Electric. We live in Reynoldsburg and had a weekend emergency and just found this company by Googling. Had two light fixtures replaced. The guys were great! Courteous and did great work. However it was way more than I have ever paid for such work. Nothing against the guys who did the work but management who sets these crazy prices I do have a problem with.

Safe Electric just spent 2 days at my place overhauling my electrical system. Their work included many hours in the hot attic, basement, roof, bedrooms, and, of course, outdoors. From scheduling through repair, my experience with Safe Electric has been most satisfying. At the initial service evaluation, the electrician identified and thoroughly explained various options to address some existing and potential issues with wiring. Actual repairs and installation of a house surge protector were completed within a few hours. All of this done within a two-day time frame. I would highly recommend this company. Tyler & Ryan came to replace a circuit breaker and found a problem with incorrect installation of well pump to pressure tank ( installed by plumber). The wires were installed in reverse.Tyler pointed out that our hardwired smoke alarm was over 10 years old. Tyler and Ryan were very patient and accommatating in explaining what needed to be done. We had 3 hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detectors replaced.In Tyler's safety inspection he suggested we have a surge protector installed. They were very polite and not pushy with suggesting what updates were needed. Update...I had some issues with holes left in the ceiling. I called Safe Electric and Raven apologized and said she would take care of it. I called the company at 7 am and they had a tech at my house within 2 hours. Eric and his colleague explained and showed us the issue that was causing half the house and appliances to gave no power. They quoted that it would take 6 hours to complete and had it done in 3. So so thankful for them and Safe Electric for taking care of us so quickly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Good inspection for the service but a bit too expenses for replacing what it needed replacing. I just left it alone until I can get other estimates.

I had purchased the fixture to replace the one which had been installed prior to my living here, but unfortunately the prior home owner had not used a junction box, so in order to be up to code, Adam did install one which made the bill higher. Took a shot on Safe Electric when looking for a new AC outlet and HDMI runs for a wall mounted TV. Ben came out and looked it over and discussed the solutions. There wasn't enough time to finish it that day so we scheduled a couple days later. He came back and had all the necessary supplies and knocked it out in a couple hours. He did a FANTASTIC job on the install and cleaned everything up. After he left I joked to my wife that that area was cleaner when he left than when he got here. Both appointments I had a courtesy call or text in advance. Definitely calling them again for the next issue or project.

We had a huge tree take down our electric wiring, causing damage to the service entrance wiring, mast, etc. It was very hot and we were worried we'd be without power for a while, however, Rhett was out literally within a few hours and then we had power back on shortly after that with coordination from AEP.The work was done very professionally and looks much cleaner than before even. Everything was done to code with a clean installation. Rhett and his helper were happy to explain everything to me and what all needed to be done before we could have power again. Very happy with the work, and I'll contact them again for future work- hopefully without a tree on my structure next time!

Had a great experience with Ben and Eric from Safe Electric. They arrived on time, were very friendly, and changed out 4 light fixtures quite quickly. There were some challenges with one of the fixtures (manufacturing defect) that they alerted me to and were able to troubleshoot to make the installation happen. Already have a future appointment set up for some additional work. Highly recommend! Also, Liz from the scheduling office is very friendly and easy to work with.

Do not mess with handymen or fly-by-night companies or even your opinionated uncle who says he can do it.Hire only professionals (same with plumbers, btw). Safe Electric did an excellent job installing a new electrical panel, riser, meter, all new outlets & switches, installing four new ceiling and two bathroom fans in the 50 year old home we recently purchased. Bryce Postle and crew are professional technically and when engaging with customers. We will continue to rely on Safe Electric for the needs of our home going forward.

On time, I tried another electrical service who cancelled twice after the time they scheduled to be here. The text letting me know they were on the way was great. Rhett was very thorough and explained what could and could not be done. No pressure estimates. I scheduled 1 job to be done, will follow up once it is complete.

We were having work done on our home and lost electricity to a few bedrooms and the garage, including a home office. We called Safe Electric to come take a look as we needed to be up and running in the home office. Zach and another Tech came out, within 10 minutes showed me a book quoting $600 to get us up and running. Before they started any work they completed their “10 pt Safety Inspection”. From that inspection they told us we needed $12,000 worth of work (new panel, whole home redevice, grounding, surge protector) which would take two days to complete. When we said we weren’t able to agree to all of these fixes, we asked for them to just get the bedrooms up and running. Zach explained the way our home was wired is “illegal in some states and unsafe for homes”. He said the only way to restore it was to redevice the three bedrooms and garage. We agreed as we needed functioning electric. Turns out “redevice” means they replaced the outlet faces then presented us with a $1,300 bill. I was SHOCKED! After being told that my house was “unsafe” from what I thought was a professional, I was nervous to have my family at home. The next day, our garage light turned on and flipped the breaker. I was incredibly upset that we paid so much money and still were experiencing issues on the same breaker. We called another company to come take a look. They had us up and running within an hour. We told them everything Safe Electric quoted us for and got an estimate from the new company. Most of what Safe Electric quoted was unnecessary. We were given and estimate for the necessary work and it was under $1,000. Safe Electric was so predatory in their tactics. They took one look around the house, noticed we had kids, and tried to scare us into getting an exorbitant amount of unnecessary work done. Electricians should not work on commission and receive 20% for scaring unknowing customers into authorizing unnecessary work to be completed. I have told many friends about this company and their unprofessional, slimy sales tactics.

Estimate for 2 separate projects at my residence. Tech was very knowledgeable and professional along with being friendly.

We worked with Safe Electric for a large rewiring project in our historic home. Caleb and his team were very thorough in ensuring the electrical system was going to be safe and effective. As with all projects, we encountered many unforeseen issues that needed to be addressed. Caleb was always sure to keep us informed and offered multiple solutions whenever he could to keep us in control of the project. They were also considerate to not let our pets out and kept the work area clean, this sounds small but it really meant a lot to us. We signed up for their preferred program and I look forward to working with them for many years to come.

Tom and Austin were very polite and respectful of my home. They were thorough and explained every detail of the major damage to my electric panel and box due to fire. We had originally been scheduled for a week out, but they were able to come out the same day! I also really appreciated Eden whom I spoke to originally, she was was so kind and sympathetic about our situation that was so refreshing about a day of phone calls. Thank you for excellent service!

Safe Electric was phenomenal! I had them do extensive work. I upgraded my entire home panel to 200 amp, had them raise my overhead service line about 4ft, install a rigid service mast / weather head, and run a 100amp sub panel to my new garage. I also had them throw in a couple outlets while at it. I won't lie... I almost didn't go with them because of price, but in the end, I felt very confident about my choice. I received quotes from several vendors, and Safe was significantly higher, but I actually lost a few hundred bucks messing around with an amateur before Safe. I ultimately cut my losses, asked him to leave, and decided I needed to bring in the best! The electrician Safe sent me was Ben, and he was AMAZING! Friendly, patient, communicative, safe, and offered to go above and beyond in so many ways. I almost felt like friends with him after working with them for a couple days. I signed up for the monthly plan and will likely try it out for a while and call them again with other emergency repairs.

The call in service told me originally it would be 4 weeks , but within a hour someone called from Safe Electric saying, You're having a real emergency we can have someone out there tomorrow, for the same $69 fee. I was grateful and shocked at no additional high weekend fee.Mickey was great!! He gave up his Sunday to help out our household. AEP has come the day before and told us our main ground line from the weather turn where their line ends to the outside meter, and from there to our breaker box needs to be replaced. As an added bonus our breaker box is under recall. So he replaced all of it for us on a Sunday. It was pricey but not as terrible as I feared. They also offer 12 months same as cash, which made it was less painful.I would ask to have Micky back as my service tech again. Straightforward, honest, and funny is always a plus.

Technician Mikey was on time. He was pleasant, informative and
confident. Thoroughly inspected electrical equipment. It was a brutally hot day and he did the full job which took hours. I'm very happy with the work. I will definitely call Safe electric again with any further needs.

Ben and Kyle were excellent. Super knowledgeable about electric and did a great job diagnosing the issues and finding resolutions. They were also able to fix an outdoor light issue that a couple of different electricians had not been able to solve. Will definitely use Safe Electric again if we have any other issues.

I called in the morning and they were able to find an opening to get a technician to me in the afternoon. Bob was very clear and professional. He only took about 20 minutes to diagnose and fix a 2 and 3 switch fixture and plate. Cost was reasonable seeing as I didn't have to do anything myself and they did it fast.

Love this company, will forever only use them for any electrician needs! They are truly do it all. I have had them in my home to install kitchen lights, install new outlets to hide wires, repair outlets, and to install fans. All of which were amazing work. Not to mention all of their workers are very polite, considerate, and are very educated and confident in their work. We have had them in our home twice and definitely plan on hiring them again. We have had Caleb and Rhett both to help us, and as mentioned before they were more than a delight.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company. When it comes to something as scary and difficult as electric, I become a very picky person and don't want to use just anyone or try to find someone that's going to do it for cheap. We used Safe Electric a year ago and were very impressed with them from beginning to end. We knew we would be using them again if we ever needed anything. This year we needed them! And it was a huge project. We added an addition to our house and they were prompt, communication was amazing, work was done on time, and even though electric can be expensive, you get what you pay for! Raven took my call at 1130am and by 2:45 she had a team here to assist in my dilemma. All smoke detectors were going off consistently every couple hours. Bryce and Chris determined the cause and acted quickly to calm a homeowners nerves. New detectors and a surge protector and we are all set. By 430, all was resolved. Raven knew I was concerned and she created a very minimal time for me to grow fearful of the unknown. Caleb and Eric did a great job with our electric needs. Caleb helped us with a lighting problem we have had for well over a year. He knows what he is doing! We also had two complicated fans to install and replace and it was done quickly without any problems. The one other thing I will say about this company - we have had several different people from Safe Electric in our house. This was the second time we used this company. They (Carol, I want to say?) answered my call just before 5:00 and had someone out the next day! Rhett was kind and professional. He took coverings on and off his shoes as he went in and out. We were relieved to find that the issue was minor this time. (We didn’t realize we had a trip.) This is my third time calling Safe Electric. They do a wonderful job! They have replaced switches, upgraded my panel and installed a dedicated line for my fireplace. The electricity line & outlet was attached to the rafter in our crawl space and needed to be run up through the flooring and reattached to the outlet. Had some outlet issues and called Safe Electric because of their great reviews. I’m so glad I called. They were able to send out an electrician the next day. When the electricians Ben and Sean arrived they were extremely professional and explained the whole process and cost from start to finish. The work they did was top notch. Mikey and Donnie were amazing technicians! I had 3/4 of my house out of power and needed an entire panel replacement and a bunch of work done from water damage. They were here less than 2 hours after I called, were incredibly professional, kind, and helpful, and had me up and running in less than a day. I didn't even lose the food in my freezer! I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially in such an emergency situation.

I woke up this morning to my smoke alarms chirping and could not get them to stop. I tried to change the batteries but kept on chirping. I did not know who to call so based on google reviews I called Safe Electric and so happy I did. I was going on vacation the next day and needed someone immediately. I spoke to Raven and she was great. She could tell how stressed I was so told me someone would be out and not to worry. Certainly calmed me down, so appreciative. Tom came at about 1:00 and took care of my problem I had to replace all my smoke alarms but he explained the reasons why so that I could make a reasonable choice. I did not feel pressured at all which was sooooo nice. By 3:00 he and his partner had replaced all smoke alarms and I am all set to go on vacation. I would recommend this company to anyone, Prices are reasonable (checked after they left) and customer service was impeccable. I am so happy I found an electric company I can use in the future!!

This company was awesome!!! Had a bad electrical problem with sparks lighting up my basement even with the breaker box off on New Year's day. Had to call South Central out to shut electricity off in my house. They were open on Sunday and even though the couldn't come out on Sunday, they came out first thing on Monday morning even being short handed on help. The receptionist Eva was delightful to talk to and the technician Zach was very polite and professional. I am sorry that I cannot remember the name of the other guy but they had my problem fixed by the end of business day. Considering they had to run lines from the weatherhead down to the meter box and into the breaker box. Amazingly they actually had meter boxes (which you can hardly find in Columbus), it is a box I like a lot better than the old ones. They also brought my meter box and ground wires up to code. I even had a South Central representative tell me I was in good hands with this company when I told her who was doing the work. I would highly recommend them.

The electricians were competent and friendly. What I didn't like from the get-go when I called this company was that they charged for a service call no matter what. When I worked with an electrician in another state, he would come check out the work and tell me if he could do it or not and then give me the quote. In this instance, I paid $70 for a quote that was for $1000 and was told there would be 4 holes put in my wall (not at all the electrician's fault, just stating the cost of the work to be done). In less than ten minutes, I sent them on their way. That is a pricey 10 minute conversation.In response to Matt...yes, I was told what you wrote when I initially called and said, what if they come out and I pay $70 and they can't do the work. It really doesn't change how I feel about it. Again, in another state, I worked with a certified electrician who had a fully stocked truck and was also the nicest person in the world. Again, I understand everything Matt is saying...what I am saying, is that it doesn't sit well with me. If you are okay with hiring this company, than that is fine. I would work with Caleb, no problem. This review isn't telling anyone not to work with this company, it is simply stating my feelings on charging $70 for a 10 minute conversation...that I also waited two weeks to have.

5/10/2022: Had an electrical issue with a downstairs bathroom that wasn't working properly. Even after a different electrician couldnt figure out the problem, Ben and his apprentice Reece diagnosed the problem incredibly quickly and gave advise/solutions as to how to move forward...They even found additional issues with some things that weren't done up to code.I've said it before and I'll say it again: they are any homeowner/investors dream when it comes to electrical issues or advice. Safe Electric hires high caliber people that do high caliber work. It also pays to be on their Safety and Savings plan - highly recommend!---01/2021: From the very start, Safe electric was phenomenal. Safe was incredibly professional and had someone to my house the same day I called.It only got better from there. Ben and Eric arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem, educated us on the issues, and fixed what another electrician missed. I wont use anyone else except for them going forward. If you need knowledgeable, professional, and friendly electricians who can tackle any problem...Safe is the way to go. Worth every penny!

I just changed the rating after speaking with Eric. I felt at first sticker shock from an easy fix due to my own ineptitude of dealing with a breaker issue. I had an issue with billing and Eric rectified it to my satisfaction. I often search companies based on these ratings and my decision to go with safe electric in the end was worth it.They say they are not happy unless you are. They proved this was true.

I had a great experience with Safe Electric. Ben was my technician and Jack was helping him. I got a confirmation text the day prior and Ben called 30 min before he was going to be there. He was right on time. He was very helpful and thorough. I had knob and tube wiring updated, a few outlets placed, and made some changes to existing outlets. He let me know about some things that I will need to do in the future and gave me a quote without any pressure. The work was not inexpensive, but about what I expected overall. It was a very good experience and I would recommend Safe Electric without hesitation.

Their receptionist was able to schedule a visit the same day. Zack, Jack, and Chris where very responsive, fast, and courteous. Zack explained what needed to be done. They did a great job replacing my breaker box and all the conections to the outside of the house. They wore their PPE and cleaned up after they finished. They also were very helpful with payment options. I highly recommend this company and will use their service again.

Brendon and Chris did a good job. I wanted the fluorescent lights fixed and checked in my home. Brendon and Chris recommended that I upgrade all the fluorescent lights to LED because they will last longer and are brighter. They upgraded two lights and I going to buy another two lights and have them back out to install them. I am very happy with the upgrade. Brendon and Chris also went through the maintenance program and shared some overall information about the company. I have one recommendation for the owner of Safe Electric LLC: Allow your customers to pay for one year on a maintenance contract when they have electrical service performed instead of requiring a monthly fee. I prefer paying for a year at a time. I was very happy with the work done by Brendon and Chris and will definitely use Safe Electric LLC again!

Wanted to let all know that I had a great experience in dealing with safe electric. Both Tom and TJ are were professional and courteous. They evaluated the project and provided a quote on the spot. Had to run and get a few parts and came back and completed the work the same day. The pricing I received was not cheap, (nothing today is) but pretty much in line with other pricing I had received. I have recommended Safe Electric to a friend who plans to have them add an additional outlet.. I received a call afterword from Emily who was very pleasant and professional checking up on the guys

We had Caleb and his brother as our technicians to install a large chandelier in our two story living room. We were nervous the job would be challenging with the height and size of the fixture but they completed installation quickly and we couldn't be happier with the result! Had a great experience with Sean & TJ reworking some power wires to account for some house remodelling. They came out on time, gave a quote that was reasonable and then got to work straight away and had it finished in a few house. They were very careful with the house, making sure to remove any drywall and trim in a clean way such that it was very easy to put back. They also threw in a couple of extra outlets and some dimmers for free and gave some nice free advice. Would recommend.

Tech worked quickly and efficiently. He wore a mask without being asked. He provided an estimate in advance. I had an afternoon appointment but they were running early and called, and the new time worked out great. I will definitely use them again.

Mikey came out after I called the previous evening because our fridge outlet stopped working (as well as a couple others). He quickly diagnosed the issues, loose connections in the back of the outlets, and he went through and installed new GFCI outlets. He also looked at our porch outlet as well as inside our breaker panel. He found a big scorch mark inside the breaker panel and recommended a new box as well as a whole home surge protector. Again, they were not pushy at selling these productsservices. They were quick and efficient and a pleasure to have work in our home.Will continue to use Safe Electric in the future!

Rhett was awesome, he and his colleague worked quickly and did a great job! We had 4 recessed lights installed in one room, and one fixture wired and installed in another room. Very pleased with my new lighting and would absolutely work with them again.

Updating my 1st review bc it doesn't do them justice. Had to get help attaching our meter to the house, not only did they use quality parts and screws that we don't have to worry about rust or wear, but they noticed some parts of our wiring wasn't up to code and they fixed that, and replaced shady work done from the original reno, plus replaced the parts and resealed everything so we have complete peace of mind.Caleb, Rheese, Kara, and Raven were so professional and kind to any questions we had.

My family and I had a great experience with Safe Electric. We scheduled a service call online late in the evening, and received a phone call first thing the next morning. We had a technician at the home prior to 10:30am. Super responsive.The technician did a thorough review of the issue and even provided suggestions to improve the safety of our home. It was very comforting and professional. The staff even directed us to their website where they had coupons to use.The overall experience was one of the best experiences we’ve had.

We had a near fire in our Laundry room and found out from Rhett once he got here to inspect it that if we didn’t smelled it there would’ve def been a fire. I am very thankful for this company. Safe Electric provided the best customer experience I have had in a while from a contractor. From my first moment of contact over a dead circuit to the final moment when Tom left the house, they acted professionally with skill/knowledge readily on display. They just really nailed everything correctly. Since our circuit outage was a bit of a safety issue, they were on it same day and Tom didn't back off until he found the problem. I was thoroughly impressed and will be keeping them in my list of trusted contractors for the future. Price was incredibly fair (even better than fair honestly) considering the amount of trouble/time to find the specific problem.

Rhett and Zack came to our house and identified the problem, they were very professional yet kind and they were even able to fix our panel and outlet in the same day. Ben and Mikey visited us two times, the first time to do a quote and then the second they came back to do all of the quoted repairs. We even added two services last minute that they were able to accomodate during their appointment. They were very helpful, knowledgable and informative and walked us through each step and exactly what they did for each of our repairs, before and after they were done. The pricing is very straightforward and also lower than other companies we got quotes from. We will use Safe Electric and hopefully Ben and Mikey in the future for any installations/repairs/electrical work. They were also very attentive to our space and had on shoe protectors at all times indoors. Definitely recommend!

I had Safe Electric replace my electrical panel, outside electrical service, and rewire / upgrade my electric in my garage. Ben and his crew did the work and did an awesome job. We called for some minor fixture replacements and during their standard safety check, revealed that our main power board was not only was in rough shape, but was of a type known for causing fires.These gentlemen arrange to replace the board and make other up-grades and repairs that were TRULY needed. Ben and Mikey came out to: install a new breaker panel, install new quad outlets, and secure the main power feed from the weather. They worked quickly, provided great information on how they were going to install the equipment, were courteous, and professional. This is our second time using Safe Electric since moving into our new house and they have provided excellent service both times.

Brendon and his partner installed four light fixtures and stuck exactly to the estimate. I contacted Ace Handyman, to see if it would be cheaper. But just a few days before the job, after it had been scheduled more than a month prior, Ace kept adding additional people and hours. In the end, Safe Electric was the same price. I’m glad I went with Safe Electric in the end, because Brendon found two problems that a handyman would not have caught and would not have been able to solve: a double box, and a bracket that was producing sparks. Plus, he was able to puzzle-solve a way to install a used fixture with short wires. Great job Safe Electric!

Very professional and upfront about what was needed for our job. I liked that they gave as line item details, a couple different quote options and an overall price on the job instead of just an hourly rate.

We recently purchased a house and had some issues with two of the fans. Ben and Bob came out and were able to diagnose the problem and repair it that day. We decided to go with Safe Electric to have 4 light fixtures installed and once again Ben and Bob as well as two others came out and they were able to get everything installed in one day. We have called them for all our electrical issues and have been very happy with the results. They are always friendly and professional. I am replacing our outlets and switches myself and they even gave me some tips on the best way to replace them and how to stay safe. We will always go with Safe Electric when we need any electrical work done.

Not only did they fix the problem they taught me what to do if I wanted to switch out the outlet and labeled the wires so I could do it myself. Terrific! TJ did a great job. He communicated very clearly with regard to the work I needed and did repairs very well. Pricing was reasonable and explained in full before work began. I needed a new GFI and am so happy to have one! I also needed to have an additional light switch added in a bedroom. Again, I am so very pleased to have that additional switch. TJ also made a hard to reach plug more accessible. I have been having some issues with my outdoor lighting & he offered good suggestions. I look forward to having him correct that lighting issue. UPDATE: Two technicians, TJ and Mark, arrived on time on the day of our appointment and provided courteous and knowledgable service. They replaced an outlet that needed to be GFI and uninstalled outdoor wiring to make it up to code. They exained everything to me as they went, and I left the appointment feeling my home was safer. I love that Safe Electric sends text reminders for your appointment and for when technicians are on their way. TJ called me when they were on their way, as well. I also feel the prices are very fair. I would recommend Safe Electric as I had a great experience with them from start to finish.PREVIOUS: This review is for the customer service I received when setting up my appointment for electric work. I had a few specific electrical issues in my home that I was hoping to have repaired, and I spoke to the rep named Raven. She was so patient and kind as I asked several questions about the process. I was unsure about some of the work I wanted to get done, and Raven was considerate and thoughtful in the way she scheduled my appointment to allow for extra time discussing details with the electrician. She even reviewed all the notes that she included in my file for the electrician before we ended the call which made me feel comfortable and confident in the future appointment and showed that she was listening and attentive during the conversation. This was one of the best first contacts with a business I have had.

They also replaced several outlets in the house, replaced the light over the kitchen sink with one we provided, and installed a new outlet for the freezer in the garage on its own dedicated circuit. They were professional and pleasant to an extreme. I asked a bunch of questions and they answered them all. I have them on speed-dial now for any electrical issues in the house from now on. Strongly recommend!!

The on site team did a very good job and we’re a pleasure to deal with. However the original reason i called them with was for a service they don’t usually perform( low voltage) which was a disappointment. Apparently when i called and described what I needed there were not enough questions asked by those taking the calls. I also had a 16 foot ladder they needed to do one of the jobs but they didn’t know that until they got here as well. So on site 5 stars up but be careful and offer a lot of detail if calling to request a service of them

I called Safe Electric when I was having electrical issues in my garage. Joe and Rhett were able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly, and were both very polite and professional. TJ saved the day with same-day service after parts of our house randomly lost power. He not only diagnosed and repaired the issue on the spot, but clearly explained to me how the entire electrical system works, with solid recommendations to service some neglected areas. This is the second time I have used Bob from Safe Electric. This time, Bob and Mark did a great job installing a new tv, outlets, etc over my fireplace. They did a great job and avoided having to drill holes through wall and studs on the side wall of fireplace. I recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Great response. Got a call be right away. Got three quotes for the amount of work I wanted done, plus a 4th quote based on additional options I wanted to consider. Ben's, Sean's, Mikey's work completed the panel replacement/upgrade, trenching a new line to the garage, and adding a designated outlet for the kitchen in 3 days in the dead, dead or winter. They kept the power outage to a 1/2 day and work late until everything was installed and working. I can now happily make an expresso latte without blowing the kitchen circuit. And, run power tools in the garage.

We were going to shop quotes, because Safe Electric is a little more expensive than other places, but chose to go with them because Jonathan seemed very professional and experienced. No regrets!We were going to do a full rewire, since we live in a mid-century home, but Jonathon was able to look everything over and give us an honest opinion about what our home really needed. So, we ended up with new lighting, new outlets, and GFCI breaker fuses for half the price of what a full rewire would have cost.Now, I feel safe and our home is much more functional and efficient than it was before!!! Had Eric out for a second time for a related issue. Both experiences were great.

The outlet for our stove started shorting and charring. We also needed an electrical upgrade. So I priced several companies and Safe Electric was the most reasonably priced reputable company with great reviews. The Safe Electric team finished our large project in only two days. Later, when we had a concern about the whole home surge protector after an electrical outage, Safe Electric immediately came out to ensure that the wiring was good. I'm grateful for their professionalism and responsiveness, and am confident we got good value.

TJ and Jack were here this morning to reinstall a fan that had a defective light. They did a great job with the installation as our ceilings are 18 feet high, but they were very careful with everything, respectful of our home, and generally did a great job. TJ has been here many times in the past and has replaced 10 different light fixtures for us. He is so pleasant to work with, very efficient, timely and always a professional! Because of bad experiences in the past , I’ve been hesitant to have people come to my house to do work.From the first call I felt very comfortable with the whole experience. They showed up when they said they would. They explained and made sure I understood the things I needed done. I was given a price upfront.I feel like I got a very good price from a very reputable company. They did an awesome job and cleaned up so well. We just purchased a home and had Ben, Bob and Chris come and install Can lights and add outlets etc to this older home to make it more comfortable. They were prompt every day, professional and did a great job within the schedule that we had. I would highly recommend Ben, Bob and Chris as well as Safe Electric for future Electrical work.

Wanted $20,000 to install a new electric panel in our house for an issue that a second electrician found to be missing caulk around a joint letting some water into the panel box. Lied about our electric panel expiring - they don’t expire. Lied about our sub electric panel needing a “rehab” a term that doesn’t exist. Lied and said our electric panel couldn’t support a car charger (it already has one installed) Approximately $1500 in parts and $17,500 in labor for what they described as two days work. It cost us less than $100 to fix the issue. Do your homework before calling these guys and sort by low review so you can see this seems to be a common business practice.

Mike and Ben were very prompt and got my ceiling light fixture installed. They also performed a safety checklist to make sure my home is current and safe. I will definitely use Safe Electric and I recommend them to anyone who wants quality service for an affordable value.

I called in a panic and after hours. Zach responded within 30 minutes, he assessed the situation and immediately called AEP. He was very responsive, informative and stayed while AEP was out to answer any questions and to ensure we understood the issues and how they needed to be fixed. My house was built in 1950 and needs electrical updates if adding any new lighting or appliances.I was happy to get new and safe outlets outside for a number of reasons.Safe Electric didn’t short change me on quality as prior folks had. Also, you can have a number of projects to discuss and plan so you don’t encounter a large financial expense all at once.

2nd time using this company and the new team performed just as well. Rhett and Dave were on time, professional while still friendly and happy to answer questions. Everything went well and clean up was perfect too. Would recommend and will have more done.

The technician and his assistant were great. No issues with them. In fact, appreciated meeting them.The estimate was $69 to hear an estimate for a full rewire was double plus of 2 other free estimates. Do not waste your time if it is a open wall rewire. Perhaps their other prices are reasonable but this was not.

$70 initial fee is not for anything but them to drive to your door. $432 is what I was quoted for diagnosis after they arrived. Be aware of their business plan before you call this company.

Bob was very efficient in removing the nonworking ceiling fan and installing the new fan. He made sure the remote and the fan worked correctly. We were grateful he took the old fan with him when he left.

Had their tech Jon out here a few months ago to fix a light fixtures wiring that was tripping the breaker and install GFCI breakers. They did a great job and were friendly and knowledgeable. Made sure my house was safe and that i got a quality work at a good price.Called them out again to check a GFCI breaker that was tripping with my furnace. Switched it out and had no charge with the warranty from earlier. Gave me suggestions about my furnace so i can contact a HVAC company to make sure that it's fine too ? gonna stick with Safe Electric for any issues

I've had dimming and flickering lights at the new house ever since I moved in. Last week my internet stopped working, cable company came out and their cable line was melted and fried, most likely from a bad neutral line. Outside electrical box itself smelled of burnt rubber, major fire hazard. Cable company refused to reconnect until an electrician came out. Mark and Rhett from Safe Electric came out the very same day to help. Mark stopped by last fall to help on a little short, and they honored the quote he'd given me 6mos previous for new boxes outside, new grounding, and a new panel for the basement. Mark, Rhett, and the guys made quick work of everything, did a great job explaining what they were doing and why, and responded quickly when my insurance adjuster had additional questions. They were great about masks for covid, wore boot covers to keep the house clean, and even slipped me a referral for a plumber for a leak they found down in the basement during installation. All around great company, locally owned, and professional. Ask for Rhett or Mark! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my electric needs. With the savings from my home insurance, I'll be having them out again before year's end to tidy up some other sections of the house. Great job guys! 10/10

I made an appointment with this company last week and it's been a prefect process since the begining. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and helpful. Set the appointment and then Ben and Eric visited my home today. They were on time and they we're both great. Zack and Adam came to fix faulty wiring that could have been disastrous. They also upgraded the circuit breakers to make sure a similar situation would not cause any sparking/fire and checked/fixed a few other things along the way. They explained what they would like to upgrade beyond what was strictly necessary, but no pressure to have them do those things, they explained also all the problems and answered all our questions. They are friendly, polite, and really know what they are doing. Happy to give them five stars, because they really deserve it.

Technicians Jack and Zack were prompt, polite, and thorough, performing a major overhaul of serious issues that had led to our local power company shutting our power off. They diagnosed and performed preventative care on the issues that led to our emergency. They observed both mask safety and respect for the property. And when the utility company was uncooperative, the electricians made it right.The company itself handled the issue very professionally, from two dispatchers (Liz and I believe Kim) who provided a quick appointment for our emergency situation, and then moved it up as an earlier slot became available.The team combined to resolve our major issue in on day. Now, 24 hours later, I can post this review under restored power and safety, while the other two electricians I called prior to Safe Electric have yet to even call back to set an appointment. A great job by the whole team!

We recently purchased a home that needed some electrical issues remedied. I called and was able to schedule an appointment right away. The technician who came out, Tom, was very polite and mindful of “social distancing” to the extent that is possible for something of this nature. He gave us a fair quote for the work that needed to be done. We ended up needing to replace our whole panel, which was completed today. Tom and his helper were polite and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. We would call Safe Electric again for our future needs.

We were in need of getting an estimate on a new panel and wiring in our new house and Matt was willing to meet with us on short notice (we were in the process of purchasing the house and needed to get an estimate before it was too late to back out of the deal). He took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done and answered all of our questions which made us realize that the electrical system was not as bad as we feared. We did decide to upgrade the panel for our own peace of mind and we are extremely happy with the work done. I believe we got a fair price and the work was done in a timely fashion. Hired Safe Electric to perform a safety check of my home and fix an issue from the previous owner. They sent out Brendon, who did a great job following COVID-19 safety protocols and giving me a detailed explanation of everything he found in the safety check. I'm very happy with the quality of Brendon's work. I didn't contact another electrician, so I can't comment on the price, but I feel what I paid is fair.

I had a gas line that needed to be bonded to bring the service up to code. Ben and Garet came out and explained everything thoroughly required to bring things to code and answered a couple other random questions I had regarding LED refits and cat6 lines. Glad I did this company is the best you are going to get they are certified and know their trade They fixed out septic tank motor issues with the electric panel. They fixed ground wires and power sockets previously useless. They have a monthly payment option and just great technicians. I was impressed

After my experience with Ed Roncone, I would recommend him and Safe Electric to anyone thinking of having electrical work done on their home. Ed was more than patient with his time explaining to me what he was seeing (multiple times so I could remember) and the potential problems (if there were any). What I appreciated the most was his attention to detail. He could have flown through the job just to move on to the next one, but he didn't. Despite the less than ideal conditions (working with no power or a/c in my home on the first hot days of the year), it was obvious he took a lot of pride in his work. He had help (an apprentice possibly?) and they worked long days and hustled the entire time they were working on my home. Their work area was always neat and organized and they were polite and cleaned up when they were done. A CUT ABOVE THE REST!I had a superb experience with my electric repair thanks to Safe Electric. I can honestly say I have never had a better customer service or service repair experience. It all started with the receptionist Jessica. She is very upbeat and positive and she listens very well and actually puts the customer first. I say this because I had no AC or dryer and knew that my breaker panel situation was hazardous. So I had an urgent need for a quick service call. She arranged to have them come within 30 minutes! Other electric companies I called not only had no sensitivity to the urgency and danger of my situation , they also just flat-out not emotionally told me I'm sorry we're too busy. Safe electric made the time for me! Then once the electricians came and estimated the scope of work they discovered it indeed was very critical very hazardous and arranged to repair my electric right away! I also know from events that occurred that they did this while keeping other customers in mind and handling their needs as well. So I like that they put me as a priority but they didn't brush any other customers off during the process. The electricians that did my repair we're extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and patient with my many questions. I asked a lot of questions and they were patient and explained everything to me. They have a lifetime warranty on all of their work. They arrived when they were supposed to did the work in the time frame that they said they would and the job was done right the first time. I would very highly recommend Safe Electric to anyone needing from the most basic to the most dangerous electrical repair.

When I needed to have a circuit checked out for problems, I contacted Safe Electric because of the reviews. I was not disappointed. The first visit was with TJ who inspected the line, repaired several outlets and gave me an informative, non-pressure evaluation of my current electric panel that was 40 years old. After going over pricing options, I contacted Safe Electric and TJ to do the panel replacement. TJ, Eric and Brendon were the team who were at the house to replace the panel.The team were all professional, knowledgeable and practiced COVID safe repairs, wearing masks. The work took several days, the first day was to replace the panel and get everything wired back up. I also had to have additional outdoor upgrades, including an additional grounding bar. Finally, a new meter had to be installed. The team kept me informed every step of the way and even provided a generator on the last day to keep some essentials powered during the power outage.I would highly recommend Safe Electric for any electrical needs. They were reasonably priced, professional, and got the work done right.

I can't say enough about TJ and Eric at Safe Electric - they were awesome! My electric woes started with a floor heater that blew out half the power to my upstairs. TJ arrived and diagnosed the issue. He fixed the initial issue (blown breaker) and identified the underlying issue (aluminum mixed with copper wiring). He was very thorough and professional. He educated me on the dangers of aluminum wiring and showed me the evidence (melted wires in my switch boxes). A couple of days later, he and Eric spent 2 days replacing the aluminum and making sure that our wiring was safe. They changed out the breakers to the correct manufacturer approved breakers, relabeled the breaker box with a label maker, and even installed new copper grounding rods for safety. While they were here, I then approached them with a laundry list of all of the electrical issues/complaints that I have had over the past year. They addressed them one-by-one and had very transparent and fair pricing. TJ and Eric went above and beyond - helping me install new switches, installing a new outlet in the kitchen, switching out all of the recessed lighting bulbs in my home for LED selectable lights, and even running to Home Depot to pick up a part for me that I forgot to order. Now I'm sitting in my home admiring all of the work that they did for me (cosmetically and functionally) while improving the safety of my family and home. Thank you, TJ and Eric!

I am finishing my basement and have passed my rough electric inspection with the city of Westerville. I suspected I might need to add a side-panel because my service panel was full of wires even though I still had a few open breaker slots available. I am not an electrician so I figured I should bring in a professional. I called three electrical contractors. Safe Electrical was the only on to answer their phones. I explained the work I wanted a quote on and an appointment was set for today. Technician Bob arrived as promised on time. He checked our service panel and showed that we did not need a sub panel. I asked him to add ( 4)af/gf circuit breakers. He needed to pick up a couple, left to get them, returned and completed the work all within 3 hours. He also added a neutral/ ground bus bar and Re-organized some of my ground and neutral wires so that the inspector would have an easier time checking the panel work. He took the time to give me some pointers on finishing my wiring for my final inspection. I am very happy with Safe Electric and their employee Bob and would not hesitate recommending then or using them again.

Hands down the best experience I've had so far with electricians. My electricians are TJ and Eric. They helped me replace a few light fixtures that are on a 20 fl ceiling and installed a few LED switches too. The company is truly professional- from scheduling to doing the actual work. before they moved the giant 20 fl ladder into my house they wrapped up my furniture to prevent any potential damage. they had shoe covers and masks on all the time. Communication is always good, the lady who answered my call is super nice (her name is Emily). I also learnt a great deal about how to put the LED lights on by myself. I have about 30 lights in my house and most of them are on a lower 9FT ceiling where I can just replace them by myself. TJ and Eric showed me how to put them on if I decided to do it by myself in the future. I've got other companies who always just say how hard it is to DIY and want to do everything for you so that they can charge you for the work. Safe Electric isn't one of them. They also fixed some of my old switches for free. Highly recommend!

Ben and Mikey responded and were clear on all my options to get the power back to half my house. It didn’t take long for them to discover the problem and make sure it wouldn’t happen again. Tom was on time (ahead of schedule in fact), efficient (installed new dedicated circuit outlet for a sump pump and GFI outlet in about an hour or so ) and did a great job. Only issue was cost was more than 2x the rough estimate given by Matt the owner over phone. I would still recommend this company (ask for Tom).

TJ and Eric were fantastic !!! They replaced a ceiling fan, added a TV outlet above the fireplace mantle in a home built in the 70’s. They replaced a closet can light, a garage light, as well as multiple light switches. They wore floor savers and masks as well, which I appreciated. We just purchased a home in Reynoldsburg there were several 2 prong outlets in the home when I went to replace them there was no ground. I was surprised by a 69$ dispatch fee that does not then apply to the work if authorized. The work itself was great though. Ed had an unexpected problem present itself and he had to put in much more time than expected. He handled it all with grace and was thoroughly professional.

TJ and Jack came out to take a look at the outlets in our living room, they were friendly and kept us informed on what they needed to do and why and had it all fixed in a short amount of time with a fair price. We'll definitely be calling again next time we need some electrical work done.

It has been over one and a lap year, they have not been able to locate and fix electric problem at our house inspire of paying $650. They charged for comprehensive examination of circuit problem and narrow down to one switch. They changed the switch and the problem (circuit breaker was tripping) appeared after sometimes. They sent another technician, he pointed out circuit tripping is because of another problem and gave me an estimate for the same problem. I ask them to make sure it is the problem which is causing tripping (disconnect the bad circuit) and wait for a month and see if the problem reappears. They are not willing to do so. In short, my problem is still there despite paying for full service.

I called this company based on neighborhood recommendations to replace a GFCI outlet in my kitchen. While there, I asked the electrician to take a look around the house and let me know if there was anything else that required immediate attention. He noticed that a water main I had recently replaced was no longer grounding the house. Had I not called them to replace the outlet I never would have discovered this. They were able to schedule me immediately to take care of the issue and did so for a fair price. They were upfront about pricing before starting work, showed up on time and worked efficiently, and explained everything they were doing so that I could understand what was wrong and how it was being fixed.
