I would recommend Mr. Electric when you have need of an electrician. Wade Houston diagnosed and resolved our issue quickly. Definitely will call them first if I have issues in the future.

We had a weird issue where the fan switch on the wall caused the TV to turn off briefly. The guys were totally professional. After fixing the fan switch, they helped me maximize the hourly minimum by offering to complete the installation of a ceiling fan I had been putting off. All that *and* they came in under estimate. In summary: switch fixed... ceiling fan installed... all for less money than anticipated.

I can not say enough positive things about Max Electrical. First of all, they have NEVER been late. Not once! If they say they are on their way, I will guarantee they will arrive when they say will! Yesterday, Darren, my all-time favorite, came to test and fix my outlets and switches. He was able to very quickly assess the issues, rewire, and install all new fixtures faster than you can say jump down, spin around, pick a bail of cotton! Darren is extremely professional and thoroughly nice. He also magically erases any traces that he's been here. No dust from drilling holes, no footprints, no nada. I also love the fact that he explains what he is doing, in the simplest of terms, so I actually understand the electrical process. Finally, the prices are unbeatable! I was referred to Klock's Electric by a homeowner's group that I'm a part of. I'm a serious DIY'er, but I had a few things that I could not figure out in my house. Some outlets stopped working, a light fixture I installed (after installing a few of the same) would not turn on, and some small things. Lance came by and had me fixed up in less than an hour! They were so nice about everything, so polite. If I need any electrical work done in the future, I know who I'm calling!

Had my dishwasher and kitchen GFCI breakers changed by this company back in October. As soon as they left, the microwave and stove also began to trip. After living in a world where I had to go outside to flip the breaker each time I needed to use the microwave and/or stove, I recently called a knowledgeable friend to take a look, as well as a Master electrician, both of whom confirmed the work that had been done was not done correctly. Now I’m out of pocket even more money to redo the work and fix the additional issues that this has caused.

Far and away, Bowne electric has been the best electrical contractor I have used. From large projects to a simple check on an electrical short circuit, they have by far been one of the most professional and prompt contractors that I know of. When they say that they will show up at 0800 on a particular day, they will show up either on the dot or before 0800. They have demonstrated again and again that they hire very competent, professional, and courteous employees. I highly recommend them, and I will continue being a repeat customer should I need any electrical work in the future.

The electrician was out to repair a broken light switch in my apartment. He was very personable and polite. He told me all of the things that he did while he was fixing my light switch so I would know what to expect next time I need him. The electrician also had some good suggestions for other repairs around the house, which saved me some money!
