Dylan, Mark, and Miguel came out to replace our electrical panel, fix up some junction boxes, do some rewiring, installed a few ceiling fans, removed a bunch of old home security equipment, and replaced all outlets and switches in the whole house. From beginning to end their service was friendly, professional, clean, and communicative. I was super impressed with the whole team but Dylan was our main point of contact. He listened to my long list of requests and even made sure that we inspected all the work. The whole team was just wonderful to work with and I’m really glad we now have an excellent electrician we can refer to others. Thank you so much!

Nick was an excellent electrician. He fixed my main problem within a minute, then performed an inspection of my electrical equipment throughout the house, including the smoke detectors and the electrical panel. The panel was full of hatched gecko eggs, which he vacuumed out. We discussed various upgrades and improvements, for which he provided estimates. I initially called Mr Sparky up to have a few Camera flood lights installed. Russell came out and was extremely professional and gave me a complete electrical inspection of my entire home and came back with few recommendations as to help me get my house back up to code. If it were not for Russell and his expertise, I would have had about 6-10 outlets fail or even worse. I am very grateful for the excellent work and peace of mind now that I have my house up to code. I am extremely satisfied with the work Dylan did at the house to install a brand new outlet behind the dishwasher. He also inspected the fuse boxes inside and house the home to ensure they were correctly done and everything was safe prior to starting the job. He was on time, in fact arrived 12 minutes early which is always appreciated. He was very helpful and kind and extremely knowledgeable. Russ is great. He came out and fixed all the problems that were driving me crazy. He explained why things weren’t working and how I can decorate in the future without overloading the system. He’s fast and efficient. When I call MR sparky I will always ask for Russ!

Russell Villareal and his 2 technicians Mark and Miguel were very professional, super helpful and explained everything clearly & cleaned up after their work- loved these guys. I had great communications with the company Mr. Sparky and was sent a photo of Russ before he came. Estimate was done on the spot, it was my best estimate as well, got scheduled in right away and the work was completed quickly. Thanks guys!!

After talking to two other services, Mister Sparky was recommended. I called them. We agreed to schedule a meeting two days later. But as he was available sooner Dylan arrived a day early and gave me an that was exactly what I needed. And the service was fairly priced. We scheduled the repair. He was on time for the work which he completed very professionally, He communitcated as needed and did what he said. I would recommend Mister Sparky to all my firends. Obviously I would use them again.

Dylan the electrician was super pro and helpful in diagnosing our issue. Even though ultimately it was an issue with Austin Energy, he did his best to get us going in the short term, and describe the issues in detail.

For right now we just got a quote seems very reasonable. The tech that was here was very knowledgeable. Could give advice on what he recommends or see is a better product very professional.

The Mr. Sparky technician provided same day service, did a thorough inspection to identify the problem and then fixed it. All the work also comes with a warranty. My Tech, Dylan was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely call Mr. Sparky with any electrical needs.

This is a scam. I had someone show up and charge me $40 for their home evaluation which I didn’t need because I’m in a new home. They say their quotes are competitive. They do this whole sales pitch like you are buying a car and then gave me a $1,300 quote to hang up 2 lights. It’s ridiculous! I got it done for $200 with another electrician.

The experience was very professional, Kane was upfront and honest of what equipment was highly recommended at the time and what could be fixed at a later time. He provided me with 3 options that he recommended for everything that should eventually be fixed to what should be done now. Kane did not pressure me to get something that was not needed right away. Mr. Sparky guarantee is amazing, all parts and service are covered for 10 years even if they go out of buisness! Usually the service is more than the parts! I Googled the pricing for all the work / parts and with the guarantee, it was very fair. I highly recommend them!!

Used Mister Sparky for a quote to install another bathroom fan over the shower. Dylan was on-time and courteous. Received the quote and will be scheduling the installation in the next couple weeks.

honestly - great. On time, professional, and good value. Technician installed an interlocker for a generator. While he wasn't the most knowledgeable on the specifics, he was able to call his company and get the advice he needed - so good to know they have support when necessary.

Cory helped us out for a very affordable price to get some underground wiring to an external outlet done in our backyard.

I called in for a bad outlet , lady on the phone said technician will come out to check the problem and give me a free estimate, and if I am fine with that , the technician can do the job on the spot. Technician arrived and right on the spot without even checking a thing only from looking at the breakers (which were all on) said “ ok I will run troubleshooting in ALL the house (which was never asked for , everything in the house works just fine), and then I’ll go in the truck and build you an estimate” I’ll charge you for that meantime. When I told I was said you will first find a problem and give me estimate of how much it’s gonna cost to fix. He said “no , I can’t make estimate without troubleshooting which is $450 (!!!!!!) , I’m not paid by hour I’m paid by job and if I’ll give free estimates I’m not going to make money !!So please mr. Sparky don’t mislead people and waste their and your time. Your estimates are not free- it’s $450

Michael came out and evaluated and gave an estimate for several projects. He was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and nice. I would definitely use this company and request Michael for any electrical work needed in the future.

Kane was very explicit in explaining what was wrong and what was needed for the replacement of the breaker box. I was a wee bit taken aback by the cost, but it needed to be done. We knew he was very knowledgeable about the process. And thoroughly explained it to us. Both gentlemen were cognizant of the cats and made sure they didn't sneak outside. Kane even fixed a problem I had with another outlet. We were very pleased with these men and the job they did.

Russell my Sparky electrician was very nice and professional. He did an electrical inspection and offered several upgrade options, which I declined. I needed a new breaker for my dishwasher. An easy fix but a very expensive one. I give Mister Sparky a 5 star bc I was able to get an appointment same day and my tech was great. Downside is the cost of service. Will not likely use again due to the high prices. They do give a five year warranty but a 10 dollar part and 15 min install was $500. Ouch!

After having a negative experience with a different electrical company I found Mister Sparky a refreshing experience. Sabi arrived on time and was VERY respectful to my home. He covered his shoes every single time he when in an out of my to upgrade my electrical system. Sabi asked if it was ok to have an apprentice come help with the install an I agreed finding him to be fantastic lead as they completed the job. All an all I am Very Happy with the work and Mister Sparky comes highly recommended. Ask for Sabi and Mark.

Mr. Guidon is extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. I really enjoyed meeting him but, unfortunately could not afford Mr. Sparky’s high prices for home diagnostics. I found someone here more reasonable to do the minor repairs.

Garrett was excellent at his communication skills and very courteous. He is a very high-integrity individual of great character. But the estimates were WAY higher than I expected and the electrical safety inspection felt like it was pure corporate drivel, completely unnecessary, and nothing like I have seen from other service providers. I don't think I would hire Mister Sparky.

Got a quote to bring home up to code, Dylan was knowledgeable and efficient.

The technician was supposed just repair the living room lights that was not turning on. He went around the house and gave an estimate for $18000 saying hello was just doing his job.He exaggerated the actual issue and gave a quote of $613. Since our electrician was tied up and we needed this done quickly, I paid the $613 for him to tell me he just needed to unplug one of the electrical connection from this circuit.Total ripoff! I wish we had waited for our electrician to do the same job for $200 or less.I am giving 2 stars for their on-time arrival and professionalism.

I requested an appointment to receive an estimate for soffit lighting. The tech was on time and wanted to identify the location of where I wanted lights and the number of lights. Unfortunately, due to the makeup of our home, I was told the location of the lights would be very difficult and without room for error installing them. The tech contacted his superior and also took pics to ensure that he was telling me the correct information. I will say that the tech was courteous and professional however I think for my job, it required someone with more expertise due to the issues that were explained. I did like that the tech was upfront and honest about the job and thoroughly checked our attic,, took pics, and contacted other more experienced individuals to properly diagnose possibilities. So thank you!

Mister Sparky reached out to me promptly when I requested a quote to fix a smoke detector on a 20 foot high ceiling that was chirping. They scheduled Garrett to come over the next day and he arrived on time. Garrett was friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. He provided three options for work in the house, and explained each line item in detail. While I called for just 1 smoke detector chirping, I decided to replace all 12 smoke detectors that carry their 10 year warranty. Additionally, we added a whole home surge protector, secondary AC surge protectors, and an extra outlet upstairs. Garrett was careful, clean, and quick with his work. Despite being originally scheduled for just 1 smoke detector, he got all of the extra work done in the same day. Thank you Mister Sparky and thank you Garrett for the awesome service and work. Eric, the technician from Mister Sparky who worked on our project, is a thorough, hard-working and knowledgeable professional whose work reflects extremely positively on himself and Mister Sparky as an organization.The job that we commissioned Mister Sparky for was not trivial as it required involvement from the City of Austin and Austin Energy (yes two different entities), disconnecting power, setting up new infrastructure etc.. Eric took complete ownership of the job and navigated the gauntlet of city inspectors, procured equipment as needed from far and wide and made sure he got the job done. I cannot emphasize or speak highly enough of his work ethic.The only thing I would hold against Mister Sparky as an organisation, is that they are perhaps a bit inexperienced in the workings of Austin Energy and the City regulations. Consequently they might have been somewhat naive going into the job about how complex it would be, primarily on the administrative side.Over the course of the project I had to make several phone calls to Mister Sparky to get status updates and follow up and at times got mixed responses back. Eventually (on the recommendation of someone at Mister Sparky who I do not know), I called the City myself to get the permits moving. Not sure if that helped, but overall Mister Sparky could have handled the communication and coordination better.That said, I would recommend them wholeheartedly on future projects.
