Best Home Repairs in Columbus OH

Tyler and Donovan were very professional and made me feel comfortable with my repair options (especially since one of them had to undo my DIY job first). The prices seemed fair, but most of all, I feel they did a good job to get our repairs done timely, kindly, efficiently. Plus they vacuumed and cleaned up after themselves.

TLDR: Buckeye Electric of Upper Arlington (BEUA) fulfilled our electrical needs quickly and thoroughly. By far the best quote we received for the work. Inspection passed with flying colors. Would recommend using them.

Our home inspector mentioned we should think about upgrading our panel for safety reasons. Our former panel was a Pushmatic 150AMP panel, which, if you look up info on them, it’s not great. We wanTed to replace that panel and upgrade to 200AMP service and have fan installed in our master bedroom.
I did not grow up in the Columbus area, so I had no idea who to contact for electrical work or what to expect to pay. My father worked construction his whole life and had many connections. I asked him to reach out to his electrician friend back home to get an idea about what to expect for the cost of the work (this quote I could trust).
After hearing back from my father’s electrician, I set out calling/emailing numerous Columbus area based electrical companies for visits. I received multiple quotes, all varying in price. BEUA was very close to the quote my father’s electrician told me. I knew I could trust that they weren’t over charging and gave an honest quote.
BEUA came out the following week and replaced the panel and installed the ceiling fan over the course of two days. Panel was replaced on day one and took a few hours. Tony and Tommy did the install, and were very informative as to what was happening and when power was being disconnecTed and reconnecTed.
During the ceiling fan install, Tony informed us that the down rods we purchased didn’t fit the fans we purchased, so my wife made an impromptu visit to ‘Orange Big Box Store’ to exchange the fans. This was really the only hiccup and was our own fault. We ordered the fans and downrods on our own, and didn’t realize downrods weren’t universal…

P.S. Always get multiple quotes as we found out one ‘highly raTed’ company quoTed us the work would cost over 3x more than what my father’s electrician would have charged us.

I hired Quality Electric to install a ceiling fan and a ceiling light in two of my bedrooms. The electricians were professional and completed the job in a timely manner.

After a mix up regarding the cost of the job when the electricians told me a higher price than I was originally quoted, the company stood by the lower price and later refunded me the difference.

I would definitely consider Quality Electric if you are searching for an electrician in Central Ohio.

We called James M. Hartley we needed some electrical work done. He was very honest told us what we need and didn’t need. He fixed are problems, his prices was reasonable we will be calling him again. I will recommend highly to my family and friends.

We are very happy with the service we got from Mr. Electric. I was impressed they were able to send someone out immediately after I called for service! The technician, Tyler, is clearly an expert in his field. He was thorough in diagnosing the issue, and explained all of his work so I could understand what needed to be done. Really appreciated how nice the techs and sales people were. Jason came out and gave me a quote, and Charles & Bryan performed the work. Great experience with Arlington Electric. We needed two outlets installed for mounted TVs because our toddler could pull on and pull out the cords. The work done was above any of our expectations and we will be using Arlington Electric again for other jobs we have in mind.

Wow! I called because of an outlet I fried and they were out within 2.5 hours. Jose and Edgar were super fast, polite, and they were courteous with keeping their shoes covered which is always something I really appreciate, especially in this gross weather! They were great. We will be looking to have new outlets added to our kitchen when we remodel, so I will certainly use them again!

The only feedback I have is, I got an alert they were 30 mins away. So I started heading back toward my house with about 10 minutes to spare before they’d arrive. It turned out, they’d already arrived but almost left because I couldn’t get them in! My husband was able to let them in thankfully and caught them as they almost got back to their van. This is nothing on the guys, in fact, being early is awesome and rare for service industry. More so, the problem seemed to be with their “tracking system.” It plotted them about 30 mins away the whole time so it just doesn’t seem to be working right. This won’t keep me from calling them again, their prices were very fair and the work was done well! :)

Workmanship is good in areas visible to inspetors, but a little lackluster in hidden areas. Check out this recepticle they installed with a very loose neutral wire and two ground wires on one screw. The ground screw pops out so far that the recepticle tilts sideways in the junction box. For as much as we paid them, I would have expected better workmanship. They also connected 7 x 12 guage wires in a single red wire nut rated for up to 5. Caused the wire nut to buckle and resulted in a loose connection. I shouldn't have to double check the work that my electrician does.

Overall they're very professional and much better than many other electricians I've dealt with, just be sure to double check their work.

Randy and Mike showed up on time and ready to go. They took the time to make sure i understood all options since the install was more complex first thought.

They were fair with the pricing and both friendly and professional. We had to do a bit of sweeping insulation afterwards but would recommend and use them again.

Had another circuit panel added to my existing one. Chris did fantastic work and I could not be happier. He showed up when expected and was very knowledgeable and professional. If I ever need any electrical work done on the future, this is the place I'm calling without any hesitation.

Billy was professional, courteous, and efficient. He diagnosed and resolved an issue where multiple outlets were not working in a room. This was my second experience with Converse and I continue to be a happy customer. The prices are upfront, honest, and fair. Keep up the great work!
