Best General Construction in Jacksonville FL

Today Cody and Daniel investigated why my refrigerator circuit breaker kept tripping, causing my refrigerator to shut off. Obviously this was critical because of the food in the freezer and fridge. They checked the panel wiring, every outlet in the kitchen on that circuit, and finally went into the attic to check the wiring route there. They found a section of the wiring route that was very damp due to the proximity to the A/C ducting. They had to replace that section of wiring and that resolved the entire matter. I appreciated their thorough, professional approach to rule out the breaker, the outlets, etc. They kept me appraised of what they would do next as they stepped through the work. I could not have asked for two more professional, courteous, and knowledgeable electricians. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Thank you, Cody and Daniel.

I hired American Electric to upgrade my service and panel. The staff and technicians were phenomenal, very professional and knowledgeable. Scott and James did an outstanding job, I would definitely hire them again.

Do not waste your time. They never show up and never return your call. Not sure how they stay in business. Wish I would have never used them in the first place.

Outstanding service, worked extremely hard on one of the hottest days to get the job of installing electric for my hot tub finished on time.

Called several times and no one answers the phone and their voice mailbox is not set up. Tried to send a message via their website but that isn’t working either. Not a good sign, despite an impressive website.

We had one wall in our home that no longer had power - neither the outlets nor switches. After trying the usual things to fix it, I contacted quality electrical services. Since it was later in the day, they took my contact information and said they could come out the next day. They called promptly in the morning, confirmed the time to come, and kept checking in to let me know when they were on the way. Very professional and a great price, and my power is working again. I highly recommend!

Great job by Dependent Electric on both the LED lighting project on my office building, as well as outlet and switch installation/relocations at my new house. Got outlets into areas another electrician said couldn't be done without cutting drywall. They cleaned up after the job and left it like it was always there. Bryan and his team are great.

I originally had a disappointing comment for this company but they did eventually rectify the situation after the holiday and as I promised them, if they did, I would improve my rating for them.

John ended up handling my job directly which helped get things done because that phone tag and constant miscommunication between holly and brian drove the 5 stars down to 3. Overall, the finished product came to fruition and I would use them again in the near future

After calling a couple of Electrican companies for 3 items needing repaired - Power and Control - was the most honest and responsive to our inquiries and showed up on time to both the proposal and actual day of work. We needed GFI plugs replaced around entire home, new front porch light installed and new doorbell ringer kit installed. The two technicians arrived on time and had mask on the entire time while completing the invoice. They went above and beyond to make sure they cleaned up behind themselves and took all packaging garbage with them when they were finished.
