On October 27th, American Electrical sent Robert Fonseca to our home to fix a problem with a GFCI outlet that the water softener is plugged into. This problem happens every time we have the house power washed. In the past the technician just replaced the outlet.This is the first time Mr. Fonseca has come to our house. He took the time to find out why it happens when the house is power washed. He checked the wires in the breaker box. He followed wires up into the attic and checked them out.The water softener and all the outside outlets are on the same breaker in the electrical box. He started checking every electrical outlet we have outside. The outside outlets are all covered. Turns out a covered outlet we never use on the opposite side of the house by the pool equipment was the problem. When he removed the outlet, it was corroded and wet inside. He replaced it with a new electrical outlet and sealed it. Then he replaced the old cover.Robert was very pleasant to work with. He was very methodical and thorough. If we have an electrical problem in the future, we will ask for him.We think he did an outstanding job.

After receiving a no call, no show from David Gray Electric, I called Bolt Electric on Tuesday May 31st. Heather was the sales rep and she was knowledgeable, personable, and very thorough in the questions she had for what I wanted done. She scheduled Lucas to come look at my house the very next day on June 1st. Not only did he arrive earlier than estimated to my house, he informed me of something that the inspector missed when I purchased this house back in February, which could have literally burned my house down. I went home to check it out and lo and behold he was absolutely right, my electrical panel was discolored from heat damage. The price I was quoted for a new electrical panel alongside repairing a short in a circuit in my house was more than fair, and they sent Mark to my house June 2nd to perform the breaker box change. Then Alex come to fix the short, and his work was superb, he left absolutely no trace that he was even there because he was so clean. In addition, they took care of the permit, which is something many companies will jack the price up on and overcharge their client for. I would absolutely, 100 percent recommend this company to anyone.  From the customer service rep, down to the work performed A+.

Installation team showed up late, was told the tech had an emergency. Found out it was due to working on a trouble call for a previous job. They tried to reschedule for another but I took the day off work for install. Tech showed at 1 PM, then the apprentice went to lunch. They worked late got system running. Came back on Monday to finish, finished the job, left hardware all over the steps in garage, wife stepped on them doing laundry, didn't clean up. Had to return, tech didn't blow out the drain line properly and it clogged, replaced thermostat unnecessarily, failed city inspection, they fixed it. Today went to change the filter, I asked tech what the size was, he told me it came with one and it was installed. None installed, been running month, now coils are dirty, Salesman quit, supposed to fix it tomorrow. We shall see, until then off to Lowes to get a filter. I was going to have them do some electrical work, not now. The people were nice and the air has run very well since install. Its just been frustrating. Saga continued today, 9/24 received call from my wife who was angry she was chewed out by the owner for my review, I retuned the call and an argument ensued with the end result being 1. Owner stated he was going to send a tech out to show me how to clean the filter, um sorry sir, there was no filter, your tech didn't finish the job. 2. Owner noticed where I work using caller ID, made derogatory comment about Civil Service workers, liked my money though. Finally and most importantly this unit has a 1 yr parts and labor warranty and 10 years part from the manufacture,r the owner left me with the impression he would not honor the warranty. Caveat Emptor people, Buyer Beware. My comments about being happy and satisfied in his reponse are in regards to having A/C when it was the hottest part of summer. As for smearing a company, this is the first Google Review I have ever given in my life, no intention to smear but to inform others about our experiences dealing with this organization.

Very pleased. Technicians communication was outstanding both before and throughout the appointment. Was glad to see knowledge and expertise as well as caring for personal effects. Highly recommend, will use again.
