Yes they deserve 5 star rating. Their quote was detailed and clear. Upon accepting the quote, their communication from that point was good and kept me updated on what the actual date would be. On the day of install, a crew of two people arrived at 8 and finished the job under 4 hrs. The job was to run cable on both sides of house with conduit and fish through attic. The guys were professional and discussed the options with me before starting the job and were clean in their craftsmanship. Fully satisfied and recommend them for wall charger installs. ??

Received a text this morning for my EV charging installation appointment. They work around my schedule perfectly. Got a 30-mins heads up upon their arrival, perfect. Jessica and Jeff showed up to my front door less than 30 mins later. Jeff did the head start with all the cables outside and finished within an hour of their arrival. They work their magic around Texas heat. Easy communication, courteous crews, and just thumbs up all around. Thank you so much, Grayzer Electric!

I'm happy with Grayzer Electric since they thoroughly explained information and helped me understand so I could choose wisely. I wasn't sure which route to choose given the almost twofold price difference between installing NEMA ($500) and Tesla Wall Connector ($1100). If I chose the less expensive NEMA option now, I was worried that there would be issues in the future. With the help of an informed family member, I verified the information Grayzer Electric had given me and realized they are obviously professionals in their industry. I decide to use the Tesla charger they suggest. They no longer install NEMA, in any case. They installed my Tesla charger the day after I accepted their quote.

Well deserved 5 stars. Communication with company was quick and well detailed. Max showed up exactly when he said he would. The installation of the EVSE was super clean. Very happy with Grayzer and would highly recommend them.

I used Grayzer electric for an electric vehicle charging station installation job on advice from two neighbors. They had an easy-to-use online form and were able to fit me in within a day of me emailing them rudder my charging station had arrived and I was ready for installation.The installer was professional and knowledgeable - plus, he cleaned up after himself! The install looked great. Pricing was upfront, there were no hidden fees, and I received a very helpful email about claiming tax and electric company credits. I would definitely recommend them!

I contacted Grayzer Electric along with a few others last summer when I got my Tesla Model Y to get an estimate for upgrading our older mod-90's service panel and install a Tesla charger. At the time, it was a very good price, but I ended up going with a much cheaper option of getting a 14-50 outlet installed off our sub panel in the garage. Turns out, that was a mistake, as that solution gave us problems until I de-rated the charging by 50% to not kick off and overheat our sub panel breaker. I learned the hard way that old adage about having to do something twice.So this summer I decided enough was enough, and got new estimates from various electricians around Austin (the big names you all know).The prices were honestly shocking, but I also reached out to Grayzer again as well. They refreshed the estimate, which barely changed at all. Their reviews are great, so I said let's do it. Because I'm not in City of Austin, they were able to schedule me the same week.Max and his crew showed up exactly on time, maybe a few minutes early even, and was very clear about everything that needed to happen. Once PEC arrived and pulled the meter, they all got to work, with him removing and replacing our old panel with a new Eaton CH, and the other two helping and running the conduit and lines for the charger. The garage of our 2-story is opposite the panel, so this was an up the side, over through the attic, and down the other. I did an outside install, since the Tesla Wall Connector is weatherproof.The final results are fantastic, and charging at 48A is so much better than 16A. The guys were easy to talk to, answered every question I had, were fine with me being nosy and watching them work. The inspection was smooth and took just a few minutes, and the whole job was done – including the wait on PEC to come back and push the meter back in – earlier than they originally said when they arrived that morning. The bill was exactly the original estimate, too. No overage.Fun fact: the total cost was $2k less than just the panel replacement estimate from the other guys, and about half the other full estimates I got. Grayzer charged about what I found when I googled cost to replace service panel. Fair price, honest people, great results.I would recommend them to friends, family, and complete strangers, like y'all. :)

Can't say enough about my experience with Brock at Grayzer Electric. I found Grayzer via a Google search and contacted them based on their high reviews. I was not disappointed. From the start, Jessica was very informative in setting up the appointment and guiding me in what I would need to consider in the install of a single coachlight over my garage door. Meeting the electrician, Brock, just carried over my buyer's confidence even more. He arrived on time and got to work, helping me decide on placement, size, and set up. He instructed me clearly on not only how to direct the necessary masonry pre-work for my install but also on a recommended timer for my fixture. Next, he engaged me on desired fixture placement, treated all of my questions with respect and patience, and got to work on the wiring. The wiring and conduit was clean and unobtrusive. He saved me money by suggesting the timer setup and I've not looked back. Neighbors marvel at how tidy the conduit and end results look. And the light is a beautiful add to my home. I found Grayzer from a long list of Tesla recommended installers. Let me say, I am SO glad I went with Grayzer. They visited my house and prepared a quote within days. All other competitors were slow to respond and over priced.Max P and Todd arrived on time and did the work swiftly with top notch professionalism. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical across my attic to the other side of my house. We were in the middle of a heatwave and the attic was extremely hot, but they met the challenge and delivered perfect work. The location of the charger requires running electrical in a very tight spot and was expecting conduit outside my house. However, they pulled off what I though was impossible and did a SUPER clean install. Nothing exposed, just a Tesla charger on the wall, exactly where I wanted it.Post install, Max P ran me through the warranties, wifi setup, basic instructions on things to do before calling for help. He was very knowledgeable with Tesla chargers and explained why I should pair wifi. Best of all, I am no longer charging at 4mph. My car charges above 40mph, a 10x improvement.Seriously look no further for an electrician. Having tried a few others on various projects, this team is the best.

Brock and Dylan were exceptional! We have a 1970's home and wanted to update the lighting, ceiling fans, switches, and outlets. The installed the Lutron Caseta switches with wireless remote and mobile phone control of the lighting.We scheduled the appointment with Grayzer. They confirmed the dates, sent an email letting us know Brock and Dylan would be arriving the next day. They called us to let us know before arriving each day. They treated the job as though they were doing it in their own home.My second fantastic experience with Grayzer Electric.The quality of their people makes the difference.

All around excellent experience with this business. I was provided an estimate a couple years ago, but I decided to hold off on the work until just recently - and Grayzer responded almost immediately to my inquiry for an updated estimate. The cost and availability were both better than a competing bid, and just a few days later Max and his partner (whose name I didn't catch - sorry!) got all the work done in a flash, cleaned up after themselves, showed me everything was working, and made sure I didn't have any lingering questions before leaving. Grazer is awesome! I needed a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed. Scheduling was super easy. They offer standby scheduling, if you have the flexibility. Quotes can be handled digitally, via pictures. Max, the installer, was prompt, informative, and did a fantastic job. Thanks Grayzer!

Right after Grayzer installed some recessed lights, the breaker would trip frequently when turning on the lights. Apparently they did not wire them appropriately, causing the circuit to arc i.e. a fire hazard. One light = honest mistake, three out of four = one star.Update: I gave two more stars as Grayzer did contact me to apologize and to find out more information about what happened, which I appreciated. I should mention that they do warranty their work but I just didn’t want them back. However, they offered to reimburse me for the other electrician who fixed the problem so even though it didn't work out the first time with Grayzer, they do seem to go out of their way to make things right.

Under promise, over deliver! They said it would be 2 weeks before my ev charger install, they were there in a week. Said they'd be there at 2, arrived at 1.54. Said it would take an hour. Lies again: took 36 minutes. Said I would charge at 20 miles/hour. Nope, getting 26. This team is good!From initial contact to install and the city permit inspector, response was awesome, friendly, professional, priced fair, and clean. Will absolutely use them again!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. I hired Grayzer to install a Wall Connector for a Tesla in my parking lot at my small condo complex. First, the communication with this company was above and beyond when explaining what was needed. I had a lot of questions since I'm dealing with an HOA and property management. They were patient and very helpful & responsive. Then the quote arrived - it was detailed with a very competitive price so I hired them. On installation day, Max was incredibly professional, and the work was done perfectly. My neighbors commented on the quality of the workmanship and how pleasant the electricians were. Max & Grayzer are top notch, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with this company again. So glad I found them.

Grayzer was fantastic. They were extremely responsive and communicative when determining a quote for a long 220 run to a new split system condenser. Grayzer electric was great. I needed an exterior light installed where no light existed. The exterior wall is brick and another company I contacted wouldn't even do the job. Brock, the technician assigned to the job, called me two and a half hours before the scheduled time saying he was available. I was out but told him I could be back in 15 minutes. He was already waiting when I arrived home. He assessed the situation and found a good location for the light, consulted with me as to how high I wanted the light to be placed and went about his work. He told me it would take an hour to an hour and half to finish the job and that's exactly how long it took. Grayzer charges by the hour and then by the quarter hour after that and the cost was extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Grayzer to anyone.

We used Grayzer Electric to install canned lights in our rooms and they'll be the first people we call for any future electrical needs. Their emails (initial quote, service planning, and service reminders) were timely and thorough. Thanks to Grayzer Electric, we can finally charge our electric vehicle faster than 3 miles/hour.Dan helped us understand the different home charging options available, and Brock and Todd double checked that our charger plug would fit the new outlet before completing the job. First off, their receptionist/scheduler, Jessica, is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful explaining their service and pricing. They schedule within a 2hr window...also a plus in my mind.Electricians Jim and Logan(? hope i got names right?) were very clear on when they would show up the day prior and then called ~45min ahead of arrival to ensure I was home. Both days they actually arrived early! Pretty surprising based on other contractor experiences I've had. Just recently bought a house needing some electrical repairs and decided based off of reviews and a personal recommendation that Grayzer Electric was the way to go. I was not let down! Victor was able to quickly repair all of the issues that I had (faulty wiring, missing GFCI plugs, improper grounding, hot and reversed plugs, blown transformer). I've been a customer for years. Currently moving out of state and needed a small job done. Sent a video and was providing access to the house to have install of an outlet done in order to sell the house.Grayzer refused to take on the work unless I was present in the house when the electrician arrived.This is disappointing not only because we aren't in the state for this but also that there is still rampant Covid in our community and I can't be the only person trying to get work done without contact.Highly disappointing service from this company. Project: Installation of an exterior fan on a front porch without existing electrical connection.The electricians from Grayzer worked tirelessly to determine a way to run electrical to the porch in the most aesthetically appealing manner possible, which due to the construction of the house was not an easy feat. Brock was able to get the wiring routed through interior joists directly out to the porch joist which I wanted the fan hung. Upon completion they left my home clean. I feel their prices are reasonable and their electricians are courteous, prompt, and extremely competent.I would recommend Grayzer Electric for your electrical needs.

They were able to schedule me quickly for a home remodel job. Placed a total of 7 recessed can lights with dimmer switches. Max was awesome; very friendly and courteous and always giving suggestions and tips on how to do the job better. Found Grayzer Electric from a web search. I called them to set a schedule. They provided me a complete estimate for installing LED lights in my kitchen (ceiling) and adding a dimmable switch. Estimate was very reasonable. The electricians Victor and Dylon arrived as scheduled.They explained the process for installing the LED lights and how they would light up the kitchen area. They carefully spaced out each LED light so that all areas of my kitchen had the proper amount of light.When all was completed, the kitchen lit up perfectly. With the combination of the six LED lights (HALO Ultra thin) and the dimmable switch they installed, the lighting is exactly what we wanted. They even went over our living room lighting and showed us what they could do to improve the lighting of our living room.Both Victor and Dylon were very professional and courteous and made sure we were happy with all aspects of the work. Good job!!!A great first impression and would be happy to use Grayzer Electric again.

Excellent experience! A breaker started tripping, and after my own troubleshooting, I assumed it was a worn out breaker. The problem turned out to be a mixture of a ceiling fan fixture and flaky LED bulbs. Max was excellent. He was friendly, listened to my info, and did a methodical troubleshooting. He took time to explain what he was doing, and give me specific instructions if I had similar DIY future issues that I chose to do myself. The bill was only for the 1 hour minimum charge + parts, and he was patient to do everything thoroughly. He even called the next day, to ask if everything was still working well. Grayzer is a winner, and Max represents them well.

Gray zero is the best electrical company I have ever worked. We especially like when Victor comes to our home. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and tidy. It has always been an excellent experience.

I used to be a fan of Grayzer Electric and I have no complaints at all with their electricians.My complaint is with the owner and his wife who runs the office.I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars with this company over the years at several homes and my last home and Lago Vista I had problems with eight $25 electric timer which I asked the owner to please replace and I would provide the new timer at my cost which he refused to do. If you can’t take care of a customer who is spent thousands of dollars and been a loyal customer for years then I don’t have any use for your business.

Professional, prompt, tidy, and efficient installation of my Tesla wall charger. They had to install pipes and wire around the back of the house to a carport.

Scheduling was easy and they kept in almost constant contact with me up till the day scheduled. This constant contact is a far cry from many other businesses I have worked with that leave you hanging and hoping that they will show up. Professional and extremely knowledgable. I even had a question regarding some personal electrical work I was doing on the house and Jeffery answered every question in the email! Would very much recommend, you get what you pay for.

Grayzer Electric was highly recommended to me, and Aaron was gracious and helpful. I do have a gripe, however. My complaint has to do with the pool GFI circuit breaker flipping every time we have rain.Aaron did some peripheral work that probably needed doing, but he did not fix the problem I initially called about, even though I paid them over six hundred dollars. The GFI STILL BLOWS WITH EVERY RAIN SHOWER.I called Aaron a few days after the fist visit, he came a second time, charged me a second time, and did nothing to solve the problem. I cannot recommend this company.

We had a weird issue where the fan switch on the wall caused the TV to turn off briefly. The guys were totally professional. After fixing the fan switch, they helped me maximize the hourly minimum by offering to complete the installation of a ceiling fan I had been putting off. All that *and* they came in under estimate. In summary: switch fixed... ceiling fan installed... all for less money than anticipated.
