Viva Electric Electrician
Viva Electric has once again provided 5 star service for our residence. Our electrician, Jeff, was able to diagnose a less than straightforward problem (screw from a sliding barn door had pierced a wire high up on the bedroom wall) in less than 5-10 minutes, offered easy to understand solutions, and fixed the issue in a highly professional manner at a very reasonable price. Viva electric is hands down the only choice when it comes to residential electrical needs.

No Shorts Electric Electrician
Fast, Professional, Reasonable (price) - I placed a call for a quote, and was on the books to have my situation looked at within 48 hours. The gentleman (I believe his name was Ron) showed up a few minutes early (I'm not complaining!). He immediately came in and assessed the situation. He would've completed the work in less than 30 minutes, but there was a piece from my chandalier that had broken off and we couldn't locate (totally my fault). Ron left and went to Lowe's to purchase a replacement piece. He didn't even charge me for it! He completed the entire repair in a little over an hour, but considering that he had to leave my home to go shopping for parts, I was very happy with the time it took. I highly recommend No Shorts Electric, and I will be using them again for any future electrical needs. I couldn't be happier.

Patterson Contracting Services LLC Electrician
We had Patterson contracting Services to our home to help us move our home audio onto current technology. Our older setup was no longer working and we weren’t sure why. Patterson spent time listening to what we wanted and checking/testing our equipment to diagnose where there were problems. This allowed him to recommend what equipment we really needed and what we could continue to use. He followed up and scheduled a return as soon as the new equipment was delivered. After a full install he spent all the time we needed going over setup and use… never getting frustrated even after he got the same question multiple times! We are so excited to watch our first movie with our new setup tonight. We give Patterson two thumbs up! I wish all service companies were so efficient, productive and helpful.

Providence Electric Electrician
We were looking for someone to install some ceiling lights, but also were looking to upgrade our circuit breaker box as well
We went with the CB box first. This guy pulled out every single circuit breaker in the box and replaced them. He also replaced some of the internal power cables. Won't use him again for other transgressions, but doubly won't use him for what I just found out. Got another electrician in to do some work along with CB box. He just told me that the circuit breakers that were replaced about 4 months ago, are outdated, no longer used or manufactured circuit breakers, that shouldn't have been used. Paid thus shill good money and he pulls a fraudulent job like this. Luckily we were looking into replacing this panel, seems we now have to replace it. This fraud took over $1,000 for this, and he too all our older, probably better, circuit breakers with him. God knows where he got the ones he installed here. This borders on the criminal and wilfully negligent, to put someone's house at risk in this way. There are so many reasons not to use this Tom, fake electrician, but this alone should be enough to avoid this guy like the plague. Shady doesn't even begin to describe this guy.

Sky Electric Electrician
What else can you say about Sky Electric that the reviews don't say for themselves. Ronnie is an excellent resource for all your electricity needs big or small and has completely knocked out of the park every single one of our projects we've thrown his way. He has also recommended us a great plumber and roofing company that was the same caliber as him. We've got him lined up for another big project of running power from our breaker to our shed we're converting into an ADU. Every item we've needed him to work on he completes quickly and efficiently and lays out exactly what he needs to do. He's upfront with materials and costs and doesn't waste any time, he'll always ask whats next at the end of the job and if you forgot to mention something or want him to check something else out he's always got time. He loves to chat it up like myself too and is an excellent local tour guide for any type of activities you're looking to do, he travels the USA and is a great outdoor type who is an absolute do'er. He's not only helped us with our home projects, he's helped us who have recently moved to the area find great places to go outside and enjoy with our family, places to eat/drink, and is always good for some great conversation about the area or where you're from because chances are he's stopped through there! If you want a hardworking local family man to really take care of your most sensitive of systems in your housing, then look no further than Sky Electric! (Ronnie you rock, thanks for everything!)

Lamm Electric Electrician
It was after 7:00pm and I needed someone to fix an outlet in my garage ASAP because I had our 2nd refrigerator on that outlet - with no power! I called several places and Lamm called me immediately. He had me text him pictures and he walked me through finding the problem. We were able to fix it and my refrigerator is working! (I offered to pay him for his time and he said no)

Bates Electric Electrician
It is great that Bates has superb customer service folks on the phone and was able to send someone out to install a 240V outlet in the garage as early as the next day and the two gentlemen who showed up were super nice ... however ... despite the costs being explicitly stated in advance ($80 trip charge, $80/hr labor, plus parts), I ended up being charged 1.5 hours for just over half an hour's worth of not quite professional work. Two reasons for that: a) I was apparently charged almost an hour for the technician's time to go shopping at Home Depot for the most basic of parts (an outlet, a box for the outlet, a few feet of cabling, etc.), and b) the person who did the work was the new guy and although he was experienced, he was clearly being supervised by the more senior tech for a reason. End result? An outlet that's not flush with the wall because a few corners were cut. I don't get why I have to pay you labor rates to show up at the job site with the proper equipment when I already told you what I needed to have done and I even sent you pictures _well before_ you arrived at the job site. It's not like this person had to leave my home and go far away and then come back (but even then, shouldn't you have some of these things in your truck, especially on the day of the job?). I'm sure he stopped at the Home Depot on the way from his previous gig to this one. I feel like levying a trip charge and labor rates for shopping is technically double-dipping. When I brought up these concerns to their customer support folks, I was told someone would be calling me back (after much resistance and arguing; they're exceptionally trained ... I felt like I called an insurance company to file a claim). Well, three days later, I haven't heard from anyone.

UPDATE 08/24: After getting nowhere with the back-office folks, the owner himself was kind enough to speak with me, hear me out, and send Justin out to make it right by his customer. I really do appreciate that. I am definitely pleased with the end result. However, I think it's important for customers to know, up front, that they're liable for the electrician's time spent procuring the parts needed for the job. If given the choice, I would rather go get them myself instead of paying labor rates for that Home Depot trip. It could be that I'm just that naive and that this is how the entire industry operates.
