Best Installation / Replacement in Columbus OH

Power was lost in sunroom, assessment and correction to issue completed. Answered questions willingly regarding electric safety in room. Will call Safe Electric again for future needs.

I had an appointment scheduled for this morning, and no one showed up. Called multiple times to both of their numbers, left voicemail, texted, and emailed after they didn't show up, and several hours later I still didn't get a response. I chose them because apparently they do great work, but I guess I'll never know.

This was after them taking days to even calculate an estimate and schedule the appointment after visiting my home, and that only happened after getting no response from several texts and getting lucky by getting an electrician to pick up the phone.

If someone actually calls me back about why they missed our appointment and comes out to do the job, then I would be willing to give a better rating, but as of now I can't say anything positive.

UPDATE:
You literally sent me an email with an estimate and a date and time for when you would arrive. If you were going to decline why didn't you just say so when you showed up, and why did you send me an estimate and schedule a date to do the job? And why didn't you call me to tell me you declined the offer? Very unprofessional.

Note that this is over two months after these guys failed to show up, during which I already hired someone else to do the job. I had completely forgotten about this terrible experience when the owner decided to change his response to this (in case he deletes it):

A horse walks into a bar, and the bartender asks what he’d like. The horse doesn’t reply because it’s a horse and obviously can’t speak or understand English. Several people get up and leave, sensing the danger in having a live animal in a bar.

On top of the ridiculousness of replying to a months old review with a metaphor, I can't even begin to think how this makes any sense. The only thing I can glean from it is that I'm the horse who apparently couldn't communicate what I wanted and somehow posed a danger to these guys, so they left without saying anything (because apparently I wouldn't have understood them anyways). Not only was everything clearly and politely communicated to you, but the idea that I somehow posed a danger to you is just downright offensive. Instead of trying to spin this into something favorable for you, you could try being decent people and admit you made a mistake for once. Honestly you people should feel ashamed of yourselves; try having some humility for once.

They Were Fast ! And I Didn't Get A bunch Of Tech Explanation That We Need It For 3 or 4 Days I just needed My Laptop Fixed Fast! Hard Drive Gave Out They Put A new Solid State Drive Transferred My Files And I picked it up Literally within 24 Hours! They Were Great!!! Highly Recommend Them!

Mr Hartley, completed the work, which other companies were charging much more in a coordinated fashion. I had to remind him to send me the invoice. Will hire him again.

My HOA was replacing the siding of the condominiums when all of a sudden the power went out as they were working next to the outside building electrical box. The HOA electrician blamed it on my personal electrical panel box and said I would have to get mine replaced. I didn't believe them so I called Paul over and he was extremely helpful and thorough. He went through and diagnosed every possible cause and none of them pointed to my box being the problem. Turns out, the company replacing the siding nailed through and hit the electric line and almost caused a fire. Paul is truly a blessing and knows what he's doing.

Had a few estimates and this was the most reasonable one. The work was completed the very next day. The electricians were prompt, courteous, neat and very hardworking. The job was impeccable. Ernest refused payment until the car was home and could test the charger. Only then was the invoice sent. Highly recommend and will use again for our electrical needs!

We first hired Excel at our previous residence, when we needed to remove some old wiring from an outdoor installation. When we moved into a new residence, we hired Excel again to install some new circuits and outlets, and to rewire some mistakes left by previous electricians before we moved in.

Scheduled for 12:00 to 2:00 appointment and stated the would text 45 minutes prior to arrival. At close to 2:00 I texted them to ask if they were on there way. They eventually texted back that they were running late and would text me prior to arrival. At 4:00 they texted and said they would have to reschedule.All communications via text had to be initiated by me! Don’t waste your time with these guys. I ended up scheduling with a different contractor.

Electric Medic was very prompt in coming out to resolve a mis-wired dryer outlet and troubleshoot a faulty doorbell for the home we just moved into. My wife and I are so happy to finally be able to do laundry! These guys were quick to discover the issue and walk me through what the solution would be, and the price was very reasonable for their service. I would recommend Electric Medic to anyone in the area, and I’m sure I will be calling them again in the future!

Don’t waste your time if you need electric work done in the city. I Called for assistance for some faulty outlets and they they didn’t want to do the work because they didn’t want to “deal with parking” even though they charge $65 for a trip charge.

Great service and fair prices. Joe was great and dedicated to quality work. Will absolutely be keeping this number handy should the need arise for a plumber or HVAC technician in the future.

We had a great experience with Still Electric! They installed outdoor outlets, swapped light fixtures, and rewired a majority of our 1917 construction house (along with getting the work permitted) within one week. Our walls are plaster, and they took care not to cause too much damage with the necessary cutting. The price was fair, and we plan to use them again in the future if we need further work done!

I found this business/guy Ralph through a Craigslist ad, advertising that he was slow on work because of COVID and mostly relies on referrals. I texted him to get a quote and to schedule a time for the work to be done. He only had one day available in the current month, a day I was not available, and was booked for a month out otherwise. Why advertise that you have openings when you do not? If he had started with, I only have one day in the current month and booked for the next, I would not have wasted my time explaining the electrical needs I was looking for at the current moment. I told him I was looking for someone who could do the work soon in the start of conversation.  Others may have had great experiences, but mine sucked!
