Panel upgrade and installationManaged the power off and reconnect with local electrical provider - I had to initiate but once ticket in James managed it from there. James also remedied previous wiring issues and advised on what to expect.Great service would recommend to anyone needing electrical work done.Also used some supplies I had already purchased and worked with me on the estimate.

Electrician came at the agreed time and provided a reasonable assessment of the work required and options available to complete the job. The agreed work and corresponding price quote were within expectations and the quality of work was excellent.

Zack did an amazing job installing a power outlet in one of our attic/storage area. He did a free inspection of our electrical system and provided us with some valuable feedback. Definitely recommend him and MrElectric for any electrical needs.

When Zack came out on day one, he did a site survey and we spoke about the options related to the install of a Tesla home charger. From the start, he was very professional and definitely knowledgeable about what was needed to complete the task at hand. He pointed out a few items for our home builder and electrical install team to look into, then gave me his quote for the install. He came back when he was supposed to, did the install, cleaned up after himself, and even discarded some items that we didn’t need anymore! Top notch service and I will absolutely use this service again when the need arises!

Mr. Electric scheduled our emergency repair quickly and with great communication. James installed a meter and breaker box for us. He did excellent work within the time he said it would take. James’ expertise and competence were evident and his great work is very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Mr. Electric operates a lot like many HVAC service companies in the area. They send a salesman out rather than a tech when you request a specific service. The sales tech proceeds to then try and assess your entire home inside and out, looking for any and all services they can try to sell you. You're better off going with a local and family owned business and getting multiple opinions.

Joe was very helpful with getting the right smoke/CO detectors in my home. He was professional, timely and most of all empathetic to my situation. He contacted his boss on my behalf to do additional troubleshooting to find the best resolution to my problem. He was back out the next business day to install and I'm quite happy with rather results!

Max originally came out a few months ago and did some work for us. He was awesome and extremely thorough. We had an issue today and I THOUGHT something might have gone wrong with the original work done. Max came back out and it turned out it has nothing to do with the electric work. Our disposal had locked up, causing it not to turn on. Even though it wasn’t his job, Max showed me how to reset the disposal and fixed the issue, and didn’t charge me or make me feel dumb for calling. I feel bad for wasting his time, but really appreciate that they were willing to come back out and follow up on the original work done and solve my problem even though it wasn’t related to their business or under their scope. I’m not sure if he will read this, but thank you so much Max.

SCAM ARTISTS!There’s a reason they will come out that day. They want to scam you.$10,000 bid for an $800 job? AND a polished sales presentation? Fortunately, this is not my first rodeo. I pity someone who isn’t knowledgeable.The technician did know his stuff. Seemed like a nice guy. He needs to work elsewhere.

Max from Mr. Electric was awesome. I wanted to add a generator outlet so I can have power in an emergency. I had a plan on how to do it which was going to be way more expensive. He figured out another way to do it that is easier and saved me a lot of money. Plus the installation was really neat and clean. They even added a whole home surge protector which I am really glad to have. Super professional service all the way through. He also took the time to make sure I understood how it all fit together and how to switch from city power to generator power.

They were very communicative when it came to arrival time which I greatly appreciate. James was very knowledgeable and tracked down a difficult electrical issue that was a result of a bathroom remodel 15 years prior! They are coming back to install a chandelier in our two-story entry way. I would definitely consider them for future projects.

Just hired Mr. electric for 3 items, and 2 floodlights which did not work properly that night. Max really worked hard trying to make it work. They worked temporarily but he didn't have the detailed knowledge to understand the nuances of the flood light install to turn the knob off test and to lock it in, as well as he didn't know the light switch is fickle with floodlights and can make it turn on permanently if moved too quickly.Turns out like all things it takes a few people to diagnose the problems. I was furious at first thinking they wouldn't help. Used to poor service during Covid I was livid and assuming they did not care. They came out the 3rd day but this time the manager Zach came. He was able to diagnose the small details that made them work and completed the 1st plug issue which I had originally paid $300 to only get. diagnosis without a solve. He came back and fixed it within cost.I'm thrilled with their repeat service to come out and mend the issues if even it took three times. I calmed down each time realizing they absolutely are helping and good on their word. I'm now a Mr. Electric loyal customer. Thank you Max and Zack. And Mr. Handyman I've always loved.

Max and crew were absolutely amazing! He made sure everything was explained in detail, was on time, and gave me a compatible wire for electrical repair that needed to be done around the house. What I really like about Mr electric is that they send you a picture of your service tech so you know exactly who he or she is. They also send and respond to text messages!

Great work friendly service, but way over priced. Cost 958 dollars to install 5 new 10 year battery fire alarms in my 1200 sq foot home. I didn’t feel like shopping around, and sensed this could be the going rate at other highly rated locations. I gave 4 stars because of the cost, still in shock… but happy with the work.

I almost paid $7k+ for nothing!!!After a thunderstorm, the house lost electricity in a couple of rooms. So I called Mr. Electric. The company scheduled a free diagnosis on Monday but was able to send someone on Friday (this is good). After his diagnosis, the technician told me the main breaker panel and the sub-panel both need to be replaced, and so were the seven smoke detectors and four GFCI outlets, and quoted me a price of $7k-8k!!!Good thing I didn't do it! I called Grayzer Electric for another opinion and they suggested that if it's the same breaker for both rooms I'll probably need to have the breaker fixed, but if it's different breakers, then probably there's nothing an electrician can do and maybe it's an issue on the electricity supplier's side.Guess what? After contacting the electricity provider, everything was fixed the next morning! For Free!I do not understand how a certified professional can be so off; I can only guess that they are trying to scamming me for not knowing!And the electrician left the breaker panel open (I had to call again to have him come back to close it off).

My project was a bit of a challenge that several other companies didn’t want to mess with. Jon showed up on time and was confident he could take care of it. Specially equipment was needed in order to access my light fixture and Jon worked diligently to locate it. Once he had it in hand, Jon was able to complete the project no problem. He was responsive and professional throughout the process. Would highly recommend!

Very helpful and informative on everything electrical (especially considering how little I know). We did not feel pressured to do anything. We were given a menu of things that he recommended and he gave up his top three things to prioritize.

We used Mr. Electric to upgrade our electrical panels (which were old and dangerous and not supplying enough power) and add a fuse box for our hot tub. Michael was impeccable in his attention to detail and explaining every pro and con in the process. Had it not been for Michael adhering to code, this project could have gone sideways. He ensured the wiring was efficient and spent extra time doing so. Michael is friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable in his work. There aren't enough people out there like this.

I was exceptionally impressed by the professionalism of Mike Ward and his able assistant Willie. They did an exemplary job and even offered a complete inspection of my circuit breaker boxes. Needless to say, I look forward to having them return for some future projects before year's end!

We are extremely pleased with the work that James did in our home. From the beginning to end, the process was handled professionally and pleasantly. We had James add 11 recessed lights to our living room and hallway. He listened to our every wish and performed the work efficiently and quickly, careful to protect our home as he worked. Fantastic communication. Technician Jon Sangre was on-time, helpful, and knowledgeable when installing my garage EV outlet. Pricing was explained up-front and the work was done very neatly. This is the 2nd time I've used Mr. Electric and I'll definitely be calling them if/when I need a 3rd.

I've used Mr. Electric several times for a variety of fixtures and ceiling fans, most recently running power up and through my attic from one side of the house to the other for a hot tub. Aaron is top notch. Knows his stuff, works quickly, does a great job, and is very friendly. I will keep going back to Mr. Electric each time I need electrical work done.

Jason was a nice person, he was very friendly, was best electrician experience I’ve had. I had some poor quality work done by others and he came and diagnosed the issue was experienced and located and explained the problem to me and fixed it very quickly. Service technician, Jon, identified the problem with my bathroom lights not working and provided a very cost efficient solution. In addition he replaced a burned out outlet and old GFCI receptacle. He performed a very detailed and understandable electrical home safety check; identifying and prioritizing failed items needing repaired. I would definitely recommend this company for electrical repairs. Especially technician Jon.

If you’re a woman reading this, you may know how intimidating it can be to have a “strange” man in your house for work/repairs. But I can tell you right now that not only was our technician super professional, he was also super nice! We joked about our kids and pets, and talked about TV shows - I just really appreciate that he made an effort to make me feel comfortable. The woman who answered the phone when we made out appointment was also extremely friendly and helpful. Michael really went above and beyond to complete the services. He ran into an issue (due to what the previous homeowners did) but did not give up until the problem was solved. He was professional and did an outstanding job! Highly recommend!

I was really pleased with the service I received from Mr. Electric in Austin (Joe). It's the simple things you would expect out of a company...a visit to our home to evaluate what work was needed. There are companies that want you to send photos to provide a work estimate vs. sending someone out to evaluate the proposed job. I obviously recognize Covid related protocols are in place, but the reality is at some point the selected company will need to be onsite to perform the work. Anyway, for my electrical work (50A circuit in the garage - where the main electric feed was on the opposite side of the house), Joe with Mr Electric came out to our home to evaluate what was needed and being he could actually look into the specific attic space etc. was able to come up with a workable solution that the competition was not able to properly size, route and price being they performed a picture based assessment. This went a long way with me in my decision process as I wanted comfort in knowing what was being asked of the electric company could be performed vs. guessing what was possible. I liked the text messages from Mr. Electric informing me of the specific time to expect the technician for both the pre-sales and the actual day the work was performed. (they sent a picture of Joe so i knew who to expect). Joe was on time, professional and cleaned up the areas that he was working on. Mr. Electric's pricing was WAY better than the other 2 companies that i was looking at. An in person pre-sales Joe is what sold me on doing business with Mr. Electric, the other attributes (professional/courteous/on-time/accurate/cleanliness) were also key for me to leave an extremely positive review. I'll be a return customer as well as reference for my experience with Mr. Electric.

Whole company has perfect customer service, request appointment online just few hours later I got call back, schedule appointment in coming week, also they will offer me an early appointment if they have openings. And then today the day before the scheduled, I got call back they filled me in , also 30mins service remind with Technician info in email. When the electrician comes, they wearing mask with checking list, try to knowledge me everything, try to explain every question I have. No push sale!! everything done nicely in same day. After service 30mins later receive a follow up phone call. Whole process is so smooth, professional and responsive. This is my second time using Mr. Electric. I moved my old refrigerator out to the garage and needed an new outlet for it. James Sanchez came out and he was friendly, professional and gave me some suggestions for future work. I am very happy with him and Mr. Electric!

Mr. Electric is great about communicating with you. We received confirmations of arrival times and a profile of the service professional along with a photo. Aaron and his partner were professional and courteous as we discussed our project. They laid out the placement of the recessed lighting before installing to get our approval, explained how the placement was determined to provide the best solution for us. We plan to use Mr. Electric again later in our project and look forward to Aaron returning to complete the work.

Sadly they performed services at my property without my knowledge and apparently hadn’t done anything but left the lights disconnected.They came back and gave me a 10 thousand dollars estimate to fix issues they didn’t explain well why are there in the first place.While they claim the person who called (tenant) identified themselves as the property owner, they gave me no explanation of why/what exactly was done. It’s weird an electrical company leaves your house without fixing the electricity.

Finally we have found our Got-to team for our electric needs. We love Zach our technician! We’ve had them out several times and signed up for the membership as well. Thanks to them we do t have to worry about things as they come up, we know we can count in them for fast and courteous service.

Aaron and Travis were friendly, professional, told me the costs up front before any work was done. I really appreciated all the updates and notifications from the company about their timing and the bio and picture of Aaron before he arrived. Will use this service again.

Aaron and his partner were excellent. They were installing my hot tub and getting it up to code.Aaron explained everything he was doing and how it would work afterward. He also tested the hot tub to make sure it worked correctly. Since being a customer of Mr. Electric, I have requested Aaron to do quite a bit of work at my house. I would recommend him.

We had an unfortunate experience with our pool builders where they ripped up our entire electrical system, leaving our home without power and a severely damaged system. Mr. Electric came out on an emergency call, and within 24 hours, was able to run a temporary line and get our main panel and sub panel back up and running. Not only that, the longitudinal process with them was thoughtful and timely, with Zach leading the way by planning prospectively and being hyper-responsive through the whole process. Zach was amazing, and is one of the few people that we have met that is not an individual player, but a quarterback, thinking ahead and synthesizing what was going on with the pool, plumbing, staging the process, etc... Such a rarity these days. We will forever be in Zach's debt.

Our outlets on the front of the house weren't working. We figured it was probably just a trip switch but we searched the whole house and couldn't find it so we called several places but they were all booked out a week or two. MR. Electric was able to come out NEXT MORNING and were very courteous and professional and after we located the mystery trip switch behind a lot of storage stuff in the garage, he refused to charge us a trip charge. He did a full inspection on the whole house and offered us services but would not charge a trip charge for helping us locate our trip switch.

Wasn't satisfied with the service or pricing I received. Technician was aware that I needed a new breaker installed. Tech said he did a diagnostic check, but merely took pics of my power box and reinstalled old breaker. The process took a total of 15 minutes, but Tech charged me 247.00 just to snap my breaker back into place. I felt if I wasn't a minority, I might have gotten better service and pricing.

The service was not bad and I think the electrician did a good job. I was really frustrated with the scheduling because it seems they double book you and if you’re lucky that the job before isn’t running over then they’ll make it to you. That can be really frustrating when I have a full time job and I had to schedule my job around an appointment they had to cancel because the previous job was running late (I was booked at 8am). The electrician did good and he was nice. Also the photos in their adds are all white men servicing white men. Could be way more inclusive. I did experience a micro aggression through my experience so that was annoying, minorities beware ?

We had Mr. Electric come out to help install some new light fixtures in our new home and replace some outlets and smoke detectors. They were able to come out within a week, provided a clear price estimate and did everything quickly and in a high-quality way. We're very pleased.

Terrific experience! I asked them to come out and install a new outlet and to repair a ceiling fan that had suddenly died on me. They showed up on time, were friendly, asked enough questions to let me know they understood the problems and then launched into fixing them. I'd definitely call them again for future work.

Service professional Greg Vybiral and his associate apprentice “Flipper” were very helpful. They showed up in a timely manner, repaired the electrical issue with ease and explained every step of their process. Greg was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout this process. 10/10 recommend

1.) scheduled 4 hour window. They courtesy called almost immediately to say they would be late because of another job. There is only 1 job I care about, mine. If you can not mange my expectations or let me know there is a job ahead of me and give an accurate estimated arrival then how can I trust you (Mr. Electric) to to good work. the answer is I can't and I won't. There is no excuse for making your (Mr. Electric) lack of preparation my problem.2.) speaking of lack of preparation.... I told the dispatch on the phone exactly what I needed and yet the technician showed up with out the proper equipment to complete the job. Even though the dispatch indicated they would get straight to work on the job if I approved the quote... now as mentioned in a previous review, that piece of equipment was a extension ladder, which I guess they only have 1... because they are so rare and hard to obtain?3.) the cost of using an extension ladder. in what world does an electrician not carry one with him when he is rolling to a two story house. I mean seriously, then you want to charge $500 just to get an extension ladder here, THEN charge me for the work? Isn't that why I hired you in the first place? because you have the tools to do the job? so you are putting literally 4x the cost of a 22ft 225lb rated extension ladder to get it here? ARE YOU HIGH? Charging me for the labor and plus the actual cost of the tools is insane. That cost should be built in to your billable labor and not dragged to the bottom line on small residential projects.AND I saw that the Owner responded to a comment Citing the cost of insurance and the liability. General Liability insurance is very cheap for a small business. So unless there is Bonded work being performed (which is not the case for residential work) this should be covered by basic general liability coverage as would any workman's compensation. How do I know? I own a small business.I want to conclude by saying I work in engineering and construction and I do bids all the time. This was basically one of the most insulting line items I have ever seen based on the raw cost of the item and the labor cost required of that resource. Don't do shady things and assume your customers are ignorant to the fact that you are trying to rip them off.TLDR: they are shady, do not use Mr. Electric.

Donny Bolls rapidly diagnosed and repaired a loose breaker connection. He was competent and professional. In an urgent situation I would not hesitate to call on him or Mr. Electric. My only complaint is that the service call (admittedly after hours, but not wildly so) cost me over $400 for a few minutes' work. But Donny was a lifesaver, so....

Service technician Zack Koehlinger is rude and literally tried to instill FEAR to push their ASTRONOMICAL PRICES to replace a panel in an apartment! Almost $2700 and said “price will increase if decision is not made soon.” I’m sorry WHAT? Someone needs to teach this person manners and customer service. He is rude, provides minima explanation for pricing and is pushy. I do NOT recommend.

I had new light fixtures put in. Aaron was the service man. This was the 2nd call. After he replaced the first set they looked so good I called the same day to have other lights replaced for a future date. The dispatcher called when he was on the way and also once he left to make sure everything went ok. I would definitely recommend and the price was very reasonable.

I would caution anyone regarding using the services of Mr. Electric. I needed light bulbs changed on two high (15ft.) ceiling hanging lights in my entry way and over my stairs. The technician (very nice) after looking over the situation, gave me a quote of nearly $700. $550 to use two ladders. I course I said no. So my son-in-law and I looked over the same situation, and used my own little giant ladder and in 30 min. safely changed out 6 light bulbs at a cost under $30.

Excellent service, extremely professional, and knowledgeable electricians! Zack was able to install and repair all my electrical problems in one visit and taught me a few things about electricity in the process. Highly recommend this company and their skilled electrician.

My primary request of Mr. Electric was to wire an instant hot water heater and they ended up doing more work for me in the same visit. Would recommend them and I will call them if I need any new electrical work done in my home!

Installed a 240-volt circuit for my BMW I3 charger. Circuit had to be brought nearly 100 feet from the box at the far end of the house. Work was done very neatly and professionally. I would be happy to use them again.

Zack did a great job of replacing a bad GFCI circuit that we had in the garage. The company notified us who he was and when he would be here. He was professional throughout the service. I will use Mr Electric again and request Zack if that is possible.

A tech from Mr. Electric came to my house to give me a quote on replacing a panel that was a hazard. The tech reviewed it and then went around my house, uninvited to find other things he said they would need to do in order to get the job done (unrelated and unsolicited). They quote they gave me was literally double two other companies gave me. Shopper beware of this classic bad mechanic maneuver. They bank on you trusting the professional.

We are a preschool and needed someone to help fix an emergency light. Danny came out and fixed it quickly and easily and was professional and kind. While I hope we don't have any more electrical problems, if we do we will DEFINITELY call Mr. Electric!

I've used Mr. Electric several times, to fix problems with faulty breakers in our electrical panel and wiring.They've always been very responsive, provide transparent pricing, and the technicians are friendly and knowledgeable.

I just talked to this Mr. Electric about putting up a motion light outside in the back yard, replacing and regular light. He would not give me even an idea what it would cost. He did offer to send someone out for 50.00 to look at the job. When I pressed him for some idea of cost 100? 500.00? he said that he could not even narrow it down that much. Prompt response late on Friday afternoon. Randy found the problem very quickly and fixed it. We were able to turn on lights in area affected and not suffer through the weekend without lights in a crucial area of our house.

I run a childcare center and my lights started flickering in my office and the laundry room. I called Mr Electric in the afternoon, I had the electrician out first thing in the morning and my lights fixed within an hour. I can't fault them - I think price was very reasonable too.

They were prompt, professional and did precisely what I wanted without any BS. Their workman had to do a little deign to meet my needs and he did it very well indeed.

The electrician was nice and helpful. However, they drastically overcharged. For replacing of AFCI breaker (which costs $50) they charged $375! Greedy company.

Technician tried to charge $ 550.00 to replace two faulty breakers. Refused their service then technician called to whine about doing $ 250 worth of work, prior to replacing the breakers. Overpriced and trying to charge for an estimate. Really?

Replaced 3 outside braker switches in the panel box. They also ran new electrical tape around wires. They did a good job and I would receomend them.

Donny was very professional and did excellent work. I give Mr. Electric my highest recommendation. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
