We had been having issues with the air conditioning running but not actually cooling. Called ecobee, they recommended we get our ac maintenance.Called Penguin Air, they stated they would schedule us for the next day & that the tech would call 30 mins prior to his arrival after 8-4pm. He didn't call until 5:36 pm. Came out & was bothered he had been called to run maintenance tests on a Sunday. Quoted $590 for a capacitor & Freon. Didn't like his vibe & let him know he could go. Talked to the husband and we contacted Semper Fi Heating & Cooling. They came out 15 mins later and let us know what was wrong in detail. Showed us we might have a leak in the system and explained the importance of checking every aspect not just the unit. They didn't quote us until they talked us through our issue & didn't request payment until the job was done.Penguin air is a mediocre company who seems to care more about money & less about assisting their customers. Do not recommend.

He cleaned out my water heater. Tate was very professional knows a lot about the business and gave great info On a tankless water heater .

EDIT TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: The owner, Allen, called me today and we spoke about my review. He was extremely apologetic and VERY professional. It really impressed me. He explained that Alex was in the process of being trained.
Really nice man that really cares about his company.

I am rating this business so the owner can possibly fix a situation that is fixable. Alex from their booking team is not very good. They are a little slow to respond and they are not very good at relaying data to the manager that makes the quote. I sent in information for some doors I need installed along with pictures and links to the actual products. The scheduler obviously did not send the links to the manager because the manager came back saying they couldn't install the door because I used the term Iron door. I understand that I used the wrong terminology but if the manager had been given the links to the items that I had purchased he would have seen that I should have said security door. Also, Alex asked about the other door but again it was obvious he didn't share with the manager because the question would have been answered just by looking at the link.
If you want to use them hope that you don't get Alex as the booking agent.

Scott has always been there for AC repairs and now finally a replacement. He was prompt with service and we had a new unit quickly installed. I will definitely be using his services again!

Left my house brand new everything from a to z

I was driving south on Alma School Rd just past Guadalupe Rd heading towards Elliot Rd at 3:14pm on 12-18-22 when I saw your company vehicle, license plate CM34525, in the lane next to me and I witnessed the gentleman throw out the passenger window, what I'm guessing was empty, but a pack of cigarettes, it was white and driving 45 I couldn't see a brand.

The Phoenix Handyman showed up on time and was able to fix my list of things that needed to be done. He completed them in a timely manner. His prices were reasonable and willing to hire him again.

As a long time exhibitor participating in events across 5 states we have never experienced a utility provider that treats vendors so poorly. We were a late addition to an event based on a cancellation and didn't have the opportunity to send our electrical order in for the advanced payment discount. We sent the order form in the day we received our exhibitor contract, which was only 1 business day past the discount rate. Refusing to honor the discount their rep claimed they do not negotiate with vendors. As a service provider FOR vendors this type of robotic, boiler plate response is something we have never encountered in 15 years at hundreds of events. Absolutely disgusted and disappointed to say the least. Beware of working with this company in Arizona if you do trade shows. Horrible customer service.
