I highly recommend American Electrical Contracting for the installation of a whole home generator. Everyone that came to my house, starting with the quote (Justin), to the installation (a team of guys), to the actual start-up (Ed) were great. They were always courteous, professional, knowledgeable and on-time. Ed R., the tech that came out to complete the generator start-up, went above and beyond to ensure all bases were covered, that all my questions were answered and that I was completely satisfied before he left. 5 Stars all the way!

My house had the old cloth wiring throughout and needed replacing immediately. Jeff came out and checked all the outlets and light switches to give an estimate that was very reasonable. Other companies had come out and were going to charge twice the amount...without the warranties that were given by Mr Sparky. The work was done quickly and efficiently. It's obvious that Jeff takes great pride in his work. I was extremely happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend Jeff to anyone needing an electrician. On top of it all he is a really nice guy.

Bolt electric was extremely quick and efficient about updating the panel and old outlets in our 1955 house. After dealing with many unresponsive and unorganized contractors for other projects, they were a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend!!!

Honestly, probably the worst company I have ever encountered. The office person Erica is extremely rude and insulting. Their people arrived and smelled of alcohol and I received a huge bill when absolutely nothing was done. They never even returned with the parts.

I had them perform a safety inspection, tear out some old circuits, and install some new receptacles. John and his crew identified a 220V (hot) wire that was not properly terminated by the previous homeowner's electrician. The wire was tucked away behind some pool equipment and just sort of left there. I hate to think about what might have happened if the safety hazard had not been found. Needless to say, I am furious with my home inspector and the home's previous owner. Do yourself a favor and hire real electricians (such as Lin's Electric) to do your work.

I interviewed 3 electrical contractors for a job consisting of adding 2 GFI outlets to a brick outdoor porch wall. Spectrum arrived on time and gave me a quote. Their bid was 42% lower than the first bid and $4 less than the second bid. They were the more professional of the group. I agreed to the price and they said they'd be back in a week to do the job. Soon thereafter I received an email confirmation of both the bid price and the appointment date and time. The next week two guys showed up right on time and commenced the work. Two hours later they were done. I paid them and they emailed me my receipt on the spot. A seamless transaction with the work done right at a reasonable price. I will use them again.

My name is Marion, my appliances did not work for 12 days. No one could fix the problem. The first electrician said, it's a coincidence that all my appliances broke at the same time. Including my air conditioner and pool pump. The second said, he cleaned the breaker, and now it's working. No! It was burning HOT !
